I really start to like him to be honest . Controversial tech entrepreneur and ex-hacker Kim Dotcom is planning his very own Internet, in which the blockchain would play "an important role".
He made his comments about his proposed 'MegaNet' service on his Twitter feed:   Full article can be found here guys : http://www.coindesk.com/blockchain-play-role-kim-dotcoms-uncensorable-internet/I thought it should be on this section since it involve Blockchain . Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

I don't know mate , He maybe heard of Maidsafe but just not convinced that it's worth it. I personally like the way he do things , Mega (the File host) , MegaChat which will be a very high competitor to Skype , and now MegaNet . He is a big supportive of Bitcoin also . #Screw_NSA ~ Madness |

Maidsafe already does everything that the rest are trying to do. Why not join the development team and stfu?
Maybe Maidsafe is not "it"? If it was the 'big thing' people would move towards it. I'm pretty sure he can allocate more resources than the Maidsafe team. |

LOL there's no way his "Internet" would take off, there would be so many conglomerates up his asshole that he wouldn't even get to launch it. Isn't he like a big time criminal embezzler and fraudster, and creator of that crap sharing site MegaUpload? I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him....  |

Well I don't know mate , I don't know the guy so I can't judge him . But how greedy a humain can really be ? Being a millionaire or billionaire and that's it . He have shitload of money that he probably don't use. I don't see how his money is going to help him when he dies  ~ Madness |

Well, there's nothing wrong with competition, I guess the future is not one "decentralized Internet" but several, eventually we might see standards for this type of networks and they can all coexist so we can use any resource within any network without being restricted to a particular network. |
