3226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][FIND] FindCoin | Community Anti-Scam Token | Faucet Distribution on: December 29, 2014, 04:02:57 PM
Just wanted to say that i have received exchange coins yesterday and findwallet is working great Smiley

PS: Can't remember which page of this thread, but i remember reading something about "cheaters" having multiple wallets etc. Is this fixed or are there still ways to cheat with the distribution? Would hate to see that someone has like 100 wallets with only 1 pc Sad

I've posted that topic about Proof of faucet concept and I warned the FindCoin devs about it. Don't worry, it's fixed. No one can run multiple wallets on a pc. So it's reliable now.

Basically it was about proxies. Findcoin doesn't support proxy and it's source code closed till the distribution over (no one can re-build it with proxy enabled).
3227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How in the FUCK are you supposed to know what's legit? on: December 29, 2014, 03:14:35 PM
If there's IPO/ICO it's 99.99% percent scam.
If there's more than 0.1% premine it's scam.
If there's not a roadmap, what's done so far, it's scam.
If it was instamined it's scam.
If the ANN topic is self moderated it's probably scam.

There're lots of other things, you need to check out the whole ann page to understand it.

3230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Core 0.10.0 has been released on: December 28, 2014, 11:45:18 AM
do we nneed to install it or it will update by its self?

There's no auto updater inside the core wallet, You've to manually upgrade it.
Also this wallet is a test version. It's not fully released yet. Check it's name; "release canditate".
3231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Core 0.10.0 has been released on: December 28, 2014, 11:34:41 AM
I'm installing it now! Thanks for hardworking guyz!
3232  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Urgent question!!! on: December 28, 2014, 11:17:32 AM
Just use a desktop wallet, You can use multibit or electrum but I recommend bitcoin core wallet.

Transfer your all funds from blockchain wallet to desktop wallet. Probably they'll steal your new password etc (because you got trojan or sth else).

You're collecting e-mail addresses. Why?
Are you gonna spam us?
Till the escrow agreement can you sign a btc address?
3234  Other / Off-topic / Re: Can Cyptocurrency Eliminate DoS attacks? on: December 28, 2014, 11:09:31 AM
Nope.

There's nothing to stop DoS attacks yet. DDoS'ers probably attack to the miners. Let's say; those miner pools stratum servers etc will be DDos'ed this time and blocks can't be found...

3237  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: New "Faucet" on: December 28, 2014, 10:23:47 AM
Nice way to collect lots of crypto-world releated e-mail addresses then when we start to get tons of spams; you're not releated with them right?
Just use faucetbox etc. Or never be trusted...

Nice catch dude!

Don't trust those "unexperienced" exchange runners. They'll scam you as soon as they reach their target BTC...

I voted for DRK.

Also I'm thinking to invest in DRK to set up a masternode. DRK will be a major coin...
