From the link in the OP While at least 26 publicly traded companies hold bitcoin, just one owns more than half of all cryptocurrency on corporate balance sheets. Can any public company catch up? it looks like Microstrategy has approximately 3 times more than Tesla. There has been talk that because of the recent down turn Microstrategy might sell because of potential internal pressures but I recon they will just buy more. Saylor takes the saying " put your money where your mouth is" to a new level.

^ Its a tie break now in the second set with Barty looking like taking the title TBH.
I had Collins to win a set and after she broke Barty TWICE in the second set I really thought my bet would be realised but Barty broke back to bring it to a tie break...
...and she takes the championship win.
Collins' service game just wasnt good enough today and though she broke Barty twice it was more about Barty making too many errors.

GLWS Heisenberg_Hunter, I cant believe nobody has bought. You might have to post some images even though almost everyone should be aware of them. I am still looking for this one ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fpbs.twimg.com%2Fmedia%2FE3cFVFHXwAMQqga%3Fformat%3Djpg%26name%3D360x360&t=663&c=OXm-zI1eYgU0Ow) [/quote]

Did you see how Medvedev lost it and how he was yelling at the referee? If you haven't seen it, check out this video from Facebook. He really doesn't need this kind of behavior but it seems that something made him really mad because he blew Tsitsipas off the court in the next 2 sets. I will bet on him against Nadal but I will cheer Nadal to win. Nadal will be happy after seeing this today, he will use a lot of mind games in the final. OMG he was rightly annoyed and correct because Tsitsipas got a warning for being coached later on. I dont agree with how Medvedev talked to the chair umpire and he apologised after the match. We have seen this before from Tsitsipas, taking his phone on his comfort break. When Medvedev gets fired up it motivates him more it seems.

I am not convinced, I still think he is bad in mental aspect. He has awful body language and bitches about all kind of details when results are not favoring him. That is part that irritates me most, he complained about everything yesterday to the ref "somebody took a picture", "somebody sneezed before my serve", "they are too loud"....
My thesis is that he has improved his game so much that his mental aspect does not get tested in 99% of matches. That is why I am waiting for his match against Djokovic or maybe even this back in form Nadal will be enough to show me the real state of things.
Đoković was the one that fell apart mentally in the US open final. He lost the game in the first set - it was really weird considering how strong he usually is mentally. I agree with you regarding Medvedev though. As I said in my 1st post - he is mentally weak. I just think that wins like these help - he will need his head in the game in an expected final against Nadal. Well it is closer now to finding out how Medvedev will cope against one of the "Top 3". Nadal came through in 4 sets against Berrettini in what looks like easy enough terms, just dropping 1 set. Medvedev is by far my favourite player ATM but I agree with you all, he has changed his game over the last year or so where he seems to have controlled his emotions a lot but I do get that he does seem at difficult times to be on the verge of losing that control. If he gets to the final no doubt the crowd will be with Nadal so there will be immense pressure there. For Nadal, the goal is so real now and the chance to go to "21" is so close. This is something I commented on last week, with Djokovic out of the AO the reward of that 21st GS is an bigger target for him, and look ... he is in the final! Women's semifinals today: Barty vs Keys and Collins vs Swiatek, I picked overs on these two matches.
My pics for the semis are Barty and Collins. If Keys wins over Barty, then my money's on Keys as I feel she can best Collins as well as Swiatek who I feel will be out this round. You're correct, who went to the final is Barty vs Collins, for these two matches it was very unattractive Keys and Swiatek did not showing an impressive thing and honestly a little disappointed not because lose the bet but their performance did not display the thing like a semi-final match. For final Barty is favorites and I betting on her in ML. I was a bit surprised with the Collins v Swiatek match, I had a bet on Swiatek to win 1 set, I knew she was struggling with performance but I really thought she would take at least a set from Collins.

That is some diamond hands display for sure.
I can only imaging that the OP HODL's "a few" bitcoin and to see it climb through $1000, through $5000, $10,000, $25,000 and so on and not cash some out to buy a Lambo or holiday home is quite remarkable.
Its true that not all of us can leave everything untouched, many of us have to seell and buy back.

....aaaaand Quantum Computers wont be used to strengthen Bitcoins code/network/development?
So many people think that some say QC's will be unleashed and computing chaos will happen all of a sudden, by surprise.
Its a development, it takes time and so everyone moves at the same pace including Bitcoin core, Mining ... and hacking

Đoković was the one that fell apart mentally in the US open final. He lost the game in the first set - it was really weird considering how strong he usually is mentally.
I was really surprised about that as well. It was just too much pressure even for him. If he won he would have golden slam plus most grand slam titles ever all in single match. I can't even imagine those levels of pressure and expectations and I guess it surprised even Djokovic. I have to say that, that loss came as quite a shock to almost every tennis fan but upsets like these happen from time to time and maybe this is the thrill that keeps the hype alive. When you see players struggling to close out the winning match so often it sometimes looks ridiculous for us viewers but so many have those pressure problems so they are obviously real enough ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) That is why Djokovic and Nadal are so good, they are mentally the strongest players on the tour and that gives consistency. If some of this newer guys like Medvedev, Zverev, Tsitsipas, Thiem... had that mental resilience and fighting spirit they would be topping the chart very soon. Another thing is that, yes Djokovic is one of the strongest players mentally, but after all, he is also a human being, and breakdowns like these can happen for various reasons. I'm not saying that this happens often, but even with the strong mentality Djokovic or players like Nadal have, losing your mind is okay sometimes and I think it helps one develop as a player and a human being. Yes well we have commented before that Tennis is as much about the mental state and strength as it is about hitting the ball. What I want to say is that without Djokovic we have had plenty of entertainment from many players, personally I didnt miss him, and without the top players or some or 1 of them it gives others a chance to gain more experiences and points.

^ Interesting Idea! I use both Trezor and Ledger hardware wallets. I have them both for over 2 years and both work perfectly still or since I last used them anyway. I use the Ledger Nano more often for coins in and coins out and the Trezor is for HODL coins and so lives out of sight in the dark crevasses of the house with some 'hook & loop' tape to fix it there . The Ledger lives in a drawer with other random USB's and stuff. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Flh3.googleusercontent.com%2F-e1hk8o3Ao9k%2FYfJH5M_kOMI%2FAAAAAAAAA4M%2FhFk0tGV8elUAUZv-589bj7E0ZzqyHBsjQCNcBGAsYHQ%2Fs1600%2F1643268066851619-0.png&t=663&c=_Hly6U6Dn91Mhw)

Excellent resource indeed! I won an auction a few weeks back for 3 BC Copper coins and this is a nice reference thread. Visiting the website now I see a nice commemorative coin for 2021 but shipping to Europe is pricey for such a small item, of course the more coins you buy the price per coin reduces. Anyone else in Europe interested in a group buy? ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fcdn.shopify.com%2Fs%2Ffiles%2F1%2F0906%2F8190%2Fproducts%2FCoins-4-1000px_1024x1024.jpg%3Fv%3D1634697068&t=663&c=WGbim7EcSAD_Vg)

Yea Sinner is already broken in the 3rd, its 1-3 there to Tsitsipas, I cannot see this going past 3 sets either.
I definitely wouldnt write off Nadal for the final. He doesnt have 20 Grand Slams for nothing and as they say great champions always find a way even with the odds against them, he might not be 100% fit but skills and experience have to play a big part still.
Experience does play a huge role but also the physical situation also plays a big part in terms of Tennis. He may be able to clutch out pressure situations with the help of his experience, but in terms of pace, he will fall behind other younger players. And also if we talk about endurance, he will also be behind other players. So I think it's a 50-50 chance. I think we will see Sinner develop more this year and even as the year progresses, he is still young and ranked 11, he should definitely break into the the top 10 this year. Medvedev looking the likelier winner now, a break up in the fifth set (3-1) ... of course this means whoever wins, they will be tired when they play the semi against Tsitsipas... so maybe we will see Tsitsipas in the final against Nadal? TBH I'm surprised this has gone to a fifth, I'd have thought Medvedev would win fairly comfortably... but my tennis betting record is not great ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Couldnt believe what I was seeing when I checked in the 3rd set, Felix AA up the first 2 sets. I like Felix but I have Medvedev to win the title!

So Bitcoin is not a beloved shell that has been worn for a long time, nor is it like a beloved rare metal with bling. It is an interesting scientific and technological product whose unique properties are waiting to be understood and used. Until people fall in love with it and find the right dependence on it.
nope you cannot wear Bitcoin around your neck and it isnt something you can make jewellery from that is what Gemstones and rare metals are used for. People already are in love with Bitcoin, I'm sure you are aware of many of them.... here on the forum. Pretty much all of the currently mined Bitcoin is bought and owned by someone. Not everyone in the world owns or wants to own Bitcoin but its doing very well with the current level of interest.

Yea I'm not so sure El Salvador will pay too much attention to the IMF. It wasnt in the IMF's interest at all that El Salvador made the move into Bitcoin and they got no support from the IMF then.
I hope El Salvador stays strong and weathers all storms and bear markets until the next halving in other words look to the medium to long term.

I'm starting to think Nadal should be the favourite for the title. Obviously him and Medvedev are the big two, and Nadal had a 5-setter today, but...
Nadal plays Berrettini in the semis, and Berrettini had a 5-setter, too. This is arguably the easy draw for Nadal, given the other semi is likely to be a really tough one, Medvedev vs Tsitsipas. Whoever (probably Medvedev) comes out of that the winner will probably be more tired than Nadal come the final.
This next match between Nadal and Berrettini should be another good one. I think I will back Berrettini, he seems to have found that fighting spirit while Nadal is still not 100% fit. There is another very interesting one coming up, Sinner v Tsitsipas with Sinner being favourite 1.68 - 2.20. I would have thought Tsitsipas would be favourite, does Sinner have it to go to the Semi's? I would love to see him do it.

I nearly did the same thing I did a couple of days ago. I logged into nitrogensports.eu and was about to start placing bets on my list of women's games I feel will win then realised I'd done wagers for the day prior, but had included the following day too. Which is Okay when they win as they had been doing, tough when they loose as a few of my selections have done yesterday. Hmmm, Havent done that myself yet. Yea fine if they are winners! ^^ Nadal won the first 2 sets very easy, 6-3, 6-4, but Shapovalov turn on the heat on the last 2 and now leading the 4ths set 4-2 and serving.
So by the looks of it, we are going to see a final set, I have Nadal winning here by ML, super boost on Sportsbet and I put a decent money because I think Nadal will have a 3 set win. But now it's going to be a tough match for him and he will be extended in 5 sets for the first time in this tournament.
Just watching the live scoring on Google, this is looking like another 5 setter. Shapovalov has done well so far in this match to get it to 5-3 in the 4th set. This could go either way. ...so its gone to a 5th set, it seems even enough based on set results 3-6 4-6 6-4 6-3 EDIT ::::: And another 3-6 set to Nadal and into the semi's he goes just as Trofo I thinkpredicted a week ago. Do you think Rafa will have extra motive to win this year, I know it will be tricky for him but to win this 21st slam and get one up on Roger and Novak will be something very special. ?
Rafa will have extra motive but I don't think he has a chance. Medvedev, Zverev and quite possibly a couple more players like Rublev, Berettini and Sinner have much better hard court form at the moment. Despite his age I still think best of 5 works in Nadal favor so Nadal will do well but I don't see him getting to the final. Semi final seems like most probable exit point for him since he has solid draw. snip Lets see if he can go at least 1 step further.

Well done to the OP! Its such a good feeling to be able to create something physical or digitally and get rewarded for it. I am also one on the forum who has created designs for others and got paid for doing so with Bitcoin. If you have a talent and want to be paid in Bitcoin or other crypto you should consider creating a thread in the SERVICES section.

The key words here are "LONG TERM" as per _act_'s post There is constant obsession surrounding Bitcoin v FIAT, so many people think if the market moves they are up or down while still holding the same amount of Bitcoin. as per NeuroticFish's post the market doesnt automatically affect the amount of Bitcoin held by anyone at any one time. ...If this dump continues for some more weeks, then it might be problematic for the El Salvador government. Because the opposition party has something to blame them for any kind of debt. And because of the economy, stocks and fiat investors also have something to say against Bitocin. If this happens, then other countries will be really confused about making bitcoin legal tender. To make it legal tender, they might study the case of El Salvador. It's just my speculation. What do you think about my speculation? I really appreciate your opinion.
I would imagine the opposition party can and will use the current down turn to attack Bukele's government, this is normal and would happen anywhere. Bukele will be able to defend their position on Bitcoin, he understands how the markets move.
