3221  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Give me some investment advice on: September 03, 2021, 02:10:15 AM
I will use about 80%(About $2000 per day.) of my funds every day to invest in cryptocurrencies.

Can you give your suggestions? For example, 20% btc futures, 20% altcoin, 60% btc spot.

And how are your funds allocated?

Depends on your knowledge and risk management, you can do everything you want.

But take note of your capability or are do you really want to do that or just following others? Can you handle the stress of managing several assets at the same time? Can you handle the risks of putting money on several baskets?

If not, better stick with Spot trading either with BTC or your chosen altcoins. That's the stage where you can test several strategies.
3222  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Metaverse x Gambling on: September 03, 2021, 12:28:42 AM
How is it really any different from the loyalty/vip programs other sites offer? It's all the same IMO just in a different way.

The difference is, there's a touch of NFT here something that is different compare to the usual poker gambling site. And by going in daily challenges or daily tasks, players will earn ICE tokens as a reward.

I'm not just sure though where these tokens can be sold later on. Still exploring the site at the moment.
3223  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: September 02, 2021, 11:54:05 PM
There are rumors that LaMarcus Aldridge is going to return to the NBA next season.

At this point, I doubt. Just look at how he quickly decides to retire because of his irregular heart beating concern last season instead of going just to recovery period but still part of the team. That creates panic and mental stress to him so right away, he retires officially without hesitation. If he will play again, the same scenario might happen again even he is healthy because he already knows the feeling of being under stress.

But who knows though that he's now finally overcome it after several months. But as far as the current rumors about him are concerned, there is no hint coming from him itself that he is really interested to play again. All is that, he was just being cleared as healthy to come back playing at the league.
3224  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker casino but need KYC, is this really necessary? on: September 02, 2021, 11:45:38 PM
actually the implementation of kyc carried out by casinos is not a bad thing if indeed the casino is a trusted casino and gets an official license from the government, I think the kyc rule is a decision from the authority of a country to prevent money laundering from players on the site, all sites those who have gambling licenses from reputable organizations must follow the rules for verifying player accounts, so that the government can properly supervise the site and the players.

It's not convenient as new users will also have to comply with that. If let's say all reputable gambling sites that are mostly used today will implement KYC, you have to deal with KYC at each and that's not good for a regular gambler who plays at different sites.

It will also affect the promotion of the site as no one will test a site if there's a KYC before you can play there. Like a player that will test a small $ to play on the site but can't do it because it needs KYC. Offering fun money won't work there too because the excitement will only be felt by real money gambling.

KYC should only be on fiat gambling because most fiat casinos accounts are linked with bank accounts that are more prone to money laundering.
3225  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Affiliates (Paid Streamers) - Fair or Not to other non-paid gamblers? on: September 02, 2021, 11:34:39 PM
Unfortunately, the popularity of gambling websites being affiliated by some streamers are widespread nowadays.

Why it became unfortunate? That's the usual way now of promoting certain services today not just on a gambling site. We can't do something about it if there are still streamers who are paying on their own to promote a site. The moment they entered the streaming industry, it's already obvious that they need to spend money first coming from their own pocket to build a reputation before getting the attention of the business owners e.g gambling site operators.

This creates a level of unfairness on the part of the viewers as this convinces them to gamble at a certain gambling website.

That was the goal, to convince people. And I don't know how it became unfair. At the end of the day, viewers have their own preference if they will gamble on that site or not.
3226  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The joy of trading the spot market on: September 02, 2021, 11:18:53 PM
I just started trading not that long now and I don't know why people doesn't always talk about Spot trading and how less risky it can be when compared to Future trading. I found more pleasure in spot trading that had given me peace of mind without bothering myself of the fear of losing trades. Although spot trading is not a get rich quick type of trading because I don't have to leverage, making it very slow to make good profits but best for me.

Spot trading and Future or you called it Leverage trading has a big difference so you can't really compare their earning possibilities. There is also no set of risk ratios here. As far as your trading progress is concerned then just keep it that way. Good for you that you are getting positive results on your spot trading.

However, you should not disregard the risks while being comfortable with your current doing. The reason I said that is because you mentioned that with spot trading, you are not bothering yourself with the fear of losing trades. There's no perfect trade, even the hardcore and professional ones, and there will be a chance that you will experience it later on. But because you are not bothering with it, that losing experience might affect your trading views.

Good luck then and just build experience.
3227  Economy / Economics / Re: New York Mayoral Candidates Turn to Crypto for Votes on: September 02, 2021, 11:00:16 PM

For a change, it's a different way to catch the attention of the people especially if New York is full of crypto geeks and there are stores established that accept crypto as a payment method.

With that, people there will think that crypto is getting attention from the officials and wants to make it good.

I don't see anything wrong there. But as always in every election, expect that some "promises are made to be broken" if you know what I mean. Smiley
3228  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: September 02, 2021, 10:48:46 PM

Working on my tough decision at the moment too as like others here, I want to risk some for the DYIP.

Not because I'm expecting them to make an upset again but I saw how they bounce back aggressively on their first win on the conference against the Beermen. I don't know though if they can repeat it as BGSM is also one of the considered top teams in the league and Standhardinger is on fire before the conference got temporarily suspended. However, BGSM has a habit of even in a large lead, they always spoiled it at the end.

Base on the boxscore - https://pba.ph/recap?match=1902612.. Ravena did not anymore play in this game.

He is currently in a quarantine period. If only there's no need to that he can join the team right away. Imagine, he only needs a day to process the requirements but because there's a mandatory quarantine, he needs to stay there long and another one once he came back here.
3229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: September 02, 2021, 10:31:26 PM
If there's a better fight then I don't think fans will still be interested in this one, we clearly saw what Inoue did with Donaire on their first encounter, so there's no reason for a rematch,

If you see it clearly then you will say there should be a rematch. Try to watch it again. Inoue received lots of damage in their fight and the first time in his career despite Donaire is already aging. There will be no rematch if Inoue pulverized Donaire without any problem.

A rematch is necessary to finally settle who's the most dominant between them.
3230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Spain bans betting adds - no celebrities, no sport sponsorship, no daytime adds on: September 02, 2021, 10:21:02 PM

Like to point out this one:

"It claims that athletes' status as role models had led to an increase in gambling among young people aged 18 to 25, rising from 29 per cent to 40 per cent in the last four years. The amount of money spent by young people in Spain on gambling, meanwhile, had risen by 13 per cent annually."

I don't see the negative effect of it but 18-25 years is already an adult stage. They already know what they are doing and matured enough to be responsible for gambling. If that's only the reason why such a ban was implemented, I don't see it can change the gambling status in that country. They should just be alarmed if stats are telling them that these people do have an irresponsible act in gambling.

And besides, the government, in general, are getting advantages too in the sports industry there. There are other ways to work on a plan of solving "serious health and social risks" and they should brainstorm about it.
3231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to manage losses? on: August 31, 2021, 11:48:01 PM
how do you manage stress if you loss biggest amount because the value of your token is hitting down or NFT project is not ok?

I never lose a big amount since I'm doing precautionary actions if I anticipated that something not right will happen. For let's say I really losses big, then no choice but to accept it. I will take a break for at least a week then come back to action with peace of mind. Stress is really part of the game that's why I'd rather feel it instead of trying to avoid it. After all, we will soon recover and that bad experience is a foundation on our future decision.

in your opinion how diversify your investment in other alts to cope up your losses?

That's a tough work as not all altcoins are having the same behaviour. And even you will follow some other portfolios, your approach will be different to them. Try to make a self-analysis about some recent performing coins. That will be your assignment.
3232  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: August 31, 2021, 03:01:48 PM

Update sa kaso ko, nakuha na ng kapatid ko yong pera, all he did was registered that number to coins.ph and he said that it only takes a day to be verified, dahil siguro may mga valid IDs siya pero inu-unti unti nya yong pera sa pagpapadala to his other account, hindi isang bagsak.

Swerte mo bro di hassle kasi sa inyo iyong number.

In my case, nasend ko sa ibang number. Sabi ni coins.ph, 5 days after babalik din automatically if di registered.
3233  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: August 31, 2021, 01:58:51 PM

Just saw on my newsfeed that PBA will now resume the All-Filipino Cup tomorrow.

And I think the game schedule was modified. Even games are mostly triple-headers, there are no back-to-back games which is good as teams can rest a day before a match. Only the NorthPort Batang Pier will not have games this week in accordance with the health and safety protocols of the league.

Hoping there will be no more interruptions so that the conference will now run smoothly.
3234  Economy / Gambling / Re: Need to contact Daniel of Bustabit on: August 30, 2021, 11:56:46 PM
Have you tried the contact form on https://bustadice.com/contact ? There is an email address as well.
Also, their on-site chat is quite active, so you might be able to reach an administrator or one of the moderators who may be able to assist you.

OP is having a hard time sending an email. Emailing their provided email shouldn't have any errors or what. I don't know why OP is unable to send them an email.

I just have to say too that he can take chances on the chatbox as in most cases, there are site representatives lurking there. Give it a try, OP.
3235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker casino but need KYC, is this really necessary? on: August 30, 2021, 11:01:04 PM
I still don't see a good reasons why a Gambling site will require KYC which is unnecessary for me cause gambling activities should not be taken seriously like exchanges that requires kyc for the protection of others users which can be scammed or use of fake alert and other illegal activities. KYC can be sold to third party paltforms which can be used against a user if necessary info of the user is gotten. Kyc is a vital information of a person which should not be disclosed to third parties mistakenly or not.

It's not about a gambling site because, in most fiat bookies, KYC is required.

What we are pointing here is, KYC shouldn't be necessary requirement for a crypto-gambling site. That's the purpose why we choose crypto in our gambling experience, to "partially" stay and keep our anonymity.

However, KYC might be valid at some point for crypto-gambling sites if the account has an alarming issue as it can help solve a problem of scam-related issues like sites can detect where the funds ended up once there's a complainant reporting a scam. But in that case, we should already accept the risks that scam in crypto is likely not to be solved in most cases.
3236  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Affiliates (Paid Streamers) - Fair or Not to other non-paid gamblers? on: August 30, 2021, 10:36:55 PM
Syztmz (Streamer not using Affiliate money) had a heated discussion on his last Stream about him having to compete with his own money, against Affiliate Streamers that are using Casino money. ( I think he lost something like $100 000 on his last 13 hour stream session )

Kind of curious here. If he had some concerns like that since then why still risk that big amount of money for the sake of playing on the specific site if there's something wrong with the system that has already been on his mind for long.

I think he can easily make partnerships with gambling sites knowing his influence and a good number of followers. He didn't try it before but instead, wait for proposals to come?

Anyways, can you provide the link to that content? I want to watch it for me to learn some more details and information.
3237  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: August 30, 2021, 10:24:18 PM
but they should rebuild the name by getting a star player like Lebron James to gain the support of the fans again.

Sounds simple lol.

They acquired Lebron James thru the draft. There's no reference to seeing if a player will be like a Lebron 2.0 in the future.

If the Cavaliers will rebuild they should expand their space cap and used it to target big fish, at least. They are even always out of the trading picture once a big name appears or is rumored to be traded.

They are not joining the wave maybe because they will rely on their future draft picks. Being a team on the bottom, they will always have a good chance of picking a good and hype player at the rookie draft. Hope they can catch good rookies.
3238  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Casimero Bantamweight Unification Fight on: August 30, 2021, 10:08:47 PM

After all, it's not just about the odds but since most people in this thread are Pinoy, a pick mostly for Casimero is likely to happen here.

Sometimes, we are disregarding the real strength of any PH opponents because of solid support. As in my case, I really see Inoue winning over Casimero for a 70% chance but of course,  since I want to support Casimero I will disregard that. Besides, I really like to take a risk on high odds even at any other sports so will put some bucks for Casimero to win the fight.

But before that, this match doesn't have any progress until now. Currently, what we just read is rumors and speculations.
3239  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Credit card bans introduced in Ireland. on: August 30, 2021, 08:20:10 PM
If they are banning credit cards, what about debit or prepaid cards? They have also not mentioned anything about payment processors and how the ban will affect the use of those.

Technically in most cases, debit cards should have an active balance funded by cardholders before can be accepted. Unlike in credit cards where people freely can pay anything as long as within their card limits and just pay it later on. Because of the convenience part of using credit cards, gamblers can deposit right away to start gambling.

Banning credit card purchases might be one of the best solutions to minimize gambling activities however there are no sources or statistics showing most gamblers are really using mostly their credit cards for in-game credits. And in general, gamblers do have lots of ways on their mind just to make it possible to gamble beyond their limitations.
3240  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: August 30, 2021, 01:30:50 PM
IMO, if Kiefer would just leave his team, I think they should not let him play anymore as he is not fully dedicated and he will not give his best since he will save his energy to the B league, also, there's a big risk that he will be injured and his dream might be compromised.

You have a point there but if NLEX will make a good rally this conference, I'm expecting Kiefer will give his full responsibility and commitment to the team. As mentioned in the article I shared recently, Kiefer can catch up with the team if NLEX will pass the elimination round.

NLEX by far is not expected to make at least in the playoffs by many, I believed. But if they will make it, Kiefer should not play relax but go all-in to somehow compensate his teammate's efforts that push forward. Unless he doesn't care for it or has no choice because of his future stint on Japan's B League although I'm sure he doesn't have that kind of personality.
