3241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Manipulation of cryptocurrency exchanges. on: July 08, 2019, 06:44:12 AM
After looking at a lot of crypto exchanges, have you ever thought about price manipulation in exchange? Have you ever experienced or seen it. Share your experiences and I want to hear a whisper from you. Thank you.
I have never heard of price manipulation, and I don’t see how that can happen, because when it comes to the value of a coin, it has to be uniform with other exchanges too and with the popular coinmarketcap price, except maybe some countries that are witnessing arbitrage.

For now, the only think I know of exchanges is the issue of volume manipulation, and that is common with new exchanges because they sort of use it as promotional tools to attract users to their platform pending the time they get the real volume that is require making such exchange continue to run smoothly. For price manipulation, what reason would they have to do that? I do not see any, so I don’t know if there are exchanges that does that, and I have never come across any with such.
3242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Binance Exchange Is Launching Crypto Futures Trading Platform? on: July 08, 2019, 06:14:02 AM
Well!! Binance just announced Binance Futures which will support 20x leverage for Bitcoin futures in the coming months.

will binance is trying to improve its reputation among investors?

What's your take on this?
What else do you expect from them?Binance has always been a mentor to a lot of projects and users, and they have been the most reliable exchange that I ever know and we have lots of people that really respect them for this, they have to keep the fire burning, they need to keep coming with different innovations from time to time that will help them to continue to maintain their integrity and their reputation.

He more they develop, the more they will become attractive to more investors, and the more investors and users that they have, the more money that will go into their market which will in turn continue to appreciate their value. These are the kind of innovations that can make their investors stay with them for long without dumping their coin at any point.
3243  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A real decentralized exchange on: July 07, 2019, 04:27:21 PM
We have so many real decentralized exchanges out there which should have worked perfectly well for the system of cryptocurrency trades, and decentralization is the real purpose why we use cryptocurrency or why it was introduced, but the issue with most of these real decentralized exchange which the switch you mentioned is not left out is Volume, they hardly get the volume for their operation which is why they end up remaining dormant later.

No matter the hype you try to create, no matter that handwork you put in creating awareness for a decentralized exchange, people just seems not to look much into it , and they pay more attention to most of these centralized exchanges that are ripping them off their cash and enriching themselves. I am still waiting to see that DEX exchange that will overcome such challenge, and I hope that your switch succeeds.
3244  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't FOMO in if you don't have what it takes - PATIENCE! on: July 07, 2019, 03:29:31 PM
Well, the mere fact that he FOMOed in at $13,500, he was already up to something crazy sooner or later. You should have given him a lot of warnings by the time he entered at very bullish points. That was a red flag already, an indication that he was simply not ready to face the mind-boggling rise and fall of BTC. And true enough, here comes the hard correction, the emotional went into a breakdown.
Another thing I would also advise is for people not to jump into anything they are also not familiar with, if the case was that of 2017, I honestly would not have blamed him for buying at $13500 out of FOMO, because when the last bull run of 2017 started at $7000, it did not give much opportunity for correction, and that was how it continued surging for good seven week, but this time around, if he was already familiar with the way the market has been moving ever since the beginning of this year uptrend, he would have understood that the price was already approaching correction stage which would have been the wrongest time for him to make an entry then, imagine price shooting from 9K to 13.8k without correction, anyone familiar would have known that correction was imminent.
3245  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much money do I need to start investing on bitmex? on: July 06, 2019, 06:20:11 PM
It depends on your skill and your profit target, even with leverage, the more you trade with, the more profit that you have, but if this is your first time of trading bitmex, I would advise that you use not more than $100 to start with first, and test your skill and also to see the potential of the coin, secondly ensure that you do not allow your greed to take over you and make you leverage high.

When trading with leverage, set a very low leverage please, I think 10x will do, and never ever listen to anyone advising that you leverage 100x, that is very risky and you will lose your money easily before you get to learn from trading of this coin. Once you have mastered your trade with the $100, then you can gradually start increasing the amount based on your capacity.
3246  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲EOSBet.io - Licensed Casino Platform 🎲Provably Fair 🎲NOW ACCEPTING BTC ₿ on: July 06, 2019, 04:38:33 PM
Leaving all "signature spammers need money" type of things aside, if a person uses a signature and applauds another casino that is because they actually like it. They can literally (and some even do) write bad things about it and since they posted something they will get money for it anyway, so someone with another casinos signature saying something good or bad will get them paid anyway, if they are not saying anything bad but saying something good that means they actually like it.

I personally never liked the payment structure of gambling to get money but I have always supported two parts of eosbet, one is you can gamble anywhere you want and will never get paid with dividends and the other is now hopefully happening which is "buy" bet token if you do not want to gamble.
3247  Economy / Economics / Re: Can not believe 5 years ago you could of bought one whole bitcoin for this much! on: July 05, 2019, 08:38:26 PM
By this logic, you could have bought more 10 years ago when it first started out, you could have gotten bitcoin for cents and now it worth over 11 thousand. That is a return of god knows how much and nothing has ever given the same return in the last decade so we can call bitcoin the best ROI ever in the last 10 years.

However, finance doesn't work like that, you can't look at what you have missed all the time because looking at the last 10 years, if you had gold you would have profit, if you had stocks many of them would profit you, if you traded on forex many would have profited you, there are so many things that would have profited you like crazy and you just can't get stuck on them, maybe not as much as bitcoin but they would have all made your life better.

You need to keep focusing on the future, you have seen what you could have done in the last 10 years, don't make it ruin your next 10 years.
3248  Economy / Economics / Re: What Are NFTs? on: July 05, 2019, 07:45:16 PM
One other importance of this is the fact that they are somehow called collectibles. Like the vintage coins or some other stuff that people collect because they are rare and will never have the same print again so it will get valuable.

Baseball cards are a great example because they won't ever be printed the same way again, pokemon cards for example is a good example, I still have over a thousand of those in my possession which I have no idea how much they worth, I know for a fact that couple of them worth ten bucks or so which means I have some that worth something but I never really checked how much all of them worth and tried to sell it.

None of the NFT's are that valuable, of course people may decide that it does worth that much and make it expensive but in reality the companies feel too centralized and can change the value of it if you ask me, no printing company can print the pokemon cards the same way ever again but collectible coin companies can still print them technically speaking so they actually do not get more valuable with time like those collectibles.
3249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Need partner to bet with on: July 05, 2019, 07:01:46 PM
I think the OP won't get its partners, because I'm sure the users here are smart in choosing something.

I think it's enough to arrive here and please click "Report to Moderator" so that the thread is locked, the OP seems to be sleeping. Roll Eyes
Don’t be surprised that the OP already got a partner. You can only talk for yourself but definitely not everyone, I know there are still bettors that would give it a trial even though it looks shady but am sorry I am one of those people. I believe in trying my luck. That is exactly what life is all about. Like they say, it better to try and fail than not to try at all. Gambling on its own is a game of risk, so we always try our luck anyway.

Also, I don’t think this it’s time to report the post at all, the OP might just be ashamed to respond back considering all the bashing he has received all this time. I am not a supporter of the OP please but I think the post has been judged wrongly from every response I have seen so far.
Hmmm you are not a newbie, so I believe you understand better. Just be guided in making your decision and I wish you all the best but my opinion on this remains that the post looks quite shady. 40% is huge and asking a fellow gambler to pays that because his an expert in predictions in suspicious. There are better ways to display talent without request for money.

I personally cannot invest in a deal as this because ill be skeptical about it but like I always knew there will be players who do not mind. Please don’t forget to bring back the feedback to the platform, lets know the outcome if negative or positive. I am sure the outcome would go a long way in changing the minds of others especially those of us that see this as scam.
3250  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🌭 Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest - 4th July 2019 🌭 on: July 05, 2019, 05:47:29 PM
I'm kinda disappointed in alot of businesses like this that dont accept BTC because their item sales are a little too small perhaps.   All they have to do is offer a kind of gift card setup for BTC or ideally allow a credit account that gets cleared every month in exchange for BTC at that month end.   Then you have a large enough transaction and an encouragement for customers to come in and use the wealth they have.
I guess its just not giving enough demand, BTC is ideally suited towards digital products but still I dont see its a big deal to have the option of clearing a balance owed on an account with crypto.

Is the bet off if they fail to keep the contents completely in their stomach
Well it's because bitcoin is not yet tht accepted by all people we are in the fact that yes we accept it but we can't control thr mind of others. So, let's still go with what they wanted. Actually hot dog contest is nice so they can do it and do the proper things in the restaurant. Well yes it's because btc is destined to use in digital products as you say so.
I don't agree with that, at least they can still give the opportunity to those who are already believers of cryptocurrency, we still have many people that loves gambling, and are already exposed to cryptocurrency already, the population of bitcoin community is so high that I can at least guarantee you of 40% of them being a gambler.

Moreover, awareness of bitcoin payment will not just come without us helping to promote it, I don’t know why they did not introduce bitcoin payment to the game when they know that these are the type of activities we need to still expose people to the world of cryptocurrency. The hot dog contest may be nice, but provided there is no crypto payment involved, I would rather just stick my ass to games that are cryptocurrency friendly, and I don’t have countries to participate in this one.
3251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is the Litecoin rally over for now? on: July 05, 2019, 05:01:14 PM
I bought a bunch of LTC at like $40. I’ve seen the USD VALUE go up a lot, and the Satoshi value go down from like 1.0BTC now to .6ish.

Ultimately I care more about Satoshi values.

Should I dump my LTC for BTC and continue to ride the wave up, or be patient and wait for the halvening and see if LTC continues to rally despite taking a bit of a breather.

My target LTC sell was $200. I thought we would be there by now.
for now I suggest switching your ltc to btc. this is possible to speed up your profit than you have to wait until selling ltc at the price point you want. now ltc is very difficult to experience and is still in place
I don’t think that will be a very good idea to sell LTC now because I am still expecting them to have a sharp increase soon, especially now that their halving is very near, and also the fact that their season is also very close, and no altcoins should really be over looked at this point so that you don’t miss out.

Imagine you sell now into bitcoin, and bitcoin starts going sideways, because bitcoin sideways may happen anytime soon with this level of growth it has achieved, if you sell, you will get stocked while LTC starts surging, and since you have already sold your investment off, you will find yourself joining FOMO club to start investing all over again with extra Fiat. There are other coins that you should consider selling off to bitcoin, but not the ones with the top 20.
3252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Name ALTCOINS that will take off until 2022 on: July 05, 2019, 04:25:02 PM
Good day Lads!

I've been a hodler for DigiByte for 3 years now and nothing happens... Any NEW or Old coins do you think would climb up the price until 2022?

P.S. Hype or Not are welcome... This is for sharing thoughts only, who knows what the future hodls!?  Wink
You are talking of coins that you can hold has a long term investment, those coins are quite slow in growth now, and one of them is what you have mentioned, I believe that stellar also qualifies, BTT AND BAT are also coins that you can have in your portfolio as against the year you talked about because they have working product, but what I dint understand is why 2022?

Why are you not preparing for the next altcoins bull run which I believe is very close, and if you should be concerned about any coin right now, it is not coins that will stay till 2022, but coins that can give you very high profit in the next alt bull run, and I think some of these projects are still the ones within the limit of top 50 in coinmarket cap. You should really expect much ROI from them for the next bull.
3253  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win a Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2!! on: July 05, 2019, 03:11:05 PM
Well, that is the good part about the betting here, the long shots have a higher odd chance here than anywhere else. I know in normal cases the winner is getting less than anticipated and odds may not be great for the winner in many cases but that comes with a reward too with the low chance winning option, so you give up from the favorites odds but you gain from the not favorite teams side.

There are of course still some cases where its indecisive who will win and those are my favorites, like two teams (or two any option since freebitcoin doesn't only offer sports) who are so close to each other that you don't know which one will win, those are the greatest payers most commonly, since winners usually win and long shots are literally long shots but when two sides are too close to each other it makes it so much more rewarding when you pick the right one.
3254  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲 CyberDice.net - The Future is unwritten | Daily Wagering Contest | Faucet 🎲 on: July 04, 2019, 05:15:20 PM
I think there is a correlation on how you play and how long you can play instead of how much you can make money. I mean it is totally true that no matter how you play in the end you will lose your money because of the house edge, however for example if you bet on very low odds of winning with all your money then you will lose all of it (unless you get lucky and hit big on your first wagered) whereas if you bet with low amount of money plus high odds of winning you can play a lot longer.

Now, both of them have the same results where you go against the house edge lose your money in the end but at least one of them takes one wager whereas the other takes thousands of wagers to lose all of it. If we see gambling as entertainment instead of money making method then the second option is better since it gives you longer time period for entertainment.
3255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETHEREUM OR BAT ???? which has more potential and worth investing???? on: July 04, 2019, 07:09:11 AM
My brother wants to invest 15000$ in one of the these coins but is confused . guys which According to have more potential for growth in the next bull run Huh?
He has not made the wrong decision, just that the amount he is proposing to invest in just one coin is too much for the risk that is always available in the cryptocurrency space. These two coins are very great for investments, especially on a long term investment project, but we still have other coins too that are doing perfectly fine and all have very sound and quality team/product.

If I was the one with such amount of money, I will share it into certain ration or percentage. In percentage, maybe 30 goes to bitcoin, 30 for Ethereum, and the remaining 40 for other potentials coins that are in the market. Most especially the top 15 coins that are in the coin market cap, they have very useful product and their strategies in developing the product has been perfect.
3256  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Margin trading victims and how to avoid losses on: July 04, 2019, 05:53:46 AM
High leverage is deadly look what happen to Chinese crypto fund management firm founder that lost 2,000btc because of 100x leverage. What will you do if you losing that huge amount of money?
Being a trader is not easy you need to be positive all the time dont be stress if you lose your trade. I'm here to this thread to observe what will you guide if you losing money like what happen to Chinese trader.
I searched for the most preferred leveraged ratio, google said that 100:1 ratio in leveraging is better than 50:2 but take a look at this. Many people cried of 100x leverage . Usually happens if there is an assumption that the price would hike, a week or a month before you have seek in leveraging your position. I don`t use margin tradings or leveraging because it is too risky. In fact, I am not still pro and rich to use some kind of that. I just believe upo my technical analysis and funds in trading.
Looking at it from the jackpot part of it, it is very cool to leverage at 100x, if you are able to get the trade right leveraging at 100x, you are already made, but as cool as it is, it is the most dangerous spot to choose in leveraging, if any trader is to leverage at all, it will be best if such trader can leverage low.

I think greed is what usually make a lot of people leverage high, and I am not sure I have seen too many positive testimonies from people that have tried this, what you end of hearing from them is cry of regrets, they had wish they never leveraged that high, so I would not advise any trader to do more than its power, the most important thing is to make profit, isn’t it better to make little profit than not to make at all, and to the extent of even losing the capital completely out of risk.
3257  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is Binance the Best Exchange for Crypto trading? on: July 04, 2019, 05:23:00 AM
Hi Everyone!

We wrote up a review for Binance to try to answer the question "Is Binance the best exchange for crypto trading?" We would love to get your feedback and hear which exchange you would like us to review next!

https://blog.shrimpy.io/blog/binance-review

Thanks,
Shrimpy Team
For now, they remain most traders heart desires because of the strategies they have put in place that makes trading very fun for traders and their users, they have lots of incentives they do give their users and some traders too, they still have the most user friendly trading platform, and also the fact that they are very considerate, in the sense that they made virtually all their fees very low for anyone to moderately carry out his or her trading/ exchange activities using their platform.

It is really of no doubt that Binance remains the number one crypto exchange ever since they came into the market. If there was unity or regulation in the crypt yet, I am sure there would have been a program to award exchanges, and believe me, Binance will virtually all the awards.
3258  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲EOSBet.io - Licensed Casino Platform 🎲Provably Fair 🎲NOW ACCEPTING BTC ₿ on: July 03, 2019, 05:48:03 PM
Why do you claim that the maximum rakeback is limited to 100%?

Why can not player get 500% rakeback and more?

Whether you get a dividend or rakeback depends on what you needed to do and if players can get a lifetime profit share for one time contributed, then they also can get a lifetime rakeback for one time contributed! Wink

No, brain washer, BET fantasy token holders are not shareholders as they do not hold a share of EOSBet. They receive rakeback based on promises without any contractual binding! Cheesy

I offer 0.1 BTC for proof of investor and no one was able to deliver! Cheesy

Only one player answered to my request where it turned out that he is not an investor! Cheesy

That confirms that this threat is flooded with signature spammers and brain washers and maybe only 1% are players loving to pay 50% more rake! Cheesy
There is no place that pays 500% rakeback, you get 100% rakeback and that's it, the ones that pays 500% rakeback are mostly shady places. But lets assume 500% rakeback is possible, hell 1000%+ should be possible, that doesn't matter. What you get in eosbet is the bet token which pays you as much as people lose, so if people lose 77k then you get a share of that, if people lose 20k you get a share of that, if people lose 100k you get a share of that.

As you can see in bet token there is no limit of how much you can make, you can make millions of dollars or a couple bucks, it all depends on how much people lose, in rakeback you are destined to calculate based on how much you paid in rakes, whereas in dividends there is no limit to what you can earn from 1 dollar to 1 million, it all depends on what others lose. For once and for all; if your income from casino depends on what others lose, it is not a rakeback.
3259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have any strategic way in playing poker? on: July 03, 2019, 10:13:33 AM
I think my strategy also depends on how my opponents move, it changes from time to time. When another player is too aggressive and I know I have a good hand, I usually just call. Or I just check when no one is raising.

Poker is more on a behavioral technique so probably you can fool your oponent based on what you are doing. You should also have great observation even little things and learn how to read minds as well if possible. Most of the time, those who knows how to manipulate wins.
Yes you are very right and manipulating minds is much easier, this is the reason some people even take alcohol before going to gamble because according to them it makes them more sociable to be able to interact and as well study the players. I have discovered that it’s better to stay away from alcohol to be able read the mind of the opponent.

One thing is sure in poker, money will always go in a direction because one person will get unlucky for another to be lucky, that’s the reason it is a game of luck,so the best is to stay focused while looking for the bad side of the opponent and how to use it in your own advantage to be considered the lucky player. Poker is fun and truly interesting.
3260  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A new kind of scam in telegram using gambling site on: July 03, 2019, 07:28:59 AM
Please try to recall what's that casino so that we have the exact details if someone asks about it in the future, we can give certain opinion that everyone must be wary and can avoid it quickly.

It's a typical style of those scammers that they will try to convince you that you can earn decently by just doing nothing. But the favor always belongs to them while the money will come from you, don't deposit any amount and gamble only with reputable casinos.
The annoying part is when the OP has mentioned he cannot recall the name of the site. I think he is really not smart because even the scamming method is an outdated one and for a gambler that isn’t a newbie, I would have expected he would be smart enough to detect from the very beginning. I have a lot of these messages on my telegram that I do not even pay attention to. People who always end up victims are those that want quick and double money.

The best advice is always remaining with a familiar site. The scammer told him the site is an old site and has been existing for quite some years and yet not familiar, that enough should have given him green light.
It’s possible he cannot recall and that does not make him not smart. I can’t remember the number of casino sites that have scammed me and yet can’t remember them, sometimes we choose to let go and learn from the experience. Although from experience, there’s always an element of greed in any scam occurrence.

Its not like those who get scammed are not aware of familiar sites, but because this new sites offer good bonuses, they choose to stick with them and that’s always one major cause of scam. I believe no one would ever fall victim if scam anymore because everyone in one way or the have been scammed and have learnt from the mistake.
