3241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the next $billion dollars coin on: May 23, 2017, 10:03:04 AM
i think the next billion dollar coins are monero and waves

what is your next billion dollar coin/s?

zcash have a reason to be the next big thing, also lbry both are very undervalued imho, monero is a good target but zcash is currently pumped like nothing else, if they can do another 2x pump it can touch 1 billion marketcap
3242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DOGE - to the moon on: May 22, 2017, 04:41:32 PM
Short Doge soon back to 20 sats.  Grin
20 sat? Think those days are gone

i also think so, now there are more money in crypto, new range could be 100 satoshi 200 satoshi, to play buy back and get profit, but it's not sure, to many coins got pumped today, it's inevitable that some of them will crash eventually
3243  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: We're in a bubble on: May 22, 2017, 04:37:53 PM
I'm not wrong and I'm not arguing, since last year I predicted BTC will reach $2k by this Summer, but I was also expecting some actions by core developers (and "hard fork supporters") to be made. But it looks like hard fork is probably inevitable and this can result in some huge financial losses.

not sure if it's inevitable, UASF is forcing miner to go with segwit, there are still hope to have segwit activated before the hard fork happen, if that will be true the value will increase even more than what we have now, and i don't understand why 1% of gold market should be considered a huge goal, crypto should be on par with gold if everything go well with bitcoin imho
3244  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★No.1 BITCOIN BINARY OPTIONS & DICE★HIGHEST REWARD 190%★1%edge on: May 22, 2017, 04:33:16 PM
i guess this is like whalesclub or 1broker where if many call long you close the other possible long orders and open only the short order right? i don't like this it kill my profit, because if i want to get long when i can not and i know the price will increase, i'm screwed, and why this work only with bitcoin and not if you trade with forex without bitcoin?
3245  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What BTC related business would you do if you had $100.000 on: May 22, 2017, 04:29:01 PM
^

as the title says.

I would create an exchange website with so many payment options and try to make the btc community bigger!
What would you guys do?

i would open a mining farm, with that huge investment i could buy 30+ rig, and earn a lot of money now, i would roi in 3 months and then earn 100k every 3 month or more, if bitcoin and altcoin continue to increase, it's the best investement you can have today, no other investement come close, and what i like about this is thta there is no risk
3246  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Miners are obviously scared of UASF setting a precedent on: May 22, 2017, 04:27:22 PM
The miners are heavily invested in bitcoin. Why wouldn't they support whatever is needed for bitcoin to grow and succeed?

because i think they get more in fee now then when they activate segwit, miners now get many bitcoin with their huge fee, they like this and don't want to change, otherwise why do you think we are still stuck there undecided?  and UASF is done because of this reason, otherwise there will be never an greement on segwit
3247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why altcoin prices down when bitcoin up. on: May 22, 2017, 10:54:27 AM
Bitcoin grows, people sell alts. Bitcoin drops, people sell btc. Right?

no i don't think it work in that way, i think when bitcoin grow is because more people outside of this world ar ebuying, so more fiat in bitcoin get in, when bitcoin drop soem money are moving to alt yes, but to buy altcoin you need bitcoin, and to buy bitcoin you need fiat, so if you see a pump on all altcoin, you also see a pump on bitcoin first because you can't get altcoin with fiat, which is what is happening now i think
3248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help to create new type of currency on: May 22, 2017, 10:49:42 AM
please don't , unless you have a revoluzionary idea that would be groundbreaking for this crypto-world, otherwise you are just flooding the market with another useless clone of what we have already, but if the idea behind your project is original i want to support it, my idea for example is to have a coin that have the block reward based on the volume on exchange, big block reward if volume is high otherwise low if the volume is low, what do you think about this?
3249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: About altcoin on: May 22, 2017, 10:46:58 AM
Altcoins are pretty diverse now, they can be used as an actual currency, a more anonymous alternative for bitcoin, as a share for a company, as a fundraiser token for a certain cause, etc. Every single one of them is unique in a way, something common among many of them unfortunately is that the developers are actually scammers or they just give up the project.

where they can be used as a currency? none of the altcoin minus monero can be used as a currency, altcoin are useless for that, bitcoin is the king for that reason, and they are not all unique like you said many are copy paste useless scam lol, there is nothing unique about them, only maybe the top 10 are unique all the other are clone of those top 10 or clone of bitcoin itself
3250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: With BTC Problems, I would Like to Look at an EASY to use Alt on: May 22, 2017, 10:40:36 AM
...

I am *completely new* to Altcoins, but am getting fed-up with the problems of Bitcoin confirmation times and high fees.  I am considering alternatives for some of my crypto holdings.

I saw no obvious thread for altcoin beginners here just now.

What "Alts" are reasonably easy to use yet fairly liquid (easy to buy, etc.)?

At this point, ease-of use is most important to me, if I go down "Alt Road", I may later want to look at features like better than BTC anonymity for example.

Thank you for any suggestions!   Smiley

you don't use altcoin sadly, they are all pump and dump i can't use liek bitcoin to buy stuff, that is the beauty of bitcoin and no alt can match this, but you can try with monero and litecoin, monero is used on the deepweb and litecoin was used in the past and accepted by some online website, not sure if they still accept it now
3251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: We're in a bubble on: May 21, 2017, 03:51:34 PM
I think everyone with at least half a brain knows we are in a bubble. What's the reason of latest Bitcoin increase? 100s of thousands unconfirmed transactions? How about all these crowdsales and ICOs based on Ethereum? All these "exciting" projects? Why DGB is close to 900 satoshi? DOGE? My personal opinion is that the price of a coin (or whatever) should be justified with usage and I don't think that usage of digital currencies has increased THIS much. Don't get me wrong - I'm also excited with the latest BTC increase and everything, but I'm always thinking about the future and now I think it looks scary...

how can you say that we are 100% in a bubble and not in a liquidity explosion? how can you deline the line between the two? i never seen a bubble like this, this is of course possible because more people, newbie probably get in now, if it was only a bubble it shoudl have popped already, real bubble are done buy whale and not blindly like this one, and they fade away quickly, now everything is pumped because more money are in, money that will not go away, if there is profit
3252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is the next coin +100% tomorrow this time? on: May 21, 2017, 03:49:30 PM
At this pumping rate if you choose the right coin and invest 1 BTC you will have 2 BTC tomorrow.

Which is the next coin to sustain this?

invest in coins that have lower than 1000 or 10k satoshi value, investors are aiming at these coins now, profit is guaranteed trust me, just look at all the recent small coins, ALL pumped, try to diversificate a bit and do 10% each one with cheap value
3253  Economy / Economics / Re: Is anyone else done with this BTC game? on: May 21, 2017, 03:48:09 PM
I'm out of this. I've mined and traded for hundreds of bitcoins since 2013. Got rid of a lot of that in the past year during the climb but this past few months is just ridiculous. There is no reasonable expectation for the price to stay high, and "hope" for even higher prices can't possibly outweigh the potential loss if this doesn't work out.
I can't be alone in thinking, enough is enough. I see so many posts by guys with one or ten btc, hoping for astronomical numbers, but where are the rest of the people like me who had a few hundred and can actually do something with that now. I wish I'd started mining a year or two earlier when I first heard of it. If I was sitting on a few thousand BTC right now, holding half of that and cashing out half makes sense. But where I was, keeping a few for some dream number doesn't really make a difference in my life.

I never got into altcoins enough to matter, although it would have been nice to put a few grand into ETH last year, but it's just another useless product that could have failed like so many others, and I doubt I would have held it through 5-10x increases.

So what do you guys say. Is this it for you? This is more than I'd ever imagined to get from BTC. This could turn around in a few days if people catch another panic selloff. Are you being greedy? Am I just dumb for wanting to enjoy life now?

this is just the beginning mate, whatever you were seeing before this pump was just the warm up to prepeare bitcoin to reach the sky, i agree that there is still much missing here like block limit, more user friendly wallet, and more security for people thta don't know anythign about bitcoin, but all this will be fixed in the future, bitcoin is sure a great invention you can't just be done with it, bitcoin is here to stay it's not a thing that will be forgotten, it's a revolution like it was for internet
3254  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If I were Satoshi Nakamoto... on: May 21, 2017, 03:45:06 PM
If you were Satoshi Nakamoto, would you:

  • reveal yourself?
  • if so, how would you do this?
  • what would you think of Bitcoin today?
  • what would you think of altcoins today?

  • reveal yourself?
no why i should? would be stupid to reveal and risk someone stealing my huge amount of coins

  • if so, how would you do this?
just sign the first block with a signed message, this prove that you are satoshi

  • what would you think of Bitcoin today?
that is missing something for average people

  • what would you think of altcoins today?
that can be used more instead of pump and dump fest only
3255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In terms of acceptance of bitcoins... on: May 21, 2017, 03:37:13 PM
in our world today, lots of people have accepted bitcoin and has been using it.
But the majority, still won't accept the concept of bitcoin and its usefulness and still prefer fiat money.
As how closed those other people's minds are right now, how much time do you think it would take for everyone to accept the concept of bitcoins??
Or is it just a childish dream and will never happen??

i think without the block limit fixed the other people, not tech savy will not accept bitcoin, no one of these people will ever pay $1 or more to send $10 or so, these people are the oen that don't move much money and they often do micro transaction, and bitoin is bad at micro transaction, if we can't solve this i'm afraid bitcoin won't be accepted in all part of the world
3256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Best way to mine Skein on RX 470/480/570/580? on: May 21, 2017, 10:52:08 AM
i don't think clymore have something with skein if you want a good miner thta mine all algo for amd, i suggest sgminer, there is an ann regarding the development of sgminer https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=632503.0, or take a look at the djm34 or wolfo work for better performance, but it guess they have an improved private miners, and i'm afraid you need to pay for that
3257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DOGE slowly moving to 100 satoshi resistance level on: May 21, 2017, 10:50:31 AM
DOGE is now trading at 115 satoshi. Will it hold or break-out to the next resistance?

doge can go very high like digibyte and sia, both cois are small coins, and investors like small coin, they are very easy to pump, it's not so unlikely to think that doge cna also reach 800 satoshi, it's better to invest some bitcoin now that the value is still low
3258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many different alts do you hold? list your top 10 by amount held. on: May 21, 2017, 09:42:20 AM
So how diversified are you?
How many alts do you own (at least 0.05 BTC worth to consider as holding)... like 3 doge coins does not count as holding doge. So like 100 bux is a mini stake in a coin and considered holding.

List you top 10 in order of amount held.
You can list your reasoning beside each coin if you like too.
You can be specific if you like.

I hold 22 alts

1 - 22 and why you own each one if you like.

i own like 16, but many are scam i know, i'm just waiting for the pump to dump them and forgot, lol, other i think are strong good coins, like spradcoin and nexus, picoin, Bitcore and netko, i want to hold those to see if the value will be better, some of them are very cheap now, and investors seems to aim at cheap coin to make a faster pump, i'm in a good boat i think
3259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin noobs beware on: May 21, 2017, 09:40:00 AM
One advise for altcoin newcomers:

If you see hundreds of different newbie accounts advertising coin x chances are pretty high that the accounts are just sockpuppets for a pump and dump.

Either you guys dont buy the coin at all or play the game and sell before it's to late!
Good luck Smiley

people here are only about the profit, if they can make profit out of a coin they would not care at all if the coin is a scam or the dev is a scammers or anything like that, you get plenty of example where many stupid coins are pumped and dumped just for the money, and those coins offer zero addition to crypto are just there to scam people
3260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Survey] What would it take for you to quit ? on: May 21, 2017, 09:37:57 AM
i'll never quit until mining is profitable why should i? but if mining will be very centralized and only big farm chinese can mine in gpu in the future, or the diff will be too high for gpu miing, i would probably quit minign altcoin, and remain with trading only
