I know that new technology comes with some threats to the things we are used to, but can equally be helpful in sorting new problems so I was wondering what do you guys think about online poker?

How we can deal with colluding and bots, which becomes a real threat in today's games according to this infographic https://www.thebestpokersitesonline.com/poker/poker-bots/.

Can blockchain help us sort it out, or how we can address this topic?

The casinos have their own security of determining the cheating players. I don't know what kind of software they use but they won't just create a casino that's going to be cheated by some random poker players.

They invest huge money into their entire security to avoid and kick those kind of players.

Wish you could explain the collusion and what the bots do. I guess I have seen a similar question in the past with an interesting answer that favours the use of well decentralized system to solve or reduce the problem.
Centralized betting platforms not so transparent, so expect to see such problems.

It will depend on the game, and if we are talking about poker, there are plenty of arguments why poker sites actually want to have bots running, so counting on them to eliminate it from the game is probably not the best idea.

Any chance you can find that topic you mentioned?

In Poker you can always have a bot telling you what is the best thing that you should do and act or think at your place, because the server tell you what cards you have and you can choose which one you want to play. There are many elements that can be filtered by a bot to help you to make a decision that can have an impact on the result of the game.

In gambling games bot is useless and it's easy to secure the games because everything happen on the server. The player/client click on a button and it just tell to the server to run the game, nothing more, it can't be cheated without infiltrating the server and modifying the code (except if the developper is completely noob and didn't learn properly how to make an online game)

Not sure I can now.
But from the point the poster above (stonerstanl..) made, I guess things could be manipulated if the owner/owners want to. Maybe it won't be that easy for them due to provable fair and other similar feature. I guess the provable is used mostly in Crypto-based betting platforms. .

In my opinion, having a betting platform decentralized will take away the ownership control and potential abuses from one or few "connected" people, and make things more monitored  by randomized and anonymous betting community members.
I think a decentralized betting platforms should be:
Well decentralized, Transparent, immutable, anonymous/private, trustless/permissionless, censorship resistant, secure, consensus driven, etc to make them safer and secure from possible abuses by owners/admins

simple solution

stop playing online poker. get a few friends and have a real physical game.

I DO NOT TRADE OR ACT AS ESCROW ON THIS FORUM EVER.
Please do your own research & respect what is written here as both opinion & information gleaned from experience. many people replying with insults but no on-topic content substance, automatically are 'facepalmed' and yawned at

Even criminalizing this will not help to completely eradicate such a problem. All the same, there will be those who will continue to do it.
