tell him how your experience with me has been and your honest opinion about me becoming an exclusive US re-seller

 Not cool, bro.
3262  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: I can't help but wonder... on: June 24, 2013, 07:56:41 PM
I can't help but wonder if the people at Ankar aren't sitting scratching their heads wondering why the sales or 10 port powered USB hubs has risen recently,  Roll Eyes

Heh, they've emailed me a couple times now asking for reviews after purchasing eight of them in a single order.

"Thanks again for your recent purchase of our Anker product. I’m following up with you one last time to see how it’s been working out. Have you had a chance to use it yet? Do you have any questions or comments regarding the product?

Every Anker product comes with an 18-month warranty. Though we don’t anticipate any problems, please contact us if you do run into any issues. If you're not 100% satisfied with the product and/or service you've received, I would be very grateful if you could let us know by replying to this email and giving us a chance to make things right first.

Moreover, please feel free to post an informative, unbiased product review or upload a video to YouTube (if you are so inclined), so that others may benefit from your experience. Your feedback is invaluable to us as we work hard to serve you and continually improve our customers' experience."

It will be one glorious day once the CGMiner team gets the USB 3 hot-plug issues resolved !

Congrats on your milestone BKK ! Keep up the great work !

It is pure logic, isn't it ?

I guess haters are gonna hate indeed if he did a portscan. Ugh Sad Welcome to the Bitcointalk forums Sad The Mos Eisley cantina of the Bitcoin world...
3265  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Block Erupter USB Sales [New Sales Policy with New Price] on: June 24, 2013, 06:59:45 PM
Does anyone know when these will ship out?

History shows it's reasonable to assume that after you make a payment to the ASICMiner team, you should receive something on your doorstep within 3-5 days.
3266  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] labcoin ASIC project - v.1 @180nm - v.2 @65nm - European / Chinese Team on: June 24, 2013, 06:57:53 PM
EDIT : Haters gonna hate.

Ugh. I might recommend not making posts like this Sad It won't go well with this community if you want to be taken seriously at this point Sad
3267  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] labcoin ASIC project - v.1 @180nm - v.2 @65nm - European / Chinese Team on: June 24, 2013, 06:55:58 PM
another fraudulent venture.

To their credit, they are not accepting pre-orders or soliciting any funds. How do you figure this is a fraudulent venture when no-one here has been defrauded ? Yet.

You are justified in being wary, but throwing around the word "fraud" at this point is not appropriate.
3268  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Block Erupter USB Sales [New Sales Policy with New Price] on: June 24, 2013, 04:22:57 PM
what is the order email address for US customers. I don't see it in the first post.

I believe the order email address for batches of 50 or more is asicminer.usb@gmail.com

That is the email address I used in past communication for ASICMiner USB purchases.
3269  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Block Erupter USB Sales [New Sales Policy with New Price] on: June 24, 2013, 06:09:39 AM
I fail to see how future prices have any effect on your opinion of a product that you previously purchased after thoroughly researching it.

Future price has zero effect on my opinion of a product. I'm just grumbling a bit is all. Sorry. Tempted to get another 50 of these to add to my farm Tongue

EDIT: And thanks for your anecdotes as a reseller. Appreciate your perspective.
3270  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Block Erupter USB Sales [New Sales Policy with New Price] on: June 24, 2013, 05:44:06 AM
I don't understand all these people who complain about them "overpriced" and "robbery".

Being "overpriced" or "robbery" doesn't enter the equation really. We all bought at the initial price for our own reasons. It's the point of a 50% price drop in such a short time that is disconcerting and hurts a little bit in the gluteus maximus area  Undecided

Even for those of us that made 50 stick purchases @ 1.99, it would be nice to be able to have the option to purchase another 50 @ 0.89 instead of 0.99 (although I'm really more excited to see what happens with the new blades).

3271  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: KNC Miner - Jupiter device: which PSU are you guys planning on using? on: June 24, 2013, 05:36:56 AM
The originally advertised 250GH/s for 7-8k USD and ended up promising 350GH/s for under 7k.  We are currently awaiting final GH/s estimates (they are hinting that it will end up higher than 350GH/s for the Jupiter unit) and their Power consumption looks to be below initial expectations as well.
They by all outward appearances appear to be the best bet in the Asic for Pre-Order market at the moment.

Thanks for the update. I was skeptical of KNC myself and it's good to see there is community support for them.

I'll be watching with great interest in Sept/Oct. It would be amazing if they pull this 28nm product off in that timeframe. Not an easy task to accomplish at all. Wishing them Godspeed with this project.
3272  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] labcoin ASIC project - v.1 @180nm - v.2 @65nm - European / Chinese Team on: June 24, 2013, 03:07:07 AM
From our initial post :

Derp ! Thanks for the clarification. Good luck !
3273  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] labcoin ASIC project - v.1 @180nm - v.2 @65nm - European / Chinese Team on: June 24, 2013, 02:26:55 AM
As I said earlier, we are not sure if we will sell devices

I missed this. If you are here to create hype for your products, why discuss this project here at all if you are not offering it for sale ?

Am I missing something ?

I can certainly appreciate that you are trying to create a new SHA256 ASIC, but not sure of your intentions with posting this thread now.
3274  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Block Erupter USB Sales [New Sales Policy with New Price] on: June 24, 2013, 01:46:14 AM
Dude the price drop is ridiculous.  ... And these price drops of 50% or more are stupid.

Yeah, at least on the AM Blades it was 75BTC down to 50BTC. I agree this price drop of 50% is a bit difficult to stomach Sad
3275  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Block Erupter USB Sales [New Sales Policy with New Price] on: June 24, 2013, 01:34:04 AM
Seems not fair  Huh

First round AM hardware always carries a premium. Trust me. Still stinging from purchasing 50 for myself @ 99.5 BTC knowing I can now get the same number for half that price today but C'est la vie.
3276  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Two motherboards? on: June 23, 2013, 07:40:01 PM
Is it possible to hook up a set of two motherboards so I can run more GPUs?
"Linking" the motherboards?  Or will I have to run a big 8-slot MOBO rather than two 4-slots?

Why would you rather have two mobo's linked together instead of having two separate systems ? I  might suggesting looking into PCIE backplanes instead for what I reckon you are trying to accomplish.
3277  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Ann] US based Avalon ASIC chips and assembly: 3,197 remaining on: June 23, 2013, 07:26:18 PM
Did not see an email come through for my batch 5 order Sad Looking forward to making payment for assembly service !

Thanks for the updates steamboat !
3278  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Block Erupter USB Sales [New Sales Policy with New Price] on: June 23, 2013, 07:12:24 PM
Very nice ! Can't wait for the new blades to become available !
3279  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Has anyone ordered from http://btcminingrig.com? on: June 23, 2013, 06:14:28 PM
It just seems like too good of a deal and they actually have asic's in stock to ship. Should I invest in one or is it a scam?

How did you come across this out of curiosity.

It is evidently a fraudulent site that is ripping off images from BFL's product lineup. Would not recommend investing with this site.
3280  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] labcoin ASIC project - v.1 @180nm - v.2 @65nm - European / Chinese Team on: June 23, 2013, 07:20:46 AM
Very interesting. Looking forward to following this project's development.
