3221  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and generation gap on: October 17, 2017, 05:03:53 AM
Nowadays the “identity” of bitcoin is known well only amongst people, who are pretty much “into” the computer technologies and crypto-world. Others, especially the elder generation (people from 40’, for example), imagine bitcoin as something mysterious, fake and dangerous, though it is not.
It’s technological contents are more than real and very helpful for the modernwayrld. So, in terms of this situation, I would highly appreciate your help with coming up with easy and understandable lines for changing people’s thoughts and points of view on bitcoin.

Sad but this is true, it's very hard to bridge the gap between us and the old generations because they can't easily cope to the technological advancements that we have today. Actually this is also my problem right now, I hesitate to withdraw all of my bitcoins because I'm a little bit nervous in what my relatives would think of me if they saw me having lots of money. I'm not sure if they will understand if I explain to them that it came from bitcoins, a decent way of earning an income.
3222  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people scam on: October 16, 2017, 01:22:52 PM
Getting a job is not possible for everyone, not everyone has family or [friends] to help them and sometimes they will make the bad situations even worse them. If you've ever really needed money and were very desperate, than you probably know that people would let you starve to death rather than give you $5.

It's weird how people won't toss out just a few dollars to help someone in need, yet they'll spend $10000 or more on their pet that has an average life span of under 5 years.

But then again, if you give the person in need money, they'll keep coming back for it. It's a real crap shoot
With all due respect, I don't see any relevance of "scam" in your post so try to give it another title.

Anyway, with regards to your question, I believe that our life is survival of the fittest. As a human, you should stand on your own as much as you could because the help that you need must first come from yourself. Let's say for example, I were given a chance to give some help between a young beggar and an old janitor, I will prefer to help the janitor because it only means that he do his very best to change his life compare to a young beggar who has the energy to do work but he don't even try and depends only to the alms.

I believe in a saying (i forgot who said this), "Do not give him a fish, teach him to catch a fish" Smiley
3223  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: motorcycle loans using bitcoin? on: October 16, 2017, 11:09:06 AM
is there a motorcycle dealer / leasing accept credit payments motor using bitcoin?
I never heard that bitcoins can be also accepted in motorcycle loans, but this was a nice idea Smiley Actually, I'm finding also motorcycle shops that accept bitcoin as a form of payment because I plan to buy a 4 stroke motorcycle when my bitcoin earnings already accumulated (this is one of the reasons why I'm working hard to earn bitcoins). In my searching, I haven't find one or even any establishment here in our province, I think bitcoin earners here in our country will continue to convert btc first into fiat money before using but I hope this kind of system will change soon.
3224  Economy / Economics / Re: Central of the Philippines Recognizes Bitcoin on: October 16, 2017, 04:40:05 AM
http://www.newsbtc.com/2017/02/08/philippines-bangko-sentral-recognizes-bitcoin-payment-system/

According to this article the Philippines’ Bangko Sentral Recognizes Bitcoin as Payment System. The article also added that Bangko Sentral states  sees the virtual currency’s potential to revolutionize the delivery of financial services. Additionally, they also mention how bitcoin provides financial inclusion, which is something traditional financial solutions have been unable to provide. This statements coming from the Central Banks of the Philippines will give a potential impact on the rise of bitcoins value on the market. And not only that, the Philippine Central Bank is not the only bank that sees the merits of bitcoin but also the the Central Bank of Nigeria.
Really?!.. Well that's a great news! I'm a Filipino and I'm glad to know that our government see the big potentials of bitcoins instead of criticizing it. It seems that our government finaly accepts bitcoin and I hope they are open for its legalization in the near future. For sure that bitcoins will be a big contributor in uplifting our economic status.

This was a good sign for us and I can't wait the day that bitcoins will adopt all the transactions happening in our country.
3225  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ideas to make some bitcoin on: October 16, 2017, 02:07:22 AM
How can I make minimum of 0.3btc in a month without trading and gambling?
As I've heard bad experience with both, but still need to make money

For me that's too big for a month, that's very hard to earn within a short period of time. My advice to you is to try bitcoin mining where you only need to set up a hardware, just wait and let it earn bitcoins for you. 0.3 btc per month maybe attainable also if your rank in this forum is already a Hero/Legendary because these rank get the highest rewards in a signature campaign.

But one thing is for sure, 0.3 btc or even more is easy to attain in gambling if you are lucky, it's an all or nothing game. In the end, you're the who choose between hard but sure way of earning bitcoins or easy but risky way.
3226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you like best about bitcoin? on: October 15, 2017, 12:12:24 PM
I like bitcoin itself, its concept. I like it because bitcoins are so unique, who would imagine that decimals of numbers only existing in the Internet could have a very significant value in our lives. I think this would be the start of a new system of financing, and I do believe that bitcoins can make our way of living much better than before.

I also like its huge value (and even growing further). When you convert 1 btc into our currency here in my country it almost reach 300k, that's a lot of money and I think you can even buy a car through that.
3227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Become A Bitcoin Expert on: October 15, 2017, 03:12:42 AM
Hello, I've been hovering around bitcoin for months and I want to become an expert in it. What resources are available and what steps can I take to know all there is to know about bitcoin and possibly reproduce the technology involved.
Thank you.
Being an "expert" in bitcoins is very hard to attain because the word itself means perfection or at least almost. The way I think to become an expert is by studying as much as possible, you should read all the articles about bitcoins from the very beginning up to now, research all the related topics to this (including economics, finance etc.) and become familiar with them because you can't only stick to the idea of bitcoin itself, you should also know where and how can it be applied in different aspects of life.

But the secret ingredient to become an expert is EXPERIENCE. I believe that experience is the best teacher, that's why high ranking members here took years of studying and dealing with bitcoins; now look at them, they are so cool because it seems that they knew everything. Either your experiences are good or bad, it all matters because these things mold you to be a good bitcoin earner and to become an expert sooner.
3228  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Use Social Media for Bitcoin on: October 15, 2017, 12:39:59 AM
So recently I was using this app called Instagram (in case some of you never heard of it) and I posted some pictures & videos related to Bitcoin on my Instagram Stories (Like that day when the price goes insanely high and keep going til now). Then 2 days ago some of my friends suddenly asked me about what Bitcoin is & how could the price goes up like that. And I was surprisingly glad to know that I've influenced some people to get to know Bitcoin. And then I introduced them to Bitcoin and answer their questions about it, there were 3 people asking about Bitcoin that day just because of this 1 post.

I mean why don't we just use this power of social media to make people aware about this Cryptocurrency, well I know that there are already some people doing this (like those YouTube channels).
But what I'm talking about here is to us to post something about Bitcoin on our social media, you can just at least post something like your first transaction with Bitcoin and share your story on your Facebook or take the picture of your book that you just bought from the internet using your Bitcoin and then post it on your Twitter.

Don't be afraid to share your experience, you won't get hurt by doing it!(at least not now)
Nice move! I think advertising in social medias are very effective nowadays and it may also help to make bitcoin even more popular. And I'm also glad that you already influenced other people with your posts, at least the bitcoin community becomes larger little by little.

Actually, I also share my bitcoin experiences in Facebook. I'm not totaly advertising a certain token or services, I'm just posting what recent news I gained here about bitcoins and also about what happens to me as a bitcoin earner. But in return, I always got few likes only (there's no comments at all) and I don't know why I am not able to encourage someone, I don't know if they don't really interested in bitcoins or I'm just a poor persuader.
3229  Economy / Economics / Re: 1Bitcoin as a gift from someone on: October 14, 2017, 05:42:56 PM
If you be given a gift of 1BTC by someone and for you this amount is already something you did not expect. Will you sell your bitcoin right away and convert it into cash or just keep it for a better price to come or invest it or what?
I think I'm the luckiest person in the world if I received that huge amount of bitcoin from someone. Anyway, 1 btc was very big if I will convert it to our currency here in our country, it almost reach 300k pesos. With that amount, even I want to cash out it all but I still can't because people around me will be intrigue and might think that I robbed it or get it from illegal things (they still don't have any knowledge about bitcoins) so I will used it in fractions. I store 50% of it into my wallet for future use then I will cash out 25% and use it to buy whatever I want, and I will use the remaining 25% in investing or buy a hardware used in bitcoin mining.
3230  Economy / Gambling / Re: BTCHEAT.COM IS ONLY A HOAX? on: October 14, 2017, 04:20:45 PM
Btcheat.com is a legit or only hoax? Please give some clarify becuase i feel that this is like a phising site   Undecided
This site is trending now in the bitcoin groups I joined in FB, and it seems that this is the latest craze because I saw many users of it. Actually, I haven't try it yet because I'm busy in my signature campaign so I don't know if it is a legit site or a hoax. But I've read some posts in FB about their withdrawals from Btcheat but I still doubt because it's hard to imagine that they can earn so big by just clicking and in a very short period of time only!

If I were you, you should not try for now. Just monitor it first and wait for testimonies coming from the users stating if it's really a hoax or not, or try to look at the reviews for this site so that you can prevent wasting of time and effort.
3231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many ways are there to earn bitcoins? on: October 14, 2017, 04:36:36 AM
Recently, I've been trading bitcoins on btc-e, earning only a little, yes, very little, except the fees that btc-e takes.

Besides trading, are there any good method to earn bitcoins?   Thanks.
These are the methods I knew on how to earn bitcoins:

1. Bitcoin Mining - here, you need a hardware and set up it to mine bitcoins. If you don't have a hardware, you can try cloud mining where you can also earn bitcoins but you first deposit a certain amount of btc.
2. Bitcoin Faucets - these are sites where you can claim free satoshis every minute or hour. Examples of these sites are Moonbitco.in, Bonusbitco.in etc.
3. Trading - these method is the exchanging of one cryptocurrency to another and vice versa. (You already knew this)
4. Investing - here, you need to invest bitcoins in a certain platform and wait for it to make a profit.
5. By completing surveys and tasks - there are some sites that offers tasks and surverys then they give bitcoins as a reward.
6. Gambling - you can understand from the word itself. This is like the usual gambling you knew but here the bets are bitcoins instead of fiat money.
7. By playing games - these are real, you can earn by playing games. The best example for this are bitcoin bots on Telegram.
8. By joining signature and bounty campaigns - you can earn bitcoins by joining signature and bounty campaigns here in bitcointalk.org (in the "Service" section to be more specific).
3232  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Goverment is not recommending to use digital currency such a bitcoin? on: October 14, 2017, 02:28:15 AM
Yesterday I red article regarding digital currency. The article aim to discourage us in using digital currency as these currency is not recognize by our country moneytary institution. What do you think is the reason why  some goverment are discouraging its citizen to use digital currency? Any thoughts.....
I think the main reason why government of a cretain country do not support bitcoins is basically because they cannot control it, that's why they disencourage the people to use it.

For example, let's say that the use of cryptocurrency is legal in a particular country what do you think will happen? I'm sure that laborers in different industries will prefer bitcoin as their salary instead of fiat money because it has no income tax. Everyone will also prefer to use digital wallets instead of storing their money in banks because it's faster and more practical. If all these happens, where the government will get their funds for their projects? None!

Governments do believe that their eonomy will fall down because of bitcoins
3233  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Are Now Used in Crimes on: October 13, 2017, 11:44:12 AM
This is not new to me, actually I discovered bitcoins by reading articles about deep web. I've read that the way of payment in deep web is through bitcoins because it's untraceable and it's fast when used in different transactions. These special characteristics of bitcoins makes the bad people feel comfortable to do their wrong deeds because they already know that it's very hard for the police authority to chase them. The other reason why divers use this is because they want to avoid personal meet ups because it will compromise their anonymity if they do.

This is the sad truth about bitcoins, that it can be also used to harm others. I hope governments find ways to stop these illegal actions.
3234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia banning BTC? on: October 13, 2017, 08:23:44 AM
Before, China and now, Russia? Every country was threatened and seems scared to what bitcoins can do, this is positive for me in a sense that bitcoins was so powerful that it can even affect the government of a certain country but at the same time this is a little bit alarming because the opponents of bitcoin do everything in order to bring it down due to its popularity. I hope every country can see the true potential of cryptocurrency and stop opposing it.

I hope this news won't happen. Well, this is just an speculation after all. I will only believe if Russia states something regarding this.
3235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Die Because of China? on: October 13, 2017, 06:53:55 AM

I guess the best answer to that question is of course a BIG NO! Granted, China is a big contributor for the rise and adoption of Bitcoin and they are primarily the country involved with Bitcoin mining due to very cheap electricity cost.

Now, the Chinese government has its own agenda and I think in the long run Bitcoin can be running against those agenda so they are now thinking of slowly disengaging and disconnecting their citizens away from the cryptocurrency platform.

I know that whatever China will decide on the impact can be heavy on the market and this is shown with the recent decision banning the ICO projects and the unconfirmed total ban of Bitcoin exchanges though it is still a rumor and nobody would want to confirm.

Can cryptocurrency still go on and have a very optimistic future even without China as part of the equation?
I'm glad that you know the right answer to your question. I agree with you that Bitcoin will not die because of China, yes it's true that China plays a big part in bitcoins and they can affect the price of it but it doesn't mean that the future of bitcoins only depend on them. China once become the reason of bitcoin's fall when they decide to ban ICOs in their country but yet bitcoin is still surviving and growing bigger until now, it only shows that bitcoin can withstand even without China.

So stop worrying and just believe to the power of bitcoin.
3236  Other / Off-topic / Re: What wallets do you use? on: October 12, 2017, 04:32:24 PM
Which one suits you the most?
I'm using Coins.ph wallet because this is the widely used digital wallet here in the Phillipines. I also have a Coinpot wallet, it's a micro wallet where you can store the satoshis you claimed in bitcoin faucets (e.g. Moon Bitcoin, Moon Litecoin, Moon Dogecoin) then withdraw it when you reached the minimum amount of withdrawal.

I also have Coiinomi wallet and My Ether wallet for the backup just in case that I will store ethereum.

3238  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Inherit coins to my family after passed away on: October 11, 2017, 12:48:30 PM
The only one who know my coins investments, wallets, private keys, is me. So the question is how to inherit this information to my family? to give them privilege to access it after I passed away  Embarrassed.
It's too early too think of passing away because I'm too young , I want to enjoy my life to the fullest and use all the bitcoins that I earned to buy what ever I want.

But honestly, that idea also comes to my mind. If I we're given a chance to give the access in my bitcointalk.org account or other bitcoin related accounts, I will give it to my eldest son because I know that he can manage it well and I believe that he can make it more prosper than I did. But in order to become fair, I'll tell my eldest son not to become greedy and share the earnings to my othet child.
3239  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in the Philippines uproar on: October 10, 2017, 11:41:13 PM
Here in the Philippines, the growth in the knowledge about bitcoin is drastically exponential. Could bitcoin possibly influence the improvement and advancement of the Philippine's economical status? In what aspects?
Yes it's true! That the number of Filipinos (like me) engaging to bitcoins are rapidly increasing and that's a good thing. Here in our country, we can freely use btc without giving any restrictions coming from our government ( hopefully it continues) that's why each of us are now starting to earn and uplift our life status.

Well, bitcoins will definitely provide a great impact in our economy but the question is, does our government will allow this idea of cryptocurrency?
3240  Economy / Economics / Re: Which one is good, trading or investing? on: October 10, 2017, 02:35:17 AM
i had about $200 worth of bitcoin.
How can i earn more with that amount?
should I trading? or make an investment?
and please give me some trusted site to investing my wealth.

**i dont want to give a loan, or else.**

if you had some advice, feel free to tell me.
really apreciate it.
thank you.
There are two similar things both trading and investing have: first, it gives you a big profit and second, these are both risky. But the best choice for me among the two is trading because here you only need to always keep an eye to the latest exchange rates of cryptocurrencies, if you failed then you will lose money so you must become skillful here to make a profit. While on investing, you only need to deposit your btc and wait for it to earn, this is very risky because there are lot of scams spread around that may victimize you so make sure that you will choose the legit one.

But in the end, it's your choice, just be careful to every steps you made. Good luck Smiley
