^^
https://cloudteh.com/

3283  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Plagiarism and Paraphrasing, different sins of equal magnitude? on: June 13, 2021, 09:55:48 PM
imo, there is no difference between plagiarism and paraphrasing. In both cases you are trying to steal someone else's effort and pass it as yours. It's more about stealing the idea than the words.
Paraphrasing is considered more offending especially when automated tools are being used. It only proves that the offender is already aware that what he is doing is wrong and he is doing it to avoid being caught.
3284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should i believe a person who said"my trust wallet get hacked" ? on: June 13, 2021, 09:02:14 PM
If you use a reputable and secure wallet app then no one can access your wallet and steal your coins unless he has the seed/private keys or the file wallet needed to recover it.
I've read many articles (mostly on reddit) from trust wallet's users complaining about their coins being stolen but in most of those cases it appears it's the user's fault. They either enter their credentials on phishing websites or save the wallet backup files non encrypted on online storage where hackers can easily get access to it.
Don't believe everything you read on the Internet. Trust wallet is one of the most reliable wallets just make sure you have a backup of the seed saved in a safe place and always update the app to the latest version.
3285  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: who is the wallet issuer on: June 13, 2021, 07:37:05 PM
Due to bitcoin being pseudonymous and the astronomical number of addresses that can be generated, there is no easy way to link an address or wallet to its issuer.
Some tools like the one you provided and WalletExplorer use multiple techniques to determine the owner of a wallet or to flag addresses belonging to the same wallet.
For example if two addresses have been used as inputs in the same transaction then there is a high chance they belong to the same wallet.
Identifying wallets belonging to exchanges and similar services is a bit easier due to the way they work. They consolidate inputs regularly, move coins from hot wallets to cold wallets (some of them are already known), use batch payments..
But if a user is careful enough and leaves no traces behind him, it's almost impossible to which addresses he uses.
3286  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Newbie Question: Where do I find my wallet address?? on: June 13, 2021, 05:19:45 PM
If using this method, all he has to do is click on the little tab next to "Request" which says "Address", and Electrum will strip all the extraneous formatting and just provide the address for copying.
My bad. I don't know how I missed it maybe because Electrum opened the "request" tab by default for me (it opens the tab you used the last time).
However, I still prefer this method and letting Electrum choose an address for you over picking one manually from the Addresses list as this guarantees you will get an unused one. A new user might pick an already used address which is not recommended for privacy reasons (unless he knows about the "filter" feature and knows how to use it)
Also, by using the receive tab, Electrum will take care of generating a new set of addresses each time you reach the gap limit.
3287  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Newbie Question: Where do I find my wallet address?? on: June 13, 2021, 03:18:51 PM
Electrum GUI can be confusing for new users specially the "receive" tab.
After you create your wallet and back up its seed (12 words), do what o_e_l_e_o suggested or:
1- go to the "Receive" tab
2- click the "New a=Address" button

A new receiving address will show up. Don't click the copy button as it will copy the whole URI and all you need is the address. Instead double click on the address and make sure only the part between ":" and "?" is selected. Now just copy it to the clipboard (Ctrl+C).

When you paste it on bitcoin.com or anywhere else double check it to be sure it's the same address and hasn't been altered.
3288  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino on: June 12, 2021, 11:43:41 PM
Your address is linked to a gambling platform or gambling transaction should not be a problem if gambling is not illegal in your country. It shouldn't be a big issue as we have to be responsible enough to gamble and there's nothing to hide. Save from transaction fee, that's the concern of majority of the gamblers.
Please re-read my reply again! My concern is not about my address being linked to gambling. My concern is about it being linked to other gamblers addresses.
When a service makes a batch transaction it processes all withdrawal requests in one transaction. This is not something you want to happen if you value your privacy and it doesn't matter if you are using your main wallet or not. Having nothing to hide doesn't mean you should give up your privacy.
3289  Economy / Reputation / Re: Provably Fair Question on: June 12, 2021, 10:38:56 PM
In general and to avoid suspicion, the casino should give you the hash of the server seed before you enter your seed (client seed) as there is no valid reason preventing them from doing this.
If they don't then it's a red flag but doesn't necessarily mean they can cheat or manipulate the results in their favor. It depends on many other factors such as how their provably fair system works, how the game results are generated and the game it self.
In Dice games, for example, the casino doesn't know which multiplier you will choose and whether you are going to choose roll over or roll under. So even if they can determine the game result there is no guarantee it's going to be in their favor. The server seed hash must be visible before the game round begins, though
3290  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: My Bitcoin Balance not showing - 2021 on: June 12, 2021, 09:25:27 PM
OP is facing the problem only when he tries to buy or sell bitcoins but every thing else is working fine (deposit/withdraw) so the problem might be related to blockchain.com exchange. May be he is accessing their service from a restricted country!
I agree with hosseinimr93, if the problem was due to enabling the IP restriction feature then he wouldn't be able to access his account in first place.
@OP, the best thing to do right now is to withdraw your coins to an external wallet or at least make sure you have a back up of your wallet's seed just in case.
If you are connecting through a VPN try to deactivate it and see if that solves the problem. Otherwise, only their customer support can help you but don't expect to receive a quick reply from them, assuming you will ever receive one!
3291  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: ELECTRUM USERS/ANYONE w/ any KNOWHOW/electrum transaction not going through on: June 12, 2021, 07:42:22 PM
When you make a payment with bitcoin, in most cases your transaction will have two outputs. The first output is the address you want to send the payment to and the other output is your change address.

If you want to make sure every thing is correct before you broadcast the transaction then click on "advanced, double check that the receive address (in green) and the amount are correct then you can safely sign and broadcast the transaction. You don't have to worry about the change address (in yellow) because Electrum generates it automatically and calculates the change amount you should get back.
If still in doubt and want to make sure the change address is indeed belongs to your wallet, click the "addresses" button and scroll down and you will see it's listed there.
3292  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Combine multiple OLD wallets? on: June 12, 2021, 04:42:52 PM
It'll need to rescan each and every wallet as you do this, so that could take a while if the wallets haven't been used in a while. You could also potentially use the -wallet commandline option to specify them all at once on startup.
If you import multiple wallet files will bitcoin core rescan the chain one time and update all wallets balances simultaneously or will it do a one-at-the time rescan for each wallet? If it's the former than it will save him a lot of time rather than importing his wallets one by one.
Also, will it be ok if you import hundreds of wallets and each of them has thousands of transactions, will bitcoin core be able to handle it? Am asking this because many other wallet apps wouldn't. Electrum, for example crashes when you import into it a wallet which has a long history of transactions!

What about dumping all his wallets addresses and then importing them in batches into a watch-only wallet. Wouldn't this be a better solution?
3293  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What prevents someone from "giving" themselves more Bitcoin? on: June 11, 2021, 11:57:30 PM
The reason why you can't change the number of bitcoins you own by changing some numbers or editing a code in your device is because they are not really stored in your wallet.
Bitcoin transaction are saved on a public ledger (aka blockchain) and each node connected to the bitcoin network has a copy of that ledger.
So if you try to spend an amount that you don't own, other nodes will reject it because it's an invalid transaction according to their own copies of the blockchain.

Besides, each block is connected to the other blocks through cryptography (hence the name; blockchain). If you make any change to a transaction you'll have to re-construct the whole chain from the genesis block.
3294  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google has lifted its ban on crypto advertisements on: June 11, 2021, 10:36:43 PM
People were in a really big danger before Google banned these advertisements. Because swindlers were trying to trick people and steal their money. Google has lifted the ban and there are new rules right now. Thanks to these rules, there will be a safer environment from now on.
Are you serious!! Just take a look at the "Scam Accusation" board and see how many topics have been created about google scam ads and you'll realize that the ban didn't change any thing. In fact, it made things worse. However, lifting the ban may slow down scammers as legit services are definitely going to pay higher rates per impression/click and it will be hard for scammers to compete with them.
Though, I don't think this news will have a major effect on the market as there aren't many exchanges and wallets that can meet the requirements they set.
3295  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino on: June 11, 2021, 09:14:42 PM
During my time in the Bustadice campaign I got to know (and love Wink ) the "Slow Withdraw" at Bustadice. Instead of an instant withdraw, you could choose a withdraw that could last up to 24 hours. Bustadice collected all withdrawals and transferred them in one batch, which made the fees much cheaper (5-10x cheaper).

Maybe such a system would also make sense at Roobet, as a user you only have the problem of having to wait a little longer for your valuable coins.

You are right. Batching transactions can reduce transaction fees dramatically and, from a technical point of view, I don't think it's that hard to implement such system. But what about users privacy!! I' am sure most users don't want their addresses to be linked with other gamblers addresses and mostly don't want anyone to know how much they withdrew just to save few bucks.
If you can't/won't deal with bitcoin network high fees then just use Litecoin.
3296  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC tx outputs. I am trying to understand on: June 11, 2021, 07:51:11 PM
...
Exactly! Bitcoin uses the UTXOs model. Each transaction consists of Inputs and Outputs and an Inputs is basically the output of a previous transaction.
The balance of an address is the sum of all its UTXOs (unspent transaction outputs) or simply the outputs it received from previous transactions but didn't spent them yet.
Now, if you want to create a transaction, you will use as much as needed of UTXOs to cover the spent amount and network fees. However you should know that an unspent transaction output has to be spent in full. So, if the value of the used inputs is bigger than the amount you want to spend (plus fees), the difference will be sent to one of your wallet addresses as an extra output.
Almost all bitcoin wallets do this automatically, though.
3297  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Serious bug binance I have balance but I can't use it (bnb token) on: June 10, 2021, 10:43:13 PM
@OP, do you get the same error when you use Binance app? What about when you try to withdraw all your BNB tokens, do you get 2.4 or only 0.01bnb?
Not sure but it looks like the famous "Insufficient balance" bug which was supposed to be fixed a long time ago!
That bug is temporary and you should be able to exchange your tokens by now. If the problem persists, try to open an order and cancel it before it gets filled and see if it solves the problem.
If nothing works, you'll have to contact the customer support to look into it.
3298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What did I buy? on: June 10, 2021, 08:37:17 PM
I'm positive this was an ICO I just can't remember which one.... can anyone shed some light?
I have a feeling it was Tron ICO.
It wasn't Tron, it was Faceter ICO.
I'm pretty much sure it was Faceter because:
Firstly, They conducted their pre-sale in February 2018 wich coincides with the date on which you made the transaction: Feb-09-2018
Secondly, Faceter price during the pre-sale was 0.0000872 eth and you sent 0.2799 eth. 0.2799/0.0000872=3209 which is almost the same number of FACE tokens you have on your address.

Quote
Faceter is worthless now, I bought about $100 worth during the ICO which is now worth cents
Sorry for that. I was just answering your question regarding which token you bought.
3299  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: my btc transaction got stuck and i need withdrawal my btc urgently its emergency on: June 09, 2021, 11:38:43 PM
The feerate suggested by mempool space for a high priority transaction has dropped from ~40 sat/vb to ~25 sat/vb just in the last hour and the number of unconfirmed transactions is decreasing. I would just wait if I were you.
Since the transaction can't be replaced and you don't own the receiving address' private key, there isn't much you can do from your end other than using a paid transaction accelerator (viabtc) or contacting the exchange's customer support and see if they are willing to help.
