3261  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next stop $85K for Bitcoin on: October 06, 2021, 10:54:19 PM
In my opinion, Bitcoin price is bearish at the moment due to the slow retracement seen a few days ago and is likely to continue in the next few weeks. Therefore, I expect BTC to set higher lows over the next few weeks and look set to move higher later this year where the price will hit $70k.
Not a real bearish but its more on a sideways to me, we can only enter to bearish trend once we broke the strong support level at $40k, let’s not hope for this. Bitcoin have to be more stable on its current price before aiming to pump again, $85k is more likely to happen next year.
Maybe you have a point too. Moreover, the price of bitcoin is now back up significantly and the price has broken through the $54k level again. If this strengthening trend continues through the end of the year, it is very likely that the bitcoin price will hit a new ATH early next year or pump up to $100k.
The price had stabilized somewhat in 54-55k which it didnt really push through on 60k resistance which means we cant really tell on breaking its ATH on this year or would on the next.

It is really just good to hear off about 85k next target but i wont really be seeing that this would really be just a smooth sailing but rather a very wavy path to take.

Expect that there would be some huge sell off or orders on that previous ATH considering into those people who had entered on the peak.

How can you say that we hae stabilized around this price? The price has been somewhat moving in the last couple of days and I doubt that it will simply stop at $54k-$55k. So I'm positive that the bullish sentiments will still continue to go this month breaking grounds again on the next whole number target, $60k.

And then after that next month will be huge, as Taproot will go live and then just maybe we have some good news that will cause FOMO and reach a new all time high, $85k-$100k might be in the horizon.
3262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: An Emerging NFT Project? on: October 06, 2021, 10:20:46 PM
And what are Reddit and Twitter user are saying about this project?

Just like what the guys are saying, this is hype so just be careful putting your hard earn money on it. Maybe people are just shilling for it, so in any case, it's better to do your own research and due diligence.

And our number one rule is that you shouldn't ask for investment advise here because we are not expert. And even those who claim to be? I doubt that, so don't blindly trust anyone giving you advise you, so DYOR.
3263  Economy / Speculation / Re: October Bitcoin bull month. on: October 06, 2021, 01:54:23 PM
No doubt that october deserves to be called a bull month, interesting fact happened when i bought about $200 btc at a price of $50800 but after 2 hours the bitcoin price reached $54k, if i sell bitcoin now then i have profit 7%, this is the biggest profit record ever I never got it but I'm sure tomorrow the price of bitcoin can reach $ 60k.

Hell yeah, just check the price, it's not $54k, so the biggest barrier of $50k-$52k has been broken already and I think we can sustain this run leading to $60k. And then it will reignite the vision or at least the prediction that we are heading to $100k at the end of the year.

Earlier it went down to $50k, but a huge surge right now, haven't check the reason, but in any case, bullish sentiments are prevailing. So let's see how it will go this December, I'm exciting to see another all time high.
3264  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Reymart Gaballo (WBC bantamweight) on: October 06, 2021, 12:46:15 PM
that 24 wins in all his fight and 20 of them are Knockouts are proof that this man is a Monster inside the ring .
Well he is really something. I watched his previous fights and I can say that he is more like Inoue, fast, agressive and know where to hit his opponent. However he is not well known and those opponents he managed to defeat are also not popular the reason why he is not recognize yet. But if ever he defeat Donaire on their upcoming fight, it might be the start for him to be on the spotlight so lets see whats going to happen.

Right, this kid has some serious power and good body shot too, although I would say the talent is still very raw (although the videos I have said is 2 years old), so a lot of improvement. But this one is really going to test him against a experience Donaire. So it is going to be very close fight, don't count out this kid, he could be the next big fighter coming from the Philippines. If he can pull an upset, he will have a bright future and who knows, he could challenge Inoue or Casimero too as he will have the full belt if he win.
3265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: October 06, 2021, 11:45:36 AM
Well done, its always satisfying to start winning again and clawing back lost Satoshi's.

I have started my Indian Wells betting on the womens side with Anisimova to beat Scott
and Rogers to beat Kalinina.

I'll make a start with the mens side on tomorrows matches when the qualifiers are over.

Ballsy to say the least for those guys,  Grin. Anyhow, that's gambling for us, including tennis more risk bigger rewards.

I'm just looking at the Indian Wells, there's already some name names, as far as the match.

Delbonis vs Nishioka and Fokina vs Johnson.

But there are still qualifying matches, maybe I could also pick up some wins and few satoshis.
3266  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will $50,000 be the resistant price? on: October 06, 2021, 10:09:55 AM
Bitcoin price returned above $51,000 for the first time in three weeks, indicating strong demand from short-term buyers. The next level of resistance is seen at $50,000, where some profit taking occurred in early October. We see technical indicators show improving upside momentum on the daily chart, The intermediate-term uptrend is stabilizing, albeit within a range of $48,000 support and $50,000 resistance. However, those who can take this risk can get advantage from the market.

It's too early to say if we are going up above the resistance level of $50k, it seems that after reaching as high as $51k, it went back down again to $50,700. So yes, there is a resistance right now and maybe people are selling at $50k and taking some profits.

So it might goes sideways against for some time, and there's no assurance that we can maintain this $50k. Hopefully though, we can maintain above it for this week. There's some kind of FOMO needed again to push it back up to $52k.
3267  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant on: October 05, 2021, 08:12:59 PM
If Caleb though is really that durable and tough, this might go to distance.

If not the fight could end in < 10 rounds, with Canelo winning either by KO/TKO. So still this fight is hard to predict, although Canelo is the favorite, we are looking for the rounds wherein he can win. And even though Caleb hasn't lost before and seems to be one of the best fighters that Canelo will face in his last 3 fights. he might last a decent rounds before Canelo can finished him.
3268  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ]: Fury vs Wilder III - THE TRILOGY IS BACK ON !!! on: October 05, 2021, 12:48:28 PM
This fight is just a quick cash grab for those two, this is definitely going to be in favor of Fury, it's unlikely that Wilder will be able to do anything, not to mention that at his best, he was only able to do a draw.

Obviously!
Wilder is just pure trash. Their first match up didn't end up with a convincing result, If not with the last round knock down Fury could've win it as he clearly outboxed Wilder.
Then the 2nd match was clearly all Fury from the start.
Now, this trilogy doesn't seem necessary. Wilder had a lot of excuses to end up for this 3rd match.
Well, I hope Fury will send him to sleep this time.

It was all for the money, I agree, but people wanted a third fight because on how Wilder are the lost and his excuses.

So it was necessary for Fury to really finished it with a big knockout win so that there will be no doubt and question as to who is the best heavyweight of this generation. And maybe after Fury wins this fight, go for the other belts, currently hold by Usyk and maybe retire, leaving us with his legacy.
3269  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: October 05, 2021, 11:09:06 AM
https://talksport.com/sport/tennis/956469/emma-raducanu-news-tim-henman-indian-wells-coach/

After reading this article its clear that Raducanu doesnt actually have a full time
coach in place for Indian Wells, does anyone else find that bizzare?

Parting ways with your coach who helps you win the U.S Open bringing you to a
#1 UK ranking and not have someone to take his place.

Yes it seems pretty weird to fire a coach that helped you to win one of the major titles in tennis bascially completely out of nowhere, but you never know what was the reason for that decision. Maybe they just didn't get on well anymore, or one of the two just completely lost grounding and is behaving like a superstar now...no one knows. I also think it is not that big of a deal to be without a coach for a tournament or even longer. As far as i know Nick kyrgios had no trainer for years now and it works pretty will for him and i don't think that he would perform better if he would have a coach on his side. I also think that experienced players like Djokovic or Nadal would not need a trainer at all.

Nick though is a different case, I mean is he coachable to begin with?  Grin

For Raducanu's case, maybe it was not really a coach by decision, it was just someone who accompany here in the US Open and now looking for a full time coach to help here to move in the next direction of career. Hopefully, she can pick up a good and experience coach, as he has the potential, very young, still teachable and can learn a lot through proper coaching and experience playing against the best.
3270  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Future on: October 05, 2021, 09:10:19 AM
I feel they simply don't like all of this and are intimidated by the future, do you think so likewise ?
No. I just think they don't have a wide-enough spectrum to see what's coming. I notice people nowadays barely even want to read more about the things they hear and rather wait to evolve together with the technology. I think that to see these as being "the future" requires you to be at least a little bit visionary and to be interested in what comes next rather than what we have at the present moment.

Or maybe didn't look at the past, to see what might be for us in the future. Right now, only the billionaires can afford traveling in space, but who knows, maybe in the next 50 years it will be available to everyone.

As far as bitcoin replacing banks though, not sure if this can happen or if the banking institutions would allow bitcoin or any other crypto to take over.
3271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Terence Crawford vs Shawn Porter - Nov. 20 on: October 04, 2021, 11:40:15 PM
@TravelMug. Shawn Porter can certainly do again what he did similar to the fight versus Errol Spence and bring this to a split decision, however, I reckon the winner will still be Crawford and with a unanimous decision. Over 10.5 rounds is 1.48 on Nitrogensports hehe. That might only be the safest and most attractive bet for this fight.

I agree to you that's the bet seems safe and sure but in my own preference, I will never risks a decent amount for that odds. You need to bet at least a good amount to feel the profit. A $100 bet will just return roughly a $50 winning which I don't find worth a risk. Crawford and Porter are both inside fighters. A possible knockout does have a chance. They are not the type of boxers who will mostly used defense that's why I think it will end up in TKO.

It's good and safe odds I supposed, but I agree that you need to put a decent money to be able to win some. Let's wait for handicap or even if the fight goes to distance or not. For sure it will give us better odds and good to risk at least $100 for this fight. But I still believed that Crawford can outsmart a rugged Porter in this fight. Errol Spence has laid down the blue print on how to beat Porter, I'm seeing Crawford using the same game plan as well.
3272  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: October 04, 2021, 01:25:13 PM
Nunn's excessive dribbling at times could become a serious problem during the regular season. He's got the skills but he needs to work more on his floor management. Meanwhile, it's nice to see Aldridge still got that mid-range jumper. He won't be able to play a lot but that J could be very helpful every time he's called.
Don't worry about Nunn, what we see in the preseason might be different in the regular season, the starters did not play and Nunn is not a starter. He has his style, and he is actually good back in Miami, so hopefully, he is 100% now and will bring a big contribution to the success of the Lakers team.
Right, nothing has change on Nunn's style of playing, as coach Vogel said, it was just a test and he will rotate more player entering the regular season. So nothing to be taken seriously in this game, the second stringers did have some time on this game though and it was good for them.

Aldridge by the way does not lose his skills, but his stamina, let's see.
I do agree, but still early, for sure he did a lot of trainings as well to keep his up to par specially with his stamina.
3273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: October 04, 2021, 12:05:43 PM
In the San Diego Open, Ruud winner in two sets, he just destroys Norrie, 6-2, 6-0, cover the handicap and even the under if you think that Ruud will win in two sets. Still good to see Norrie played very well in this tournament except the finals, maybe he was too drain in the Rublev match.

That was a surprise for me. Of course Ruud has been great this year, but still, I expected it would be a bit closer than this, even if Ruud was likely to be the winner. I don't think fatigue will play a part as men are used to playing best of 5 set matches in slams, so 3 setters should be no problem.

Ruud is also playing very well this year agree, but with how he dismantle Norrie who is riding on a big win against Rublev is really amazing.

Maybe is more of a psychological thing for Norrie, 6-0 in the second set? We never thought that he can be beaten by that score in the finals. I guess Ruud elevated his game on the second set and Norrie can't catch up.
3274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ]: Fury vs Wilder III - THE TRILOGY IS BACK ON !!! on: October 04, 2021, 11:14:18 AM
Let's look at the current odds ML at sportsbet.

Fury at 1.29, Wilder at 3.25 - Good and very attractive odds for Wilder, specially for those who love to go with the underdog.

Now, looking at the handicap per rounds, Over 7.5 - 1.82, Under 7.5 1.96. Might be tempted to bet on the over here.

And as for the "fight will go to the distance" - Yes 2.85, No 1.37.
The only chance Wilder has is by knockout that would be better odds then 3.25? I think the fight might go the distance this time Fury took Wilder by surprise last time because he came out very aggressive but Wilder will have been coached by his coaches to avoid that pressure and he should be better at managing the aggression of Fury if he can avoid the Fury the 1st 3 rounds I think Fury will then go back to boxing instead of going for the knockout and that is when Wilder can land that power shot again. I think Fury will be too much for Wilder again and Wilder probably has not learned enough in the year since the last fight but if the odds for a Wilder knock out are over 4.00 then I think it is worth putting a bet on he will always have a chance because of his power and he has already knocked Fury down who was close to missing the count in their 1st fight.

Please take note that Wilder has a new coach as well, so preparedness and training and strategy will be different against Fury in the trilogy. So maybe we can Wilder just taking it easy on the first couple of rounds and try to just weathered the storm early. So there's a big possibility that it could extend to 12 rounds but still Fury by split or unanimous decision. Unless Wilder can score points by slipping some of his power punches in the championship rounds.
3275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: October 02, 2021, 10:06:14 AM
Westbrook addition is already huge, another player who pushes the ball and for sure the Lakers are going to run this season eventhough some of them are already in thir mid 30's.

Russell Westbrook is seen as still being athletic at his age. The early '30s is not a veteran to consider but just not playing already on their 100% prime. I don't know what kind of training Westbrook is underdoing but he's becoming stronger and still a high leaper even past his prime. If Lebron will be injured or sidelined, the Lakers are still in good hands but of course no one wants that to happen as we like to see all are healthy throughout the season.

And I think that's what the Lakers is doing this year. Last year was the worst, No Bron and AD, but we thought that someone can still step up, unfortunately no one did. That's why they got so many players that can carry the team even without them (hopefully they won't get injured). Westbrook is one of them, even at Washington he can still leaped and give us that dunks that posterised many players during his prime. Even winning games that are very close against high caliber team, so I expect the same Westbrook or even more.

And the best part of Westbrook is, he didn't act as the main scorer for the Washington Wizards. He just try to adopt the system there and let Bradley Beal do the work on his usual. Westbrook also making lots of triple-double even without an intention of stat-padding as he can't just command his teammates to help him do that as he's new there compare to OKC where most are helping him to do triple-double.

In Lakers, changing and adjusting to other systems will not be difficult for him as he already paired with superstars right from the start of his career.

Right, Lebron emphasized that as well during their media workout. There are still critics who says that it won't work. But James reply is that it was also said when he went to Miami, that him and DWade plays the same position. But they won championships so for him, it's a perfect scenario again. He had AD before producing a ring, now with Westbrook? it won't be difficult as WB can adjust in any situation that call for. And one thing we notice during last year is that there are no impact players in the Lakers, yes they have Caruso and Kuzma to some extend. But they didn't produce energy. Just imagin Westbrook running the floor for the Lakers, that explosiveness in transition.
3276  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Robbery on: October 02, 2021, 09:16:06 AM
And this kind of attacks might increase as obviously the price of bitcoin is going up. So if you are a bagholder, yes you can protect it as much as you want with proper security hygiene. But if you exposed yourself to criminals then physical attacks are inevitable. So the right practice will be not to tell in your social accounts that you have bitcoin or crypto. So it's not hackers are we should avoid, but real life criminals as well.
3277  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lopez vs Kambosos - October 5 on: October 02, 2021, 08:30:13 AM

No, it cannot be postponed again, the fight was first announced last January this year, so we waited many months to finally see this fight. If one of them gets infected with covid-19, I think the council has to penalize them because it's already big negligence of not protecting the money invested in this fight.

One thing is for sure - this fight will not be happening next week. I also don't think there is enough time to do it on the 16th. They only have two weeks remaining and tickets aren't even on sale. We will probably see Matchroom take over as promoter and hopefully nothing else goes wrong.

That will really be horrendous if the fight are going to rescheduled at a later date. The last time I check, those who bought that tickets before the initial date has been refunded. So not sure if the new date has open up the ticket sale or not. Regardless, Triller is to blame for all what's happening in this fight, if someone snatch it from them like Matchroom or Top Rank, then it will be too bad as they have shell out huge money in promotion, and even for the reservations of the venue.
3278  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: October 01, 2021, 12:44:13 PM
I think Donaire will retire right after he can fight Casimero, but if that does not happen sooner then I think Donaire will step down as a professional boxer like Manny Pacquaio did. Given the age Donaire he's the most likely retiring few years from now after Manny Pacquaio.

But let's look forward to this all Filipino fight showdown soon after this mandatory fights that the WBO ordered.
What??? I don't think that will be the case or worst is "they won't fight at all". His retirement has been a talk even way back 2015 I guess but doesn't happen yet and I guess the one that making the noise is when he makes a rematch with Inoue and if that happens by the next year then I'm expecting that year will be his retirement year too.
Donaire would only retire if he loses against Inoue in a rematch, the fight between Casimero is unlikely to happen as these two does not agree to fight anymore, they are just chasing their opportunity to fight Inoue, hence they should win their mandatory fight in order for that to happen.

We can't say that Casimero vs inoue will not happen. This scenario is still open, if they win against their mandatory, they could set it up again in the future.

One thing this boxers are specially Donaire, already in the twilight of his career, is to go for more lucrative fights before he retire. So Donaire vs Casimero or Donaire vs Inoue can be the biggest potential fight in this weight class.
3279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: October 01, 2021, 11:55:21 AM
I didnt bet on the Ivashka v Monfils match, too close for me to call. I lost on De Minaur
when he lost to Giron.

Todays quarter finals matches with bets I have are Millman, Monfils and Sinner.

Sinners match I think could be a tough match against Duckworth who has had a
decent run in a few tournaments this year.

It looks like all seeded players will come through the next round.

Millman vs Giron - This might go to a extended 3rd set. Or I wouldn't be surprised if Giron again pull a big upset here.

And all the match could really extend to 3rd set, too close for some matches including Sinner vs Duckworth. Monfils is not sure as well, Mager is also a tough player and will give Monfils a hard time and earn every point to go to semis.
3280  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price of an iPhone in Bitcoin at their launch over the years. on: October 01, 2021, 10:58:25 AM
2,857 BTC for iPhone 4. I wonder if someone actually bought using BTC.

Iphone 4 was released in June 2010, so I doubt that someone has bought it using BTC.

Not investing on phones that normally gets obsolete after a year. Thats a good lesson to learn, I'd stay with Samsung that lasted for more than two years now. I wasted $43K since I bought iPhone 7 when it was released and then got broken for approving some IOS updates. Worse is that non can repair it.

As long as you can make a call or SMS, smart phones are still of used.

However, comparing Iphone and buying it with BTC is not applicable in my opinion. I would say that be smart, used our money very well, personally the last time I have an Iphone was like 7 years ago and I never bother to buy one again. Might be better to invest my money on others that will give a good returns.
