3241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tron is an outdated coin on: February 17, 2021, 03:15:46 AM
It hasn't been relevant for a long time. I see Justin Sun's name recently with the news with all the Game Stop and Dogecoin and I think he has suffered losses with that? I'm not really sure but I'm not sure if his coin is related or was talking about or something.

I think what I'm confused about is that, does it mean already that its technology is outdated?

What about BTC? That's the first crypto and do you think it's not innovative? Is it also outdated? Is it already that way for older coins? I'm not sure what basis this "old tech" thing is. Is it all DeFi now?
3242  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's your favorite Bitcoin app? on: February 17, 2021, 01:15:49 AM
This could be done with a trading bot like Gunbot.

So there's a strategy in Gunbot called TSSL. You would set the buy range, percent etc.

For example. When the ask price drops below the Target, let's say $45000, there would be a buy range that you would input, if you want the 10%, you would input 10 as the Buy Range and it would cover ±10% of $45000. So as long as the price is within range in one direction then suddenly changes, it would automatically trigger a buy for that trading pair.

For the selling part, you would input a Sell Range or Take Profit for a specific percentage.

If you want more information about it and would want to know more, message me here. I would be willing to help you.

3244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm Investing in $BAT on: February 17, 2021, 12:38:34 AM
If you are willing to invest your current money in BAT, then you don't have to worry about it. I think this token is still early considering that there are adoptions here and there with their browser and it's helping their current situation when it's got mass adopted. It's basically a great browser and a great investment for sure. I do like their browser a lot and the opportunity to tip those who really need it etc.

The opportunity to earn is there as well, just like what maxreish showed. It can be an opportunity for you.
3245  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin just smashed $50k on: February 16, 2021, 04:19:12 PM
After reaching this price, I don't think it would ever be lower than $30k anymore. It wouldn't go down any lower as well. I believe that most people have understood the essence of BTC and are prepared to have an agreement at price in this range currently. Do you think it would carry this thing throughout the years? I believe so. As long as we believe in it and keep HODLing, then we could get what we want.

I take the fact that it's hovering in the 49s rather than bouncing sharply down from 50 as evidence of general bullishness in the market. As you say though, there will certainly be profit-taking near the round number of 50k.
Possibly cashing out to buy Lamborghinis. Lol
3246  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin go up to $1000k? on: February 16, 2021, 08:35:18 AM
I'm pretty sure everyone wants to go up there and just enjoy everything with just a small fraction of a BTC. It would be an instant gold mine. Imagine that you just have 0.001 and that would be worth $1000 already. It's probably the same feeling we have right now when you bought so far below like $5000 per BTC, and imagine, how much is that BTC worth now, knowing that it's priced at the $46k range. It's a lot.

HODL on, maybe, we can get there.
3247  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which alerts are you using? on: February 16, 2021, 05:09:44 AM
Usually, I use the Parabolic SAR or pSAR Indicator in which could determine a change in trend or change in direction in price. You could read more here. https://www.investopedia.com/trading/introduction-to-parabolic-sar/

It's still not enough to use one indicator so usually, I use it with an EMA. To get a better feel on the direction and correct prediction.

So OP, you are basically checking the volume of the price? You could do that automatically with Gunbot if you are interested. It would automatically add those corresponding pairs for you and trade them for you.
3248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Top Cryptocurrency Projects to Watch Out for in 2021 on: February 16, 2021, 12:59:04 AM
For everyone wondering, here is the list in the site.
  • Dash
  • Divi
  • zCash
  • Monero
  • Chainlink

I thought that this was going to be a list of new projects and new coins to watch out for. All of the coins have been there already and established. The most recent one is DIVI. Maybe this could be a key coin this year, but I'm not amused at what it could do yet. It's like other coins as well.
3249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Thoughts on DIVI? "Crypto Made Easy" on: February 15, 2021, 01:13:28 PM
This is definitely a shill.

So basically you are telling people that with just a few buttons, you could set up your MN easily. So you don't let people understand what it's for or something? What's the difference between other coins like CRO? They also have those debit card things that you could use and they have rebates for it as well.

Do you hold a lot of DIVI, OP?
3250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining Monero - Minergate? on: February 15, 2021, 09:50:26 AM
I remember trying it for a while and leaving my PC on for a couple of days just to let it mine. I remember it being legit and I have withdrawn a couple of XMR from it. I don't remember how much it was but I managed to withdraw it. It's definitely a risk you are going to take if you are going to use it. I wouldn't recommend for you to do it because I have read something about it that's why I didn't continue it anymore. Probably find a better pool to mine in or something.
3251  Economy / Economics / Re: Need of the Hour : Tackle Joblessness on: February 15, 2021, 04:44:05 AM
I think what we can do about it is that if we have the capacity to create a company and produce jobs for other people, and then you would definitely help someone. I believe that this is the case all over the world. As long as you have the capacity, right?
This is a nice suggestion but the capacity to do is not only finance. You need many amenities including enabling environment to do so. In other on this, the government need to come in and support individuals indirectly by providing the environment that includes good roads, electricity and loan. This amenities are important for beginners in business and for government to reduce tax too for small businesses. This is how the world economy can bounce back but if support from government, it will be a hard but even when the individual have the capacity.
That's kind of a different topic when you are talking about good roads, electricity, etc. That's should be factored in directly in the situation of the country itself. Even before this pandemic that we all are experiencing today, that's still the roads, electricity, water utilities from before. It's not that it doesn't matter but it's a different issue altogether.

For the loans though, that's where it's connected. They could let people borrow money in order to make money. That's basic business. I hope that it gives opportunity to people that really needs it.
3252  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Hardware Wallet Valentines deal on: February 15, 2021, 01:05:05 AM
It's always great to buy things that has a promo. I don't hate their promos, it's just that these types of promos are more likely to get customers because of the current event. As everyone knows, more and more people are getting involved in cryptocurrencies and a lot of people are thinking about what type of gift they can give to their partners, and it's possible to think of hardware wallets as a gift. Kind of. Lol.
3253  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will not reach $50,000 on: February 14, 2021, 02:11:48 PM
We all know that all trading patterns that were invented were based on historical data, and if we are to consider these happenings to previous events with crypto, it's definitely a possibility. But right now, I do believe that with the richest man right now, Elon Musk, hyping cryptocurrencies *ehem Doge* it's not going to be easily a downfall from here.

If it comes to that, I don't think it would be easy coming back to the ATH.

You know, I'm hoping for BTC to crash down even a little bit so that I could buy more. Long Term HODL.
3254  Economy / Economics / Re: Richest people getting ready for economic crash on: February 14, 2021, 02:05:37 PM
I don't think that it means that it could crash already. They already have enough and more people buying in means more demand and they could get more money with it for sure. Institutions might have the capacity to buy a lot but do you think they are willing to manipulate the market? I don't think so.

You know, this should've happened already when BTC has reached its significant ATH around $21K back then. Because if what you're saying is going to happen, middle-class people buying, then it should've happened when everyone was FOMO.
3255  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What does the limit in a stop-limit do? on: February 13, 2021, 02:03:59 PM
"you can take-away is that it's better to use another type of order." - NO! He should "take-away" the main idea how stop-limit order works and to learn how to set it in correct way. Not to give up on it and move back to simpler order that expose him to different types of risks.
I should've been more specific. It should've been to learn the necessary type of order to use. Depending on what he should use, he should use it properly. Like you said.

Yeah, you could have those things but that's unusual to put the stop market at 10 cents when the price in your chart says $397. That's just dumb. You should input the "stop price" at the correct percentage or at the correct price like $360 or something. Make sure to use the "Mark Price" as the trigger.
3256  Economy / Economics / Re: Need of the Hour : Tackle Joblessness on: February 13, 2021, 01:52:12 PM
My sister was affected by this jobless part. Her company started laying off people, and she was part of the 5000 people IIRC. It's sad, but that's just the reality, and it could happen. There's no complete job security, and you need to be prepared for what could happen. We should be prepared.

I think what we can do about it is that if we have the capacity to create a company and produce jobs for other people, and then you would definitely help someone. I believe that this is the case all over the world. As long as you have the capacity, right?
3257  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Help I dont remember the wallet I was Using!! on: February 13, 2021, 08:15:33 AM
I'm going to be quite frank but you know that it could be one of the famous exchanges as well? Do you think it's just a custodial wallet that you used or some famous exchange that you funded but forgot? Some famous web wallets could be on your mobile app as well. Maybe this could jog your memory.

Search your email as well, there might be verification that could lead you right to it.
3258  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What does the limit in a stop-limit do? on: February 13, 2021, 03:32:30 AM
Basically, it's what the above people have said so I guess what you can take-away is that it's better to use another type of order.

Are you using futures and with Binance? Because what I'm thinking is that it's better to use Stop-Market instead of limit so that it would surely be filled once it reaches that price. You won't have to worry about it.
3259  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: "Not enough funds" but i have funds! on: February 13, 2021, 02:06:35 AM
Can I "cancel" this stuck transaction or something?? I have being trading btc for years, but i never paid attention to this "change address", i am not even sure what that is. So I just need to wait?? What if this transaction is never confirmed?
I have read before that you can by sending the same transaction with a higher fee instead. I haven't tried this but I wouldn't suggest it though. I'm not sure if it can work. I just remember what I read from way before.

For the change address, Electrum has already generated a couple of change addresses for you. If you check the Addresses tab, you could see there Receiving and Change. The change is usually for getting that extra BTC from your initial wallet.

Example:
Your initial address, let's call it Addy1 has a balance of 0.2 BTC and you are going to send 0.001 Addy2
Sending that would in a single TX sending your 0.2 BTC all to the Addy2, which you shouldn't want so it would have another output for the "change"
Two outputs would be generated, the 0.001 BTC to Addy2 and the remainder of it from 0.2 BTC is ~0.199 BTC (less fees) would be sent to your ChangeAddy1

unless you have changed settings in your software, it usually works like this.

It will get confirmed eventually but it could take a longer time. The longest that I have experienced is around a week before getting confirmed. I think your still okay.
3260  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: "Not enough funds" but i have funds! on: February 13, 2021, 01:33:40 AM
Can you see the actual transaction transmitted? You can check if it can be searched by a blockchain explorer. If it's not, then it can be a software problem.

If it is, you might have that 0.2 BTC in a single address then when you sent that 0.001 BTC three days ago, it should have sent another ~0.199BTC to a change address that still isn't confirmed yet. That's probably why it's saying you don't have enough balance. It's still not confirmed because of the transaction you sent.

This is what I think might have happened.
