Really good that you have developed strategies working for you and also giving out returns to you but the thing is it might be successful for you but for others it could not give the same output as we all have different methods to trade in the market.I will say there is no such single perfect strategy that works completely fine with everybody so if you have made one for yourself then it's good.

Like for some spreading out the investments if good while others simply try to hold it for long term with some good coins like btc so we all have choices which develops our trading habits.
Yes and definitely it is not something easy to find a suitable trading strategy for ourselves,
to find it I think it takes time and keep trying because if we just stay quiet and don't try it will be difficult,
your trade is your journey so don't try to copy what others are doing because it may not work for you
Try to find one that you could customize to your liking. You do not have to apply someone elses strategy one to one to yourself because that person is a different person than you. This means that something that works for that person, may not be working for you because you are just different and your approach is different and your goals are different, your talents are different, your desires are different and many other things.

All in all finding one that would fit perfectly for you would be very difficult, not impossible but very difficult. So, just find something that is "close" to what you can like, and try to customize it to your own liking.

8250$ on a single Keno bet? This is a lotto so this is really a WTF moments in gambling. This might be a mistake bet because typically a user will not bet huge amount on a single bet in Keno game. I’m interested to see his betting history but the user profile is hidden. I’m very curious on how much he spend before he hit that kind of huge win, his 3ETH turns to 244.5ETH is an insane amount whih is enough fo me to retired my job. Lol
There are way too many rich people gambling on stake nowadays. There are people betting 10k per bet here and there and it is not like the old days. Back in the day we had a lot more in bitcoin amount or just in general crypto amount because crypto was low priced. However, nowadays we have regular rich people, we literally just saw Drake wagering like a bajillion amount as well.

So, when you see keno players wagering 8k+ per bet, that is not even that rare anymore. Stake making it like some ad to show how good the return is could be a bit different from the way you look at it. 8k to 672k looks like it is a huge jump, but if you are poor, you will wager like 80 cents, which will be 67 dollars, so that is not too bad neither and I would say this is a good return in any case.
3243  Economy / Economics / Re: The ruble is going to hell on: March 10, 2022, 08:28:14 PM
Germany decided to go to 100% renewable energy by 2035, which should be self sufficient for the whole nation. I do not know how much that costs, and since Germany is a smaller nation than the USA, maybe it is easier, I have zero clue about the costs and the benefits of it. However, if the topic is to be independent when it comes to energy needs, and also cleaner world? Then what Germany aims to do should be what every nation aims to do right?

I am not well educated on the subject, this is just my "guess" and that’s all, I just assumed, no idea if that’s true. What will Russia do then? Ruble lost 50%+ already and it will continue to lose more, they need to find some trading partners to replace that lost money asap, otherwise they are screwed for sure.
Going full on renewable energy is not just feasible for energy independence, or just climate change, but it is also getting economically profitable as well. Most companies who are doing it gets help from the government as well. You can spend a million dollars to get a huge wind turbine, but you will be also getting some help from the government to get it.

I know a guy who works at a company with 26 of them, it is such a huge company and yet all they have is 26 items, that's it, but when that 26 items are 26 huge wind turbines, they became like top 2000 company in our country. He said that even 1 hour shortage on one of them makes such a huge difference to their business, but at the same time they pay 20% less on taxes on average and many other benefits.
3244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Women and Cryptocurrency on: March 10, 2022, 06:29:54 PM
Women have been in the crypto world for a long time, we can see this based on the team from a project. 3 out of 10 are women, this shows 30% of women are interested in crypto. This means, if the team in a project is involved with women, of course there are women in general crypto users as well. But NFT is something new, and it is difficult for some to understand, in contrast to Bitcoin, Ethereum and Dogecoin. They are easy to get through exchanges.
I would guess that NFT will get a bit more women involved because it is artistic. Even though most of the big name artists are men, the general population of men do not really go for artistic valued things, we go for instinct value things, a hammer is a hammer and you know what you can do with a hammer and can buy it, the nail is a nail and you can nail it to the wall, but the painting you buy?

So, the NFT space could see a lot more women involved for sure, but the difference is that there is really nothing that suggest crypto is any less, we are doing a lot better than wall street averages, and that tells you something, I am guessing mainly because crypto is a bit more remote and individual, meaning women can't be harassed by their bosses in crypto as much as they do in wall street.
3245  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading should be supported by goverment on: March 10, 2022, 05:24:28 PM
Just removing the high taxes would have been fine. However, you have to realize that all of the governments of the world are out of money right now. Between the pandemic, the elections, the horrible inflations, the lack of workers, the war right now, oil wars and all of that combined, governments are doing horrible.

It means that there is absolutely nothing wrong with the current situation. Obviously, governments will get as much taxes from people as they possible can. If you do 100% taxes on profits, obviously it wouldn't work, so there is a correct number where you can get the most taxes and they will keep on doing that.
3246  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My Trading Strategy on: March 10, 2022, 04:42:05 AM
When you are disciplined and proactive on following your own predetermined set of rules and timing then definitely you will be getting better chances to make profits rather than losing and regretting. Still I agree with you, when we are too fine with our trading plans, definitely we will be feeling good even on the occurrence of losses because sometimes something beyond our hand do happen to get us losses which can be usually whales' manipulation.
That would be based on how good your own set of rules is as well. If you are a great trader or you took "how to trade" lessons very well, then you could set one that is great and if you do not sway away from it just because market is volatile, then you will be fine.

However if you are a newbie that took it from some influencer and want to be like that person and keep repeating that, the results could vary and potentially make you lose. Emotional factors play a big role here as well, if there is a method to make crypto, and you just simply have to do it, there are tons of people who switch their decisions just because of the volatility and get scared and lose money.
3247  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: March 09, 2022, 06:37:06 PM
Here is the latest update from Rollbit regarding the sale structure :

There will be two type of sale, whitelist sale and public sale. The whitelist sale will occur 30 minutes before the public sale which is on 7.30 pm UTC and the remaining Rollbots will be sold via Dutch auction format.

Still lacking information regarding the whitepaper, the price of the Rollbots and the total number of Rollbots for each sale. Gotta wait for a while until Rollbit make full reveal of these important informations
Which means that if in that 30 minutes all of them are not gone, then we will have a chance to get it. Not a bad idea, and the more important part is if you are whitelisted you still have one account, but with public you could end up owning a lot of them as well. This will guarantee that all of it will be sold for sure.

I am not saying that it has to be sold out to be successful but it definitely does make it better and I believe that it should be very important for all the investors to see it sold out. With the public one just 30 minutes later, it will either be sold out in few minutes to all whitelisted, or if not then few minutes of public will make sure of it.

Another gambling site that sends donation to Ukraine! It was really a nice gesture for Stake that shows support to Ukraine through donation, I hope this war will end immediately as many civilians are suffering particularly children and elderly. By the way it looks like you are now sponsored by drake? It's no doubt since he is using your gambling site to play sports betting, I heard about the NFL match where he used Bitcoin to place bets in Stake.com
These days everywhere is in supporting Ukraine, I am not sure if it is something that we could actually see if they mean it, or is this a business decision. I am not talking about just Stake here, in fact Stake could be one of the rare legit places because they have been donating to places all the time, they had charity tweet competitions and we voted for it and for a while they kept donating more and more and more.

It means that we should not really be shocked about the current situation. However, there are way too many places out there that end up working hardcore to look like they are good guys, but in fact they are only donating because others are donating as well, if nobody did, they wouldn't neither.
3249  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin the best investment at the moment? on: March 08, 2022, 07:07:22 PM
Going through the internet found a comparison chart between cryptocurrency and traditional investment.

This is more than enough to show how good is the growth of cryptocurrency against the traditional investment. The highest return out of traditional investment is 43% whereas with cryptocurrency is 6566%

Based on my understanding investing at the right time gives the best return. If not investor needs to have patience holding it to sell at the peak.
I would guess that it is not really that shocking to see crypto doing better in the most bull year of crypto world.
I mean we were under 5k at march 2020, so it is not really that weird to see us going huge even after some falls.

Secondly, the prices are taken after the stock fall as well, so stocks are not doing that well neither to begin with.

I am not saying that stocks are good or anything, I would never prefer them over crypto, it is clear that crypto is the winner and will always be. But, selective stats will not be the reason why people would prefer crypto, you have to realize that the difference is usually not that well. Look at 2018 stock vs crypto and you might end up upset.
3250  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto prices crash as threat of war looms on: March 08, 2022, 04:39:51 PM
I think the effect of the Ukraine war is what the market reacts to from the market sentiment.  But it's not the grand nature of that decline.  We all realized last May bitcoin also had a big retracement at $29k and then everyone was panicking and panicking, but in the end bitcoin hit a new ATH.  Therefore, I think it is still advisable to be optimistic about another stronger recovery.  It can happen if the positions are confirmed from the market.
Again those are different scenarios, we haven't reach new all time high that time and it was a typical retracement to $29k. But now, when we did experience a magical run to $69k and then we slowly decline to what we are right now. So it's a combination of retracement and then followed by panic due to the war. And it may very well confirmed that we are not in a bull run cycle this year.
I would guess that it is not really "that" different. Obviously, it is a bit different and we are living in a different timeline. We are living in a situation where things are not really as bad as you might imagine, it is not great neither, but it is not as bad for crypto neither. While from the Ukraine and even from the west we may see bitcoin dropping and people are panicking, we are also seeing from Russia how the oligarchs are switching their money into crypto to get away from sanctions.

So, even though it is not the same as 29k to 69k period right now, it is not a bear run neither, at least not for the time being, I do not know what the future will hold.
3251  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to trade cryptocurrencies? on: March 07, 2022, 06:17:01 PM
Many of them are misleading if it's about trading. They'll insert what they like to feed to their viewers for the sake of their own agenda and profitability.
It's not about trading but all about the revenue that they might get with those advertisements or paid sponsorships by a certain project that they'll advertise while they try to explain what trading is all about and strategies that they're building. That's why it's not advisable to get a lot of feed about trading on youtube videos. Well, they're helpful at most times but you also need to be vigilant about finding out which is really helpful and not.
If you are looking at some random people than you will not be able to find anyone that you can trust, because it is rare in the crypto world to find someone that you could trust. However, some people watch a lot of videos from a lot of different people, and eventually they get better at trading as well and they look back and eliminate the bad ones and suggest the good ones as well.

The problem is that, do we get those youtube videos as good because those people actually benefited from it? Or are these another set of influencers suggesting a channel because they got paid? We do not know about it, that is something we will never know about for sure.
3252  Economy / Speculation / Re: Get ready to SODL on: March 07, 2022, 03:14:06 PM
what is the point of holding without encashing. The answer is, it is like trying to maximize the benefits we could enjoy out of bitcoin investment. It does not mean that you should not sell your bitcoins at emergency situations but just for the reason of buying pizza, do not sell your bitcoins or just for the reason of bitcoin reached $100k, do not sell your bitcoins.
That must be a convincing point to me as well because people who rushed to encash their bitcoin investments, deeply regretted later on. When you are confident about the future of bitcoin investments then you never need to get ready to sell off. In recent times as per this community, many people started showing interest on swing trading like selling around ATH and then buying back at bottoms.

But, predicting market directions and trends are not that easier one which is the reason why people do always suggest about long term holding for better returns.

The last year's trend must be one good example for this scenario. We all expected bitcoin to have another 10x rise but bitcoin market showed only 3x from 2017's ATH. So, selling off for any reason like swing trading or anything similar to that is highly NOT recommended as it may lead to regrets in most cases.
3253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins to sell? on: March 07, 2022, 06:30:00 AM
I own these 6 coins and I'm planning to sell 2 of them.

Which one of them has the lowest potential in your opinion and why?
Errmm… Cool I don’t know why in your poll a lot of people voted that you should sell your Cardano (ADA). Personally I feel that Cardano is a really good cryptocurrency, and would still grow in future, maybe because the price has been dropping as of lately? If you wanted to sell it, I would have recommended selling when it reached an all time high which was above $3.

A lot of people that were able to invest early into it (which I don’t know if you were part of) were able to realize good profit from the increase in the value and some of them I know sold their coins, and are now either waiting for the perfect time to invest again or use that money to buy another good coin.
3254  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Scalpers and day traders - Never lie, be realistic. on: March 07, 2022, 05:15:32 AM
I have read it before that most traders later become swing traders after many losses, I have becoming to think this is true because I have been losing ever since.
But, I read 99% of traders are becoming holders after frustrating losses. Swing trading and long term holding are not having big differences but I believe for bitcoin, long term holding is most better option rather than trying out any kind of trading which can be swing trading or anything.

I know forum people who sold bitcoins around $50k by last May month with the plans of swing trading but market disappointed them when it tested $64k and some of them bought back around $61k with the target of $95k levels. It means long term holding may get you any kind of frustrations like this.

This is not about swing trading though but about scalping and day trading, are you making profit from it?
My kind suggestion is, all type of trading may get you losses one day or other but if you get into long term holding then you will find chances to make profits in long run. Leave off all the headaches which can be swing or scalping; adopt long term holding to enjoy your days.
3255  Other / Politics & Society / Re: FIFA and UEFA has suspended Russian Football teams. on: March 06, 2022, 09:45:03 PM
FIFA and UEFA looks most aggressive with Russia invasion and always give support with Ukraine by giving attending applause before match begin on all competition for this week. But almost forget how have the same ideas when other country war invasion like Palestine attack by Israel and almost player and fans who give support for Palestine freedom get punishment and looks different with Ukraine. I think agree never have the same thing between war and football exactly not all people agree with war invasion and the player just take care with football only and I think enough with punishment getting by Russia right now.
I read an article about the situation just recently, and it said it is about threat level and not about war. Basically, it means that if there is a war in Iraq today, or Syria, or Egypt or Yemen, or Saudi Arabia etc etc, those all look like there is a situation that would conflict them inside and not the world. How could Europe be effected by a war in Saudi Arabia? They have been killing Yemeni people for a while and it doesn't impact Europe, or china has been killing many people and attacking a lot and it doesn't impact them.

However, Russia attacking Ukraine is right there, it is literally right their next door and it does impact them as well, it's happening on their border. Which is why they are this aggressive, it's about relative scale on how much impact it has on Europe.

In gambling loss is unavoidable but ofcourse we can reduce the amount of it by controlling ourselves from getting into aggressive betting.I also have dedicated budget for gambling and when i play luck based slot only that much amount is wagered despite the fact of win or loss because i can't go beyond my limits as it is not good.
That's a good reason because we have to have the amount that has been provided for gambling, it's not too big as long as we can control it, it certainly won't be a big risk, if you lose and win it's normal, the important thing is that I seek luck from the capital that has been prepared.
I also don't want to go over the limit because for me this will be more to lose so I set this all when playing slots.
Best way to control it is putting in a lot less than I normally should. That's what I do normally and it has worked so far. I do like certain amount first of every month, by the end of the month if I have none left then I deposit the same amount, if I have a bit left, then I put enough to take it back to same amount, and if I have more than I do not deposit that month. That way at the start of every single month I have the same amount.

If I end up gambling it away on the second day, I have to wait a whole month without gambling and only restart back up at the start of the season. That's my method, there could be betters but it has worked for me for many years now.

It is cool that we have something to at least look forward to when we buy this NFT, compared to most others. People mock the NFT world a lot because they are useless most of the time. However, we have to ask ourselves, do we really like these returns or not? I mean it is certainly not a bad one, but is it a great one? Sure we get a return from owning these, and there is basically an ownership bravado involved that makes people a bit more happy and proud, but is that enough? What was the returns on the first ones? Did people who purchased them make enough profit to justify the cost? We need that data from the first ones, to make sure we are not overpaying on the next ones.
I would love to see what they did and how much return they got as well but from what I am guessing there was a situation where people did not just made returns from holding it, but the price is a bit higher as well and that is what the second batch is looked at.

You could mint it if you are early, and that whitelisted early minted type of people will end up selling it for higher. What they can do afterwards is unknown to me as well but getting sold out is guaranteed because of the price situation. If you can mint something for x amount and then sell it for 2x amount, you would do that too, and that much is known, it will be higher priced.

There will always be spammers on this forum, there is no way to stop it. We have seen it with plenty of accounts, they try to farm merit, get their accounts higher, and then use them to either sell or do signature campaigns. However, they rarely ever get enough merits so they stop eventually and some other spammer comes out.

This topic is low quality at best, if there was a downvote button then it wouldn't even made it to hot pages, this is why bitcointalk needs to turn into more like reddit structure and needs that for the longest time until then we have to live with these people.
3259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Did Ukraine successfully rug us? on: March 05, 2022, 08:58:17 PM
I assume that most people who gave money to Ukraine didn't do it because they assumed they could make money from it. I mean what did they expected, Ukraine to get out of war, give them some tokens and somehow that token to have some worth? Hell in that case NFT is even better, it is like "I helped" badge that you can show around, and the ones who haven't could just buy from you to act as if they did.

I believe that you shouldn't have donated to a nation that is getting bombarded just because you were hoping for profits. Any person that gave money to Ukraine right now with the hopes of making more later on did something unethical and I am happy that Ukraine is not giving them tokens, I also hope they give NOTHING back, this is donation, not investment.

I had around 100 bitcoins get in and out of my wallet total. You heard it right, over 100 bitcoins have been in and out of my wallets total. Am I rich at all? Not even close, I do not have even 0.1 bitcoin total right now. Which is enough proof that not many people knew it would be this big. I got smarter about it and now investing a bit better, but at the end of the day it is still a difficult thing to do and I have to just accept it and move on.

If I keep regretting about the past mistakes then I can't move forward. The only reason humans (and most animals) improved their memory is to learn mistakes (fire is hot, touching hurts, do not touch fire type cavemen things) and not do them again. I learned my mistakes and there is no reason to keep holding onto the regret feeling after that. Just buy more or hold more and keep moving forward.
