I had only 1 ticket, and I knew my chances were slim.
Slim huh? Thats close to impossible Tongue. I had 12 from sportsbook wager but I dont even bother to check the winner list because I know for sure that my name is definitely not going to be on the list. If one day I hit one of these huge prize with less than 100 tickets, I would be scared that I would jinx something bad right after that LOL
This made me laugh. Grin
But seriously even we only have few tickets, the fact that you have an entry is still a chance that you might be lucky and win. So I believe nothing is impossible if you're destined to be lucky.
~

...  and have at least one ticket, right? Because destined or not, you'll get f**k all with no tickets in any case. If you think Lady Luck favours you, earn a ticket, give Lady a chance to prove herself. Smiley
3264  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | Earn up to 50% rakeback | VIP | on: July 08, 2022, 10:02:50 AM
At least it has something to do with what is being discussed, including the promotion of Duelbits. People are talking about how effective Duelbits is at running such promotions on Twitter and discussing some of the games available in its casino.
We don't have data to analyze it, only the Duelbits internal team have it.
~

~would be really nice to be able to check the data into costumer retention, churn rates, and if revenue comes more from new costumer or existing ones.
I know this is internal data and probably won't be shared
~

It's my long time dream to get some data of this sort, not only on Duelbits, but about any major crytpto gambling site, but it looks like that's a classified information. And I can understand that the most recent info maybe should be kept secret, but what about something 5-6 years ago? Duelbits is around only for 2 and a half years, so they probably can't help now, but can we expect a disclosure in the future?
3265  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: July 08, 2022, 09:18:43 AM
I don't know since when it's there
~
but only noticed it today, and it's a great feature. I personally can exchange only 1 WOF ticket per day, but it's better than nothing, and I'm planning to do it until it's over, or I run out of Reward Points.

If I'm not mistaken, this feature was added to the site a few months ago, probably at the beginning of spring. Although it doesn't matter because this is a really great feature, especially for those users who want to get extra WOF spins. The only thing is there is no information about how much you need to wager to increase your daily limit. As for me, it would be better if they added a progress bar(percentage) for this feature.

That's what I would like to know too. Couldn't find the info anywhere.
Yes, I know that theoretically you can get 120 WOF spins per day without wagering anything, just with using this feature

And that would be 37.5 RP per spin, even cheaper than 50, right? But I say "theoretically" because who can do it 24 times per day? I personally can manage 15 per day max, and it's in rare cases. Normally it's 10 per day or less than that. And if it's 10, it means 50 WOF spins for 4,500 RP, or, 90 RP for 1 WOF ticket. I mean, I'd rather pay 50, right? Smiley
3266  Economy / Economics / Re: The BTC price must stabilize in the long run. on: July 07, 2022, 01:03:23 PM
And when btc finally stabilizes people will then wishes it to fluctuate because how can they be able to buy cheap and how can they be able to earn massively? That's always their mentality so better if we will just ignore them.

We don't need them here and even if most of them are gone, there's still a lot of btc supporters out there and there will always be new people that will enter on this space. Solana and other top alts aren't the one that gave btc a bad name but it was those scam coins. It's also the fault of those who invest on them. Once those people get scammed, this will then create a headline and those who don't have a knowledge in crypto will think that all here are scam including the btc.

True, but we can't avoid situations like that. Scammers, they will always be there, associated with a project no matter how good the project itself is. But, of course, scamming people is a bad thing, while trading is not. There's nothing wrong with buying low and selling high. So, I personally don't mind volatility much. Our world is volatile, and Bitcoin is a part of it.
3267  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An alternative to gambling with money. on: July 07, 2022, 11:52:03 AM
~ A better suggestion and an alternative to quitting gambling completely is to start betting with fake money gambling apps. With FAKE MONEY GAMBLING APPS, you can continue gambling on the app even on live games, but with fake money. So in reality you can maintain the experience you derive from gambling and not loose any money except the fake one in the process.
~

I have a better suggestion. Works for me, at least.

Play for real, but with very small amounts. This way you are not losing significant amounts ever, but you can still win something good like when hitting 1,000x+ multiplier on slots, or dice, or any other game with similar multipliers possible. You can't do that with sports betting though. No, wait, you can actually. You can possibly win with huge multipliers using MULTI on sports betting. So, yeah, micro betting is a better solution, imo.

Besides, you don't need apps to play with fake money. All slots I know have DEMO mode. You can choose playing in that mode, and you'll be given FUN money(or FAKE MONEY, if you will)

But, as was mentioned above, it's not actually that entertaining.
3268  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "I'll wait for the dip!" - The Crypto Noob Cycle on: July 07, 2022, 10:46:07 AM
I have committed this kind of mistake when I was a newbie in Bitcoin investing. I was afraid to make a mistake not knowing that fearing the market is already a wrong decision. Most newbies go through this habit of waiting and missing the right opportunity to buy but as chances go by, we learn from these mistakes. We'll be able to notice that the bear season is already an open opportunity for everyone to buy and not wait further. If we'll always fear the market, we'll end up with regrets every time the prices recover.

This is true for Bitcoin, but not so much for other cryptos or stocks. I mean, it's hard for people not following Bitcoin journey that closely to understand the difference. I kinda pity them because they are missing a great opportunity, but, as our experience shows, we can't do much in regards to helping them understand the difference.

3270  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Japanese man gambled away a huge Covid-19 relief funds mistakenly sent to him on: July 07, 2022, 10:12:36 AM
We all see this situation differently, but I really feel sorry for the guy. The idea is that he was hurt because of someone else's mistake. Yes, he's also partly to blame for spending someone else's money, but if it wasn't for the transfer, he wouldn't be in trouble. I sincerely wish him to sort out these problems as soon as possible and get back to a normal life without these crazy debts and jail.
You wont really be making yourself to put into trouble if you hadnt just make use of those funds which isnt yours. Its not really that ethical of been using those funds which is understandable that it was just an accident and it is really just right that you wont really be spending those funds which it isnt yours because if you dont expect something like that where big money comes into your account then its just normal
that you would be thinking that it is someone else money and is it right really right for you to gambler those funds just because they had mistakenly sent it out into your account?
Of course not and now you would really be experiencing the consequences of the actions that you had made out.

This is the essence of the problem. It doesn't matter whether he gambled it away or bought pornography or some shady stocks with the whole amount. He shouldn't be touching the money, in the first place.

What he was thinking was: "I'll win some extra through gambling and then will return the funds". Ethics aside, it's like borrowing money for gambling. No one should ever do that.
3271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reasons why people avoid KYC in gambling casino ? on: July 07, 2022, 09:49:24 AM
~
1 - when someone deposits a lot of money in the casino they don't ask for KYC

There are gambling sites where you can't register, or, you can't even open the front page because of the area restriction. It's not a full KYC, but kinda in the same ballpark.

2 - when someone loses a lot of money at the casino they don't ask for KYC

They simply can't do that in that case. Actually, this made me smile when I thought of it. Imagine, a casino asking you for KYC before showing you the result of your lost huge bet. Smiley Such a practice could be exploited brutally by some gamblers.
3272  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Most of us have lived a world of USD dominance, but history changes on: July 06, 2022, 11:45:15 AM

We can't even win the battle against whether or not you want to get the COVID shot or not. Rights guaranteed by the constitution are a joke as the last two years have proven. You have the right to listen to what you are being told and do as we say or be limited and oppressed in the ways we want.

That's what women could say about their rights 50 years ago, and look at the world now! Same goes for various minorities in the civilized world. Now, I'm not talking about dictatorships and stuff. In those countries things are exactly as you described. But in the Free World people are getting more and more freedoms with time, and if they decide to use Bitcoin as their money, they can do so. Fortunately, countries like Turkmenistan, where government has unlimited power and ordinary people have none, do not belong to the future, so, there's a good chance that BTC will be doing alright soon.

3274  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: THIS CRASH IS DIFFERENT than previous crashes... The FEDERAL RESERVE is why.... on: July 06, 2022, 09:47:12 AM

its about finding the ultimate bottom.. the actual bottom cost they refuse and impossible to sell below.. . concentrating on the low/bottom
~

Alright, first off, Thank you for taking time to explain all of it with such thoroughness.

Can you please say what's in your opionion is the ultimate bottom for BTC? Yeah, I know it will be just your opinion, not a financial advice, but still it would be interesting to know your opinion on this matter.
~
the answer is.. the price is not at the $70k premium and so it must be cheap.
..
as for wanting spoonfed answer to an exact bottom VALUE. for emphasis: the bottom VALUE can move. due to many factors. as soon as a number is seen by a majority.. it would in fact end up being the cause of shifting that number.
so any number given, is outdated as soon as its given.

but right now, bar any catastrophy of a major code bug or world wide power outage, etc.. the price is in the very good very cheap value range near the bottom

Thank you. That's what I think too. If we discard very unlikely events, we can say that we are there, near the new bottom now. It doesn't mean it's time to sell everything and buy BTC. I bet some people can ignore Bitcoin completely during the next couple of years, and still be doing OK. Like you can ignore Kindle, and think that it will never be as good as paper books, but the reality is, it is better, the future of reading  belongs to it, same as the future of money belongs to Bitcoin.
3275  Economy / Gambling / Re: How do you know how to trust online sportsbooks? on: July 06, 2022, 09:06:00 AM
~
Sometimes you also need to see who are those people gives their feedbacks because sometimes there are casino thread creator pays a thread bumper just to show to the forum users that they have relevance and their casino is good according to their paid reviews. But threads here is really a good reference its just we need to scan those reviews if that one came from legitimate people who test their casino and not those fake nor spamming users.

I personally wouldn't worry about such cases. bitcointalk is not kind of site where an unfair review of a gambling site can go unnoticed and just hang there forever. Write such a review and a massive backlash is unavoidable. Overall, it will do no good to a site that wanted to misrepresent itself.
Agreed!
Bitcointalk is not that kind of a forum. If someone is caught doping such things then apart from the backlash they might also get banned or might get an instant negative trust for scamming. There have been instances in the past so there are a lot of mechanism in place here. I would always believe on the feedback left on the respective threads by forum user.

The trust system and the merit system on this forum allows to see right away who's the person that left this or that feedback. And the system itself is not complicated at all: green is good, red is bad, yellow - be careful, and if you are still not sure, you can go to the users profile and read what trusted members of the forum are saying about him/her.

Reading feedback on online sportsbooks on other sites can be confusing. But not here.

and then my laptop turned off because of the extreme heat around. I didn't risk to play the slot right after turning on my laptop again, because from playing slots my computer is getting hotter. But I definitely will be back during some cooler times.
Lol. You can't be serious. How could you laptop actually turn off because of playing an online slots game? Doesn't make any sense unless it's a very old laptop.

Haha, firstly, you are not far from the truth, my laptop isn't exactly a new one. I bought a second hand laptop 3 years ago. But playing slots wasn't the main reason it turned off, it was the extreme heat around.

As of Money Cart 2, what an amazing game it is! It's like buying BUY FEATURE in Money Trian 2, only paying not 10 EURO, but 10 cents for that. Smiley

3277  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🦊 Betnomi.com | Sportsbook & Casino 🎲⚽ on: July 05, 2022, 11:40:44 AM
I don't play slots on Betnomi, so can't say about that, but their Poker section, man, it's amazing. Each day lots of various tournaments to suit all tastes: from $0.34 Buy-in up to $940! Also, there are literally dozens of free rolls each day(I just counted 32 for today). Most of them are limited to only 100 participants, so you have to be quick when registration opens.  Wink
They run poker tournament in the past and it was supported by community. They did actually like it and nobody can refuse that Poker games given by Betnomi are bad. Will it come back after the Betnomi team finish their works to upgrade the platform.

Recently I see Betnomi are trying to upgrade their platforms from UI to games. They started earlier when the bear market were not clearly confirmed like now.

I'm sorry, what were you trying to say? Was it a typo or misspelling? Or were you really trying to say that poker games were bad on Betnomi?

I mean, I can see many hundreds of unique players on Betnomi each day. Sometimes it's over one thousand. If they weren't satisfied with their experience, wouldn't play on the site, right?

BPS?, when?.

I am not sure we will see BPS in the same format ever again! I believe the ground is set for some similar tournaments, if Betnomi decide to work on it I guess they can come up with some good ideas about poker tournaments!
~

I'm waiting for new Bitcointalk Poker Series too. We have 3 two-time winners(I mean in all BPS on different platforms), but no one won it 3 times, and now I'm rigorously practicing to improve my chances. Smiley
3278  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Watford Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: July 05, 2022, 10:58:44 AM

You are absolutely right saying that none of us, even small bettors, is sheltered from big wins. You mentioned 30,000x, but there are higher max multipliers on some slots. Money Train 2's max win is 50,000x, for example. Less than a year ago, user DATBOY won with amazing 31,640x multiplier playing MT2 on Stake:

Even with the minimum bet, $0.10, the won amount would be huge.

You're right, I am one of the users who have hit the 50,000x multiplier in this game or 500x in the buy feature I hit it on the 2nd buy feature with Bankroll less than $100

50,000x? How much you paid for the Buy Feature, $10? And with $0.10 base bet you won $5k in the end?

I played around 2:00 am local time after I hit that big win I couldn't sleep  Cheesy indeed it's not my biggest wins but that's my highest multiplier record
It would be normal if the multiplier was 5000x because I had got it more than 10 times.

Of course you couldn't! Who would be able to sleep after a win like that? Smiley And you are saying it wasn't your biggest win? OMG, what was your biggest then?

~ If the chance is once every 31 thousand times, then you could hit it 3 times in 100k tries.

No, mate, c'mon, it doesn't work like that, OK? If you win that big, just run. Smiley Withdraw and buy something good for yourself or your loved ones.
