^  Aaand there it is again...  It’s starting, one leg of my parlay gone.  -_-  I heard Wolverhampton vs Watford could be postponed too.  I’m also expecting a couple more Boxing Day fixtures to be postponed.

Is it just me or does anybody else think the EPL will be shut down for a couple of weeks or something?
3242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: December 23, 2021, 02:24:06 PM
^  Yup.  The most stale weight class is 170 unless Chimaev gets a top 5 slot and challenges for the title.  Heavy weight is gonna be stale if Ngannou wins vs Gane.  145 and 185 have become somewhat stale too.  The most exciting divisions are 155, 125 then 135.

In 125 I think Fig wins his belt back from Moreno.  In 155 Makhachev could be the champ late next year.  In 135 Yan gets his title back from Aljo, Dillashaw challenges and loses then it gets stale.

Thanks to those who mentioned my name as an expert, but actually I'm not.  Smiley

I just post a prediction that is based on my personal analysis, or instinct in a certain game. I always tell people to follow or fade me if they don't like my prediction. Sometimes I have bad days also but that doesn't stop me from posting because I didn't feel like an expert that has an obligation to please everyone.

The thread that I created last December 30, 2018, is now 359 pages and very active.
I'm happy with that, but the purpose was really to let everyone share their picks or tips and let everyone learn about sports betting if they like to ask. I always believe that if we learn together, we will succeed together.

Same...  Lol.  I mean I do follow football, the UFC and F1 on and off throughout the years and I somewhat know what’s going on but expert?  Nope.  I’m just a degen who loves to gamble small if you guys noticed.  Cheesy

And as for poker, I played seriously for 6 years and was somewhat active in that community.  I know what’s up.  So I can def say that I haven’t seen one person in here who could be considered a poker expert.

Small information, nothing big and predictable.

Ferrari has released an interview in which they state that:

Next year they will not have a first and a second driver, and LeClerc and Sainz will start on equal terms and it will be the track that will decide who will be the captain of the team.

(which is however different in Redbull and Mercedes where they clearly have the two fixed captains)

Oof more pressure on Leclerc’s shoulders.  I think it’s because Sainz finihed the season with racking more points.  They prolly think putting the pressure on Leclerc would bring optimal performance.  I think Ferrari should just support him all the way.

There were some talks swirling around that Ferrari was pressuring Vettel too, hence the mistakes during 2018 was it?

^  Chikadze finishing Cub Swanson, I was like yeah whatever..  Swanson is getting close to being washed up as a fighter.  But Chikadze winning Edson Barboza who was somewhat looking good at 145?  And not just winning.  Chikadze finished him in the third round.  That was pretty convincing to me that he’s on another level.  I’m kinda thinking Chikadze could even make it look competitive vs Holloway...
After I first saw him fighting last year I think, I said that he is going to be one of the top fighters in his division and he is proving that with his positive attitude and his long winning strike.
He won all seven fights in UFC and one of his rear loses was only in Dana White Contender Series back in 2018.
I remember he was forcing and calling Dana and UFC to give him some fight and you don't see that so often in UFC.

I wasn’t really impressed with him before Barboza tbh.  Almost everybody he’s fought in the UFC were not really that good before a somewhat washed Cub Swanson.  But yeah, just like Joel Alvarez you could see massive improvements in his game.  He’s def on another level.

I wish we had championship futures market in crypto rn.  Chikadze and some of these prospects could be worth a small bet.

https://sportsbook.draftkings.com/leagues/mma/88670562?category=futures

I’ve already pm’d Stunna of Stake.  He said there’s some new stuff in the pipe line for the UFC betting market like live betting and hopefully championship futures.

Don't underestimate Leceister in his match against Liverpool.  Since against Tottenham they still have a chance to be beaten.  Although yesterday was a pretty strong match for both teams.  If Liverpool don't evaluate their strategy, it could end in a draw again.  Moreover, their condition in second place is currently only 3 points away from Chelsea so they must really be able to beat Leicester to be able to catch up with City.

Yup...  Virgil van Dijk, Thiago, Fabinho and prolly a couple others have all tested positive for covid.  But Brendan Rodgers at Leicester is in a bit of a conundrum too as he has lots of players in the side lines as well.  I’d prolly still pick Liverpool to win but it’s prolly something close like 2 - 1, 1 - 0...  Not a trashing.

And it looks like a lot of the clubs’ players are testing postive for covid.  You guys think Boxing Day fixtures will go on as scheduled?

^  Transaction volume is not indicative if BTC is actually being spent or not.  It could mostly be going in and out of exchanges.  And if you check the mempool out, it’s pretty much almost empty most of the time lately.  You could send a transaction with just around 1 - 3 sats.

And replying to Millionero’s post, maybe there’s just not enough interest in XMR...  -_-

What do you guys think of this parlay for the fixtures on Boxing Day...  Liverpool to win both halves vs Leeds at 2.00, Norwich team total under .5 goals vs Arsenal at 2.01, Brighton vs Brentford first half draw at 2.11 and Newcastle team total under .5 goals vs Man United at 2.37.  Total odds to win is 20.11.  Grin  25 bucks win a tad over 500 USD.

I feel somewhat confident on the first three and a little bit iffy on the Newcastle one...
3250  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 22, 2021, 12:37:10 PM
^  LOL no...  Unless it was some ridiculous amount of money but then it’s just a maybe.  I mean Haaland is young, he’s prolly in football for the glory first.  The money is secondary.  I think Newcastle would be trying to acquire an elite 30 something forward who still has a couple of years in the tank.  You guys got any names?  I’m thinking somebody like Bale...

But yeah, for EPL fans Newcastle is the club to watch during the January transfer window.
3251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 22, 2021, 12:21:21 PM
Liverpool is entering the race for Haaland! I hoped this would happen, it makes so much sense from business perspective as well which is a key metric when they analyze new signings.

Haaland has a low release clause, he's English, still so young with amazing potential and plays in a position Liverpool needs to strengthen anyway. Apparently Salah requested big signings if the club wants him to extend as well.

This just looks so good from all angles and I see it happening. The only problem might be that City will be looking for a striker as well.

Oof.  And between Pep and Klopp and currently being a player at Dortmund, I think we know where Haaland is headed.  He’d go for Klopp.  Once Pep leaves, I think another Liverpool era of dominance is upon us.  City should start looking around for options to replace Pep.  I think they should hire their own German.  Julian Nagelsmann or Hansi Flick...  They’re probably up there in managerial skills and ability as Klopp.

^ ^  I didn’t know F1 fans could be as dumb as football supporters.  With football supporters we know there’s some tribalism and hooliganism involved, so some dumb shit is expected.  But F1?  Lol.

Anyway here’s a good read about end of season driver ratings.  I think even if Verstappen didn’t win the driver’s championship, he’d still be considered more deserving.  Wtg Max.

AT this point XMR feels like proof that TA rarely works. So many TA'ers have shown big moves on XMR, yet it barely does anything and just goes down with Bitcoin and ethereum, but not upwards.

But I still believe in it, surely the vast majority of weak hands are out by now.

Rofl wtf?  What does TA have to do with XMR’s poor, lagging performance in the market.  It’s not the TA but the people behind the TA.  You really can’t trust anybody online for their own analysis cos you never know, they’re prolly just shilling their wares cos you know...  A lot of people at this stage of the market are out of cash so a lot of them prolly want you to come in with your cash.  And it’s not something specific itt and I’m not accusing anybody itt, it’s everywhere.
3254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2021/2022 on: December 21, 2021, 10:19:44 PM
Recent news reports are stating  up to 90 Premier League players, backroom staff and officials have tested positive for COVID-19 in the most recent wave of tests which means the future of this season (2021/22) is already in doubt.

It also stated 16% of Premier League players have not been vaccinated (which has to be a personal individual choice rather than the UK government not offering them double doses and the booster) but that might be unconnected to the latest positive test statistics.

I hope the season will not be cancelled because this is an exciting season where there are multiple teams in contention to win the EPL and there are multiple teams in contention for the 4th place Champions League spot.

I have a weird feeling we’ll be seeing something somewhat the same as the 2019/20 season.  And I laughed a bit when the EPL announced that all Boxing Day fixtures will be happening as planned.  I mean really?  We just had 6 clubs’ fixtures having postponed cos of covid.  It’s prolly just the start.

Would’ve had some nice spots for a little gambling.

^  Yup!  Most of the smaller events have been as good as the PPV ones.  And I think it’s more Thompson is getting washed than Muhammad getting a lot better.  But yeah..  At this point, Muhammad has the higher ceiling than Thompson but only cos of age.  Thompson is in near retirement.
Yeah, Wonderboy is getting on a bit now. His takedown defense has never been that good, but his ability to constantly hurt the man in front of him is whats kept him at a high level. I think a few more fights for him, and he'll call it a day. Any fighter he goes up against knows the recipe to beat him, its a bit like Kevin Holland, where they're both incredibly dangerous on the feet, very skillful, though there's a clear pathway to beating them.

The thing is with Thompson he's slowing down with age so he doesn't have that element to his game like he did a few years ago. Luckily Kevin Holland still has that, and will always remain dangerous while he's still in prime condition.

Its sad to see one of my favourite fighters deteriorate like this, especially against what I thought was a poor performance from Belal despite getting the win. I won't lie, when Belal said post fight he's the one with the hype in the division, I give a little laugh. In no alternative reality is he the hype man in the division, and I can't believe he had the audacity to even suggest so after that performance.

Kevin Holland is a black belt in BJJ.  It’s the reason why he basically accepts being taken down cos he’s also skilled with his back on the mat.  I mean it works against lesser fighters in the UFC but not against fringe top 15 guys and up.  And once fighter enter top 10, he should at least have decent defensive wrestling...  It’s modern MMA.

That enough makes me disappointed (I bet for Chelsea tonight). When Chelsea continues like this or worse in the next game (vs Aston Villa), that is possible for the position (3rd), or maybe the champion shall be far away from Stamford. When I took at the stand, The city is on fire, they are unstoppable to make a champion in the row, just a miracle to stop them.
I strongly advise everyone to avoid Chelsea matches for the time being; Aston Villa is in terrifying form right now, and they appear to have a good chance of beating Chelsea. Over2.5 goals or both teams to score is the best bet on Chelsea games.

I’m thinking under which is at 1.85...  Not a good price imo, considering Chelsea’s capability.  But I could see this match ending in something like 1 - 0 for Chelsea.  Chelsea team total under 1.5 goals is at 1.97, Aston Villa team totals under .5 goals is at 2.25.

Half time draw could also be good at 2.26.  And here’s another good one if you want Chelsea...  Double chance Chelsea or draw and BTTS combo at 2.21.  All you want to happen is for Aston Villa not to score a single goal.  Grin

Another end of the year for the UFC as we look forward to January 15, the venue is yet to be announced by uncle Dana, but I think it might be Moscow as well.
- I think Calvin Kattar is looking to redeem himself against his main event before where he was outclased even with his endurance and now he must make some adjustments to his fighting.

Therefore I think I will place bets on him.
They are not filled with highlights name, but expect a good show. This week was a brutal match, the main event, I did expect to finish fast and at last it did as well, it was enjoyable.

Sad there won't be any match till 15th of January.

If you checked the Tapology link I posted you’d see that the event will be at the Apex in Las Vegas.  There’s no reason why the event will be in Moscow.  Kattar is not Russian and so is Chikadze, who’s from Georgia.
3258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: December 20, 2021, 03:09:45 PM
^  I don’t know about you but Monero has some of the best people working on it.  It may stagnate in market cap but Monero isn’t going away.  We all know all that growth in most of crypto is nothing but mostly fake value supported by a community of people who are scamming themselves.

I’m pretty sure some of BTC’s use cases will transfer to XMR.  It’s starting at DNM’s.
3259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2021/2022 on: December 20, 2021, 02:39:16 PM
^  Yeah but still, that’s a lot of fixtures postponed in just one weekend.  I don’t think I’ve ever seen that many matches postponed since I started really watching football.

Everton vs LCFC is postponed too. So it’s a total of 6 matches postponed.  Wow...  And I think that’s just the start.  The season could be in shambles in a few weeks.
because of the current state of the pandemic. It's normal to have a few games postponed. and it could be even worse for the rest of the premier league games.
not just a week or two. there is a high chance that we will see it again next year if the situation worsens.
we hope all will be well.

But that’s the thing.  Having this many matches postponed is not normal.  And I think it wouldn’t be the last for the season imho. Think about how they’ll reschedule those fixtures.  It’s going to be a nightmare especially for the clubs that are still in the UCL, League Cup and FA Cup.

Anyway, watching Man City vs Newcastle United rn.  No bet but City to win both halves should be around even money before the match started.

A nightmare is the right word, especially if we take into account the fact that nobody knows when the league might be able to return to more or less normal. If the new Covid variant keeps spreading at exponential pace, I doubt that all those games can be rescheduled anytime soon. For the CL teams that is definitely a horror scenario.

Here’s the thing.  I think Boxing Day fixtures will be postponed cos of covid.  Hell...  I think all the fixtures between Boxing Day and some of the fixtures before the new year could be postponed too.  And worst case scenario, the EPL could start shutting down the season for fans.

I hope fans don’t riot.  Lol.
3260  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: December 20, 2021, 02:29:04 PM
^  Complete match ups can be seen at Tapology.

https://www.tapology.com/fightcenter/events/82805-ufc-fight-night

There are currently 15 matches and I hope nothing gets cancelled or postponed cos of covid...  It looks like a decent card to start the new year.  It’s not packed with big names by any means but it should be just like the last event.  Not much big names but most of the matches were really good.  The match makers in the UFC are the best.
