About the accusations:
For the record: We are trying to answer all the questions. But there is a user on the forum with the name efialtis, who is using alt accounts (account "lauda" for example). trying to ruin cleobet as much as possible.
And the worst thing is that he was doing this already before he spoke with us. In the reputations talk there are already topics opened from people who are accusing this user lauda (efialtis).
If you suspect a system is fraud, I think it is normal to talk with a representative of it, and trying to get answers from them. Not just post its scam and try to red flag it.
The way you responded to the accusations is a bigger red flag than if the accusations were true.

I suggest you find someone that knows how to behave professionally to represent your casino or just walk away now - there are plenty of other options for players who don't want to have to deal with someone like you.

That's basically a demo version where you can try out the game Smiley .

If that's so, then it defeats the purpose of members here asking SatSquares for those free bits Cheesy

Messed around with the demo for a minute, gotta say it's refreshing to see something new and creative.  How long have you been working on it?

"We want to say to these companies that you don't know when or how we'll strike. We want to eliminate predictability."

It's Time To Track The FDA's Death Toll

The FDA continued forcing the nation's most innovative firms to submit to its command-and-control approach notwithstanding the pandemic.

South Korean is in a far better situation dealing with coronavirus, because its government did not preemptively cripple private testing.

One of the clearest lessons from the current pandemic is that nothing has changed at one of the nation's most powerful regulatory agencies. The FDA is repeating the same mistakes and showing the same arrogance that I chronicled decades ago in articles for the Wall Street Journal, the American Spectator, and other publications.

Dr. David Kessler, who became FDA commissioner in 1990, quickly sought to intimidate the companies that his agency regulates. A laudatory Washington Post article concluded, "What he cannot accomplish with ordinary regulation, Kessler hopes to accomplish with fear."

Kenneth Feather of the FDA's drug advertising surveillance branch boasted:

"We want to say to these companies that you don't know when or how we'll strike. We want to eliminate predictability."

Cool

That blog makes it seem like Kessler was still running the FDA till the second to last sentence (I doubt most ZH regulars ever make it that far): "The FDA’s current commissioner, Stephen Hahn, conceded last week: “There are always opportunities to learn from situations like this one.”

In reality, Kessler was replaced almost 25 years ago and there have been 11 different FDA commissioners since then.  Just more zerohedge clickbait.

Fear mongering. 70K dead in 3 months ok.
But what is the age mean of those people???
What were their health states BEFORE contacting Covid-19???
Did they die directly from Covid-19 or did they die from their other sicknesses and were simply Covid-19 positive???
Who actually checks and verifies these numbers???

Yes people die that's shit, but hey could we please have the numbers for every war, for every influenza pandemic and for every one dying of hunger EVERYDAY?
24K people die EVERY DAY of hunger (UN numbers). 1K die cause of Corona. I believe we would also be scared, but does that justify undermining all our freedoms, freedom of press, freedom of speech, freedom of movement, open discussion, fact revision, etc. etc? We never did that, people still died, since when do we care?
Just stay thoughtful and switch on your highest senses... STAY WOKE and QUESTION. Do your own research outside of your comfortable model of explanation.

Do you need directions on how to use google?

Bruno did say it was taking him a couple of days to verbally dictate his replies then transcribe them with his left hand.  Hopefully he's just resting up over the week-end and will be back with us on Monday/Tuesday>

Bruno, I'd be happy to spend an hour or however long over skype typing up whatever you need.  End result would probably be much closer to your style than dictating to google.  I'm sure plenty of other people here would also.  Just ask.  Hope you're not dead.

3271  Economy / Scam Accusations / Cryptoslots.com provably fair games are not provably fair. on: April 05, 2020, 05:14:39 AM
Disclaimer: I'm not accusing them of rigging games, stealing money or anything like that.  From what I can tell their reputation is pretty decent and they've been around for a very long time.  They also claim to be fixing things so that they are provably fair.  If they immediately remove their false claims (which would be an easy fix), or make their claims not false, I think it would be reasonable to remove negative feedback.

Cryptoslots.com claims "All games at CryptoSlots.com are Provably Fair", but they're not.  When I explained why they were not provably fair, they agreed with me and said they're happy with "natural payback" of their games, they are very trusted, they would never cheat anyone, yadda yadda yadda.  It's been a week since I brought it to their attention.

Profile Link: Cryptoslots Casino
My explanation
Their response

How their provably fair system is flawed:

Video Poker
https://www.cryptoslots.com/en/provably-fair/video-poker

They 'shuffle' the deck behind the scenes and then use a player seed of 1-52 to 'cut' the deck.
While the player seed does affect the outcome of the game, it doesn't prove that the game is fair.  No more than 10 cards out of 52 will ever be used so, for example, if they wanted to make it impossible for a player to get a royal flush, all they have to do is check and see if T, J, Q, K, A of the same suit are all within 10 cards and if so, re shuffle or simply swap out one of them with another card before each hand.

Slot Machines
https://www.cryptoslots.com/en/provably-fair/slot-machines

There's no RTP posted, so there really isn't much to prove.  What they do prove is that each spin the player will have at least a 1 in 9 chance of not losing their entire bet.
They randomly generate 9 different slot outcomes behind the scenes and make sure that at least one of them is a winner (they don't define 'winner'). The player chooses a number from 1-9 to determine which outcome they get.  Afterwards they can see there was at least a 1 in 9 chance of 'winning' something.

Like video poker, they could easily be manipulating the 9 possible outcomes before each spin and it would be impossible to verify.

It really won't look good if you continue to list your games as provably fair when they're not.

Why not just remove the claims from your site while you work on developing a system that's actually provably fair?

Cause why do that when you can just SAY your games are provable fair and then get users to beleive you because no one actually checks anything and they just blindly trust the fact that when they see provably fair, they assume that the company is not scum enough to lie about it.      /s if ya needed it.

This is VERY VERY scum, just implement a real system of probvavly fair or people are going to be left with a bad taste in their mouth when they find out this is a lie. Literally all you're getting out of this is short term gain for long term loss of your entire business. Be smart about this.

Hi TwichySeal and Squatz1,

First of all I would like to note that we are not trying to conduct any scam. We have been operating online casinos since 1998 which proves that we put maximum emphasis on trust and reputation. When we implemented the current Provably fair system of our games, we wanted to maintain the complexity of slot machines but also we tried to make the Provably fair system understandable to the majority of players. From my position I can confirm, that our players enjoy "playing" with the client seed settings and checking the results. Therefore we succeeded in being understandable, presenting this system to regular online casino visitors but with the trade offs you point out.

You are right, that the video poker provably fair mechanism could be exploited by an unfair operator and we are already planning on making changes that will prevent that (client seed will be used during the deck shuffling). Nevertheless I would like to assure you that we are happy with the natural payback of our video games, we would be crazy to cheat our customers.

We are also planning on creating a page that will show actual payback of our slot machines as this info will be useful to our players.

3272  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [SERIOUS] What do people think of direct cash payments (US stimulus package)? on: April 04, 2020, 09:49:00 AM
This is slightly off-topic, however, I am concerned about the amount of UI benefits and how this will affect employers who need to stay open, and our country's ability to continue to produce and transport supplies and other necessities. When you are not working, you no longer have expenses such as gas (for driving to work), dry cleaning, eating out for lunch (if your employer does not pay for this), and other expenses related to working. It would probably be more appropriate to limit UI benefits to something closer to 80 or 85% of earnings. If the economic shutdown lasts long enough, eventually those that remain working will get fed up with effectively working for free.

I agree and it's actually worse than you might think.  Assuming I understand how it works (I might be wrong, haven't read the actual bill), if your unemployment claim is approved you'll receive whatever you'd normally receive from your state plus an additional $600/month.  It will also be very easy to get approved - 'I have a sore throat' is a perfectly acceptable reason to not work a couple weeks and if you don't have any paid sick leave, you qualify for unemployment.

In other words, if you're making close to minimum wage, you have the chance to earn more money by not going to work.

They also expanded it towards self employed/gig workers.  So if you're an uber driver, or anyone that isn't employed by someone else that can show they had income over the past 12-18 months, you can claim unemployment and generate income by keeping any other income off the books.

(Unrelated to the payment: I keep thinking that this would be a really bad time for some other black swan event, like an attack by Russia on a NATO member or something like that. It could happen, though.)
Yeah that's terrifying.  Right now America is more vulnerable than ever - could be a golden opportunity for any country that would benefit greatly from any American failure.

911 is looking like not that big of a deal right now.

Any natural catastrophe over the next few weeks would also be magnified by a lot.

3273  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [SERIOUS] What do people think of direct cash payments (US stimulus package)? on: April 04, 2020, 02:32:19 AM
So people who already worked 3 months this year will not owe taxes on that income?

Some won't.  Probably millions of people won't.

It depends on a lot of factors.

Great then. Thanks for validating my point that it will help some, but not all people, and is not an invention of my imagination.

You're welcome.  And you're right - it's a fucked up situation.  Hundreds of thousands will die (hopefully not millions) and the global economy will be set back years (hopefully not decades).

There's nothing anyone can do to make things as good as they were just a few weeks ago.  And anyone that tells you they know exactly what to do now is full of shit.  There is no option that doesn't come with a huge risk.   It sucks.

We have been operating online casinos since 1998 which proves that we put maximum emphasis on trust and reputation.

So you're going to damage that reputation by claiming your games are provably fair even though you know they're not.  Pretty silly decision.
3276  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 2020 Democrats on: April 04, 2020, 12:51:54 AM
It's funny how a lot of Democrats are feeling buyer's remorse with Biden now, and are longing for someone else. On PredictIt's "Who will be President?" right now, the odds are:
 - Trump 50%
 - Biden 40%
 - Cuomo 6%
 - Sanders 4%
 - Pence 3%

That 40% Biden number is pretty shocking, since he's the presumptive Democratic nominee. I wonder if the DNC will actually change the rules at this point in order to pick someone else. It's a wild idea, though they can do it.

<>

Keep in mind those numbers are from a market, not a sports book.  A lot of trades are based on what you think other people will predict rather than what you think will actually happen.
A sportsbook tries to price their odds such that approximately equal bets are placed on each side of a bet. A betting market is exactly that, except the spread is much smaller for a market.
When you place a bet with a sports bet, you're betting on the outcome of an event.

On predict it, you could do that.  But you could also bet on where you think the market will be tomorrow, or next week, or next month.  It can be +EV to buy shares of a candidate that you believe has basically no chance of winning, if you know an article or interview or press conference is about to happen that will make other people want to buy shares.  My only point was that I think that's what's happening with Cuomo.

(You could always hedge your sports book bet, which is the same idea, but you would have to bet on every other outcome rather than simply sell your share - it could get very expensive over a presidential campaign)
3277  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [SERIOUS] What do people think of direct cash payments (US stimulus package)? on: April 03, 2020, 09:07:07 PM
Suspending income tax on unemployment benefits sounds like a good idea.

But suspending all income tax would mean giving the bottom 50% of the country 3% of the benefits.

The motivation behind the stimulus package is to help people that were already cutting it close with their rent/mortgage payments so that once the this whole thing is over they'll be able to get back to work immediately.  Waiting till next April when they file their taxes won't help much.

Handing out free money sounds like a good idea... until hyperinflation and socialism become the norm, no one gets paid, and your pets become meals.

It's a shit situation for sure.

Shutting down all non-essential businesses and telling people they can't leave their home without helping people who were living month to month till we figure out the global pandemic sounds great... until millions of people lose their homes and go bankrupt and the economy collapses.

Telling people to keep going to work and allowing all businesses to remain open during a global pandemic sounds great... until the economy collapses, millions of people die and millions of others lose their homes and go bankrupt.
3278  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [SERIOUS] What do people think of direct cash payments (US stimulus package)? on: April 03, 2020, 08:44:20 PM
Dumb. Suspend income taxes indefinitely.
The people who didn't lose any income would receive the most assistance.
The people who lost their jobs would receive none.

Do you understand the motivation for the stimulus package?

People are being taxed, that means they are losing income. People who just now lost their jobs will still owe taxes later on what they already earned. Individuals and businesses operating without income tax would be a HUGE economic incentive for EVERYONE to keep working and create more jobs. Do you not understand simple concepts of economics?

Suspending income tax on unemployment benefits sounds like a good idea.

But suspending all income tax would mean giving the bottom 50% of the country 3% of the benefits.

And Capitalism!  At the same time!
Just the bad parts of Capitalism.

Do you have some examples of Capitalism that is being pushed due to this crisis?

I think the reason it got so much support from republicans is because they think it could prevent the economy from collapsing from the bottom, which would take much longer to recover from.

In other words, the socialist bill could result in a much stronger economy a couple years from now, which means we have more 'room' for more capitalism sooner.

Of course, we don't know for sure the economy would collapse without the bill, or that it won't with it.  But - the fact it got so much support from Republicans really says something (I don't think they're all secret socialists - but if you do that would completely negate everything I just said)
