3241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should i invest to this public sale ?, Is it profitable? on: July 13, 2020, 04:40:21 PM
Yes please, but if this token has been listed on the exchange why don't you buy it there? The sale price on the site is @$1 and on the exchange it is less than @0,4. I think that buying directly in the exchange will reduce your risk when prices suddenly go down, you can sell it at any time or set a stop limit.
Please also note the right time to buy, currently experiencing a 3% increase.

What exchange? Guess you mean coinmarketcap.

Well, their "car purchase crowdfunding" model sounds interesting, but I am not sure how sustainable that will be, especially in Crypto world...and whether this is even genuine/serious project. Short-term investment will probably be advisable to Op assuming the project is genuine

The truth is that you can't try to get out with your own power... Not even a good idea. Only JESUS can get you out of your cages. Once you are out and start living holy life, GOD will attack them once they try to harm you before your time.

*Talking to people who are struggling to be free from the system/bondage by themselves.
3243  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you break the law if you eat meat in a vegetarian country? on: July 13, 2020, 10:52:08 AM
I will not debate anything with that. If the country where I'm in says that it's not allowed to do so, I'll follow the rule. To me, that's a very simple thing to do.

Respect and obedience should be at the top.

The question basically trying to solve the problem of whether to obey immoral/bad/unjust laws.
Should we obey or disobey bad/immoral laws? How do we determine what law is bad or immoral? If your country bans the eating of certain good fruits (perhaps due to misinformation, wrong or unscientific studies) , while you and others rely on the fruits for your health/survival, would you obey? Or if your country bans the teaching of your kids about GOD, would you obey?
I strongly believe you don't obey bad laws (if you're sure the law bad. *You will need to prove to people/court it is actually bad*). You have to handle the issue in sensible manner in order not to create problems.
Everything GOD says is good can be proven good in court or to people, no matter the country. A just society will certainly approve or consider, while the unjust will wrongly fight it.

Is that how the game interface looks like? Looks nice and simple.
Well, i guess gaining some good reputation on the forum and maybe a little increase in rank could get me to test it, esp if you offer bonus.
Your copper badge for the newbie rank is a nice way to start improving your trust.

I wonder what kind of sale that^ is...
I think it is this one https://www.animocabrands.com/f1deltatime-crate-sale-usd364000 and looking at it it's really has been a good sale.

F1® Delta Time is currently holding a non-profit charity auction for the “Australia Edition 2020” car NFT at www.F1DeltaTime.com to raise funds for Australia’s bushfire recovery efforts. 100% of the proceeds from the auction will be split evenly between the NSW Rural Fire Service Association, WIRES (NSW Wildlife Information, Rescue and Education Service Inc.), and Australian Red Cross Disaster Relief and Recovery Fund.
The good thing about these sale they made it they are providing it on the Australia's bushfire from the past year and that's a emphatic move by the company. Where do mostly we can bet on the games?

That's interesting. Never knew there are many people interested in Blockchain products. We had/have similar interests in Ethereum based virtual game/collection like cryptokitties, maybe decentraland etc..
Anyway, I thought it was ICO related or this.
3246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wine company using blockchain to eliminate fraud and secure authenticity. on: July 10, 2020, 06:24:23 PM
How is it different from a centralized database that also stores and tracks ids of their products? A lot of companies that have to deal with scammers counterfeiting their product were using these methods even before blockchain was invented. And what would stop scammers from doing the oldest trick in the book - copying the identifier of a genuine item and slapping it on their fakes?

Exactly what I was just thinking.
Perhaps make the verification/secret keys (which should be worth the price of each product) their products tokens so that customers can buy them first before they can verify the products with the keys, maybe combined with codes on the products.
The companies could even hide certain features on their products and put them in better smart-contracts for users to find and verify their products more properly.

Here you can check how Nike plans to do it https://cointelegraph.com/news/nike-patents-a-system-for-tokenizing-shoes-on-ethereums-blockchain!
Nothing is impossible, but it will be very hard for counterfeiters to do something here. Many companies used different methods, but now with blockchain companies have a better tool. I think this will work, but probably we will need to wait and see how good it will work, and what counterfeiters can do here. In theory this can be very good thing, but reality is something else, scammers are smarter too, this races last for years, and maybe blockchain technology can make some difference in favor of companies.

It will definitely succeed with a good system as long as people are aware of method for detecting and countering the counterfeits
Well decentralized system would be an awesome way to make this hard to counterfeit as far as I can tell. A centralized system will have to worry about insiders, hackers or even owners defeating the anti-counterfeit system.
3247  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there any limit or holding stable coins.....? Any risk of hodl the max coins? on: July 10, 2020, 06:07:30 PM
Just seeing this for the first time. I saw one about a stablecoin called USDC, probably yesterday or so. I guess that's what you are referring to instead of USDT?
Edit: noticed from the link it happened to tether too, right?

Well, better to use well decentralized, censorship resistant and immutable coins to be pretty safe from getting similar blacklisting once you store your coins longterm and control your keys.
3248  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin smart contracts are not developed? on: July 10, 2020, 05:04:34 PM
Perhaps satoshi being the architect behind Bitcoin and a creator who understands how things can be built on the network, has the goal to develop such feature in the future but the dream dissappeared with him. He probably left suddenly and didn't leave all/most of his ideas and plans to other members to achieve.
3249  Economy / Economics / Re: Marxism theory Suddenly making sense on: July 10, 2020, 10:59:19 AM
To be honest, it quite easy to fix poverty issue in a short time, without creating other problems, and not necessarily through Marxist idea,  (which I don't fully understand yet).
Maybe using unique solutions to your own peculiar problem is a better way of solving the problems. Especially if people with different agenda won't frustrate you deliberately and consistently.

I don't really believe in paying people more money than is required, so that they can buy whatever they like. What's important in my opinion is that everyone can afford the basic things (good/healthy things) of life to survive.
Many poor people are not lazy. They work really hard and produce good things yet are poor. There are several reasons why they would choose to remain poor which I don't want to go into.
The best/good producers among poor could be incentived to expand and produce more good things. Those who are not so good yet, could even work under the best/good ones. Government or society can guaranteed them healthy life by getting them paid special money they can only use for the basics things. You could even design the money to be used mostly for buying things from those they work under. The extra money they earn from working hard can then be used for extra/non-basic things.
3250  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Physical Casinos Decoded : on: July 10, 2020, 08:48:43 AM
Your discipline can counter the tricks of the gambling house, gamblers who understand the nature of this business
knew when to quit both when already achieving good profits or already losing decent
amount of money from his pocket, even there's a lots of tricks to entice you to keep on
playing if you have good discipline you will go out without losing a huge amount
of money.

Discipline has been studying for years. This is the most difficult skill to acquire, because it is based on willpower.
The casino plays on our weaknesses, on our desires. The best casino will do so that we succumb to all our desires as often as possible in this its essence.
Only discipline can save you from this, but for this you need to become a truly professional, a similar path is not for everyone. We are too emotional "animals."

I dont know if i would agree that we are emotional animals.  Grin

But i do hardly agree on the fact that have you said that discipline will be easily be put up if we do really have that will power which can really be obtained if we do have somewhat experience
into this thing because you wouldnt know if you havent tried it in the past.

Of course they will do all sorts of things for you to stay and thats their primary motive since from the beginning.

Would have been ok if those they get to stay longer are benefitting positively while spending their time on games. The benefit should be mutual, and not one way thing or just for the casinos. This is one of the reasons I think most games should be redesign in such a way that the players benefit positively while spending longer time than is necessary on them

3251  Other / Off-topic / Do you break the law if you eat meat in a vegetarian country? on: July 10, 2020, 08:21:38 AM
How would you behave in a country that forbid or ban the eating of meat?

I believe no human law is above GOD's law, so the ban should not affect you as a true christain because GOD allows eating of meat. Eating good meat and eating moderately is good for us.

But for the sake of love and not desrepecting members of the society, you try to avoid eating in their presence. And you also inform them that meat is not harmful to us esp if eaten the right way. A just society would investigate your claim, and unban meat eating if found to be true.
Afterall, the purpose of law is for the good of society, people and the world. If you insist on holding tightly to laws that serve no good purpose then you are the problem.
There are good and bad laws. Your law has to be good.
3252  Economy / Gambling / Re: FREE Cricket Betting Predictions on: July 10, 2020, 07:09:25 AM
You probably should have included your past bets and wins/losses to help potential customers make informed decisions on whether to try you out or not. And you'll need to up your reputation or get the copper badge to make things abit safe for potential customers.
3253  Economy / Economics / Re: Countries and their own cryptocurrency! on: July 10, 2020, 05:46:16 AM
It is fascinating and interesting that there are really countries whose government are willing to adapt and  create their own cryptocurrency because most commonly, countries are against the usage of cryptocurrencies for they have no control or they cannot manage the usage of it unlike the national fiat money they are using in a circulation for the whole country.

Like here in the country where I do belong, the government is not encouraging the usage of cryptocurrency, although it is not prohibited, but they do not support the usage and adaptation of it and stated that we must get into it on our own risk. Though I understand why their stand is something like that, still I am wondering or wishing that adaptation even without creating our own national cryptocurrency can be possible so that the users residing in our country can have convenience using our cryptos.

Nothing stops them from regulating it, just that it won't be like the typical way of regulating things. People have to really be part of the law making, governance and regulations. Unnecessary permission/trust placed on things owned by stakeholders/public makes things harder for members of the community/society/network to participate in what they are fundamentally part of, and entitled to participate in
3254  Economy / Economics / Re: The freer the market, the freer the people? on: July 10, 2020, 05:05:37 AM
Demand for this specialty has grown significantly as a result of recent corporate scandals. Everyone wants to do what they want The demand for Bitcoin is much lower than that of Fiat currency, which is controlled by the government. Bitcoin is not controlled by anyone the price increases depending on the market Everyone can act independently because they are not under anyone's control Everyone works in the free market for exchanges and transactions.

Better still, it's not centrally controlled, or it is not controlled by one person or bad entities acting against community's good core values or good shared beliefs.

So, the community basically controls it because we are still able to own/control the software and participate in network consensus without restriction. Though I think we should make it easier for everyone to fully participate in  activities in the whole network.

3256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how big? on: July 09, 2020, 09:43:06 AM
Haven't gone through the article yet but am wondering if spending/losses happened on a single day, or multiple days/months/years?   And does the article also factor in the deflationary nature of the cryptocurrency or token the player was betting with? An equivalent of 0.01 btc bet 6years ago would be worth more  now.

Addiction is definitely a reason one would be reckless with money. It can be really bad if you are addicted to bad/unsafe things.
3257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Record Revenue for Blockchain Gaming Company During Pandemic on: July 09, 2020, 08:54:02 AM
Interesting.
Does the company own its own Blockchain or is just built on a multi-purpose, VM like Blockchain?

I wonder what kind of sale that^ is...

And what they mean by "born-again" gamers
3258  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: One game vs a variety: which gives higher potential to a casino? on: July 09, 2020, 08:35:22 AM
I guess people who have specific choices will go for those that offer specific rather than multiple games, probably because the owners/admins will know the game well enough and good at providing better/quality services and handling issues easily, than what they would provide if their attentions/services were divided or focused on multiple games.
I think the multi games would be more attractive to many, especially if individual games can be handled well together by the owner/admins.       An owner could even create a betting platform and allow any kind of game launch on them, then filter out the best games for bettors to bet on. That will probably be easier than having and developing the multiple games yourself?
3259  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to stop colluding, poker bots, and other types of cheating in poker? on: July 09, 2020, 07:56:14 AM
Wish you could explain the collusion and what the bots do. I guess I have seen a similar question in the past with an interesting answer that favours the use of well decentralized system to solve or reduce the problem.
Centralized betting platforms not so transparent, so expect to see such problems.

Any chance you can find that topic you mentioned?

Not sure I can now.
But from the point the poster above (stonerstanl..) made, I guess things could be manipulated if the owner/owners want to. Maybe it won't be that easy for them due to provable fair and other similar feature. I guess the provable is used mostly in Crypto-based betting platforms. .

In my opinion, having a betting platform decentralized will take away the ownership control and potential abuses from one or few "connected" people, and make things more monitored  by randomized and anonymous betting community members.
I think a decentralized betting platforms should be:
Well decentralized, Transparent, immutable, anonymous/private, trustless/permissionless, censorship resistant, secure, consensus driven, etc to make them safer and secure from possible abuses by owners/admins
3260  Other / Off-topic / Re: ✴Endtime, European empire and Mind blowing predictions from the Holybook. on: July 09, 2020, 07:19:55 AM
Wow, I thought I had strange dreams. But apparently this dude has surpassed all ....

If you are touched by this (and and the video) , I would advice you to be repent and be baptized to understand the scripture well rather than relaying on people who probably weren't holy and filled with the spirit of GOD when they made the video.

You understand the Bible well when you are baptized with the spirit of GOD. I got baptized last year (abit long after I listen to the video and wrote this post.)

Truth is usually mixed with lies (intentionally/unintentionally) in lots things in this world.
