1  Local / Trading dan Spekulasi / Re: Terima Kasih Trader, Pajak Crypto Terkumpul 112 Milyar Awal Tahun Ini Saja on: May 06, 2024, 03:58:48 PM
2  Local / Altcoins (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: Tolong sebutkan 5 jenis altcoin terbaik 2024? on: May 06, 2024, 03:39:25 PM

4  Local / Topik Lainnya / Re: Diskusi Liga Champion 2023/2024 on: May 05, 2024, 04:11:54 PM
5  Local / Topik Lainnya / Re: Diskusi Timnas Indonesia on: May 05, 2024, 03:29:20 PM
6  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: [INFO] Informasi Phishing, Malware, Virus Dst (WAJIB BACA) on: May 05, 2024, 02:51:39 PM
Berikut beberapa berita terkait malware yang menurut ane cukup menarik dalam beberapa minggu terakhir:

7  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: [INFO] zkSNACKs Menghentikan Coinjoin Coordination Service pada 1 Juni 2024 on: May 05, 2024, 02:19:28 PM
8  Local / Topik Lainnya / Re: [DISKUSI] Saran Film Yang Bagus on: May 04, 2024, 05:14:36 PM
Mungkin bisa ngecek film animasi lainnya, kayak Sword of the Stranger?
9  Economy / Gambling / Re: BC.Game asking for KYC before letting me Withdraw on: May 04, 2024, 04:54:34 PM
Apparently they are stuck on me sending my passport. (which i did, its just expired). Ill renew it now. Takes about 2 weeks. Guess I have no other choice.
At least there is a clear action that you can take, although I'm not sure how they decide your passport is not faked too. Their reasoning for not accepting your ID is that there is an increase in fake IDs being used by people, does this mean there is an increase in fake IDs in the market? I'm also surprised residence permit/proof is also not accepted for a similar reason. I guess it means they don't want to verify each document manually and resort to international documents for an easier verification process.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do casinos require users to verify their identity through a KYC policy? on: May 04, 2024, 04:25:43 PM
Fortunately, I haven't had any negative experience from complying so maybe it still depends on the platforms you engage yourself with.
I don't have any experience with casino platforms for KYC issues, but I've seen some services that I used fall for database attacks. I don't think any platform is truly immune to this, so the only way to decrease the risk is to avoid KYC if possible. I don't think my opinion will change unless we can verify how a company manages their user data, since some of them were found to do some terrible security practices even though they're a big company. It makes me wonder why the government doesn't enforce or give sentences to any company that has terrible database security, which should improve how a company protects customers' data a little bit.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Conference League 2023/24 Season on: May 04, 2024, 04:08:32 PM
Perhaps Aston Villa themselves are to blame for this defeat, since conceding 4 goals from just 5 shots on target is too much. It's strange, Aston Villa beat Ajax and Lille to end up like this in the semi-finals.
I mean, isn't that the beauty of a football game? No team is guaranteed to win and anything can happen due to various factors, from a terrible referee to some unlucky situations that occurred in a short amount of time. On top of that, it is hard to see the mental part of the game which affects how well a team plays in a cup competition or knock-out stage like this. It is disappointing for Villa fans, but that's how the game works. You could say the same thing when they win next time against a strong opponent, so that's that.
12  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why they need a license if bitcon is not money? on: May 04, 2024, 03:23:13 PM
I think the discussion about problems with BTC for offline transactions is getting a bit off-topic for this thread, it would be better to start a discussion in another thread IMO. Whether Bitcoin is easy to use for everyday transactions has little relevance to the government regulating cryptocurrency casinos, especially when most of them are online. Even if there are offline casinos that accept Bitcoin as a payment to buy chips, the law likely considers Bitcoin as a legal means of payment even if they don't lump it together with fiat. CMIIW.
13  Economy / Gambling / Re: BC.Game asking for KYC before letting me Withdraw on: May 02, 2024, 03:42:18 PM
Meanwhile no one in support can tell me why my KYC is not being verified. Besides telling me they reset it for the 5th time to try again.
Just wait a little bit, as mentioned before they're asking you to wait for a day or two before you can start submitting your documents again iirc. If your limit is raised maybe your KYC is accepted, but they haven't updated the system yet. Who knows, as long as you know which documents are accepted and they confirm it with you, you can submit it again later.
14  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why not create a Gambling platform on Market narrative? on: May 02, 2024, 03:35:26 PM
even Futuur mate is having predictions from any point of crypto to science and even politics and sports , which means prediction becomes more popular nowadays.
That or they are one of the first to serve the prediction market in a niche market. At the very least, one of the few platforms that offers crypto prediction. Becoming the first on something helps them, although you could argue some businesses are not pioneers but become the most popular ones due to marketing. Nothing is wrong with that though, that's just how the market works in general. Not sure how to make a prediction market more unique in the future though, maybe improving the service quality will be the way to compete in the future. CMIIW.
15  Economy / Gambling / Re: Share trusted VPN Friendly crypto casinos on: May 02, 2024, 02:40:31 PM
-snip-
I guess it depends on which casino you're following, but most of the time whenever a ToS is updated the pages will show the edited time, plus some businesses send e-mails whenever their privacy policy is updated. Building a bot to track if a ToS page is changed is also good though, even though I'm not sure it will be useful for a business that regularly sends info whenever their policy is changed.

Today's casinos must be Smarter , they must not be Complicated , Accepting the VPN must be normal , the idea is that they enter the Casino and Can Carry out the Operations , that is why we will always devise a way enter Because they don't let us enter based on our Location, and that seems very non-Inclusive to me
What's the basis for saying accepting VPN should be the new standard? I guess that's true if you use a casino that focuses on privacy, but not for regular casinos. It's not really about inclusivity IMO, it is more about staying out of legal troubles.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: No gambling today due to bitcoin high transaction fee. on: May 02, 2024, 01:50:49 PM
I don't think it requires a lot of work because 3rd party, called poorbot.io, created an exchange service for Stake. They can build a local exchange and manage exchanges locally or they can use some 3rd party exchange providers that take care of the exchanges, they'll probably do it via some exchange APIs. In this case, they might require another license.
I know that service, afaik, as they use Stake bot APIs to create an 'exchange' service, but it is using their tipping service which is probably not available on other casinos. Sure, other casinos can ask third parties to build a service like that, but I doubt casinos view that as a priority. I mean, a government can easily claim they're trying to run an exchange business when they do that, while Stake in this case can say they're not affiliated with any third-party service. CMIIW.

Many people prefer to gamble in Bitcoins and in situations when transaction fees are ridiculously high, people aren't able to withdraw their Bitcoins because transaction fees will eat up what they have. In order to attract customers and make service still nice for them in such extreme circumstances, it's a good idea to offer inner exchange.
If the problem is the withdrawal, most casino offers altcoins, don't they? Maybe this is the solution from their side. Based on the comments above, most people seem to view this as the preferred way to withdraw whenever a Bitcoin transaction is getting expensive. I still think LN is an alternative that is easy to manage compared to running an exchange for the deposit problem as of now. CMIIW.
17  Economy / Gambling / Re: I want to be a video game streamer on the kik.com gambling stream crypto site. on: May 02, 2024, 01:19:56 PM
Coming from someone who has a dream of becoming a streamer, I can tell you that it is not as easy as it seems, there are many challenges and difficulties that you will need to face, you won't know it until you start, trust me many started as a streamer and ended up selling their hardware and tools, they just gave up.
-snip-
This path will consume your whole life, you will be more of an inside person, maybe an introvert or something, you will always be indoors, and you will spend less time with your friends because you will need to keep your viewers entertained every blessed day, you will always be in front of that camera to be a successful streamer.
Unfortunately, that's the case for many entrepreneurs or digital media jobs nowadays. From streamers, digital content creators, indie dev, etc. Luck and timing are two of the factors that you need but can't control in any way. Being unique is also necessary, especially if there are tons of streamers in your niche already. I remember hearing how a streamer tell his story that he felt lucky he started when a lot of streamers in his niche quit, so he easily became one of the more popular streamers for that niche simply because he's the one who consistently streams.

I'm not sure about how it will impact your personality though. I guess it depends on the content. I mean, if OP wants to continue streaming on Kick he can stream different games, go outside and do some challenge for the next games for content, and so on.
18  Economy / Gambling / Re: BC.Game asking for KYC before letting me Withdraw on: May 01, 2024, 03:59:54 PM
Support says they received it but my ID is not considered a form of ID? Truly dont understand.
Not surprising since some services don't accept driving IDs as the support replied. Just try to open a new chat/support window and ask them again about it. Create a new ticket or something similar, or just post on the ANN thread and contact their representative here so they can communicate with you directly.
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: No gambling today due to bitcoin high transaction fee. on: May 01, 2024, 02:55:25 PM
I personally suggest every casino to implement built-in crypto exchange that will help customers to exchange altcoins to alt/BTC and opposite with reasonable rate. This will help customers to deposit in altcoins, gamble in Bitcoin and then withdraw in altcoins to finally get their money without paying ridiculous transaction fees.
I think that requires a lot of work since you're basically functioning as an exchange at that point. They will require another license depending on where they're registered, and I'm sure the cost to get one is probably not worth it. It adds another layer of security issues that have been proven to be difficult to solve by bigger companies. Asking for more convenience is a bit much IMO, considering how many alternatives the user can do to find lower cost. On the other hand, I do agree that adding something like Lightning Network is an acceptable request.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you depend on game predictions by supercomputers? on: May 01, 2024, 02:07:40 PM
No matter how advanced an AI model might become, it will always work in the same way and that way is that it will process data that has been fed to it and generate answers and results based on that, it doesn't have a brain to think and come up with something new or think out of the box.
To be fair we don't really need out-of-the-box thinking to predict which side will win a game, that's just how prediction inherently works. No amount of data can predict the future accurately, regardless of the algorithm that you used. I mean, I guess you can create some randomness to mimick how real people behave, but it will take tons of data for the same probability of making a wrong bet since the game can easily get affected by other things. On the other hand, stats are flawed in this case since they don't take into account that humans are playing the game, not every team is the same even though their name is "Bayern Munich" since the 90s, for example. CMIIW.
