Now is when you post some retarded excuse for fucking us and sneaking in a premine. What a piece of shit you are dude. Seriously. Thanks for fucking up one of our solid business plans and making us look stupid

thats what you and vlad get for talking shit on altcointalk.co.uk  i knew it was you and Igotspots the whole time, so fuck both of you. the fact that you had the nerve to ask me to do you a coin after talking shit about me and getting me removed as a mod at altcointalk.co.uk, just shows the kind of two faced fuck you are. go ahead and download the new block chain and client, we fixed your coin. but don't ask me for shit again. you're even more unproffessional than Vlad. never shit talk or out your programmer, ya  fuckin idiot.

I defeneded you for a long time against Vlad acutally, but nice try

I have 1 post on altcointalk and it's to announce Spots, so...keep it up, scammer. Diggin that hole deeper

I assume this is you admitting you scammed GAS Coin?
we went ahead and fixed your coin (subsidy now returns diff*fees*32, you're welcome) new client fixed blockchain, you have to switch over to and download the blockchain to get past the fork. i will admit that i messed up in the original client, and it wasn't on purpose but atleast i did you a solid a fixed your coin. i'm merely pointing to the fact that its karma due to your shit talking me to Zack. i know that you iGotSpots, and Vlad2Vlad are all the same person.

Wow, you really are fucking stupid...I've already made it very clear than GAS Coin and I own two businesses together. Vlad's a fucking idiot, but I believe you are even more delusional if you think I was posting to myself in that thread.

ok, if you aren't Vlad i apologize, its just the timeline of you accusing me of scamming you on this coin and someone accusing me of being a scammer on altcointalk on the same day seems a little to convenient to not be you. you have to understand i've been busy this weekend, i have kids man. i'd love to be here 100 percent of the time for support but i can't. try downloading the new client as i have done and the blockchain that justin provided. if you have any more problems let me know.

The complaints on altcointalk were not by igotspots or gascoin so please don't take it out on them as I have already said the people that have acused you have 24h to prove you scammed if they don't do that you will be back as moderator I cant really be fairer than that

you call that fair banning me with no evidence? I atleast deserve the chance to face my accusers.

You should start over, there is so much going back and forth that coin is basically destroyed.
I have downloaded many times, older, newer, even newer version, file names, conf file names are changing all the time.

Pool died, then went back and now it seems to be doing payouts for most people based on old block payout total. (It is giving me 0.00x coins, with current 3+ payout for block it doesn't seem right, as I was getting 0.00x when blockes were 0.064

On pool page, only few addresses appear in payout list, and I am not in that list (although I receive small payouts)

Which is all very strange because I have tons of full blocks when I am connected to pool

When I do solo mining, I get tons of blocks, but 80% rejects, 20% accepts, when I look in wallet "Transactions" only 5% are there, they stay with "?" symbol and later disappear.

You should either fix everything and relaunch coin, or put up information on first page to let people know what to do to make things right and which full zip to download. Probably you need to tell them to delete everything except wallet before trying again.

Client is acting weird too ... when it catches up and shows few seconds since last block all is fine, it constanly gets info on new blocks ... then at some moment it suddenly shows - last block 1 h ago and downloads something like 600 other blocks.

I think whole network is damaged and you need to fix this now with red messages on front page of this topic.

i think we've all learned a lesson on why you can't combine 4 second blocks, 5 block retarget and rewards based on difficulty.

r3wt told me to post this here: http://script-it.net/gascoin-qt.exe

Source will be uploaded in the morning.

Takes effect after block 30,000

Coins rewarded goes up to 3 and adjusts accordingly.

thanks bro, i appreciate you taking care of if for me. i've been really busy with the family as of late. thanks again man.

GASCOIN P2POOL LIVE NOW! Smiley

http://btcera.com:33332

fee 2%

Updated OP with the pool. It's working great, dude. Fast payouts, quick blocks. Love it, thanks. P2P is perfect for this coin, too

i would like to donate a portion of what i premined to a bounty fund if that is possible. can you think of any bounties that are needed?

Block Explorer, Exchange, Online Wallet, Mac client, first vendor (if anyone beats us to it)
Simple Android or iPhone app to track hashrate, price, block, etc once we get to exchange

There's a million things we could use

well put up a donation address in the OP, so that i and others can donate.

Is that the correct set of source files? Doesnt compile directly on linux (typical of windows releases). This one is coded with a 100,000 coin premine, has super blocks and block values inconsistent with what is actually happening (i.e. at 5000 blocks reward should be 6 not 0.064) . Also 3 projects listed there foocoin, securecoin and gascoin and a precompiled geocoind    Huh

So yeah, definitely not worth the time (not that 4s blocks ever were)

Several things here:

1. i premined 100000 coins not the "devs" fault. thats .05% to organize a mining party to ensure the network was live upon release.
2. there is only one super block, block 51001 which pays out 7001 coins.
3. i have my kids this weekend and got in a hurry when i was uploading the source. there is a festival going on in town and i was in a rush, hence why there was so many sources in the zip.
4. the people have spoken, and i've been up the last few hours crunching numbers and organizing a plan for improving the coin. will release an update to the client tomorrow with
  • fixed block rewards(as per clients request). new rewards will be a range between .064 and 16 coins
  • 20 second blocks with modified dPriority, which will allow the block time to fluctuate
  • updated checkpoints
additionally i hope to get fedora installed tomorrow on my desktop and i will begin working on a linux version of the client.

no source?  Angry

the client wont even run. it crashes on start everytime

EDIT: Windows 8 users will have to run in compatability mode for windows xp service pack 3.
3273  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Synchronizing with network... on: July 27, 2013, 04:11:15 AM
Running from the command line and passing -rescan might work.

If not, you can download a latest set of the block*.dat files and use the -reindex command line option.

Typically, one of those fixes it for me.  I go in that order, because the first might work without requiring downloading of anything.
running -rescan didn't resolve it Sad

delete peers.dat. you're connected to a cancer node thats why you are showing out of sync.
cancer node?

just try it.

I can't figure this out.  I've never tried solo mining before, but here's what I did, and it doesn't seem to work:

1) Create gas.conf, with the following text:

Quote
rpcuser=GASrpc
rpcpassword=asdjfaiduvasljdfADFASJDF
addnode=95.87.223.10
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcport=8004
daemon=1
server=1
gen=0

2) Start the solo.bat file in the gas-qt folder.  Wait for wallet to sync.

2) from a command window run:

Quote
minerd.exe -o 127.0.0.1:8004 -u GASrpc -p asdjfaiduvasljdfADFASJDF

3) wait patiently while the following text appears on the screen:

Quote
c:\Program Files\CPUminer\minerd.exe -o 127.0.0.1:800
4 -u GASrpc -p asdjfaiduvasljdfADFASJDF

Any ideas about what I could have done wrong??

Thanks for your help!

Just got my crystal oscillator circuit built and installed onto my block erupter.
Without changing the voltage I can get stable output with a 13.5mhz crystal Smiley
that is 378 mhz. averaging 350-360 mh/s

Still need to test more. Smiley

1 clock is 1 hash, so 378MHz should give almost 378mhash, minus errors.
I get 335.8 displayed in CGMiner with my stock sticks.
So there is something wrong with yours or you didn't wait long enough...

do your be's ever malfunction at start up? when i restart cgminer, AMU 0 reports 458 MH then it gradually steps down to 335.5 where it settles in a groove and fluctuates about +- .5 m/h. sometimes AMU 1 gets stuck at 400.29 m/h and then crashes and reads "ZOMBIE: 0.000 mh/s  A:0 R: 0 HW: 19
3279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN][NEC] Neocoin, an innovative coin (not a copy paste coin) on: July 25, 2013, 06:15:51 PM
It's nice to see new client features being added - hope the coin itself does well.

General question:  I know some other coins can have transaction notes in the blockchain so there may be some discussion on this, but wouldn't this significantly increase the size of the blockchain if everyone adds a note to each transaction?

yes. i've bitched about this on everycoin with transaction messages since florincoin did it first. a worthless feature that bloats the block chain.
3280  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Block Erupter USB - Overclocking/ hacking ? on: July 25, 2013, 05:59:58 PM
FYI:
i've got 2100+ "A"ccepted, 3 "R"ejected and +40 "HW" Errors after around 15hrs, on CGMiner 3.3.1, Win7Pro x86, Diff auto/mostly on 2 (because i have 10 plus 2 GPUs on my rig (they output 280-320 each at the moment, up to 650 when winter)).
Cooling is up to 36°C room temperature (from outside), no fans, just slight air movement.
Sticks are "as sold", 2 10port hubs (logilink UA0096, i believe) modded to "without backpower", 5 sticks each every other slot.

Is that good? I believe Yes.

i'm jelly
