3281  Economy / Economics / Re: The phrase to describe Bitcoin on: September 06, 2017, 10:23:35 PM
If will describe bitcoin in a phrase, I'll say "Bitcoin is a life changer". Bitcoin gives many advantages to us because it makes our transacations faster than before and even a student like me can now earn money (I really hope soon) even I'm still
In this phrase is how I explain Bitcoin in all senses.

"Bitcoin is the most free and pure form of a crowd-economy, free from the oppression of governments."
If I will describe bitcoin in a phrase, I'll say a " A Life Changer" . Bitcoin gives many advantages to us because it makes our life easier; it brings us faster transactions than before and even a student like me who are not yet able to find a source of income can earn money now Smiley (I hope very soon).

3282  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you explain Bitcoin or crypto to complete newcomer on: September 06, 2017, 11:24:53 AM
So I've been involved in Bitcoin and crypto for about 5 months now and just about everyone I tell about it being friends and family most have never heard of it or the few that have they have no understanding of it so I was just curious into how others explain it all to total newcomers is their a webpage or video you may show for an easy understanding to explain it all ? Whenever I give my explanation it seems to go way over their head  Roll Eyes Cheers
I will say "Bitcoin is like a fiat money that we normally used, but the difference is, it only exist in the Web". That's a single sentence but I am confident that the newcomer will easily comprehend and able to formulate new ideas in his/her mind. I know that's not enough to jusytify the meaning of btc so I advice him to do his reasearch and ask someone familiar with bitcoins to understand more. Smiley
3283  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to win Bitcoins with Signature Campaigns ??? on: September 06, 2017, 01:39:35 AM
first you're not gonna win bitcoin, it's not a promo or a game. Signature campaign is a job so what is a signature campaign?

A signature campaign is often organized by an individual, group or company who want to promote a certain coin, platform or service or in other words they're are a company who have a new project and hiring people like me, like you, like us to spread their name or the project by putting it in your profile and ofcourse they're going to give you a minimum amount of posts to post in order to receive the payment for example a signature campaign requires you to post 20 posts within the week you're going to meet that requirements to received the bitcoins.

so here's the procedure.

1. You need atleast jr. member and your posts need to be constructive and knowledgable.
2. Go to services and find an open signature campaign that accepts jr. member.
3. Follow the rules on how to apply.
4. Wait for you to accept, wait for them to reply on the post if you're accpeted or not and usually they have spreadsheet there where you can see the participants.
5. Meet all the posts requirements.
6. Received the payment which is the bitcoin.

Thank you for your answer, it enlightens me more. now I know how signature campaigns work, this will definetely help me when I get able to join signature campaigns. Smiley

How their payment will go to my coin wallet? Is it automatically or still undergo some processes? Smiley

3284  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin has enemy (except altcoin) what is it? on: September 05, 2017, 10:30:45 AM
Bitcoins worst nightmare would be a crashdown of internet and power.
I agree with you Smiley the biggest enemy of bitcoins and also altcoins is the loss of Internet connection because Internet is the main medium of bitcoin. Bitcoins are used for online transactions, you also save your btc in digital wallets that needs internet to access, mining sites and all sitea where you can earn btc also run with the use of Internet. So if ever one day Internet will vanish (I think that's impossible because we are in Information Age) , the Bitcoins will gone also.
3285  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Almost All Cryptocurrency have fallen on: September 04, 2017, 10:34:01 PM
This is a normal trend i believe.. Weekends always result in this drop.. yet i believe today everything is going back to normal.

I really hope everything is gonna be alright but to be honest, Chinese government did brings a big impact to cryptocurrency. Sad I'm just starting in this world then suddenly it will crashing down, I hope it won't happen.
3286  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with the people who don't like Bitcoin? on: September 04, 2017, 11:40:26 AM
What would you do when you're talking to someone but then he suddenly talks about his hatred on Bitcoin, what would you react to it?

I've never actually experienced anything like this before, I just want to be prepared when it happened to me.
I know someone who does'nt like to engage in the world of bitcoin.

When I was in a reataurant with my girlfriend our conversation suddenly lead to bitcoins after she asked me why I'm late to reply her sometimes. So I apologized to her, I expalined that I visit my account here from time to time and missed to visit my social media account. I said that I'm busy in poating and reading others' posts here, then I finally introduced btc to her ( the advantages of it and all the knowledge I recently acquired ).

Then right after we finish our meal, I encourage her to give a try in entering here since she is good in English and have a stable Internet connection in their home. I expect that she will agree with me but she's not Sad . She said that she don't want then I asked why and she replied " Coz I don't like". I never pleased her to join here because I can see in her face that she don't have any interest in bitcoins.

I realized that if a person doesn't like something, in the end, he/she still unlikes it so don't waste your time to pleased them. Maybe I can encpurage my girlfriend to join if she already see the money in my hands. Smiley

3287  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How this picture makes you feel ? on: September 04, 2017, 03:20:54 AM
for me both frustration (that i have not invested) and amazed from the value today and back then.
i think its neccesarry to check the history and act upon it.

the picture is from january 2017:

Whoahh!! That's a lot of money. Shocked . I wish I can go back in the past and start investing. I regret so much for knowing this very late, but that's okay because I still got the chance to enter here Smiley I hope the value of bitcoins will get higher and higher for me to become rich someday.
3288  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is BTC for you? on: September 04, 2017, 02:53:17 AM
What is bitcoin for you? Is it a chance or a scheme to get rich? Or is it actually to keep your wealth to yourself.
What lead you into bitcoin world and what's keeping you here?

For me, Bitcoins give us the opportunity to change our lives and leads us to a good future. This is one of the easiest way to uplift our social status as long as we have the willingness to do so. Smiley

3290  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is instant way to get rich ? on: September 03, 2017, 11:09:31 PM
There are important factors to consider in becoming rich through bitcoins.

First , you must be patient. Not all us will have a fast growth here, you need first to study a lot about bitcoins and familiariazing all the things that you need for your journey here. If you are not patient enough and seek to earn as soon as you enter here, i think you will lead to misfortune because you have lack of knowledge, like a soldier who enter the war without bullets.

Second, you must be a hardworking person. As much as possible become active in joining signature campaigns, bounty campaigns and all stuffs where you can earn bitcoins. Even though there are smal earnings from that, when those small earnings are accumulated I'm sure that's a lit of money.

Lastly, you need a little luck. Some members here push their luck in gambling because you can earn there very fast and double your earnings in a short period of time but if you don't have luck, that's okay Smiley just be careful to the steps of your plans to avoid mistakes and become a strategic person. Smiley
3291  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: September 03, 2017, 12:13:26 PM
Hi everyone!

I am Niquie, a representative of Coins.ph, ready to help you with your concerns/inquiries/feedbacks regarding Coins and our services. This is going to be the official thread from now on. Some of you might have noticed that I changed my username from NiquieA to Niquie@Coins. NiquieA will no longer be available.

Thank you and looking forward to hearing from you all. Smiley
Thanks po dahil ginawa nyo ang thread na 'to, at least meron na akong mapagtatanungan once na magkaroon ako ng questions regarding my btc.  Smiley

Ask ko lang po, ano po ba talaga ang purpose ng coins.ph ? Pinapasign-up po kasi ako ng kaibigan ko dito, ito daw po magiging wallet ko for my btc. Tama po ba? Please enlighten me Smiley
3292  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are bitcoins only for the educated and knowledgeable people only? on: September 03, 2017, 11:16:11 AM
For me, it isn't. We have different talent and knowledge on how we give and do stuff that we love. Bitcoins are for everyone and we have the chance to try or even have this to earn and save money for our future.

How about you guys? Is it only for the educated and knowledgeable people only?
Definitely No Smiley all of us have the right to use bitcoins Smiley

I know that understanding cryptocurrency is quite hard because it is more complicated than the conventional money that we are using today but if you have the eagerness and willingness to study about bitcoins, I'm sure that you will know it deeper. I was once a person who don't have any idea about bitcoins but with the help of my friend, all the research that I did and by spending time reading in this forum, little by little I understand its purpose and significance.

If a college student like me can understand bitcoins, I'm sure others can! Smiley despite of their age and status in life as long as their willing to learn. I believe that high rank members here once become a beginner, you can use it as your motivation to aim high Smiley .
3293  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin had a stable price, would it still be as popular? on: September 03, 2017, 09:06:26 AM
Do you think if BTC had a stable price which could only be altered by $0.01-0.10 it would still be as popular and as used?
I think yes because the risk of losing values will diminished therefore some investors and businessmen will get more interested and will not be scared to enter it. After knowing bitcoins have a stable value, more and more will engage here because bitcoin has a fast pace of growth also and this is the newest in the field of finance; investors tend to follow the latest trend (which is cryptocurrency) in order to prevent from being left behind. Smiley
3294  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC as a national currency? on: September 03, 2017, 08:08:04 AM
Bitcoin, for now, is not suitable to become a national currency of any country. Bitcoin's value is too volatile so a product or service will always change in price with respect to the price of Bitcoin. Also, a transaction fee is there with every transaction, this is not practical in using in a daily basis. It will be hard for the government to control the scenario. So if a country will make Bitcoin as its national currency then they have to regulate it first.
I don't think everyone will not agree to this idea because there are still many who don't know about bitcoins here in my country. And in my own perspective, using bitcoins as a money for everyday use is not practical. Our transactions to small stores and markets will become slower than the usual. The bank systems will be distracted because of the entry of new currency also. Lastly, not everyone can use btc because it is a digital currency, and not all of us can access to Internet easily.

The bottomline, I still prefer conventional money (but I do not disregard the significance of Bitcoins) Smiley
3295  Economy / Economics / Re: Money above all things, Yes or no ? on: September 03, 2017, 05:55:40 AM
Not totally Smiley but we can't remove the fact that money runs this world.

If you don't have money, you can't buy your necessities and you can't live with much satisfaction compare to those who are plenty. If you don't have money, you're a nobody (sad to say but that's true ) but it doesn't mean that money is the only source of happiness, you can find happiness everywhere (it can be your family, friends, your special someone, peace etc.). Money only runs the world but never ever RULE the world. Smiley

Another thing also, if a person is already rich, he/she still don't have the rights to mock someone because we are all equal to His eyes. He/she must help to uplift others instead of puling them down. Humanity is still important. Smiley

For me, if I am asked to choose between money or doing religious activities, I choose both because you can also do those two at the same time, it's just a matter of balancing. Smiley
3296  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: September 03, 2017, 12:32:59 AM
Hello All,

What you think is the best investment to gain steady income in btc without actively doing anything?
So no trading/gambling/loaning etc.

Steady income more likely to be 'small & secure' than 'big & risky'.

Thanks,
BR Oinas
I think you can join signature or bounty campaigns here then then let your earnings get bigger and bigger. After that, just save it in your coin wallet and wait for a long time because the value of bitcoins are increasing as time goes by. When you are now satisfied to the value of bitcoins at that time then you can withdraw it.

You can do this if you have a stable source of income other than btc. Smiley
3297  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I cash out my BTC now? on: September 02, 2017, 11:49:12 AM
If you had your payment in BTC, would you cash out your money or you would wait increasing of cryptocurrency?
If you have now contentment to the exchange rate of btc to real money then withdraw Smiley

But my advice to you is wait a little more because the value of it will become bigger and bigger as time goes by. Also try to trade your btc into other cryptocurrencies and exchange it again to btc when its exchange rate gets higher Smiley . You can also try to invest some of your bitcoins to still have some earnings. Smiley
3298  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the highest amount of Bitcoin you earned? on: September 02, 2017, 03:06:41 AM
Could you specify your question? Do you mean highest amount of btc, earned from single task, campaign, sell, or whatever?
If I understood your question correctly, I hardly can answer it. Mostly my earnings come from where I have to accumulate earnings and it's continous process.
I mean the accumulated amout of btc you earned before you withdraw (coming from all of the sinature campaigns, bounty campaigns etc. you joined ) Smiley
3299  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is now $5000 on: September 02, 2017, 02:47:52 AM
It's really amazing from $2700 last july after a month it reach $5000. Cheers investors here what a great year for bitcoin

Whoahh!!  Shocked That's nice Smiley This good news motivates me to work and strive harder because that's a lot of money. I'm excited to become a jr. Member for me to be able to join for campaigns. Smiley

I hope the value of bitcoin gets higher and higher Smiley
3300  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.? on: September 01, 2017, 01:11:51 PM
I've just thought about this for a moment but, ithis want bitcoin to get more popularity, attention or acceptance would it be nice to make some advertisement about it on T.V.? I don't know if in other countries they advertise bitcoin but in my country, I haven't seen one. How do you think advertising bitcoin will affect the people? Any thoughts?
That's a cool idea. Smiley Promoting btc through TV advertisements may encourage the people to enter the world of bitcoins. They will get enlightened by these ads and even the cons may change their perspective.
But there's a problem, whose gonna pay for these TV ads.. ? That's the main problem. I hope someone got the guts to give fund for this besides all of us will benefit Smiley
