3221  Economy / Economics / Re: I heard a rumor that OPEC will go 300 USD / barrel this year on: March 26, 2022, 07:36:05 PM
I've thought 200 dollars a barrel was going to happen sometime sooner or later anyway but removing Russia supply makes it quite reasonable.   I dont know 300 is especially realistic beyond a spike but in any case the Russia oil will leak out somewhere just like Iraq oil did similar a long time ago, its not likely that we do not see the oil at all just that supply is restricted and done with reduced price for type probably.   Certainly we are in a period of extended high price oil, not sure these higher price targets happen exactly eg. usa has alot of spare capacity etc.
3222  Economy / Economics / Re: Could russia be the 1st to embrace a petro BTC on: March 26, 2022, 06:55:01 PM
Its more likely that Russia would trade for goods required in exchange for oil rather then require BTC.    The main thing is does Russia hold BTC as a reserve currency, at least one country does but so far its not in mainstream exchange back and forth international to settle trade balance.   I think Russia would need to then make BTC legal tender and allow taxes payable in BTC and so on, I think the current environment is probably changing their mind forever with regards to banning it but I doubt they do make it a reserve asset.

The over 2.5 seems pretty juicy as well knowing all of their series ended up in all three maps but all of BIG's series went under though.

14 rounds either team first map, seems like the 3 maps outcome is a good choice.   Good side bet hedge type thing worth taking for me :p

Yea this is going to OT as Big rush around with simple SMG vs rifles and do just fine.    Not going to be an easy win if that keeps happening.
3224  Other / Archival / Re: What is holding back the price of bitcoin now? on: March 26, 2022, 01:38:26 AM
The recent highs for BTC are near to the 50 week average which is not resistance but indicative of a full price recovery from the lows.   We are bullish I think, we had a good reaction previously to the 50 day average as on this chart and its risen since passing that:

So long as we maintain above the 50 day average it should mark general bullish action.   I would not state price action as being held back but developing over time.
3225  Economy / Speculation / Re: If Russia goes full Bitcoin adoption on: March 26, 2022, 12:38:32 AM
Russia will accept Bitcoin for energy exports apparently and also likely gold too - https://twitter.com/disclosetv/status/1507016592722259985

This isnt full adoption but a bit of a reversal as they did not favor BTC otherwise normally.   I think BTC is moderately bullish but also challenged for this year rather then expecting any breakout near term.   We are just about at the yearly average so its relatively neutral in the larger perspective at this time.   Later it might develop further and we can guess BTC becomes a breakout scenario but imo its not occurring immediately as there is not going to be any full adoption only in parallel to a variety of trades done and since China is the largest entity and has dismissed BTC it will be largely other currency imo.
3226  Economy / Speculation / Re: Expect Bullrun this year again! on: March 26, 2022, 12:31:07 AM
Every target is realistic in the right circumstances but we cant just guess higher, there has to be some clue to think such things will happen now especially.   Look for progression and confirmation in events, in price action etc.
In future much higher prices might occur but right now I think we merely consolidate which to me is quite positive by itself as it helps confirms the prior rise as valid long term not a bubble or empty rise as many label BTC continually.    Put simply the more volume that occurs at any price the greater its confirmation a bit like the blocks themselves Smiley
3227  Economy / Speculation / Re: Terra cofounder Do Kwon is the one who is pumping Bitcoin on: March 25, 2022, 11:34:11 PM
Slightly wary of any large purchase being put through like this where it could turn out to be leveraged at all. It means it can reverse in future possibly.    I far prefer organic growth where price correlates to natural population rise in BTC ie. where the Bitcoin is being bought by an extra million people this I find to be far more bullish then one rich guys words and projected usage of BTC.
To me BTC will always be about the bits not big buyers.
3228  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: March 25, 2022, 02:49:53 PM
I watched that game, I cant believe BIG couldnt close it out but I should know better I've seen some classic chokes in CS over the years.   I wasnt sure they'd win the series but not getting just 3 more rounds is tragic as hell, I was going to close my bet out live odds probably dam.   I thought it was Gambit who were slipping for whatever reason jeez

Anyway nice clip from Liquid Naf where he uses the defusing CT to body block pistol shots and proceed to kill both CT players in front of him.   He has always been an exceptional player in interesting ways, good to see he is still up there: https://clips.twitch.tv/EnchantingLazySandwichCoolCat-wv-B-Atc9BpFvxC1

I got 9x odds on a multi and Im not even sure its super risky.   Probably cant win as it requires upsets but I thought it possible and nice as hell if it did so just for fun had to do it Cheesy #
Movi win next 2 games because I liked how they played the other day and then just Liquid over Astro and Players over Godsent.
3229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Largest Slots Win in Washington State History on: March 25, 2022, 02:43:49 PM
I just watched someone win 22.5 million dollars worth of BTC on a crypto casino yesterday.   Kinda amazing that win is 10x this one though that operation is global not just state wide.   That was also slots and also a large part of the winnings is previous betting over a year with very high 1k bets per spin so the maximum payout was all in order considering but still incredibly lucky.
The clip of it for anyone who wants to watch, literally the whole screen was the Wild bonus: https://www.twitch.tv/trainwreckstv/clip/SmilingInquisitiveReubenImGlitch-kxaSlFv26JhL5qkW?filter=clips&range=24hr&sort=time

45k is top of the range thats why its a bit deceptive.   Didnt feel like a great bet to me though its most likely to just go sideways and be quite calm.   Depends how much of the price is speculators who will now take profits for the weekend and close out leveraged bets.   Generally I dont expect a sell but I was not enthusiastic this time around, being positive the target upside would be about 48k as its a very widely watched 200 day average.   The most simple take on BTC price at any time is we will return to this average over time even amidst gloom or hype, so this recovery is on par.
3231  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price. on: March 24, 2022, 11:59:46 PM
War probably helps the usage of BTC if anything, it emphasizes the extraordinary.  I had the same reaction to the first reports of the deadly flu occurrence though it appears negative at first, in fact the distance especially and just general disruption was a bullish case for something like BTC and it quickly proved to be quite true.

I think one of the observable rules is that altcoins “overreact” - in other words they (usually) follow the movement of bitcoin price, just in slightly more “hysterical” way.
Eth is of course a very mature coin, with a huge support, team, community etc, but still btc is number 1.

Thats listed as BETA when it comes to stocks, most simply put a smaller entity can move more freely then an index and in this comparison BTC would be the index as so many alts are in exchange to that worth and rough sentiment I guess; though ETH is actually massive but still it will move up faster then BTC in the right bullish environment I think.       ETH has an alteration to its protocol which will favor and reward retention which should be bullish also, my general take for a while on ETH is its not to be sold but I dont know it'll go up alot but think its worth the gamble :p

Impressive, education and school is important to society as a whole so good to hear Smiley

Plinko is a game I first studied in my maths classes btw, cant get more classic its ancient also I've seen it on TV gameshows as well the traditional fairground sideshows etc.   Its a game you could discuss with anyone doing maths as their major pretty sure, all gambling has a relation to probability studies imo.

Was just watching a Twitch streamer play on Stake and he maxed out the full screen Wild bonus on his slot play.   Thats beyond rare but he does play alot so he was inline for some good luck to say the least.   Biggest win I ever saw or heard of even so posting to the thread so you get the details with the timestamp etc.     He wins max on the 2nd free spin which means the game just exits him from any remainder free spins as its impossible to win anything beyond that slot limit but you can hardly complain with the result, even a tenth of that amount would be a good win.
3234  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC over 50k? on: March 24, 2022, 01:43:57 PM
BTC price at present is top of its range which could lead to disappoint or a breakout possibly.   The reason I would not side with 50k is that we have yearly averages just    overhead at 45k and 48k for 200 day average.    Those are indicators not literal resistance but they are widely watched and quite reasonable to expect we have further selling around that area.   50k isnt on the table yet, when everything is setup it will become more likely we go ahead but for now its an outlier and in this month I dont expect a spike just yet.
TA tries to allocate probabilities, thats all we can say thats its improbable at this time.
3235  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is Cryptocurrency banned in my country? How it ACTUALLY works. on: March 24, 2022, 01:23:50 PM
The principal reason would be taxes I suppose and avoiding tax can mean jail time (even if this is not your intent its their perception of your association) so its best to be careful in your interests.   I agree its best to just to use BTC true its nature which is peer to peer not via any registered company, if you keep yourself low key like that I imagine you would avoid >90% of the negative attention that might be drawn otherwise.   Some people change their jurisdiction because of these restrictions, if you are involved everyday then thats probably for the best rather then avoidance minute to minute.

People are stronger then governments, we allow them not vice versa but thats as a group dont take a 1 man fight.
3236  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: March 24, 2022, 12:09:45 PM
ex-gambit vs moviestars and mov doing very well I thought at least at the start of the map and unfortunately they have stalled into indecision which allows hobbit and company to dice them up, still are doing well relatively.   ex-gambit just failed to count the timer correctly and missed bomb plant end round by couple seconds handing over the round, thats really not ok for a top team think I avoid this team from now on considering the odds were 91% for them .   Also Bluejays from North Macedonia yesterday was a surprise result to me over Copenhagen Flames.
I put a multibet between gambit taking first map and liquid's match later going into 3 maps.
3237  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price stay above $40000? on: March 23, 2022, 10:41:35 PM
There is a series of lower highs on the daily bars for this year thus far which has to be defeated as a possible trend.   If this recent high holds and we do not defeat that relative high then it could be seen a reason to be more cautious.

I think the uptrend is stronger but its best not to assume any pattern observable is not going to hold so the overlying series of lower prices on this irregular pattern will need to be tested and we'll at that point find out how solid it is.  Usually any trend does initially have some sell before later being exceeded by continued buying if we do prove to be bullish over this week for example.
3238  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin bounce back to 60k in this year? on: March 23, 2022, 03:19:43 PM
Good progressive steps up recently, despite Dollar strength BTC has been acting well I think.  If dollar were weak it would reveal this hidden bullish element most likely.   We are however at the top of the range for BTC shown this year and so within a trade its best to be cautious as to a reversal possibility around here is best I guess.

3239  Economy / Speculation / Re: No strength in Bitcoin in higher time frames on: March 22, 2022, 11:53:19 PM
The highest time frame I can refer to is the Dollar index which is made up of all the largest FIAT measures in the world.   If we have strong dollar we are unlikely to see many gains in BTC especially, though its still possible it would be uphill

The trend over many years for DXY is downwards but not aggressively so and the range within that trend is very large as we swing between lows and highs.  Presently Dollar is high in fact its exceeded this multi year trend shown here in the brighter blue.  This was a top price observed twice on this chart until the recent war and higher oil price seen during war action.  With the possible NATO, EU and Russian aggression occurring which is the largest war in Europe for some decades with greater contagion possible hence risk aversion has been in influence.  However all currencies continue to be weak despite that pullback in speculative flows and commodities are still booming relatively, I consider BTC to be quite similar to a commodity though its a unique asset.

tl;dr   If you want higher BTC consider the denominator, we really need to observe DXY sub 97 daily weekly then you may see actual greater gains on higher time frames and possibly outside prior boundaries.

You get interest anyway but the bonus amount it increases in your example at the top tier is like 0.1 BTC so yea it is worth it to people with alot of BTC or also anyone who does gamble alot would get the cashback benefit and its worth it to them too.   Anyone else my more humble compadres the spins part of the benefit would be a larger component of why its worth holding, so thats more reliant on luck then exactly calculable but I think on some timeline its worth having for any regular user of the site.
