Tergantung modal agan. Kalau cuma $100 pasti kalah dan ga worth it kalau poolnya gedhe.

3262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The cost of the world's financial systems on: March 05, 2021, 11:13:22 AM
It would be great if the source is mentioned though. The calculation method also has to be explained so we're talking on the same ground. For example, what is counted by "fiat printing", what makes it different from the banking system, etc.

Nice graphics btw.
3263  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: looking for recovery/unlock service for the scam company localbitcoins.com on: March 05, 2021, 08:36:35 AM
How they can steal my Bitcoins, if they dont have my OTP?
It's just a warning so you don't give any sensitive details, including your OTP. There's no way anyone except Localbitcoins can unlock and allow you to withdraw your coins, so there's really no other choice except to contact them and make noise on their social media channels.

This is was LBC answered to me, sounds like they scam me without metnioning any reason:
Yea, not surprised. Honestly, these services should at least return the money if they decided you won't be able to use the platform anymore instead of holding it. Unfortunately, the status quo sucks.
3264  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Distributed database project on: March 05, 2021, 07:55:29 AM
As far as I can remember, there are dozens of projects out there trying to solve the same problems as yours, albeit with different focuses. I think issuing a new coin is not necessary since you can simply ask for a payment from the customers and use it to rewards the data hosters.

Not everything requires a new token, you can simply use Bitcoin or other coins if it is only required for payment.
3265  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: There is more that meet the eye on: March 05, 2021, 07:32:15 AM
I don't see the essence of downloading a colorful or with a theme keyboard on Google Playstore. But yeah, it's a fact that there are people that would choose to have it rather than the integrated keyboard on our phones.
It's for customization, personal taste/style, and something similar. I've seen a lot of users use them, and by judging from the number of downloads, it is safe to say that there is a huge userbase that does this.

Unfortunately, most of them have low-security awareness though, so it is not that surprising. Things might change if they start reading more about security practice, or learn how to protect themselves when they start using cryptocurrency and stuff like that.
3266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I don't understand Ethereum on: March 04, 2021, 05:56:42 PM
I assumed the gas was taken out of the wallet when I send it automatically like how it happens with Bitcoin. Learned something new today and happily got my money.
Isn't that supposed to be the case? Not sure how you solve it by it looks like you made a self-transaction to replace your pending TX and then made a swap with more fees.

I assume your first swap failed because either you set a very low slippage, too many decimals, etc. It's not uncommon tbh, I got this kind of problem a few times with various assets, maybe we'll never see it in the future when Solidity or those smart contracts get updated.
3267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: yobit code blocked status on: March 04, 2021, 12:28:05 PM
The code expired might be the best explanation, but there is no way to verify it if the support doesn't even help you. I guess it's safe to say that you lose your money, at least it's not that much and you don't deposit anything.

Next time you should convert it to BTC or other assets that you can store on your own wallet, and then sell it if you feel the need to do it.
3268  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anyone here use tradingview? on: March 04, 2021, 11:26:24 AM
You don't have to pay if you just use the basic tools as far as I'm aware. According to this https://www.forex4noobs.com/tradingview-beginners-guide/ guide, you can use it by setting up a template. Check it out, there are more details there.
3269  Economy / Economics / Re: Cathie Wood - Non Fungible Tokens (NFT) & Wallets will disrupt the markets on: March 04, 2021, 08:42:07 AM
I feel like it's only the popular/reputable people that will benefit the most. Value will also depend on the rarity of an item.
I think that should be the case honestly since it's a form of collectibles in the first place. At least this will drastically reduce the cost if someone wants to creates their own digital art and then auction it, removing the need for third-party to maintain and secure the art which could easily get lost in the chain.

Honestly it feels like every year or so we got a new playground in crypto that is overvalued and later busted as a required process for the maturity of the market.
3270  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: All assets from Bitcoin Core wallet stolen on: March 04, 2021, 08:23:05 AM
How could someone got knowledge about private keys? Was the reason that Core node (and wallet) had to be open for several weeks for it to be synchronized?
I doubt that's the case, if that's true, many clients would be compromised already. Synchronization is required since you're running a full node. Make sure you verify your downloaded files by following the guide on https://bitcoincore.org/en/download/.

As Omega mentioned above, there is likely malware, virus, keylogger, or other forms of malicious software on your computer. I'd reinstall the OS after doing a full wipe and create a new wallet asap. Using the latest client would be preferable but even if you use the old version, there should be no problem (as long as the malware/etc has been wiped out). CMIIW.
3271  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How way you choose way to saving Bitcoin ? on: March 04, 2021, 08:06:55 AM
You can create a multi-sig wallet if you wanted to, but obviously, you need to store the seed/backup more carefully so you don't lose access to your wallet. I might consider splitting my balance if I have something I considered life-saving (which depends on where you live) though, as others mentioned above.

In the end, it depends on your lifestyle and the security around your place imo.
3272  Local / Altcoins (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: [Diskusi] Yield (YLD) on: March 03, 2021, 05:24:56 PM

3273  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Vindax exchange on: March 03, 2021, 12:54:30 PM
i think the team should something about the high gas fee.
They can't really do anything since it's mainly due to a busy network, but they should be able to change their policy and take a cut from the tokens you withdraw instead, just like any other exchange. It seems like they're trying to milk as much money as possible through the withdrawal fees. I guess there is not enough volume to make their business profitable from the trading fees alone.
3274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Where to Buy These Tokens/Coin? on: March 03, 2021, 11:21:35 AM
You can use CMC as you linked above, or other sites like Coingecko to find them. As to how to research and find those hidden gems, there's no easy way except trying to follow as many channels as possible. For example, you can lurk around on Twitter and find those who posted regular calls about hidden gems, etc. There is no easy way, and nearly 90% of the time you'll miss them. There is also an element of luck involved, so don't be too emtional about it.
3275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What wallet has the most crypto alts supported with the lowest fees to swap? on: March 03, 2021, 09:00:41 AM
I've seen many users have problems with Atomic Wallet, so I won't recommend them as your go-to wallet, maybe it should be a third-priority or so. Trust Wallet is closed source so that's that. I personally hold all my coins on Ledger Nano X and my Nano S, if I need to swap I can easily connect it to dex like Binance DEX or Uni/Sushi.

I think trant made a good point. If you want to make regular trades between different coins/chains, maybe you should stick with CEX instead. Most of their trading and withdrawal fees are still smaller compared to DEX, but things might change if we see an update on various chains to lower the fees, like ETH2.0.
3276  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: what trading communities do you hang around? on: March 03, 2021, 08:36:19 AM
I follow Techtipstogo and The Dude since a few months ago. Their community is decent enough if you want to search for opportunities and share ideas with others, but obviously, there's a lot of shillers who only post and promote their projects with low-quality posts. Both of them are on Telegram.

You can always move your topic with the move function, check out at the bottom of the page. Should be there.

3277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Kucoin on: March 03, 2021, 08:23:33 AM
So what is the point of buying aave or anything in bitcoin.
Why not just buy in euro.
I think you're confusing something here. You don't multiply your ROI by price rise on AAVE * price rise on BTC. BTC is just another pair of your coin, similar to how you use fiat to denominate the price of a phone. So either you calculate your AAVE price rise on USD or BTC, not multiplying them.

If you still don't get this, let's say you have a phone X, you bought it for $10 (equivalent to 8 euro when you bought it). Now the price in dollars rises to $30, but dollar to euro fell, so your phone is worth something like 24 euro.
3278  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have an old laptop I purchased used in 2011 on: March 03, 2021, 07:45:02 AM
i once had tried using Recuva a long time ago, it could have changed now but as far as i know, it will replace the name of the recovered files making it difficult to see which could be bitcoin-related files.  its better to just check the background of the person whom you have bought the laptop instead before doing it else it would just be a complete waste.
I'm quite familiar with Recuva as well, as far as I can remember the renaming is a custom and you can easily rename it to something like wallet.dat. But if OP did found a wallet file, doesn't that means it belongs to the previous owner even if you buy the laptop? There might be a chance that he already recovers it too.

Anyway, since Windows 10 introduce something like secure write, even a simple delete makes the file impossible to recover with Recuva today. I also believe that the chance of finding any crypto is close to zero considering the story.
3279  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Many people think that Bitcoin is not a currency with practical uses on: March 03, 2021, 07:23:59 AM
So, is the Bitcoin bubble about to burst?
Honestly, I don't see the correlation between the quote you posted and this question. This kind of opinion has been around for years already, so it should not be that surprising to see (and most of the time they turn out wrong). If anything, it gets mentioned more and more when the bear strike back.

There's a lot of stuff going on on the background, new use cases being found, new technology being adopted etc to solve whatever problem is popping out. Even bitcoin-powered stores is still going strong today.
