3261  Other / Meta / Re: [Request to mod/admin] Can I create a topic on "other language"? on: December 01, 2021, 04:12:50 PM
I appreciate what you are actually trying to do but even if you collect all the post which have some information for newbie and post it on B&H or in other English section people still not going to understand it right so great effort will become completely useless. Maybe you can translate them and compile them in other board which is also allowed as per the forum rules and it won't fall under the plagiarism as well when you give credits to the respective authors.
3262  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the sites where it is paid daily or weekly with STAKING on: December 01, 2021, 03:26:21 PM
Are you really going to take the risk for few cents while potentially you can lose few thousands in a day? Staking is not a good idea better day trade if you are really looking to make some real money with high risk taking ability.

Dont forget that we can lose our few thousands in a day with trading too  Cheesy, when it comes to staking you should do some research about the website first there's a lot websites that gives you good staking rewards with good trust like binance, pancakeswap and others. Staking is a really good option for people who are busy in real life but also want to earn some money too.
Yeah, the same level of risk for the very huge difference in the returns, look at the APY of reputed staking platforms which will be 5 to 6% so how much it is going to be if we take out in a day or week. Staking with stable coin for long term make sense to me who are really rich and busy with their life, so they can dump their money somewhere and get something in return.

I think this shows how few forum members there are that are active and stay active.
Yep, the golden days were in 2018 particularly till Jan after that everything changed. Cheesy But sometimes its boring too without lot of active members because I felt there is lack of new threads so I don't learn something new everyday but theymos have no other choice than introducing such system since 2017 the number of spammers increased a lot due to the bigger recognition for crypto in the worldwide and also bounties gave opportunities to make few thousand dollars and there are stories who even earned millions with farm.

@OP, you no need to create new thread every time when you achieve something, you can maintain a single thread to post all your achievements in a single thread and keep them updated if you want someone to get motivated with such stories.

Its thief not theft, better learn the English first before talking about codes and hacking. Tongue

Anyway the ethical thief please accept his challenge and prove who you are, if you don't then its a great insult for you and maybe for all your upcoming generation as well (no offense just get the sarcasm dudes). I expect this morally ethical thief to do some action against the challenge and ready with my pop corn too.
3266  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do I need a Coinbase Wallet, as well as the Coinbase account? on: November 30, 2021, 04:49:00 PM
Sheenshane, I think I do understand the difference.

The question remains...
Regardless of where the non-custodial wallet comes from (Coinbase, or anywhere else),
THEY create that seed-phrase and send it to me,
so therefore They have (or had at one time) knowledge of that seed-phrase.
I hafta' Trust that they didn't Save that seed-phrase somewhere.  Correct?

.

First of all Electrum is not creating our private keys, its generated by our OS and it picks the random words depends on what kind of wallet we are creating, and its different for legacy, segwit and 2FA as far as I know so you can trust that only you know the keys and that's why you have to keep it safe and never let it go online.

Stupid
Hey stupid! Tongue

Stop trolling here because it is actually a violation of forum rules and your proof doesn't prove anything what you are claiming here and you said that you did that for money and wanted the money from the admin but if he refused then why you are waiting to make money by selling the database since you have access to their wallet and can any deposit address from any user to your desired address, you simply replace and get the shit instead of begging. 3268  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: It is a dumb question but I need your help :) on: November 30, 2021, 02:21:22 PM
I don't know this is actually causing the problem but I faced this once on brave browser and got really pissed off but at the end the solution is really simple just tried zooming out the page and it worked out.

So you can try the same as well by clicking ctrl + -/+. And let me know if resolved. Smiley
3269  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: is crypto trading different from forex trading. on: November 28, 2021, 02:05:39 PM
The technical analysis are just the same, however, the volatility is not. Trading in cryptocurrency has more risk than trading in forex (depends on how much risk you put in forex though). For me, it's more fun trading in cryptocurrency and easier to familiarize than in the real currency we have in the whole globe. Profits is better also in cryptocurrency, trading platforms in cryptocurrency is much better as well compare to forex.
Also you can avoid lot of hidden fees while trading cryptos but with forex you need to spend a lot for the fee and tax, but when the crypto trading is legal you have to pay more taxes which is almost equivalent to corporate taxes in some countries. But I can agree with the fun part, trading crypto is easier and once we get to know and familiarize with it then it will be more easier than other kind of tradings.
3270  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't use your bitcointalk account password on other websites on: November 28, 2021, 09:16:11 AM
Some simple steps can save us from lot of phishing like
Your numbers 1–5 as enumerated in your post are apt. Though I think item 4 will be a lot more difficult to avoid since a lot of sites will need app downloads from Google playstore or apple. However, the catch there is to make sure one is certain that the site in question has an app to be downloaded before heading to a third party for it. As for those using simple passwords, it's advisable not to. I guess a lot of people use simple password so they can easily recall it off by heart instead of writing it down on paper. That's not good to want to remember it that way. We should know that the mind is sometimes subject to forgetfulness. Write out the passwords, and since one is writing it out it will be nice to make it a strong and difficult one. There's no harm in doing that.
I said about third party website like apart from downloading on playstore and app market for PC apart from official website so we can trust the application we are downloaded to install. Having password which is completely random and more difficult to remember is good but still it can be brute forced still it is not going to happen for all the account even if its hacked we have 14 days to lock the account then we can further proceed for account recovery.
3271  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: November 28, 2021, 07:25:59 AM

I'm using dummy mail for registering an account here and everywhere since this is more safer option to do, so make sure you have the number so that when verification process come up you will have your important codes to verify your email. And in my opinion if you put your main mail upon registration on every site you go then you maybe prone from hacking since if your email got hack all of your accounts registered by using that email will be compromise.
It is not a dummy email as long as you have access to it, probably you can say its your secondary or third email or even 10th email its not really matters as long as you have access and can give authentication to your account when it's need. Emails may receive lot of spam messages and some of them may have phishing links that's why you should not let you primary email float through all around the internet.
3272  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoins economic growth is enormous in India | Amazing Future ahead on: November 27, 2021, 06:07:38 PM
There are many reports that India is a country that uses bitcoin and the top 3 largest cryptocurrencies after China and the USA, with the second largest population after China, of course, it is a good opportunity if the Indian government legalizes crypto such as El Salvador, and with the potential that continues to grow, it will make Indian citizens gain increased well-being.

India is neither have good approach towards regulating the Bitcoin nor they hold too much amount of bitcoin as you claims, they have huge amount of population but their Central bank trying to stop the adoption from the beginning by restricting cryptocurrency trading then it was ruled over by the court, now they are trying to pass bill against cryptocurrency in near future.
3273  Other / Meta / Re: 'Bitcoin Discussion' down in search results on: November 27, 2021, 04:32:12 PM
Idk why I'm making this post but few months ago when I used to search 'Bitcoin discussion' in Google search - the first search would be this forum's 'Bitcoin discussion'. Now, it's 6-7th place.

Yes that was post, what's your opinion about this? Lol
For me its showing as the 5th result including to sponsored ads while searching with the Google Chrome browser. And the same list while trying on the different browsers but when I tried different search engines the results were different and search engine with no ads showed it in the first or second. Probably the traffic can be the reason and we all know who gives money to ads will get the first spot and follows depends on the appropriate keywords used.
3274  Economy / Reputation / Re: Do you think Lightlord behavior is acceptable? on: November 27, 2021, 01:59:50 PM
People are not complaining about the hot wallet anymore as far as I noticed in both of their ANN threads but all these drama is going related to the campaigns but the manager clearly said that the campaign is on hold and Lightlord promised to escrow the funds but after that he didn't made any comment regarding that if I am not wrong.

Consider it from his perspective if he's still ill: he paid everyone, he's working on his health, sleeping a lot*, visiting doctors* and taking the time he needs to recover*. I can imagine continuing his online activities is currently not a priority.

* Slight speculation from my side
Taking care of his health should be the first priority now but he is logging into the account from to time but I am not sure that is he actually logging in or someone else but what people expecting is something professional, he can say about this to solve all the drama but he is being silent all the time. 3275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling Court on: November 27, 2021, 08:06:22 AM
Online gambling court for every country or universal court for all the country residents?

This is a concept which is not practical to implement and every country has their own laws to protect their citizens from scams so if anyone wants to go to the court then it should be their respective country.
3276  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Kucoin scam or not? on: November 27, 2021, 06:21:25 AM
So far, generally, I consider KuCoin as less a scam than not. As with all exchanges, glitches are unavoidable. I don't think there is a single centralized exchange where there is not a single user fund that is stuck.

User u/BCHcain has all the reason to make noise because of the amount involved as well as the period of time the funds are stuck. He/she deserves a better explanation for it. But I don't think KuCoin is going to scam him/her of that amount.

However, I guess responses to troubled users should perhaps show a little commiseration and urgency in their tune. KuCoin, especially the CEO, may find user complaints and the amounts involved insignificant but they could mean everything to them.

The problem, on the other hand, is that almost every single user who is not attended to immediately by the support could easily exclaim scam. Every single day their funds are not yet released is a day of branding the exchange scam.

Exchanges may have bugs or glitches but how soon they are resolving really matters, even if its a week or two its acceptable but few months is not really tolerable for someone who is waiting to make profits since the market is crashing so justice delayed is similar to justice denied but this exist in almost every exchange which kind of attitude should be changed for better user experience.
3277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Feels like im being ripped off on: November 26, 2021, 03:57:37 PM
Where are you trying to withdraw the funds to? I'm thinking they ONLY allow transfers to their web wallet and then you'll have to withdraw to an address from there...

Have you checked their web wallet/maybe a dashboard overview if they have one, to see if the coins are just there?

im withdrawing to their web wallet, it is the only provided option. they say they will have it transferred within 2 days for a small fee... but it refunds me minus the fee.
Access blockchain wallet from the web browser and see what its showing there because app if full of bugs even I am annoyed lot of times while using it. And they have customer support too for that you have to raise a support ticket via this link https://support.blockchain.com/hc/en-us/requests/new then wait for their reply. You also can contact them via official Twitter here : https://twitter.com/AskBlockchain

i do use the web wallet,

i finally got a reply by email but now its been 3 days and no response to my feedback. i also messaged multiple times on twitter, again i got 1 reply and not a second
I am saying that access the web wallet in the desktop mode not via the app in your smartphone because many features and details won't be displayed in the app but you can get clear idea of what is going on in your wallet.

Anyway what the reply from blockchain said? Can you share that with us!
3278  Other / Meta / Re: This board is not keeping up with current times on: November 26, 2021, 02:37:29 PM
All about bitcoin, then the (alrightish) trading area, and then the meta.
How about altcoins? How about DeFi, NFTs, metaverse and everything trending these days?
Times are changing guys, it's not 2017 anymore.
Shitcoins may come and go but Bitcoin stays forever. Cool

Well, meta is to discuss about something related to the forum even you can't discuss about Bitcoin in the meta board so every board has its own purpose and all the shitcoins goes to the altcoin discussion board so there you go!  Tongue
3279  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My crypto is stolen by CoinPark and they are not responding... What should I do? on: November 26, 2021, 09:35:14 AM
Anyways, that's why I hate crypto.. too much unstabilities and scam artists everywhere.. I will never get into crypto again...
You can't blame chicken if you ate dishes from the worst rated restaurant city and that's how similar you are blaming cryptocurrency because you deposited money into scam exchange.

Before making any financial investment take a deep analysis about the platform because its your money so you can't simply trust because someone told you that you can trust them. I never heard of that exchange so you're probably screwed here and a costly lesson but there are lot of legit exchanges where you can even trust for million dollars. Smiley
3280  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: November 26, 2021, 08:33:19 AM
But you guys should be very careful while doing this since its clearly mention in the Roobet's ToS, they don't want you to register on their sites with throwaway emails because they may need it for verification in the future so if you are already having a secondary mail which is used for all the promotional related stuffs then its okay but never use the email which you don't lose your access or else you may face issues later.

Instead of Using a dummy email, You could use your own different email created by you. Gmail and yahoo are free services. You can create an email within a few minutes. IDK Why people suggesting to use dummy email for such important things. If you forget your password, you cannot recover your account. Sometimes casino needs verification. it happens often. if you log in from different IP, Casino needs device verification/New login verification Via Email. I think it's very important if you are a gambler.

Not only for gamblers but whoever using a platform/service should not commit sich mistake of using dummy email for the registration purpose, and ofcourse device Authorization maybe needed as well in case we are logging in from new device so if we don't have access to the email we used then we are done, we can't do anything further.
