3241  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin's new All Time High (ATH) has been reached this year again (X2) on: November 01, 2021, 02:57:42 AM
The "new" ATH is basically the same as the old ATH from this year, which confirms an extremely bearish double top. All down hill from here

well the price came to $67000, this is new ATH and about to fall, I think you're wrong, the price is far from falling, as I said in the last post, with this ETF animation the price won't fall anytime soon, we have It is necessary to forget about this possibility so soon, it is enough to see that the price has reached the new ATH but has not yet fallen as much as it did in the past. this is a sign that it will still go up

And if you look at Bitcoin's past four cycle history, it's usually in December that we will see the final all time high of the year. So we still have two months to go to gauge how far this bull run will go. As expectations, we are looking for 6 digits at least. It might be too high of a expectation, but we all know how Bitcoin's bull run it, there's a lot of FOMO and no body can really stop it, not FUD. And what's more if we have a lot of good news next month like Taproot and ETF. So still the future looks bright and let's wait what December will bring to us.
3242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will shiba inu coin beat bitcoin ? on: November 01, 2021, 02:35:48 AM
will shiba inu coin beat bitcoin or eth ? will  it take a top 5 spot ?

LOL, you mean it can have a price greater than BTC or ETH?

No, it won't happen sorry to burst the bubble for you, I don't understand why people goes to this level of thinking? Logic mate, use logic and you will understand that Shiba is just another meme join and will be used for pump and dump scheme. It has no use case, except to trick people specially newbies that they can make huge money about it. Of course, if you know what you are doing then good, as you can make money out of it, but I think it won't last till the next bearish cycle.
3243  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Gervonta Davis vs. Rolando Romero - December 5 on: November 01, 2021, 12:58:03 AM
Yea, looks like this is true ==> https://www.badlefthook.com/2021/10/30/22754467/report-rolando-romero-likely-out-gervonta-davis-showtime-pbc-seeking-replacement-boxing-news-2021

If someone must replace Rolando Romero .. it must be Isaac Cruz with 24 fights and 15 knockouts (knock-out ratio is 68%)  Wink  His only loss was against Luis Miguel Montano and that was way back in 2016-02-06.  Cheesy

Isaac Cruz nicknamed Pitbull is a stocky and hard puncher he loves to engage but I doubt he can take Gervonta's power it will be easy for Tank to connect because he is not backing down and is always on the attack, but let's see who will be the best pick of the promotion it should be someone of Romero's caliber, they cannot just pick anybody the fans wants a good fighter that can match Gervonta's power.

Yes, he might be that good, but he is no Rolly Romero and I'm sure Tank's power will take over this match and maybe we can see another knock out for him.

As for Rolly Cruz, that's too bad, he should have been more careful, but I guess these boxers are really that aggressive, and now with this case, he losses his money and chance to be recognised if he beat Davis.
3244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Jonas Sultan vs Carlos Caraballo - October 30, 2021 on: October 31, 2021, 03:44:24 AM
What the f**k is Jonas Sultan wearing a Batman suit?

Sultan look re hydrated and above weight class to Caraballo, did he say that he is the Pinoy Shawn Porter as the announcer said?

And I think when Sultan gets the first knockdown in the second round. Caraballo face chances and we can smell upset already. But it's weird that Sultan only got 1 point lead going into the judges scorecard. Maybe if not for that 4 knock down, maybe Caraballo will win.
3245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Reymart Gaballo (WBC bantamweight) on: October 31, 2021, 02:24:11 AM

This isn't the biggest fight of Donaire, so I don't expect a lot of fans to come and see the fight. Filipino boxers fighting each other, mostly the fans are Filipinos only, so it's just a small crowd IMO. However, if Donaire wins this fight and there will be a rematch against Inoue, then for sure people will be excited to watch and PPV will generate more revenue.

That rematch is surely gain interest from the fans, or also, a possibility that if Casimero will dominates his own mandatory fight,

they can also take this one and settle the date of a potential deal between this two pinoy champs who are making their name up from this sport, whoever wins will take Inoue's attention and a possible deal from the Monster camp. Roll Eyes

For now, fans will not be that huge. Donaire is no longer in his prime in where fans all over the world are also eyeing with him, unlike with Pacquiao, who really magnetizes the attention of the crowd.

Though it was a loss, and Manny already hung his gloves. Hopefully that won't be the case for Donaire, not yet. Wink

That's another great idea too, Casimero vs Donaire first then the winner will take Inoue, that way Inoue will face the best Filipino fighter.

If Donaire wins against Casimero, IMO that's not too exciting since Inoue already beat Donaire, however, if it's Casimero then probably it will gain the fans' attention as Casimero trash-talked Inoue a lot and they want to see if Inoue can really handle Casimero and proved to be the best in the bantam weight division.

For me it's better if Inoue can face both Filipinos, just like Pacquiao-Barrera-Morales back then (Marquez later).

It will be more fun and hopefully we will not only see one fight, but rematches regardless of the outcome of the fight. So that this boxers can have a good payday too. Maybe this can happen in 2022 specially if Donaire and Casimero will beat their mandatory in December.
3246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Jonas Sultan vs Carlos Caraballo - October 30, 2021 on: October 31, 2021, 01:23:34 AM
Here's the video of the weigh-in:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VisFheCa4a8

Right, Jonas seems to be confident in the weigh in and his body looks very prime for a war with Caraballo.

No need for Jonas to trash talk, what's important is that he pulls the biggest win of his career here.

I already put my bet on Jonas here ML>  Grin

Both of them feel very confident, even Caraballo was already acting like a champion.

And he said in the interview that he will proved in this fight that he is one of the best bantamweight right now. Still a long way to go for him to be the best because we have Inoue and Casimero and then Donaire campaigning in this division. But this could be one step for him if he beats a durable Filipino in this fight. And so is the Puerto Rican-Filipino rivalry continues.
3247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: October 31, 2021, 12:17:05 AM
O_M_G

What just happened?

Jannik Sinner serving for the match in the second set with 2 match points
and it all unravels for him after a very notable incident where someone in
the audience roared something, Sinner had to take a bit longer to serve??

Tiafoe wins 3-6, 7-5, 6-2

Some absolutely super tennis on display with some absolutely magic shots
by both players. Tiafoe is a real showman and he had the audience on his
side, I wonder did Sinner pick up on that?

I'll probably just got lucky picking on Tiafoe in this match, it was boosted so good odds for me.

I wasn't able to watch the match because of it is early AM here, but it seems that Sinner was on the way of winning the game with the first set 3-6 on his favor easy.

And then he was leading in the second before Tiafoe find another opportunity to dig deeper just like what he did against Tsitsipas.

So I will continue to bet on him in the finals maybe his streak of luck will continue.  Smiley
3248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Has the journey of BNB and ETH been smooth from when it first appeared until now on: October 30, 2021, 07:44:41 AM
Among the many good value coins on the crypto market, only a few of the Altcoins of particular concern are Ethereum and Binance Coin. If Bitcoin is like a king, then the two coins are like a queen. Ethereum and Binance are on a good track and currently BNB is at $512 and ETH $4.3K. Reasonable price in my opinion. Has the journey of BNB and ETH been smooth from when it first appeared until now?

Who told you that this crypto space is smooth sailing? Even bitcoin in the beginning was supposedly to fail based on it's critics. And in the last ten years or so, there is a lot of ups and downs, and yet Bitcoin survived.

Same with Ethereum, 3 years ago the price was less than $100, now look at it's growth. So it's like going to a lot of growing pains. The thing is that it survived the storm. But who knows, once the bear market sets again, we might see this crypto going down hard, so it's a total reset.
3249  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin's new All Time High (ATH) has been reached this year again (X2) on: October 30, 2021, 06:48:30 AM
Bitcoin is the only true store of value imho.

Its first mover advantage in the cryptospace is immense. People are recognising this now and putting money into bitcoin as a safe haven asset when they have made gains in other cryptos.

Definitely watch bitcoin dominance, as I think there is tremendous upside for that index even now.

Bitcoin's dominance is still within range, just like in the last bull run in 2017.

And I do agree, it's a prime mover so no doubt that everyone is on it since the beginning and I'm sure there still a lot of long term bagholders in this community.

And it is far more evident now that it become a safe haven and then become a hedge for companies in their balance sheet.
3250  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: October 30, 2021, 06:05:26 AM
promoters delay fights in order to hype them and they expect their fighter to win any fight they have until they can arrange the big fight that is going to bring them all of that money,

Isn't it the most common thing to do? With the pandemic happening for over a year, going back to good and high numbers of the audience is not possible yet.

Arranging a certain fight is too expensive and serious. Without a hype on the certain fight they will arrange, how can they cover the amount they have used? If only it's just simple to arrange the fight, we should now see good names battling each other. It's not that simple and to compensate those responsible people or individuals that make the fight happen, the match should be hype. More hype means more money.

But I think they already have a date for this fight, maybe they are just settling for what venue is will be good to generate more money, US, Middle East or UK.

I don't think that sports right now are still affected by the pandemic, we are slowly going back pre-pandemic, with a lot of people getting vaccinated, and you just have to wear face mask and you are good to go and watch the live boxing event.
3251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: October 30, 2021, 05:33:14 AM
^^ Alcaraz vs Zverev now on the semi finals as Alcaraz defeated Berrettini in a three set classic match.

I think this will be an over 21.5 match 1.93. Alcaraz should need to elevate his game here if he wanted to upset Zverev or at least force a third set.

Tiafoe vs Sinner, another tricky match, but I will go with Tiafoe at ML 3.75.
3252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Jonas Sultan vs Carlos Caraballo - October 30, 2021 on: October 30, 2021, 04:45:50 AM
Isn't just me or Sultan looks Casimero here in the weigh-in?

http://philboxing.com/news/story-159270.html

Anyhow, both of them was able to make the weight in their fight so it still still a go. And Jonas Sultan's body is also built like Casimero, but with more muscles and shredded. Makes me think that he can absorb those power can Caraballo and maybe we can see him winning by knockout here.
3253  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin bull market back on: October 29, 2021, 06:31:02 AM
I must admit that I have really missed the bull market. We haven't seen it for months and I can't wait to see a new one. Because the market is in a very bad condition as it seems. Bitcoin price is still struggling to go up to $50k again. Some people claim that a new bull run or a rally is closing in but I don't know. I hope that they are right about it.
Well 50k recovery is still low as at this moment Bitcoin is above 60k which is still a recovery mode as Bitcoin have made a 67k price this October and judging from the current momentum 70k price is still achievable before the end of October.

Nah, I doubt that we can achieved $70,000 this month, the most we can get to it is $63,000. Which is about the price that S2F model has predicted too. We must have to wait for the next big mental barrier of $70,000 next month November. After all, we are still in the bullish sentiments, it's that there are players who chooses to sell at  the latest all time high and takes profits and maybe invested on some meme coins like Shiba. But eventually this smart investors will go back to Bitcoin because this is where the action is.
3254  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reason for bitcon flash drop. on: October 29, 2021, 05:27:14 AM
If it affected the market, then it will be short term. And as far as I know, those whales doesn't buy directly a bitcoin, they are not trading bitcoin per se.

Maybe it's just a coincidence that this long term holder suddenly dumps to cause the market to go down. But here we are, still above $61,000 so the effect is minimal. And on the contrary, it might be good for others to enter the picture again. So the answer is No, it won't be a hindrance, we might just consider it as normal part of the market now with this ETF instruments.
3255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Terence Crawford vs Shawn Porter - Nov. 20 on: October 29, 2021, 04:44:44 AM
Let me be the first to vote then: I have Crawford.

Although I have criticized him for cherry picking his opponents previously, he is solid all around boxer, good IQ and very technical and can even fight going backwards, can switch from orthodox to southpaw.

That's why this is really a big test for him, but I think he can win this thru majority decision.
3256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Reymart Gaballo (WBC bantamweight) on: October 29, 2021, 03:55:19 AM
We have specific date now for this fight:

Quote
BoxingScene.com has learned that Donaire will make a mandated defense of his WBC bantamweight championship against unbeaten Reymart Gaballo on December 11. Showtime will televise Donaire-Gaballo as the main event of a tripleheader from Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California.

https://www.boxingscene.com/nonito-donaire-reymart-gaballo-showtimes-main-event-1211-from-carson-california--161548

but the article also says that it won't be the same card as Casimero vs Butler

Quote
The Casimero-Butler bout will not be part of Showtime’s tripleheader December 11.

Good thing is that the fight will happen in Donaire's hometown if I'm not mistaken. And there's a lot of Pinoys in Carson, so this is going to be huge for Filipino boxing community in that area. Probably we need to wait for the betting line to open. The fight is still far away though, but I believed that Donaire will open as the favourite here.

I posted a link as well saying that Donaire and Casimero might be in the same card, the date is the same.

So I'm just surprised to see that they won't be in the same card.

Nevertheless, at least before the end of the year, we are going to see both of this Filipinos trying to defend their belts so that is good enough for us.

And yes, good choice of venues for this one, true, there are a lot of Filipinos not just in Carson City, but the whole of California that might be interested to watch this fight live before Christmas.
3257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: October 29, 2021, 01:01:44 AM
Today only bets on two matches S. Tsitsipas vs F. Tiafoe on under and FAA vs Norrie on over.
At ATP Saint Petersburg M. Cilic vs K. Khachanov, Cilic has lost his touch when he returns to play after a long injury but Khachanov sometimes not consistent with his performance, this match difficult to predict who wins but pick over 20.5 maybe a good choice.

I also have Tsitsipas who is top seed for the win along with Norrie.

Some of the other games look very good especially for the seeded players. I have
bets on the seeded players, I think Swartzman could be the trickiest one though.

Monfils v Swartzman (8.)
Ruud (4) v Sonego
Novak v Sinner (7)
DevMinaur v Zverev (2)

Norrie vs FAA is about to start, I have Norrie at handicap -1.5. Didn't want to bet the totals as this might be tricky. Norrie is playing very hard in here, while FAA is somewhat very inconsistent and seems can't go over the round of 16 as much as he wanted to.

Not yet betting on other games, but I like the chances of Schwartzman against Monfils.

And then Zverev over A de Minaur. So let's see how my first bet goes, if it's a W then I will continue to bet on the other games.

Good call on making the bet on Norrie -1.5 handicap games. You won it even tho Norrie lost in the end and will now struggled to reach those top 8 places to take him to the final tournament of the year. Also Tsitsipas again lost to Tiafoe i think he just cannot beat him on any tournament

I have a few sats on Tsitsipas to win against Tiafoe -3.5. Stepanos won the first set comfortably, and he is up 3-0 on the third set. Not sure what happened as he lost the final set.

So it will be FAA vs Zverev and then Tiafoe vs Schwartzman. It's going to be a tough call for this matches. Probably the safe bet will be to go Over on this match as it is possible that it could extend to another three setter.

Who has any thoughts about what is happening on the market now and what to expect in the future?

Now? The DIP before the surge to $70,000.

The future? Simply, throw all techno-fundamental analysis out of the window, AND ZOOM OUT. Looking at a zoomed out chart will make understand that dips NOW are for buying.

Yeah, why not? another perfect buying opportunity and just hold of the next two months and see how it goes.

It could be fall break out, but the effect is for sure term only. It's just 2 months ago when we are trading just above $30,000. So it might be the cause again, x2-x2.5 up to the end of the year. Still possible so take this as another golden opportunity to double your investments at the end of the year.
3259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFT on Bitcointalk on: October 28, 2021, 02:41:21 AM
What do you think about NFTs in general?
This was a good trend but some people are making this trend to be overrated like valued non sense thing with over valued price.

This is the problem with the NFT items today where you really don't know if the NFT you bought will gonna be expensive next time since you bought it at a high price.
Most of the NFT that is sold today is expensive and worth a fortune but we just don't know what to buy to make a profit of it and the capital needed is not a small amount because if you didn't pay attention and work on knowing which items will gonna be pricy in the next few months or years, You will end up losing all your investment just like what happened to the other NFTs where they ended up losing their price because no one really cares about their NFTs.

Big risk with this NFT hype, we really don't know what the future will bring, if it's going to be worth something or not. Yeah, for sure everything is a risk here, nevertheless for us it is a calculated risk if we invest on crypto's and not on NFT.

And there's thing on what we call hype, ICO-IEO-NFT, so we know that drill, those hype doesn't really last long and maybe in the next bear market, we might see NFT price goes down very hard.
3260  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling addiction is getting real on: October 28, 2021, 02:00:08 AM
Total shock to the money that the OP lost in just 2 days.

But I understand where he is coming from because I was once a addicted gambler and lost all my money too. So it's going to be hard for him, hopefully you need to take control of yourself. You need to seek help and recognized that you have an addiction and maybe it will help you out. It's going to be difficult, but take it day by day. Try to make your everyday busy, get some hobby, involved yourself, like doing some exercise and yoga too, it might help you alleviate that cravings of your gambling.
