Islamabad is currently at 96 with 3 wickets down after 7 overs. They are scoring runs with a run rate of 13.4 while the required run rate is 6.55 at the moment. They got plenty of players left to bat yet, and they've played the perfect powerplay the team is in a very good position to win the game from here.

On the other side, it's a do-or-die situation for Quetta Gladiators today as it is a must-win match for them or they will be totally out of the race. But as it seems, they haven't been able to take the lead of the match so far, and if it continues this way, there will be no hope for them.
Islamabad United won the match and qualified for the next round , at one point match went in favour of Quetta Gladiators but Azam Khan changed the course of innings and his sixes changed the match.
Attached the end fours by Faheem Ashraf confirmed the Islamabad United victory.

Quetta Gladiators lost today's match against the stronger opponent Islamabad United but believe me they really fought hard in this match.
Remember at one time Quetta Gladiators were 17 for 4 wickets down and it seems that they would lose the match by a big margin but then Najibullah Zadran, Mohammad Nawaz, and Umar Akmal played a brilliant knock to get to the to the score of 179 runs.

Still they lost the match but that is part of the game.

1xbit is still very active in the forum and they casually have signature campaign here yet they are scam and keep ignoring all complaints on the ANN thread. Being active here is not a good basis. Only their reputation and good service history is the best criteria to spot good casino because they can always ignore complaints and make it looks like they are dealing it on public but the reality is just they are prolonging the case to make the user give up on the money.

I also wonder why there are still some members promoting their casino which is clear they are a scam casino and always harm anyone who registers and deposits money there.
Supposedly casinos like 1xBit have no more customers from these forum members but in reality there are still legit forum members who register to play with them and end up only losing money.
Even though we all always provide information and knowledge about several scam casinos, those who are still new to gambling and this forum still ignore all the advice and information that has been given and in the end are only disappointed and complain after being tricked by a scam casino.

There isn't any comparison between Owl and 1xbit.  Owl is still a well trusted site to gamble but 1xbit despite promoting their casino here, are one the shadiest and scam gambling site.

I still can't believe that they have decided to leave the forum. Maybe they are not happy with bitcointalk  Huh

The one-sided nature of the first ever WPL match reminds me of the first IPL match, that occurred way back in 2008. Back then it was Brendon McCullum of the Kolkata Knight Riders, who came up with a massive score of 158 not out from 73 balls. KKR made 222/3 and in return, the Royal Challengers Bangalore were bowled out for 82 runs. Victory margin was 140 runs. Yesterday it was Harmanpreet Kaur in the place of McCullum. The victory margin was eerily similar, at 143 runs. The difference is that yesterday it was not a one-man show. Hayley Matthews and Amelia Kerr also contributed to Mumbai Indians batting.

I just remembered that first match of IPL. After this match he did not have any big score throughout the first season if I remember it correctly.

I never ever thought that Harmanpreet Kaur would be so agressive yesterday. She scored 65 runs at the strike rate of over 200 percent. The noise generated by the crowd while she batted was simply unbelievable. I once felt I was watching an IPL match. Jio cinema made it more interesting to watch the first match with their graphics.

It was a total one sided match where Mumbai Indians Women scored a massive  207 runs and in the chase, Gujarat Giants Women were all out on 64 runs. Saika Ishaque took 4 wickets and only 11 runs were given by her.
However, the captain of  Mumbai Indians Harmanpreet Kaur was the player of the match as she scored 65 runs in only 30 balls.

Since, its the first ever IPL, we are yet to see which teams are strong and which teams are weak before deciding to bet on them.

Then why did you buy it during the last bull market? You buy because you believe in this project right? there should be specific reasons why you buy and believe in this project. Since the beginning of this project, I was actually skeptical about the journey that this project would go through. Indeed, I haven't specifically searched further, therefore I would like to know the opinion of $ICP holders.

There is no special reason why I bought this coin in the last bull season. I bought it along with many other coins because all the coins were pumping no matter what the price. I got stuck in this coin because it was dumped after my buying and never reached my buying price again.

I was also quite surprised when I saw the price comparison of ATH ($750) and the current price which is only around $5, how could this happen?

Anything can happen in the crypto world, there are coins which even go to zero, so expect the unexpected in this crypto world.
However i know this coin will never reach 750$ again but i would be happy if it reaches only 50$  Smiley
3226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many crypto wallets do you own? on: March 05, 2023, 01:07:46 AM
I think having a cold wallet that isn't connected to the internet plus numerous online wallets is a precaution everyone should take.
Why numerous online wallets? Isn't a single online wallet with small balance for daily use enough?

If you don't have a hardware wallet, then you can have multiple software wallets and divide your money between those wallets. You can do so in order to minimize the risk if any wallet gets hacked, all of your money is not lost. This is the only reason I see why people would be needing to hold more than one wallet.

Yeah, having multiple wallets comes with a cost that you need to keep save all those passphrases somewhere and not lose them.
3227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Withdrawal of ICP from Binance on: March 04, 2023, 05:34:57 PM

I don't see any great potential in this coin but the problem is that I bought this coin in the last bull market at the peak of the bull season and did not use any stop loss. Since I bought them at the spot, I am still holding them, hoping they will reach again to my buying price in the next bull run.

How much did you buy them for? I also bought some ICP at $40 during the 2021 bull run, and now it's a failed investment for me. Coincidentally I also store them in binance, but because of the low value, I don't want to withdraw them to my wallet. I didn't invest too much, and I don't care about it anymore, I thought it would have no chance of recovery, it was a failed project. If you don't hold them much, I think it's still safe to leave them in binance.

I bought them i guess nearly 20 to 25$ price. The problem is that ICP is 80-90% down from the price in the last bull run.

So, if you would invest 500$ in it, it will be worth less than 50$ now. So even if the price may seems down right now, if it reaches my buying price, it will be worth a reasonable money.

My reason for keeping my ICP still in binance is that i am unable to find a wallet to move them.
3228  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pakistan Super League #PSL Discussion Thread on: March 04, 2023, 05:15:19 PM
Today's Pakistan Super League match is between Multan Sultans and Lahore Qalandars.
Batting first, Lahore Qalandar collected 180 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. It can be called a fighting score in T20 cricket.
Multan Sultan batting against a target of 180 runs given by Lahore Qalandas has collected 36 runs without a wicket in five overs so far.
Multan sultan are now at 53 after loosing one wicket.
The current run rate in 7.40 while the required run rate in 10.11 - Sultan have to keep the pace according to the required run rate otherwise they can loose the match

The top two teams of the tournament, Lahore Qalandars, and Multan Sultans are playing in this match and at the moment it is hard to say who will win this match. Multan sultan has made 75 runs with three wickets down in 10 overs. Any team can win this match from here. If Multan can just play another 5 overs without losing wickets, they can be in a very good position to win this match.
3229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pakistan Super League #PSL Discussion Thread on: March 04, 2023, 09:07:52 AM
Karachi Kings are likely to be dropped at the moment, as well as Quetta Gladiators that have won only 1 out of 6 matches. Karachi Kings threw a target of 201 runs in the 19th match of Islamabad United VS Karachi Kings. They needed to win 42 runs from 24 delivery. Since there are still enough wickets, Islamabad will win the match. But probably we have to wait till the last ball of the match. However, those overs are very much important for the two teams. It will be difficult to decide in the moment who will be the winner of the match.

Yes it seems that both Karachi kings and Quetta Gladiators will finish fifth and sixth position and therefore they will be eliminated from this tournament.

Check their performances and both of them have won a total of 3 matches of the 14 (8+6) matches they played. Karachi kings have played 8 matches and won only 2 of them. Similarly, Quetta Gladiators have played 6 matches and won only 1.

Do not think that now the remaining matches will be of no use as the top 4 teams would qualify. No, the position of the teams does matter as the team that finishes with 1st or 2nd position will get a double chance in the playoffs while the team ending up 3rd and 4th with play a knockout game.
3230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Withdrawal of ICP from Binance on: March 04, 2023, 08:51:22 AM
Yeah I don't think Trust Wallet supports ICP. I don't have any personal experience with using an ICP wallet, but I found an article that may be helpful here. Based on that page, the popular custodial "wallets" are Stoicwallet and Plug. But then again, this is custodial so it'll be the same as storing your coins on Binance. If you want to self-custody, you can to use its NNS frontend dApp or a hardware wallet like Trezor and Ledger.

That is very strange as why trust wallet does not support ICP. Even an unstoppable wallet does not support ICP. I don't know what is the reason for this as both trust wallet and unstoppable wallet store thousands of coins, then why not ICP?

It's no use to transfer ICP to another centralized wallet, so guess I have only option to keep them in binance and hope that binance does not scam until the next bull market.

Sorry to be a little off topic, but I'm curious, why are you holding $ICP? do you see great potential in this coin?

I don't see any great potential in this coin but the problem is that I bought this coin in the last bull market at the peak of the bull season and did not use any stop loss. Since I bought them at the spot, I am still holding them, hoping they will reach again to my buying price in the next bull run.

3232  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: March 04, 2023, 05:31:10 AM
I agree with you that AI is improving its skills and algorithms every day. But they are just algorithms. The AI does not take into account the mood of the athletes, their injuries, their physical and mental condition. If you bet on sports, you must take these and many other parameters into account. AI is not able to do that, unlike humans.

Artificial Intelligence just have the old data with them and they take decision basis of that data. AI does not have real time data and therefore it is not possible to predict accurately  the outcome of the matches.
However, the amount of data which AI can process is beyond the capability of a human and therefore we can take help from AI predictions and also do some our own research on the current data / situation to refine that outcome.

I have some ICP on Binance and i want to withdraw it to my personal wallet.
Can anyone tell me which personal wallet support ICP (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/internet-computer/) as i can't withdraw it to the trust wallet  Huh

Due to the recent FTX hack, i withdraw almost all my coins to my personal wallet but this ICP is still left on balance. Also, note that i do not have a hardware wallet so my only options are desktop or mobile wallets.
3234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Advantage of holding Bitcoin in time of crisis on: March 03, 2023, 11:42:56 PM
Holding bitcoin during times of crisis can provide a sense of security and stability, as well as protection against inflation and other economic risks even though we know it is a highly volatile asset and its value can fluctuate rapidly, so it is not without risks. Besides as I saw this become an attractive option for some people because it is a decentralized, digital currency that is not subject to the same inflationary pressures as traditional fiat currencies --and the reason could be they can store and manage their bitcoin without the need for intermediaries such as banks or financial institutions. This can provide a greater sense of autonomy and independence when it comes to managing one's wealth. While still considering bitcoin may be a viable alternative for some people during times of crisis, it is important to carefully consider the potential risks and benefits before investing in it.

People argue that BTC is not a good store of value asset due to its high volatility. I do disagree but this comes with the contingent of knowing when to covert your BTCs into cash on the right opportunity and time.

One of the advantages of holding BTC in times of crisis is its value on the market. While it may not be stable compared to tangible assets like gold, expect its price to either increase/decrease depending on the current market status. This is also the reason on why the term HODLING was coined- keeping your assets until its value skyrockets in the future.

Time of bitcoin crashes are not meant to sell the bitcoin but to hold them or even buy more bitcoins if you have spare fiat or usdt.
If you are able to buy bitcoin in a bear market, you cannot imagine the returns which you will be post in a bull market.
Bear Markets are the perfect time to take entry in bitcoin and keep on holding it for the next two to three years.
3235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The fruit of greed is never good,, on: March 03, 2023, 07:58:36 PM

I hope those who read this thread learn from the story of @OP, never be greedy and connect your wallet to any link sent via pm of an unknown person on any social media platform.
Both new and old members should take this thread serious,  as we have heard different stories of similar in the past and just a few weeks back, a popular campaigns manager also got his wallet hacked and all campaign funds up to 4k weres stolen from the wallet.

-So there is a need for to protect our wallet with secondary security layers where available and necessary, to avoid easy access to transfer funds.

As you all know that greediness is a curse and if anyone is greedy in the crypto market he will surely going to lose his money. I know many people who are very much technically strong in fundamental analysis and technical analysis but they lack their control over emotions and they become greedy during trades and investments and in the end lose their money.

The 19th Match of Pakistan Super League has started today. Islamabad United vs Karachi Kings is a match between these two teams. Karachi Kings won the toss and came to bat. Scored 12 runs in 2 overs. Karachi Kings batsman Sharjeel Khan may bat well.Karachi Kings have some good batsmen if they can bat well then Karachi Kings can score like 160 runs.

Karachi kings had a bad start in the tournament so they need to win all of their matches with good margins in order to qualify for the next round. Islamabad United are on the number three spot while the Karachi kings are on the number 5th spot so you can understand how important this match is for both teams.

The Karachi Kings are batting right now and their scored 103 runs at the end of 12 overs with four wickets down. The openers have again been unable to make significant runs. Even Shoaib Malik got out on 12 and all the pressure is now on Imad Waseem the captain to take Karachi kings to a reasonable total in this match.
3237  Economy / Economics / Re: Can one achieve financial independence through crypto currency? on: March 03, 2023, 02:47:41 PM

1. The crypto market is a purely speculative market.
2. In a speculative market - the earnings of some are the losses of others. And I’ll clarify - there are always orders of magnitude fewer “winners” than “losers”
3. In order to trade on the stock exchange, one must have knowledge, experience, a good understanding, and a "feel" for the ongoing changes in the market.

All this together will contradict your assumption that the crypto market is a great place to make money, for everyone. I will not even give statistics and historical indicators of cryptocurrencies. I know that very many have lost money on investments in cryptocurrency trading.

The only thing I can say is that yes, at the moment, you can earn a little and more or less guaranteed on "scalping", constant fluctuations in the rate. And that's not for everyone Smiley

Thanks for sharing your insights on this topic. It is true that crypto market is very volatile and speculative and past performance of any project is not indicative of future results. Many people have lost money in crypto trading in particular newcomers who jump in trading business without making their own research and simply follow the advice of their friends and social media influences. For successful trading, it is crucial to make your own research, learn reading technical charts and follow financial discipline.

Even 80 to 90% of the people lose in crypto so how can it be financial freedom? People who think that crypto is an easy money making machine, they are bound to lose money in this market. I must insist that this mind set must change as with crypto you will not get rich overnight.

Yes, bitcoin provides you financial freedom if you have proper knowledge about bitcoin and you know when to invest in bitcoin, how long to hold it, what amount to invest, and have control over your emotions. In that case, bitcoin can provide you with financial freedom.
3238  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My $300 bet won $417,000 on: March 03, 2023, 07:45:06 AM
You only share your good news, not your gambling strategy, I hope newbies won't get hooked with this type of news and start developing some kind of unrealistic dream, makes sure you know what you are doing and gamble responsibly with the amount you are ready to lose. Avoid getting addicted to gambling by all means.
It's okay if he just shares the good news he experienced with us.
Maybe he wants to show that he is a very lucky gambler so he can win and get a lot of money.
If that happens to some of us, maybe we will also share it with others, which is natural.
And let's hope this doesn't trigger people to try what the OP did because at least people need more money to bet and have high chance of winning.
And it will not be owned by everyone, even though experienced gamblers.

Obviously, when people win big amounts they want to tell others and maybe also want to be popular among others. We do not know his exact intention which is to motivate the other gamblers too as big wins are possible in gambling which can change their fortune.

Personally, I like his idea of sharing his winning here as most of the time we only see negative aspects of gambling where the gambler complains about the problem they face on the gambling sites and there are very few who write in times of happiness and joy as did by the OP. As long as there is no evil intention by the OP, we should encourage him and congratulate him on his winnings.
3239  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in Bitcoin by selling wife's jewelry on: March 02, 2023, 11:59:27 PM

We know gold is very precious metal, but Bitcoin is much more expensive than gold. Bitcoin will cross $100k after halving in 2024 ie if I invest $3000 in Bitcoin now then there is a chance of getting 10x after 2024. If I get $30000 from investing $3000, nothing can be as valuable as Bitcoin. I explained this formula to my wife at night and she was not willing to give me her jewelery at first but today she told me by herself that you can sell my jewelery and invest in Bitcoin. At present I am forced to sell my wife's jewelery as I have no fiat money.
I seek advice from expert investors/holders/users of this forum,,,,
whether selling my wife's jewelery and investing on bitcoins makes sense?
Is it reasonable to invest in gold rather than bitcoin?
I would not say it’s unreasonable but it’s one way to secure your investment since gold is proven to be a reliable investment in time. But I believe bitcoin is a reasonable investment too, it’s just that the risk is high so if we can’t handle the pressures investing in bitcoin, then it’s better not to do it from the start. However, if you are deeply convinced that bitcoin is better than gold, then invest it by not disposing your gold investment. You can earn more if you keep both investments in the long term.

To be honest I will not sell the wife jewellery or the gold to buy bitcoin because gold value also increases over time and gold is a preferable secure investment. Instead of selling the gold I will prefer to convert fiat currency into bitcoin because fiat currency decreases over the time due to inflation.
3240  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can we experience $80k this year? on: March 02, 2023, 11:49:37 PM

So far, even though we have experienced a small bull recovery, we actually cannot use it as a guideline that the year will reach the latest ATH, $ 80k this year is actually a very significant increase and it is difficult for us to predict by looking at no changes in the surge so significant in the market so far, but to expect this to happen I feel it needs a much stronger push, either in terms of Bitcoin Adoption or with demand for Bitcoin offerings.

It is possible to count on a strong push for Bitcoin adoption, but the pros and cons of bitcoin are still being debated, while the current supply and demand for bitcoin is quite significant. This year will be an unpredictable year.

It will be very difficult to reach $ 80k I did not have the same belief before the halving happened but what is certain is that the usual bull market will definitely come soon and this is due to the effect of approaching the halving so we have to wait to see how the market moves.
The concern is that it will definitely happen, but we must be prepared if it is true that bitcoin has experienced a significant decline, but what is certain is that surviving is much better than selling due to panic.

A normal bull market may be like a bull trap that will come and give only a small chance and then crash again. The bitcoin market will move uncertainly for the year, but everyone is hoping for a real bull market. Before the halving occurs or nearing the halving, market movements will begin to be seen. Let's just wait for the end of the year, which of course we also have to have Bitcoin on hold to welcome the new ATH.

Seeing the past history, we may predict that we will not have a bull run this year but will be having small bull rallies which may be called bull trap

However, instead of finding the bull run, we can play level to level between weeks and make a good income just by trading the crypto market. No one knows if bitcoin will reach 80K this year or next year. Whoever tells he has this information is telling a lie.
