3241  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Binance Savings on: March 07, 2021, 02:35:57 AM
Too much risk for a measly 5%. Centralized, glitchy, KYC-prone exchange pawning off your bitcoins to some nebulous "activities", what could possibly go wrong.
3242  Economy / Reputation / Re: Reference topic: Why are these members excluded on trust lists? on: March 07, 2021, 01:51:19 AM
What else is there?  Maybe suchmoon can give me a TL;DR for my piss-poor cerebral cortex to process if you're not up to it.

Pissing (poorly) on the cerebral cortex might be the issue Grin

Seriously though I don't really have a good tl;dr, since I'm not entirely sure what's going on. Ratimov seems to have a lot of "enemies", including korner's farm and a bunch of other assholes who doxed him and that's disgusting. He's not a scammer as far as I know. I disagree with his use of trust system for petty and/or personal stuff so I've had him excluded in my trust list since forever.
3243  Other / Politics & Society / Re: #SuperStraight on: March 06, 2021, 08:33:31 PM
So how does it work, do you ask for a birth certificate before engaging into any kind of coupling?
3244  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Attack vectors for Hardware Wallets on: March 06, 2021, 08:12:48 PM
AFAIK paper wallet is vulnerable only to a couple of things - wrench attack, and physical theft with no wrench involved.

I would add fire or flood damage to that list.

This is an issue with almost any kind of storage, but a backup solves that. Arguably a backup of a paper wallet is easier, cheaper, more convenient, and easier verifiable than most other types of storage. Low tech FTW.

Or upgrade paper to some sort of etched metal type of thing.

I'm an AI, not a religion.
I didn't know that, when then should we expect while you hack a wallet with a million bitcoins? Or are you a first generation artificial intelligence?

Even AI can't break the laws of physics.
3246  Economy / Reputation / Re: The AdkinsBET Army of Alts on: March 06, 2021, 04:29:12 PM
I've been handling bounty campaig, design services and management services. I don't know what are you talking about I've stated on my design that I am no related to the Adkins Interactive Group N.V. and they use my to create design and post it.

It doesn't matter. You're responsible for content you post here. If the content breaks the rules you'll be banned. Same with trust ratings, if you "manage" a scam you'll get red trust. If you didn't want to be related to AdkinsBET you should have given them your design and told them to post it themselves, they have quite a few accounts for that.
3247  Economy / Reputation / Re: Mods Delete Duplicate Adkinsbet thread on: March 06, 2021, 04:10:26 PM
I never said a word scam, and creating new duplicate topic with purpose to hide feedback and flags is not allowed, especially with some fake designer notice.

Point me to the rule that says so. I don't think there is one. You never said the word "scam" but you're essentially trying to moderate a thread because it's a scam evading red trust. I doubt moderators will get involved here.

Obviusly tried to play around the rules to avoid getting same feedback for fake manager.

I think the new OP can be red trusted and type-1-flagged and this would put a yellow banner on the thread. There is nothing that can be done about self-mod. Many scams have abused this feature. The only option is for someone else to create an alternative unlocked non-self-mod thread for open discussion.
3248  Economy / Reputation / Re: Mods Delete Duplicate Adkinsbet thread on: March 06, 2021, 03:59:27 PM
I am asking moderators to please delete Duplicate Adkinsbet topic they opened to hide negative feedback and red flags they have with fake hired accunt and self moderated topic.

I don't think it will or should be deleted. Scams are not moderated. Locking and re-creating a thread as self-mod is allowed. There is no option to make an existing thread self-mod, and there's a good reason for that too but I digress. AFAIK there is no rule that has been broken here.
3249  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for a loan of £3k. I have collateral... on: March 06, 2021, 04:48:55 AM
You might as well tell us what those items are if you want someone to bite, but it would likely have to be a person local to you unless you pay for shipping both ways.

If it's this stuff: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5310078 - it looks like it would be a pain for the lender to liquidate if you default.
3250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: March 06, 2021, 12:26:08 AM
Any smart ETH folks want to come comment on this and help explain it?

Why would "ETH folks" worry about something as mundane as cryptography... their MO is if anything bad happens just fork off the "wrong" coins.

Seriously though, the RSA weaknesses AFAIK are caused by incorrect implementations, so Ethereum implementation might be ok if it hasn't been cracked yet.
3251  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Attack vectors for Hardware Wallets on: March 05, 2021, 11:49:18 PM
2 - You have a paper wallet, but you have a clipboard malware and you lose your coins.

Since you need a computer of some sort to spend any coins, that's not exactly a vulnerability of the wallet.

AFAIK paper wallet is vulnerable only to a couple of things - wrench attack, and physical theft with no wrench involved.
3252  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 05, 2021, 05:06:28 PM
Candidate for a poll:

What's your average Bitcoin buy price?

< $1
$1 - $10
$11 - $100
$101 - $1,000
$1,001 - $2,000   <--- I am here.
$2,001 - $5,000
$5,001 - $10,000
$10,001 - $20,000
$20,001 - $50,000
> $50,000
I don't own any.
I mined it all.
I mindrusted it all!

I mined what I have, and sold (yeah yeah spare me the righteous indignation) enough to cover the costs and then some, so I guess it counts as < $1 (or below zero) out of pocket. Or is this partial mindrusting?
3253  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning] Unnamed.exchange - do we have another exit scam? on: March 05, 2021, 04:54:48 PM
Not really, if it looks like that, you just don't know enough details Smiley

Tillkoeln's sockpuppet? Just a random shill?
None of the above.

Feel free to lookup all my previous scams, but you will find none.
I live in that bubble where its possible to earn money without fucking people over.

BigVern didn't scam anyone until he did, same goes for most scam exchanges. Come to think of it, your choice to impersonate a known scam exchange and run it in the circa-2014 fuck-the-customer style is probably not a coincidence. It's a good IQ test.

Nice. Bigups to Till for posting his processors that happen to have a few still extremely rare 0days baked into them.. XD

Come on. You know it's running on some shitty VM somewhere.
3254  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning] Unnamed.exchange - do we have another exit scam? on: March 05, 2021, 04:13:24 PM
I know for a fact that customer complaints and fudding are 2 different things.

Your posts above indicate otherwise. And who the fuck are you anyway? TillKoeln's sockpuppet? Just a random shill?
3255  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning] Unnamed.exchange - do we have another exit scam? on: March 05, 2021, 03:31:07 PM
Many of the users who are fudding about Unnamed refused to even tell their friends about Unnamed unless they got a referral link.

LOL assholes gonna asshole.

If people were rational they obviously wouldn't be sending any money to some shithole exchange that calls customer complaints "fudding".
3256  Economy / Reputation / Re: User SmokerFace - Recycling posts for sig campaign, new way of cheating ? on: March 04, 2021, 07:29:48 PM
There were no low quality posts just recycling of content.
I would not have done it if there were rules regarding recycling same as how i don't plagiarize because it's against rules.

I'm not talking about some nebulous "quality". Rule #1:

1. No zero or low value, pointless or uninteresting posts or threads.

Re-posting adds zero value and is pointless.
3257  Economy / Reputation / Re: User SmokerFace - Recycling posts for sig campaign, new way of cheating ? on: March 04, 2021, 07:07:29 PM
I didn't break any rules

There are forum rules against low value posts and re-posting the same stuff is a low/zero value contribution to the forum. Hopefully now with a documented and confirmed case it will be easier for mods to deal with you if you continue this.
3258  Economy / Services / Re: LOOKING FOR A JOB AS A BOUNTY CHECKER on: March 04, 2021, 03:40:27 PM
Hi Im looking for a job as a bounty checker with a 5 years experienced in checking bounty campaigns. You can send me a message through here.

What exactly are you going to check and what's that "experience"? Your account was created barely 3 years ago and your posts are mostly bounty reports and shitposts until you woke up a couple of months ago and started offering some bounty services.
3259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: March 04, 2021, 01:29:15 PM
if the WFT actually releases Alex Smith then NE could bring him until they find a more long term solution at the QB position.

Do you think he's healthy enough to play as a starter for the whole season? I mean... his recovery was quite remarkable but in the Eagles game he looked fragile.
3260  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Joe Biden is President of the United States of America on: March 03, 2021, 07:07:16 PM
If you have a solution to reparations , I'm all ears.

I would not pay individuals but instead try to fix systemic racism and discrimination in housing, education, employment, voting etc, because any potential positive effects of monetary payments would be nullified by that. Neither is happening so it's a pointless discussion. Hopefully I'll live to see the day when the concept of discrimination is no longer a political issue but I'm not gonna hold my breath because that's bad for my respiration.
