"Users who have some experience with Javascript coding will see a lot of similarities with Solidity"
You can see a lot of similarities between a Duck and a Chicken but that does not mean they are the same thing.

What does that have to do with the price of tea in China? The word javascript does not even appear in that article. Visual Studio IS NOT Javascript

It may or may not rise as fast as everyone wants it to rise, but all technical & fundamental indicators are pointing to a significant rise... soon or later.
I can bet you that most (if not all) investors wish they invested more in Lisk (me included), given that everyone's share shrunk as more investors joined the ICO.
I will certainly have BTC waiting on the exchanges on April 11 to pick cheap Lisk before it starts the Rally.
I bought a pretty decent chunk during the ICO but still way less than 1%. I'll be putting up 10 BTC or so in buy orders when it launches.

LISK raised about the same amount of BTC as Ethereum, didn't it?

Lisk could very well make a historic move to $10 after about a month. Anything is possible. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) How Lisk would do that in one month while Crypti didnt do that in more than year? sometimes it's all about timing. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FbrASe7w.png&t=663&c=haKrc5bIg7CTEQ) This man is Herbert Gilbert, he invented the E-cigarette which all the Vapeing equipment now is based off of in 1963. Nobody used it for 50 years. Just recently in the past few years vaping has become a multi billion dollar industry. all about timing and sometimes a little Luck

Hi guys , how much cost 1 lisK now?
I think around 0.18 BTC 1 BTC = aprox. 5500 Lisk
|
|
|
You all act like you are rich already, dont you think if so many want to buy LISK so bad, many of them would just participated with the ICO?

IMO Slack is a much easier way to communicate and share files with the community.
Slack and lisk.chat looks the same to me. Slack is more useful when you're following multiple slack channels. While RocketChat+ does support that feature too, lisk is the only altcoin that uses it. Maybe its just me, but i have been trying to register to the Lisk.Chat and havent received an email for confirmation maybe check your spam box?

I noticed lot of chatter on TrollBoxes today about Voxelus (VOX) VOX started trading today on Bittrex at $0.60 with 210,000,000 Coins ! After doing some research, it was easy to see that VOX doesn't have 1/10th the tech, the potential or the marketing of Lisk: VOX Thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1235683.0Based on that, LISK should start trading at least $2 to $3 on April 11 given more limited supply of 100,000,000 Coins 2 - 3 $, it should be a minimum starting ...
the first month at least 8 - 11 $
the first half of the year 25 - 55 $I think that in first month around $10 this will be the average price ... but at some point it would be and more ... but generally the potential is very, very good ... !!! and I will not udevlёn if the price will be more than we expect it ... ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Great expectations lead to great disappointments. let stay real - 10$ untill end of this year ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) let's all agree to trade in the $10-$20 range first day.

I have created a Lisk channel on Slack if anyone wants to join
Why have the DEVS not done this? Because they already have their own: chat.lisk.io -tb- Doesnt matter, slack is part of how this go communication wise. Especially in the crypto scene. They should atleast have their own slack channel why because you think so? F slack, this chat is just fine.

why do you think it should be lisks responsibility to verify the security of DAPPs
That's not what I was implying. Yet you fail to answer. If you're hesitant, go away.
Right. That's the way to answer prospective adopters. Oh maybe it is THAT time of the month again ? The time of the month when retarded people come in here thinking that people will plead for you to stay because you ask questions that have been answered a million times already? GTFO tard or do some more research. cannabanana, anyone using this forum or lisk's chat knows that you are quite closely associated with lisk, that you have a depth of knowledge, and that you do spend time coordinating and informing. that is very good. however, your periodic abusiveness is souring your work. you're letting yourself and the lisk community down. if you're impatient with people who ask the same questions again and again just don't reply to them. the abuse is unnecessary. I don't work with them. I'm just a regular person like you. My opinions DO NOT reflect the objectives or opinions from the Official Lisk Team. Don't take it personal. It's just my personality. I'm not a Political Correctness guy. Hope you understand, there's no actual hate, it's more like aggressive fud aversion.

access denied, when i turn on forging... umm what did i just do? /facepalm
Did you put your passphrase between "" , like : "forging": { "secret" : ["YourDelegatePassphrase"] <- Replace with your delegate passphrase } um im just in the web wallet and when i click on the turn on forging it says access denied Gotta replace "YourDelegatePassphriae" with your real data. Make sure to put it in quotes. ["wood book blah food"] not like [wood book blah food] then refresh the browser, sometimes that helps. what? no... i go here https://login.lisk.io/forging and click forge on in top right and it tells me access denied restart your server, restart the website and log back in. If your real key is not in the config file it wont let you forge, even if it is a tiny bit wrong it wont forge.

I think lisk could eventually beat Litecoins all time high of $50. Edit: took a look at vox. actually, not bad if it can work. But it's basically a game. Instead of developing a game and putting bitcoin as the payment method, they just created their own coin.

What is everyone doing to bring new people into the ecosystem? We can certainly dream of these massive $1 buys, but what are we specifically doing to attract new people? I'm doing my small part through social media and 3 friends ready to buy that weren't part of the ICO. Encouraging them to share links to their friends as well.
$1 is floor for the potential of Lisk at minimum. Hitting $5-$10 will either need Ethereum to rocket, or Lisk to develop useful apps. and there is 6 million to do further marketing ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Which is great, I'm just not a fan of leaving success in the hands of another. The marketing efforts from LiskHQ will be critical, but it's just as important for supporters to get out there and continue to spread the word. Look, I love self congratulatory threads as much as the next one, but I think there's a lot of value of reaching out to new people before the launch. I think that crypti failed to grab a big market share because they ran out of funds to do the marketing aspect of it which is also very important. Lisk is finding a lot of good support from that aspect be it good timing or whatever you want to use as the reason. I'm sure lisk will do well, there are a crapload of devs talking about their lisk dapp ideas in the chat and official forums.

Thanks for your constructive answer. But we won't change it all the time, it doesn't matter if a delegate account costs 1$ or 70ct. Okay fair enough for delegate accounts. What worries me more is the fees per transaction. 0.1 LISK of amount sent for a spend transaction
Did you mean 0.1% of LISK amount or is it 0.1 Lisk per transaction. Security of dapps are still a vague topic, yes. Fair enough I can understand that. I guess this must be high on your priority list right? oh is cannabanana a member of your team or can I just mute him right away ? Thanks maybe if you were not a dick and attacked me first with that time of the month answer, I might have given you some actual help. Do you need someone to make decisions for you? Here I'll help, Click Ignore retard.
