Will definitely try Bustabit and Primedice, the most interesting and unique concept is Bustabit's so far, it really appeals to me, it's the exact definition of simple.
@Ultegra134

It seems to me that you are looking to spend money for fun and not get rich with the luck of winning a big prize.
In any case, think about what you would do if you were lucky enough to win a big bet. Obviously, I think you would try to withdraw a part of it, at least half.
In that case, of all the options that they already told you, I didn't see anyone talking about KYC... read the terms of use of the site and make sure the maximum withdrawal limits and if when you need to do KYC.
I am definitely not planning to lose my money, I know, I won't always win of course, but I'm willing to deposit a small amount of Bitcoin, such as 1 mBTC to mess around.
There's obviously a bunch of alternatives, many of the ones mentioned here are the more popular ones. I'm surprised people aren't mentioning Bitcasino and FortuneJack though, as these are some of the more popular traditional online casinos that are crypto focused.
It is not a suggestion or a recommendation but just a tip.

There are a lot of members here that wear their signatures of a gambling site. If you want to check trusted gambling sites, most of them are worn and their campaigns started for a long time now. There are a lot of them so you could just check them out and try some of them or maybe deposit on the site that you are comfortable to play to.
Definitely, I've noticed that there's an abundance of trusted gambling sites that are advertised here through signature campaigns. Roobet, 777coin, Bitvest and Stake.com are some of which I'm willing to try.
3242  Economy / Speculation / Re: $27000 or $35000? Which will Bitcoin head to at the end of Jan.? on: January 28, 2021, 05:44:13 PM
Reached 29K a while ago but managed to climb again to 30K so it seems there is strong resistance building up or we are just preparing for a huge long bearish dump after sideway movements.

Expect the worst ever scenario can happen so you won't be disappointed even if that happens and if it doesn't then you are a happy man.

It resembles a bear trap. Short-term investors who sell their coins right now will regret their decision later (after a few months). The current situation resembles what happened in 2017. For the first two-three months, the prices remained stable, before the bull run resumed. The same may happen this time as well. Don't expect the bull run to resume immediately. Prices are going to remain stable for the next few months.

In a bullish season, short term investors are going to get REKT. And I agree that this is 2017 all over again, first months are really a struggle, actually the first quarter, and then we have a few bumps, but the third quarter was also full of corrections and dips. And then we take off in the last quarter. If history repeats itself then we might see a new all time high before the end of this year. Best case scenario is a 6 digit figure for the first time.
I don't think it's anything similar with 2017's incident. The price is relatively stable the past week. I highly doubt that it is suddenly going to crash down to $20k for example. It will probably be quite volatile for the next few weeks.

Today, Bitcoin made an approximately 5% recovery, but I think it's probably going to crash again by tomorrow. It will probably continue in this vicious cycle for quite a while.
3243  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don’t Panic on: January 27, 2021, 09:38:13 PM
What ever you guys do, don’t eeever check BTC’s monthly chart.

Does that shooting star scare you? Tongue

Let's wait and see how January's candle closes. Volatility is quite high at the moment, so 4.5 days is still a lot of price action. I'm not sure it'll close as a shooting star.

Also, single candlestick patterns aren't that reliable. I can't tell you how many BTCUSD bearish shooting stars I've seen engulfed to the upside. Until we see a second bearish monthly candle holding below this month's low, I wouldn't read too much into it.
I've been on the lookout the past few days, I've bought BTC, Eth and Litecoin, volatility has been extremely high the past few days. Not panicking is easy to say, hard to do. I'm sitting here, seeing my investment/hard-earned cash, gaining value, then losing value, then gaining again, and the story keeps going like that, without generating any profit. The market looks depressing now, at least for me.

I hope it recovers the following weeks.
3244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the point of so many cryptocurrencies? on: January 27, 2021, 08:29:57 PM
For the same reason so many cigarette brands exist. Just kidding.
It's mostly due to the extensive freedom regarding their creation process, anyone can create an Altcoin, without many prerequisites. Others were created to compete with Bitcoin, or to offer something different, such as better anonimity, or something that Bitcoin can't do. Others were created for scam purposes or for entertainment, such as Dogecoin.

Likewise, investing in Altcoins can sometimes turn into large returns in terms of profit.
3245  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: FreeBitcoin deposit interest on: January 27, 2021, 05:37:06 PM
I definitely get why someone wouldn't deposit Bitcoin somewhere that he has no access to. And we're generally speaking here, not only in FreeBitcoin, despite being the oldest and most trusted faucet. However, I don't think that a 4.08% interest is that insignificant. I haven't seen a bank here with that kind of interest lol.

Bitcoin still has the potential to rise maybe even 10x or more. Compared to that 4.08% is insignificant, especially considering the risks.

I mean that no matter how old and reputed the website is, it's still a 3rd party and ... "not your keys, not your coins" - anything can happen, from theft to inside job and exit scam, no matter who are we talking about. Of course, the chance is usually small, however it makes the 4.08% benefit insignificant.
Definitely, the security issue is the one to keep in mind when dealing with any third party, trusted or not. I just want to show how this could be useful to some holders, who have Bitcoin aside and could profit from such an interest. I've made the same mistake by keeping my Bitcoin on Bitstamp.
3246  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: FreeBitcoin deposit interest on: January 27, 2021, 04:49:12 PM
I would not keep a significant amount of BTC on any custodial service for simply 4% yearly interest. Bitcoin price will increase more than that in USD value if you just simply hold it. In all the years I've been using FreeBitco.in I have earned more from referrals than from the interest. If you want to earn passive income then I would suggest trying to refer as many people as you can.
The method by which I prefer to go is not to keep all your Bitcoins in one place. Freebitcoin is a very trusted a d reputed site no doubt. Me being one of the 200$ rare faucet winner. Still in case you are looking to invest, put in 10% of your bankroll for investment.

The amount that you get per year is like a bank deposit which has close but not exact interest rate. This might be a good thing in case you don't want to trade with that amount but don't want it lying in the wallet.

I do trust their method of making money, which is essentially mining with their own rigs. This comes from being the oldest bitcoin faucet in the internet.

However, most of us that own Bitcoin, have some aside and some in use, (That's my guess, might be wrong). Personally, I have some lying around and some more that I am using for trading purposes. So, why not take advantage of some interest, if that's possible. I'd be mostly concerned about safety issues.
3247  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC drop an opportunity to buy on: January 27, 2021, 03:19:54 PM
I am not quite sure if it actually is the perfect opportunity to buy, I bought yesterday, along with Ethereum and Litecoin and guess what, all of them fell to a large degree today. Stupid me. The market looks like it is going downhill, you may buy now, but tomorrow it might be at an even lower price that the day before.

It's best to be patient and cautious of any moves we make, I wasn't.
3248  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: I am being mercilessly scammed by somone from the bitcoin world on: January 26, 2021, 09:46:07 PM
Do NOT click on any links in the emails as they will probably attempt to load malware on your system!
Then tag them as spam so they go into your spam folder to eventually be deleted.
I doubt it's what you said, nothing to do with malware. It's a phising attempt, they are trying to obtain usernames and passwords to access anything that can be related to OP (Wallets, exchanges, emails, accounts).

Just declare it as spam and be done with it, ignore any further emails that you may receive in the future.
3249  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Alert: stay away from new type of bitcoin scam on: January 26, 2021, 08:27:44 PM
There are numerous websites which claims to double your Bitcoin within 24 hours and I have heard from some of the victims that they just don't allow you to withdraw by asking you to deposit more bitcoin's in order to withdraw this end up cheating you without even returning your capital investment. Just to make their telegram look more genuine there are imposter accounts with names from multiple nationalities. Be aware guys as no one would be able to give you 100% profit within 24 hours so it's a scams and stay away from it. I will share futher details shortly.

There would be numerous testimonials in the telegram group which you guys will be added it's all fake.

Okay, let's be serious here. I've been seeing these so-called Bitcoin "doublers" for years now, I guess now, that the price has skyrocketed they've become a lot more common. Who in the right mind, would send to an anonymous website their money/Bitcoin? Ponzi schemes are literally everywhere, if someone is dumb enough to be scammed like that, he was probably asking for it.
3250  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Newbie gambling sites on: January 26, 2021, 07:26:36 PM
Also depending on what you are looking for. Are you looking for a casino or a sportsbook where you want to gamble? There is a big difference.

There are many good betting sites, it is difficult to pinpoint the best one.
I understand, I am definitely not expecting someone to pinpoint the best website, there is probably an abundance of them, just looking for some that have been used and are trusted by other users here. Just looking for some positive feedback.

However, I am looking for a casino style one to gamble, I am not into sports or betting whatsoever, thus, casino style ones are the suit me best.
3251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Newbie gambling sites on: January 26, 2021, 06:14:33 PM
There are sites like sportsbet.io, Stake.com, FortuneJack.com. You can use any of them. All of them have sportsbook also casinos, with higher reputation in the industry.

Good luck.

I had noticed sites like those you suggested but never really bothered to browse them, mostly due to their name, though it was mostly sport betting. I'll check out a few of them and choose.

I would like to deposit a small amount of Bitcoin for gambling purposes. I would like a few suggestions of websites that have you've used yourself and are trusted/safe to use for newbie gamblers?
Not interested in sport betting or anything similar, just something to try my luck and kill some time once in a while.

I would recommend Bustabit, it's really an entertaining platform you could make interaction with other players and fool around I mean expressing yourself or blaming the developer of the game if you lose it's kinda fun and really time killer for me. For reference https://www.bustabit.com/play

Looks promising and quite entertaining actually, will definitely check it out. I'm planning to deposit right away.

Thank you both!

3253  Economy / Service Discussion / FreeBitcoin deposit interest on: January 26, 2021, 03:10:11 PM
I hope that this is the right subforum.

I've stumbled upon FreeBitcoin, and it supposedly offers 4.08% interest for keeping your Bitcoin there. The interest is paid on a daily basis.
Supposing you deposit (1) one Bitcoin, you'd receive the following:
DAILY INTEREST: 0.00010958 BTC
MONTHLY INTEREST (30D)0.00329289 BTC
YEARLY INTEREST (365D)0.04080505 BTC

Considering the rate as we speak ($31.400), that's $3.5/day or $104/month, ~ $1300/year. Not bad at all, Aye?
Supposing you have a decent balance, and you're a holder, would you make a deposit to take advantage of the yearly interest?
Do you trust this specific service? I only know that it has been around for quite a long time, I remember using their faucet many years ago, (it paid around 800-1000 Satoshi each roll. Good ol' times )

P.S. I am not promoting or suggesting this service by any means, this post is purely for discussion purposes.
3254  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there subject to study Cryptocurrency ? on: January 25, 2021, 11:31:30 PM
There are plenty of courses on Coursera, which also offer a certified degree of completion, There are probably a few others too, but from my experience, Coursera offers quality courses, that I've also completed for the economics section I'm studying.

Edx is also a good choice, I've used that too but haven't completed any courses there. There's also Udemy, but the quality can't compete with the previous two I mentioned.

3255  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is It Another Chance for BTC to Hit $40K This Week? on: January 25, 2021, 10:45:13 PM
Post mentions about the price approaching $20k, which I find extremely unlikely/won't ever happen. Although, I even find the $40k mark to be quite difficult to surpass within the week. The price showed improvement today, I managed to sell for profit, but quickly crashed downwards. If it does happen, it might do within the weekend, but I'm really concerned if something like that will happen for the time being.
3256  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Bitcoin transaction from Blockchain.info wallet taking a looong time on: January 25, 2021, 10:28:19 PM
Hey guys, I made a Bitcoin transaction from my Blockchain.info wallet to a wallet created in Bitcoin Core but the transaction seems to be stuck.

I chose the "regular" fee option when sending the transaction from Blockchain.info, but it has been more almost 9 hours and not a single confirmation has happened.

Here is the transaction Id: 74a7cb0cbb221d9821a68b97cd06d49cc18810e2ca92c0545185688ba4d85392

Is there anything I can do? How long will it take? If it gets rejected, how long will it take to get the Bitcoins back to the original Blockchain.info wallet?
There are a few free Bitcoin transaction accelerators online such as Btcnitro. Not sure about their effectiveness but they're free, so I don't see why not give it a shot. I've used them a couple of times and it does look like it confirms a little faster.

I also had one transaction, about a month ago, that took more than 12 hours to confirm, had used a medium priority fee (Through BitGo)
3257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is ETH where BTC was in early 2017? on: January 25, 2021, 07:17:14 PM
Why it would be foolish to think about the graph between bitcoin and ethereum were correlating from one to the each other?
The hardcap supply of ethereum is not yet determined and you can imagine how much it will worth when it reached the total supply.
That's why the next consensus will become a big bet for the ethereum holders. I do believe 2k looks possible for each ethereum dude.
All Cryptocurrencies have a degree of correlation between them. I relatively present since the early days of 2017, it was priced at approximately $10-20 at that time. I think that it's going to remain second in market cap and stay as the king of altcoins. Likewise, I think that even now, that the price is at around $1.400, is a worthy investment. Sometimes, when trading, I regret buying fractions of BTC, instead of Ethereum.
3258  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you deal with 'Selling early' regrets? on: January 24, 2021, 10:36:49 PM
Plain and simple. Sell and never look back. Just about profit is profit so that you will not regret. Selling early is less painful than selling in loss dude.
But can you really do that? I cannot stand not to take a peek on how's the market going after selling Bitcoin. Half of the times I've recently sold, the price remained to similar levels after selling, so didn't really bother. There was this time though, it wasn't long ago, less than a month, that the price skyrocketed right after I sold, I did make a decent profit but still, it's annoying to see it happen.

Personally, I set a goal of achieving an X amount of profit, (Either in percentage or in cash). After surpassing that, I will monitor the price for a while and then sell. Then, try not to bother of what happens next.

3259  Economy / Economics / Re: The recent rise in prices, temporary or more long term? on: January 24, 2021, 10:00:32 PM
It was december 18th, 2017 when bitcoin hit 20K USD. Halving was in spring, 2016. We had the same situation this year, right? Halving happened during quarantine, bitcoin didn't fall and went high. As it was expected, bitcoin's price significantly rise in winter, as we reached 40K USD. I was hugely hoping that we would reach 50K and was holding my coins but decided to sell them at 32K (but still kept half). I don't have a hope that price will rise but there is still a good chance, we may hit 50K but after that, personally I wouldn't risk to hold coins.

If we have a look at previous statistics, then obviously this recent rise of bitcoin's price was just temporary and it's time to sell.
I was present when the price crashed in 2017, so I do understand why you wouldn't want to hold any coins if $50k happens any time soon. I don't know if I would keep any either to be honest. However, I do think that Bitcoin's price has now officially settled to be that high, I mean, I highly doubt that it is going to fall again, we're not going to see a 2017 price crash, for the time being at least.
3260  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should I sell or hold on my bitcoin? on: January 24, 2021, 04:42:23 PM
Hi Everyone, I have a dilemma since I am holding an wholesome portion of bitcoin. With all the speculation going on in the market I don't know whether to sell or hold on my bitcoin. I've been wanting for more than a week to see if bitcoin's price improves, but it is only falling more and more.

I've gone through dozens of analysts' blogs, websites, market cap sites, price prediction sites, and all the important bitcoin market sites to find the right answer. But I am still unsure.

So, can anyone please tell me if I should dump my bitcoins with some losses (selling at lesser price than the buying price), or should I hold on to it?

There is also another reason. A promising stock just opened up. So should I sell my bitcoins and but the new stock that I'm interested in?

Viketo Sumi (Armani123)
Just hold your Bitcoin, the price is low at the moment and I would advise against selling, especially now, since you'll be able to sell at a higher price soon enough. I wouldn't go around reading predictions if I were you, anyone can post anything. Bitcoin has shown that it has an upward pattern and always recovered from the depths.

If you really want to sell though (Supposing there's an emergency/you need cash), I'd advise you to wait a couple of days, see if the price recovers and then do what you think is best for yourself.
