^^^ Here is the problem. There are two kinds of people in this world:
1. The pushy, ambitious kind... leaders;
2. Simple, honest, workers just living life... followers.

The pushy, ambitious kind always want more. They become leaders because they see it as a way to get more.

The simple, honest, life-living, followers simply aren't pushy enough to become leaders

...

As usual, and as I would expect from a Trump follower, simple, but wrong, answers to complex problems. There are many "types" of people, and leadership it has nothing to do with being "pushy" - there are tens of leadership styles and people are not divided in "followers" and "leaders", most people are both of them at some point in time and for certain things. I am thinking of a Personal Assistant I know, mostly doer / follower at  work, but leading a local charity.

Leadership is not necessarily linked to personal ambition.

BTW, about your signature thing... For most people, COVID symptoms go away in one day to a week... without doing anything in particular.

Actually, you are saying it backward. Personal ambition doesn't necessarily lead to leadership. Both of us are examples of this.

But consider. How often does a leader become a leader without being pushy? People don't often go to a simple farmer or businessman, take hold of him, and push him into a leadership role, without him at least asking for the job. They might suggest the idea to him. But it is his ambition that moves him to move forward with the idea... even being a simple, tiny-town council member.

Regarding my signature, thank you for agreeing with me that Covid, at least in its original state a couple of years ago, wasn't much of a deal. Two things about this:
1. Why doesn't the medial know this, so that they are stop pushing vaxxes, and stop issuing the useless mask mandates in places?;
2. The vaxx caused Covid is what is harming and killing almost all people who get Covid these days.

There are several sources and estimates between a drop of 4% and 1%, just google a bit if you need to. It is all right if you want to deny and all that, the economy does not care for it - in the end, people loose their employment, investment is reduced and everyone is worse off. Congrats on the "victory".

https://www.reuters.com/markets/russias-more-gradual-economic-contraction-extend-into-2023-2022-12-02/#:~:text=MOSCOW%2C%20Dec%202%20(Reuters),room%20to%20cut%20interest%20rates.

Quote
MOSCOW, Dec 2 (Reuters) - Russia's economy is set to shrink by 2.5% next year, on top of a 3% contraction in 2022, a Reuters poll suggested on Friday, with stubbornly high inflation giving the central bank only limited room to cut interest rates.

Russia's economic landscape changed drastically after Moscow sent tens of thousands of troops into Ukraine on Feb. 24, triggering sweeping Western restrictions on its energy and financial sectors, including a partial freeze of Russian reserves, and leading scores of companies to exit the market.
I asked where did you get that for a country in the BRICS group anything less than growing the GDP by 5% is an absolute failure?

Two main reasons:

- Employment is linked to growth. Most countries only generate new employment when they grow above 2% or so. BRICS need more than that to generate opportunities for their young people, as usually population is also on the rise.
- Because investment is about risk versus benefit. A BRICS is by their own nature can only attract investment and financing by offering a great growth rate.

It is quite basic. BRICS often have "bad years" but very rarely have several consecutive "bad years", but anyway, if you think is going well out there... enjoy.

And the reason why things seem to be a bit of trouble for BRICS is, they are trying to bring world money back onto a value-trade standard, rather than the current world money system which is a fiat, debt-backed, Ponzi scheme.

Actually, all that Russia and BRICS have to do is hold out for a while longer. The big fiat Ponzi that rules the world, now, will collapse due to its own weight... its fakery.

Supply and demand, automatically, is the answer. If you mess with natural supply and demand by trying to control it, you will only mess everything up.

The Ukraine war is a good example of this. The US and Europe tried to sanction Russia into pain and problems. It only increased Russia's fair trade elsewhere.

Cool

But the US and Europe managed to sanction Russia into pain and problems. The thing is, Europe also sanctioned itself in the process.

Every country has pain and problems in some ways.

Russia has expanded and grown into other parts of the world because of the sanctions. Sure, it was troublesome for them to do this in some ways. But the overall effect is that they are growing and expanding rather than declining. And when Europe finally has exhausted their supplies, they will go back to Russia.

On the other hand, look at the problems Europe is having due to the sanctions. And inflation in the US threatens the very banking system that pushed the sanctions into place.

So, learn a little science so that you can stop spouting magic. All you are proving is that your atheism is a religion.

The not so clear point is, that since it was not Russia, and yet Russia was originally blamed by much of the mainstream media, by Zelensky(?), and by many Nato countries... the point is, how can we trust anything Ukraine, Nato countries, and mainstream media says?

To that end, if BADecker ever quotes something Ukraine, Nato countries, and mainstream media says, it's mostly just to show that they are contradictory sources, and can't be believed without personal, on-location investigation.

Please try to think a little deeper about what you read in the Koran. God created everything, right? And He knows everything, right?

We know from experience and experiment, that everything operates by cause and effect (Q&E). This means that whatever you do, something happens based on exactly the way you do whatever you did. And it works like this with everything that happens in the world... everything was caused by something else to be the way it is, and everything that happens causes other things to happen in the exact way that it affected them.

What does this have to do with God? God made it all to happen at the creation. He set out all of creation so that it works the way it does in perfection. The laws of physics that He created operate without change. And since God knows it all, He was aware right from the beginning of all the causes and reactions that would happen throughout all time.

God cares about it all... even what Biden and others think... even about nuclear attacks and every scrap of pandemonium in a nuclear explosion. Why and how? Because He set it all up to operate exactly the way it does.

But what does Islam care about? Take a look at how the Religion of Peace is really a Religion of Violence - https://www.thereligionofpeace.com/pages/quran/violence.aspx - loads of Koran examples.

Cool

That is very silly to say. You are always speaking of "God", under the Christian Mythology, but the fact is you ignore even your "sacred" texts. The Bible is full of violence, abuse, discrimination and pretty much every ugly thing that the modern societies are trying to get past. We are talking also genocide yes.

Islam as anything else, can be used to control simple minds and give a sense of purpose (many times the wrong one) to people who are lost and left behind.

And since this topic is about Biden, I think Biden should help promote a better understanding of the open-minded versions of Islam. There you are.

I'll be truthful. I certainly don't understand everything about being a Christian. Some of my understandiong may be a bit mythological. But the basics of Christianity are not mythological.

The New Testament is the part of the Bible that we live under today. There is not any Christian violence listed in the NT. There is other violence, but no Christian violence. There are people that are Christians, are mistaken about what Christianity is ( use Christian mythology), and absolutely DO violence. Christianity is about invitation, but not about force.

Islam is different. Every place where people don't accept Islam, Muslims will do their best to force people to become Muslims. If you don't see it happening in a land, it's because the Koran tells Muslims not to use force if there is too much resistance to have success in that land.

Since this topic is about nuclear attack fakery, it certainly isn't about Christianity. If it were about nuclear defense, then it might possibly be about Christianity as well - self protection. But it could easily be about Islam since, contrary to its popular description as a 'religion of peace', Islam is really a 'religion of violence'.

3251  Other / Politics & Society / Kari Lake Trial SHOCK: 42.5% of Ballots Were Illegally Printed... on: December 23, 2022, 08:19:53 PM
Just to point out, I had read somewhere else that many of the paper ballots were the right size, but the printing on them was an inch narrower than it was supposed to be. This threw off the electronic tabulators so that they rejected the ballots, because they couldn't read them... poor alignment. Then, these ballots were counted in an illegal/inappropriate way afterwards.

Another major point was the 'chain of custody'. As ballots are stored or moved before and after they are counted, they need to have the handlers sign off, on paper, that they transferred the ballots, to or from whom they transferred them, the time, the location, etc. This was not done for about a third of the ballots. This means that nobody really knows where those ballots came from, or how many of them might have been manipulated illegally.

Kari Lake Trial SHOCK: 42.5% of Ballots Were Illegally Printed; Couldn't Go Through Tabulators

Today is day 1 of the Lake v Hobbs trial, and the Kari Lake legal team is NOT holding back.

One of the key developments is that the ballots were inappropriately printed on the wrong paper.

You see, the ballots are supposed to be 20 inches long in order to go through the machine.

But election day ballots were printed on 19 inch pieces of paper.

This meant that the vote tabulators were unable to read the ballots.

This jammed the machines and led to widespread issues on election day.

It also raised the question: Were these election day ballots counted appropriately?

Here's the thing: Almost 50% of the ballots inspected had this issue.

More specifically, 48 of the 113 ballots that the Lake legal team was able to inspect were printed on 19 inch slips.

But this is just the tip of the iceberg.

Sure, Trump is ambitious somewhat. But he wasn't ambitious enough to fight the Biden coup in a way that would make him a winner. Trump is more into steady, even, somewhat-honest, business growth. If he hadn't had a father who was a bit of an ambitious businessman, Trump wouldn't have the wealth he has today.

Biden, on the other hand, doesn't care where his money comes from... as long as he gets it. Bow to the super-wealthy. Invest in other countries in unconscionable ways (through Hunter). Push into the Presidency, even though he knows it was done through a coup.

The followers will never overcome the leaders. Why not? Not ambitious enough... or crooked enough. The best we can hope for is a leader who is somewhat ambitious, good-ish and honest-ish.

The Story of the Christmas Truce of 1914--and Its Eternal Message

War had already been waging in Europe for months when Pope Benedict issued a plea from Rome on Dec. 7, 1914 to leaders of Europe: declare a Christmas truce.

Benedict saw how badly peace was needed, even if it was only for a day. The First Battle of Ypres alone, fought from October 19 to November 22, had resulted in some 200,000 casualties (mostly German and French soldiers, but also thousands of English and Belgians). The First Battle of the Marne was even worse.

In light of this carnage, the pope asked "that the guns may fall silent at least upon the night the angels sang."

The European leaders ignored his plea.

Then something miraculous happened on the eve of Christmas. From No Man's Land—the area between the trench works of Allied and Central forces—German troops, in a spontaneous act, put down their weapons and invited English soldiers to celebrate Christmas with them. It's remembered today as the Christmas Truce.

The British cartoonist Bruce Bairnsfather was one of many who chronicled the event. A machine gunner in the 1st Battalion of the Royal Warwickshire Regiment, Bairnsfather was shivering in the muck of a three-foot trench on a cold night, munching on stale biscuits and chain-smoking, when he heard a noise at about 10 p.m. Via History:

...

Afterwards, not everyone was pleased with the gaiety. Some military leaders reportedly seethed over the Christmas truce. But Bairnsfather suggests the soldiers themselves cherished the moment, which they sorely needed.

Personally, I believe that many of the things that are happening in the world are are attempts by some extremely super-wealthy people, to take over the world more directly.

The US Constitution and laws give the US people almost direct control over government and their lives. Most of the people don't realize this, or know how to use what they have available to themselves, in US law. Canada, the UK, and Australia are similar. India is following closely behind because of its having been ruled by Britain for such a long time.

One of the major freedoms that US people have is individual gun freedom. Without this freedom, the country - and then the world - could be made to collapse easily. So, this and other freedoms are what the super-wealthy people are fighting against.

Everything that is being done in the Ukraine war and other areas around the world, are designed to collapse people freedom. It wouldn't be that the people wouldn't have reasonable lives without freedom. But they would always be on call to give their time and talents to the super-wealthy, by force if necessary.

There is one basic thing that the super-wealthy are after. It's everlasting life for themselves, along with the control. They want to live, and to live in a healthy way, for a long time... maybe a thousand years, if possible. But the longer they can live in pure health, the more they will desire for themselves.

We don't count, individually. We count only for the ability we have to give them what they desire.

This Is Not Normal! The Nation Braces For A 'Bomb Cylcone'...

We are only at the very beginning of winter, and we are already being hit by a storm that will bring "the coldest air in decades" to many parts of the country.  In fact, there will be some areas where wind chill temperatures drop so low that it will literally be "life-threatening" to be outside.  Needless to say, we could really use some of that "global warming" they keep talking about right now, because conditions are going to be bitterly cold all over the U.S. this week.  For years, I have been warning that global weather patterns are starting to go completely nuts, and this winter is certainly off to an extremely bizarre beginning.  If you live in a place that will get hit really hard this week, please be safe.

According to the Weather Channel, the giant storm that has begun to sweep across the nation is known as "Winter Storm Elliott", and it could "become a bomb cyclone over the Great Lakes later this week"…

A? major storm – named Winter Storm Elliott by The Weather Channel – could become a bomb cyclone over the Great Lakes later this week and bring blizzard conditions to parts of the Midwest as well as high winds to the East Coast, snarling travel in the days leading up to the Christmas holiday weekend.

T?his developing storm will also usher in bitterly cold air to much of the nation as far south as Texas, the Gulf Coast and Florida.

Wow! After most of us knew that Russia was not to blame, finally the Washington Post is owning up to its mistakes. That's noble of them. But the point is, they are continuing to jump to false conclusions all over the place... as is the rest of main-stream media in the US.

Evidence In Nord Stream Sabotage Doesn't Point To Russia: Washington Post

A surprising admission has come in a Washington Post report Wednesday morning following a months-long investigation into the Sept. 26 Nord Stream 1 and 2 pipeline sabotage attacks. While there remains consensus that the explosions were indeed the result of a deliberate act of sabotage, numerous officials in the West now say the evidence is not pointing to Russia.

WaPo begins by recounting the frenzied rush to immediately blame Moscow, which began within a mere hours into the massive gas leaks into the Baltic Sea:

After explosions in late September severely damaged undersea pipelines built to carry natural gas from Russia to Europe, world leaders quickly blamed Moscow for a brazen and dangerous act of sabotage. With winter approaching, it appeared the Kremlin intended to strangle the flow of energy to millions across the continent, an act of "blackmail," some leaders said, designed to threaten countries into withdrawing their financial and military support for Ukraine.

And then comes this admission: "But now, after months of investigation, numerous officials privately say that Russia may not be to blame after all for the attack on the Nord Stream pipelines."

The Post issued the rare about-face of accusations after interviewing a total of 23 diplomatic and intelligence officials in nine countries who have been privy to the international investigation into the sabotage incident which has threatened European energy supplies going into winter.

Oh that's right. Russia happened to them. Yet, the US in general stupidity is going to send more to Ukraine.

It isn't the people of the US and Nato countries that are sending 'stuff' to Ukraine. It's the leaders. It isn't the general populace of the US and Nato countries that are against Russia. It the manipulation by the lying media of those countries... which is controlled by the government leaders behind the scenes.

So, people die for this stupid nonsense... which in reality is making a bunch of money for the leaders.

Washington Is Prolonging Ukraine's Suffering

During a speech given on November 29, Polish Vice-Minister of National Defense (MON) Marcin Ociepa said: "The probability of a war in which we will be involved is very high. Too high for us to treat this scenario only hypothetically." The Polish MON is allegedly planning to call up 200,000 reservists in 2023 for a few weeks' training, but observers in Warsaw suspect this action could easily lead to a national mobilization.

Meanwhile, inside the Biden administration, there is growing concern that the Ukrainian war effort will collapse under the weight of a Russian offensive. And as the ground in Southern Ukraine finally freezes, the administration's fears are justified. In an interview published in the Economist, head of Ukraine's armed forces General Valery Zaluzhny admitted that Russian mobilization and tactics are working. He even hinted that Ukrainian forces might be unable to withstand the coming Russian onslaught.

...

The Biden administration’s unconditional support for the Zelensky regime in Kiev is reaching a strategic inflection point not unlike the one LBJ reached in 1965. Just as LBJ suddenly determined in 1964 that peace and security in Southeast Asia was a vital U.S. strategic interest, the Biden administration is making a similar argument now for Ukraine. Like South Vietnam in the 1960s, Ukraine is losing its war with Russia.
