3244  Other / Meta / Re: About releases of IP addresses and other info on: January 08, 2014, 03:38:18 AM
I know this thread has been necroed but still a solid topic. Revealing the IP of some of these serial scammers could be a bit of a deterrent for future scams.
3245  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Selling 0.82 BTC for paypal on: January 08, 2014, 03:30:25 AM
Excuse my ignorance, but how does someone like this scam with Paypal? I thought you can just initiate a chargeback if he didn't deliver on the bitcoins? Is he somehow withdrawing the paypal funds before a chargeback can be done? I thought Paypal would hold his funds if a dispute comes up?

Straight from the scammer's mouth what he does.

2014 is going to be a very encouraging year but 2015 is widespread approval and usage
3252  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Exploit? on: January 07, 2014, 03:20:29 AM
Type "arbitrage" in the search box.

You'd have to figure out how to get your fiat out of mtgox and into another exchange in less than six months.

Right now at coinbase I can buy/sell one bitcoin for 932, at mt.gox I can buy/sell one for $1018. Thats a crazy amount of money...
Yes, but the time it takes to transfer USD to coinbase after selling on Gox means what you're doing is effectively gambling--there's no way to tell which exchange will have a lower USD/BTC price once your money finally arrives, and the price of Bitcoin could change dramatically while your money is being transfered. Arbitrage sometimes works on smaller altcoins with fast transaction speeds, but since Cryptsy's (the only exchange that has enough volume with most coins to make arbitrage feasible) deposit/withdrawal systems are so incredibly slow/broken, it's usually not worth your while.

This is a great first post/explanation of why it isn't super easy to buy/sell on multiple exchanges.
3253  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Told you so, OverStock.com pushed price of Bitcoin over $1000 on: January 07, 2014, 03:17:58 AM
For some reason I dont think overstock news is going to make bitcoin jump 20%
3254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [QRK] Quark | Super secure hashing | CPU mining on: January 07, 2014, 02:22:40 AM
why is quark more viable than any other alt-coin? I don't see any of these coins having a long enough shelf life to even compete with bitcoin. Businesses accepting 100s of alt coins? I can't picture it.
3255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins dying???? on: January 06, 2014, 08:45:00 PM
All of the alt coins are being pump and dumped. Which coin has a legitimate purpose or future?  Also most are falling in value because they are tied to btc/ltc and those are on the rise. If the price remained the same on the alt coins, they would be gaining value.

3257  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTB] 0.6BTC through PayPal on: January 05, 2014, 09:42:55 AM
he scammed me too...didnt you see the feedback I left him before trading?

His profile he linked me on hackforums where he's also banned: http://www.hackforums.net/member.php?action=profile&uid=1981424

Another fake email to the list: aygund@hotmail.co.uk

He uses all fake information. Only IP I found was traced to UK but probably not right. if someone found his real info, I would find him.

3259  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTB 0.1-0.3 BTC for PAYPAL -have trust- on: January 02, 2014, 04:24:28 AM
That is ok man, the feeling is mutual.

I would never ever send 0.0000001BTC to someone with the chance to get the money claim back within 45 day from paypal.  Grin

I guess me and all other human with common sense. That is the reason why your thread not running.

Trading with paypal is not a problem if you find someone that is trustworthy. In this case, no one will even want to trade with you (in pp) since you have no trust. There are lots of people (trusted) who trade using pp, and i have a lot of customers trade using that platform.

I don't think this is the case. Look at his trust, all are about btc/pp trading.

thank you cxboyminer

some people just want to start drama
3260  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTB 0.1-0.3 BTC for PAYPAL -have trust- on: January 02, 2014, 04:05:57 AM
Hahahaha to add in the Thread name -have trust- will increase your trust level enormous.

I know you have nothing better to do than to stalk my thread, but that means I'm only trading with users who have trust. Meaning I wouldn't trade with you.  I know you have a hard-on for me man but I dont feel that way about you.
