Is constant bumping considered spamming?
It makes sense that it would be.

TF is doing his best to fix it up sir. ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) Perfect Timing the Bitcoin backend is insecure ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) So I would say this is a failure article. No site can be 100% safe. So yeah let him fix it ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Agreed, security protocols can be put in place, but it's practically impossible to be 100% protected from emerging threats.

I've just written up an in depth setup guide to start up your own Bitcoin Faucet with the MyFaucet script written by TradeFortress. Here's the direct link to the article. http://devthecoder.com/?p=36Let me know what you guys think!

This looks good. As long as you can keep adding more faucets this will be very good.
Yeah regular maintenance is an important feature of sites like this. If you're looking for any members to join the team, let me know! ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif)

I think which signature you have good for you no one interested to buy your signature any more ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) It indeed is useless to try get a better price for your Signature, I think it is amazing we even get something for posts we make, and 50-60 posts is not going to bring you far as much as advertising goes... Same thing for people who think they can make 2000+ Posts a month, it just is not possible, or you are posting random crap, and even then you are 3 hours a day posting on this forum. I remember someone made it once,he did 2000 posts in a month and got paid,i'm pretty sure he was spamming all day It's pretty dumb what people do for a few bucks, sitting at a computer all day spamming a forum is not something I'd be doing ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif)

Ah, okay. As a hosting provider myself, it's pretty sad how easily they crack under pressure and can be Socially Engineered ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif) The cause of the downtime is malicious. There has been no compromise of any database, data, or code - they couldn't have been accessed by the malicious party (and so is other projects like Inputs.io and CL)
After talking with whiskers75, I suspect that the same individual was responsible. It was carried out through social engineering (different) hosting providers.
Sorry for the downtime - I hope to have coinchat back before Monday.
What kind of social engineering? This shouldn't be happening with hosting providers. Namecheap is easy to SE, a forum I used to be apart of got hacked and the hacker SE'd Namecheap into handing them access to the VPS. It wasn't Namecheap that was SE'd in this case. I know I was just giving a example of a hosting provider that got se'd

We have closed Round 3. Thanks for all the people who participated. We are about to do a major backend overhaul and will re open another round after this is completed in about 1 weeks time.
Will the payout still be .004? It will be assessed at the time of Round 4. If for instance the bitcoin price drops to 100 then it will be raised, and if it goes up to 300 it will be dropped. Great, sounds good! ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)
