What PayPal could do is have you put your BTC address or master public key in there that you generated offline, then when you complete checkout, give you an unsigned TX with your inputs which you would then sign on your own computer (or with some signing device) and give that back to PayPal. PayPal would never control your private keys, only know your addresses to facilitate you getting paid with only your registered email address(es).

Engaging in "verifiable" elections would likely result in many people not being able to vote as the process would be much too complicated. You need to remember that everyone has the right to vote not just the people who are educated or who are smart enough how to figure out the process. I would love to be able to carry a gun (UK here), i would feel a lot safer, but yeah can imagine every now and again someone would go nuts and kills 20 people in a school or something. That is a different issue though.
Not really, since the only schools (and anywhere else) that suffer mass murders (more than 3 victims) are "gun free zones" (which tell all criminals that they are 100% safe to commit any atrocity within). Giffords held her event right across the street from a school so it was in the federal gun free school zone, so nobody could have legally been able to "Constitutional Carry" there. Totally predictably, mass murder followed. |

I wouldn't reveal anything publicly yet. First, import both the uncompressed and compressed private keys that Bitaddress generated. Each type of private key corresponds to a different address.
