3221  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Giving up gambling is not easy on: June 22, 2017, 09:21:22 AM
people think that gambling is easy but gambling need some stratigy and skills i think it is not easy .
That really depends on what you're playing though... You can have all the skills in the world to play dice and roulette, but the long term outcome will be a loss, unless you're really lucky and win it big and never play again afterwards.

With skill based games like poker (against other players) and to a certain extent, sportsbetting, I agree that skill and good strats can give you an edge.
3222  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: For sports bettors on: June 22, 2017, 09:17:31 AM
I usually do not bet on more than one event per day, just because I don't usually do sportsbetting, I occasionally place a bet when there's a big football (soccer) event.

When I do bet, I bet on different things, generally on the outcome of the match and on how many goals will be made.
Haven't won too much though, but it makes the match way more fun to watch.
3223  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the best bankroll? on: June 22, 2017, 08:24:22 AM
To see the most reliable casino you need to login into each of them and watch for a while the recent bets list. The casino with more bets per seconds is the most reliable to invest your bitcoins, because it's the most played casino.
I think there are some good casinos to invest, you can choose one of them or few of them and start investing, good luck.
Are you being serious? That's just plain bad advice, the number of bets per second has nothing to do with whether a Casino will make a profit or not or if it's trustworthy (also think about bet size, total amount wagered per day, month). Picking a popular casino that practices bad bankroll management could be a very very bad choice.

Sure, picking a popular casino is one small part of choosing a good site to invest on, but there are many other factors you'd need to look out for.
Haven't you seen that graph on the first page of this thread? That gives you a pretty good overview of what casino's are interesting for investments.

If you like steady profits without much risk, Crypto-Games is clearly the way to go... Stats don't lie.
3224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: $1000 where to invest on: June 22, 2017, 08:16:49 AM
So many people are advising you to also invest in Bitcoin, but with only $1000 to invest, I'd personally not do that.
I wouldn't invest in Bitcoin for any less than $5000 and even that is on the low side, I'd say.

I would invest in a coin that's not on your list, LTC, if you have a look at their planned features for 2017, I'd say there's a very good chance that you'd see another big rise the next couple of months.

3225  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is happening ? = all coins down by 20 to 35 % on: June 22, 2017, 08:11:32 AM
This is why people can earn money from altcoin trading. If those ups and downs would not happen then there wouldn't be any profit for altcoin traders. Many people earning good money from trading. No need to be busy about the reason why alcoins drop better buy whenever they drop sell whenever they up.

Altcoin market is more riskier compare with bitcoin trading as we know that their value extremely volatile.
But for some point , people may have advantage from altcoin trading but not many people able to obtain big profit from as my friend also experience this.
Yeah, if you compare Bitcoin with all other altcoins, but I think that if you just stick with the top 10 altcoins on Coinmarketcap, the risk is similar to that of Bitcoin.

Actually, the value of those altcoins is pretty tied to the value of Bitcoin, meaning that when Bitcoin prices you down, altcoin prices follow suit.
3226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What functions would you add to the existed bitcoin cards? on: June 22, 2017, 08:07:29 AM
Having much lower fees would be great, but I guess that's not really a new feature and it's been mentioned enough times in this thread.

Aside from that, I think it would be a great idea to add some sort of reward program that gives you points when you make use of your card.
So, you'd get points every time you make a purchase or load BTC onto your card.

I don't know if this already exists or not, most credit cards do this, but haven't come across this in debit cards.
3227  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★Crypto-Games.net ★ 9 coins ★ 7 games ★ Since 2014 ★ Largest Crowdfunded Casino on: June 21, 2017, 08:27:30 PM
Hey, just a question....  How come theres no (or not as many) contests/prizes/giveaways/etc. for some of the other altcoins.....

I play mainly with Dash on the site, (well the majority, I also play with all of them pretty much), but there seems to be a lot more benefit to playing with ETH, and/or Bitcoins....

Any reason, or possibility of upcoming changes?

Just curious....

We will consider it.
Seconded, I'd also like to see some promotions with some other altcoins instead of the usual BTC, ETH and DOGE.
Just so you know that there's more demand for it.

Another lottery with other altcoins would also be nice! Seems like the current ones are starting to get pretty popular, so there might be room to start another one for Dash or something.
3228  Economy / Gambling / Re: Most trusted/transparent/reputable site for bitcoin poker? on: June 21, 2017, 08:23:42 PM
It's definitely America's Cardroom, they've been accepting Bitcoin payments for a pretty long time now and they're a pretty popular traditional poker site.

You can also use Netteller to deposit Bitcoin into Pokerstars afaik, at least here in Belgium it's possible, I know they have several localized websites, so this might not be an option in every country.
3229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why BILL GATES do not USE Bitcoin? on: June 21, 2017, 08:13:29 PM
What a freaking random question to ask... And you haven't even done any research about this whatsoever because if you did, you would have certainly found the Youtube video with Bill Gates talking about Bitcoin very positively.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r6mOUh_NY8M

Next time, at least do a simple search on Google Wink
3230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: can gambling give you lessons in life? on: June 16, 2017, 10:13:14 PM
There are a few lessons I learned from my experiences in gambling,

1. Don't be greedy
2. Don't gamble with money you don't own
3. Avoid any kind of addiction
4. The value of money
5. We will never win against the casino.

Just to name a few.

Come on, it's possible to win. Why are you spending time on a gambling forum and promoting a casino in your signature if you believe it's impossible to win?
The chances aren't 50%, but people are losing. I know usually 2 people have to lose for 1 to win, but let's accept the reality here, there are winners.
I think he just means that, in general, people will not win against the casino if you look at the long term results,
The casino definitely has better odds to win in the long term, but you can ofc also end up in profit against the casino if you have a streak of luck and just withdraw when you're up.

If you keep playing, it is pretty likely that you'd end up with a loss.
3231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats ur Favourite and most profitable coin until now on: June 16, 2017, 09:59:14 PM
Weirdly enough, it's been Dash for me if we're talking about highest all time profits.
I remember buying Dash at around $2.00 and selling when it hit like $30, made around 2300 dollars profit that day.

Still had some Dash in my wallet, which I forgot about until I saw that it hit $140, sold  all my Dash for 7500 dollars in total, I'd never been so happy that I forgot about something.

LTC has also been very good to me, around 2000 dollars in profit Smiley
3232  Economy / Exchanges / Re: COINBASE now seizing accounts of Americans on: June 16, 2017, 09:33:49 PM
I don't think Coinbase is going to be doing this randomly without any sort of investigation on their part, that'd simply be dumb and without any bit of reason when it comes to the law. If they were to be doing this sort of stuff, they'd probably face a ton of lawsuits and more and more regulations from state/federal governments which I highly doubt they're going to want. I think the people that are coming out saying that their accounts have been closed have actually done something shady / downright illegal with the money on their.

It's coinbases duty to ensure that nothing illegal is occuring with the money that could be laundered through them so they're really just protecting themselves.
I don't know about that... I've had a very negative experience with coinbase holding my funds and closing my account after a couple of days because I made a deposit to a Bitcoin casino.
Just look for stories from other users that have encountered the same. I will personally never use Coinbase again, I'll just stick with Kraken and Bitstamp.
3233  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your favorite game provider? on: June 16, 2017, 09:30:35 PM
For slot games it's definitely isoftbet for me, I just like their slot themes and I usually pick out casino's that offer their games.
Aside from that, I'm also a big fan of custom developed games specifically on Bitcoin casino's, you just don't find those kind of games on traditional casino's.

I'm talking about the games that Crypto-games, Bitsler and Bitcoinvideocasino offer.
3234  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Monthly Best Gambling Site (June 2017) on: June 16, 2017, 09:18:27 PM
Come on, I think it's really time for Crypto-games to take a win since they''ve been in the top 3 practically every month now, but never got first place in the last few months!
I obviously voted for them again because it's a great site to play on, friendly owners and moderators and they've just added a new game, Plinko.
3235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice Websites on: June 16, 2017, 09:14:32 PM
I can recommend Crypto games, they have a really good dice game and they're really trusted.
On their dice game, they have a 0.8% house edge, which is one of the lowest you'll find.

Some sites have a lower house edge, but might not be as trusted as Crypto-Games Smiley

Seuntjies dice bot also supports it btw!

Try out their faucet if you want to test it.
3236  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is Complete Garbage!!! on: June 16, 2017, 09:08:55 PM
There is nothing wrong with a little controversy. Bitcoin is an amazing achievement and technology, however there are some flaws still. The industry overall is very hot, so its healthy to bring it back down a bit at times.
Yeah, I hate it when people just blindly praise Bitcoin and fail to acknowledge it's flaws. Some people just glorify Bitcoin in a way that doesn't help anyone.
I ;ean, you see it often enough here on this forum that people will just flat out refuse to accept any criticism.

It's gotten a bit better since the fees are rising through the roof, that's an obvious flaw that affects almost everyone.
3237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cash is better than Bitcoin. on: June 16, 2017, 06:50:37 PM
This comparison are advantages aren't absolutely correct,
* Work offline 100%
and doesn't work online at all, Even CC and banks aren't cash

* No fees.
You still feel pay the fees, for buying from a supermarket, you pay taxes

* Accepted for Food Shopping & Micropayments
Non-online ones
* 0 confermations time
Indeed, but not usable online? and credit cards aren't "cash"

* 0 exchange risks
no, there is risk of counter-fitting

* anyone is able to understanding of the value of payment

BTC isn't rocket science, everyone can understand the basics needed to use it in quarter an hour.
Paying a sales tax isn't the same as paying fees on a Bitcoin transaction though...
You can buy something online with Bitcoin and you'd still have to pay the sales tax plus the Bitcoin fees, so I'd say you're incorrect on that one.
3238  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless society on: June 16, 2017, 06:31:59 PM
We mostly are in a cashless society now. Think about it. Almost every store or shop accepts credit cards, this was not the case 20 or 30 years ago.

When you go out to restaurants they have smart tablets at the table. You pay for your food through that with a CC at the end of it. The server doesn't have to come back and handle all that anymore in a lot of places.

You can buy almost anything online now, which requires cashess transactions.

Idon't think there is much left that isn't cashless, maybe beyond some small businesses. Cash is on its way out. People use direct deposit into their bank accounts.
You can still get everything done with cash. I mean sure, you can use your debit or credit card practically everywhere, but cash is still accepted and often prefered over paying by card.
I personally don't even have a credit card and never will, I'm against spending money that I don't have or that I'll have to pay back later.

Kinda difficult to book a hotel room without one, but still doable.

I kinda hope that cash sticks around for a while Wink
3239  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★Crypto-Games.net ★ 9 coins ★ 7 games ★ Since 2014 ★ New game added - PLINKO on: June 16, 2017, 06:14:41 PM
Is there any rule against using the Faucet to exclusively increase the waged amount of the account?
As long as you're using only one account, you're fine. Faucet abuse would be: claim faucet, max bet on high multiplier, withdraw, repeat.
But you wouldn't be able to continue after you withdraw, right? And I was wondering if the following scenario is considered abuse:

Faucet claim: 4800 Satoshis
Dice bet: 100 Satoshis on x75 multiplier
Buy lottery tickets with profit

That's how I've personally been using the faucet, but I also deposit fairly often as you can see in my account history Wink
That's not considered as farming, you're safe  Cheesy
Cool! It's honestly the best way to use the faucet imo, you see enough people winning that have bought less than 10 tickets Smiley

I can definitely recommend it to everyone, also increases the prizes for all of us.
3240  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people are asking you about Bitcoin now? on: June 16, 2017, 06:08:06 PM
Honestly, a lot. It even annoys me when someone comes to me just so he can make an argument that bitcoin is a ponzi scheme. I just want to disappear into thin air whenever that happens and it has happened to me a lot of time. You know that guy have never done enough research so you know you can never get a valid argument from him.

Bitcoin is becoming more and more popular because I introduced it to a lot of people on my area and some of them are already earning money. Some people want to ask me directly about bitcoins and have me explain it to them but I don't have the time for such thing. They can just research about it like how I did to learn about bitcoins.
I've also heard a lot of people just say pretty stupid stuff about Bitcoin, that it's a ponzi scheme is just one of them, like you mentioned.
The past couple of weeks there were a few articles in the local newspaper about Bitcoin and Ethereum and I was pretty surprised to see that most comments were pretty negative.

Usually stating that Bitcoin was a scam or that it's not a good idea to buy Bitcoins.
