3281  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does Bitcoin protects people from ?? on: July 10, 2018, 11:10:09 AM
Gold and silver are hedge against inflation/price rise and they protect people's wealth during wars, natural disasters such as Earthquakes, hurricanes, cyclones, economic crisis, 9/11 terrorists attack etc.. so gold and silver are a store of value.

Stock markets are indicators of sales in the economy. When there is sales for the company as per study, they are profits and share price rise. if there is loss, the share price falls.

As a commodity, what does Bitcoin price show or protects people from ??   Grin
For me, bitcoin protects from hackers and scammers  because nowadays scammers and hackers are prone in the philippines and bitcoin users wants to avoid scammers and bitcoin protects people from having a interest from banks because users of bitcoin do not have interest and the money that they earn is only for them not sharing from banks.
3282  Economy / Economics / Re: Facebook now joining btc? on: July 09, 2018, 10:03:02 PM
Is this a good time for Facebook to try new kinds of stuff. Facebook owner Mark Zuckerberg has become the world's third richest man in the world and he has achieved all that just because of technology and a right idea, So do you guys think he will now at least think about experimenting to take bitcoin as a payment method in facebook. I think that will surely change a lot of people's mind around the world and they can freely put some money on facebook business.

This will be a good idea if the owner of facebook will put another method to pay and that is through bitcoin. In messenger, we know that we have paymaya, gcash etc. but I think it is better if we have bitcoin as a form of payment. Much better than the two.

3284  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if Government bans Bitcoins? on: July 05, 2018, 11:59:07 PM
Looking at the decentralized nature of crypto-currencies,Wonder if govt bans Bitcoins in future??Is it possible let's say by blocking all sites which relate to Bitcoin wallets/payments etc over the internet. In that case what would happen to our existing coins held in those wallets??

At first government can't do something about bitcoin but as soon as they will find out that some people who use bitcoin harms the citizen if their country, that will be the time that they will make a move about the issue. May sure your money is not in one wallet only. It takes time to banned bitcoin so be aware if the news.
3285  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Practical is Bitcoin As Payment Service? on: July 05, 2018, 11:33:08 PM
i am new here and i came to ask fellow users about how practical bitcoin as payment method is? i paid for domain on namecheap via bitpay and it was okishh experience. I mean how much i can use bitcoin to pay online for shopping, services and goods?

Practical for me is being efficient. There are some stores here in our country that accepts bitcoin as a payment. Bitcoin as a payment method is really practical because it is through online and it will give you faster and safer transactions if you will compare to other payment methods.
3286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: First scam :) on: July 05, 2018, 11:21:57 PM
Some time ago I decided to participate in bounty programs. Started with airdrops, twitter and telegram campaigns and later took a look at signature campaigns in bitcointalk.
Created account, reached Jr.Member level and full of optimism applied for the first signature bounty without deep enough researches about the project. Even absence of info about team didn't stop me. How stupid I was.... The ICO turned out to be scam and no desirable tokens received of course Smiley

Do not be so stupid as me, read about project, take a look at the team, read whitepaper and check some ratings. It can save you from wasting you time for 4-8 weeks....

By the way.. how many scam ICOs have you participated?

The next time you join bounty programs, make sure you did read everything about the project. Don't join just to earn without noticing if some part of the campaigns goes wrong.Sometimes we will not notice that the campaign but the best effective way is to read their whitepaper and join their telegram to be updated ofcourse.
3287  Economy / Speculation / Re: Be patient or take a risk for money??? on: July 04, 2018, 03:33:43 PM
Hey guys, there is a time that it comes to my mind that what should i do, wait for a long time or we can say hold for now or take a risk and grab the opportunity to have a money in your hands???
What do you think guys??

As you observe, the value of bitcoin increases at the end of the year. I suggest that you should be patient enough to risk your money in bitcoin. Trust that bitcoin value would increase this year. And all you taking risks/sacrifices would be worth it.
3288  Economy / Economics / Re: How bitcoin can help for working abroad specially OFW on: July 04, 2018, 06:59:29 AM
Bitcoin/Coins.ph are so many way to make our life easier specially for OFW.
*They can use it to remit a money for their family in Philippines in a very convenient.
*Bitcoin is also way to earn extra money by using earning some satoshi or faucet.
Please share more on how bitcoin can help.

Bitcoin would be a great help to our OFW because it can be an alternative source of income. So, they do not need to waste their lifetime working abroad because they can work for bitcoin and that would be great because you can have your family time while working in bitcoin and that is the advantage of working in bitcoin than being ofw.
3289  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: When the price drops Do not panic, It will only make things worse on: July 03, 2018, 05:05:35 PM
If you panic and sell your bitcoin, it will only make the market worse and the bitcoin price will go down. So when bitcoin prices are down don't panic and don't go sell your bitcoin. Although it does not have much impact on bitcoin, at least if you do not panic and do not sell Bitcoin, the price will not continue to drop. What do you think ?

That's right but the real things is we do not really have great impact when it comes to market compare to the whales who invests too much money for bitcoin. If we compare ourselves to these whales, they can manipulate the market better than us. They affect the market if they sell their bitcoin and vice versa.
3290  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you have another job besides being a Bounty Hunter? on: June 27, 2018, 11:12:38 PM
I understand that being a bounty Hunter can make money and improve the family economy, but do you have other jobs? because if I just rely on money from Bounty I think it will not be enough.

I agree with you that income from bounties is not enough to supply all your needs. Sometimes you should find a regular job as your main source of income and consider joining bounties as an alternative source. As of now, I do not have any other alternative jobs aside from bitcoin because I am just a student and my studies is my number 1 priority.
3291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you interested in cryptocurrency? on: June 27, 2018, 04:52:54 PM
Personally, I started to be interested in crypto currency because of its idea and technology, but now I'm more trying to make money with the help of it.
So, why are you interested in cryptocurrency?
I think it's the good topic for discussion!

I am interested in cryptocurrency because it is connected with the term technology which I like to study so it caught my attention.Another thing is cryptocurrencies have a lot of opportunities to every individuals as well as it gives you a large amount of income depends upon on how hardworking you are. Lastly, I am interested in crypticurrency because I believe that it will make a change in our world.
3292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why you should take bounty campaign seriously on: June 27, 2018, 04:35:01 PM
This discussion is not to generalize the idea of taking bounty serious by everyone but for those that need to.

I see lots of people who say I can't do only bounty campaign as a full term work, of course no one should do that if you have lots of other alternatives, but if you don't, it will do well to utilize the available time and make as much profit as you can make from bounty campaign doing it as it is your only employed job until you can even raise cash to start your own business, because some of the organizations we even aim to work don't even pay you like bounty campaign and other times we get employed to do similar works just like what you do while running bounty campaign.

Feel free to share your opinion too

Bounty campaigns are some of the jobs that I considered a good source of income. But I keep in mind that not all the time I will have an income from bounty so I should have an alternative though I consider bounty campaigns as alternative source of income. Everyone should really take it seriously because the quality of your post determine how many tokens you will get.
3293  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: HOW TO protect yourself from Scammers on: June 26, 2018, 05:42:31 AM
These are some of the reasons on how you can protect yourself from scammers but the very way on how to protect yourself from the scammers is to don't entertain them. If you entertain them, the chance that they will repeat scamming to others is 100%. Be wise when you are talking to strangers.
3294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People move out from cryptocurrency! on: June 26, 2018, 05:24:57 AM
I have heard from many people that there are many people to leave the cryptocurrency.

Is that right?
If  yes then what are the reason behind on it?
If no then why people spreading that kind of news regarding cryptocurrency?

Yes it is possible that there are some people who quit on using cryptocurrency. Some reasons are the beginners who take the risk but they loss in the beginning of their journey on crypto. They got a trauma about it so they have decided to leave instead of taking risks again. And also, the successful person that became successful because of bitcoin. They had enough and they are now contented with what they have so they leave and enjoy their earnings.

3297  Other / Off-topic / Re: Backup is important on: June 21, 2018, 03:53:23 PM
Good day, just want to share my experience,
I am using 2fa as my security in my emails and exchange accounts, so one day I nearly lost my phone and that phone holds majority of my pins, 2fa, etc. so I thought I lost all, luckily I found the phone. So now I'm thinking of buying an extra phone for backup. What else do you recommend for backup?

I recommend you to write all those private information to a piece of paper and then keep it into a safe place. You can also use a hardware wallet for high security. And also you should not place your pins or any other infos to one electronic device only.
3298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I will never join AirDrop programs any more on: June 21, 2018, 11:25:16 AM
I have already joined hundreds of airdrops but I got nothing until now. I will never join AirDrop programs any more.
- Each airdrop rewards only some token, that its value from $5 to $20 (calculated by the ICO price)
- Most of the token are dead now (just spammed projects or shit coins)
- Some tokens have been listed on Coinmarketcap now but the token price is terrible low. The value even equal to the transaction fee if I send the tokens to exchanges.

Joining airdrops requires too much of your time. It gives you small amount of coins for free if you meet their requirements. You need to have a lot of patience in order to get something from it. i suggest that instead of joining airdrops, why not join bounty campaigns? It does not take too much of your time. it is much better than airdrop because it may give you large amount of money than what airdrop can give.
3299  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if someone forgot the key to their bitcoin wallet ? on: June 21, 2018, 10:55:37 AM
What are the measures to keep your private key safe and in memory ? Are there any alternatives to retrieve the key back ?

Make sure you have a hard copy of your private keys and keep it in a safe place. Most of the stolen or forgotten private keys doesn't have a chance of getting it back. You can also use a hardware wallet. You are the one who is responsible for your money so keep it and don't share your private infos. Prevention is better than losing.
3300  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Need advice for bitcoin wallet.. on: June 21, 2018, 08:38:24 AM
I am newcomer and very interested about bitcoin. I need a wallet before I am purchase some bitcoin. What is the best and most secure bitcoin wallet?

Your suggestion is very important to me

Well for me, the wallet that I only use in bitcoin is the coins.ph wallet. It is an app and downloadable in play store. It is secured because you can upgrade your wallet to high security by enabling the two factor authenticator which is very easy to enable.
