I think 10000$ is possible in 2020. I think bitcoin will be replaced by some better system for payments, but will stay a valuable asset ... the digital gold  It will never be $10000 in 2020 it will never be that ever especially if it is replaced by a 'better' system. The most we have gone to is $1000 and that was because of a massive pump nothing else, be happy if we get back to $500 imo What you fail to realize is that there is no better system. The big leap was the blockchain, everything else are small things that can be implemented within Bitcoin itself. What you fail to realize is there will be a better system and probably already is, you have not gave anything to show me why it will go above the last 'pump' that is all it was buddy a 'pump'  not great tech not the future of the monetary supply just a plain old PUMP where has this mighty tech gone since then? Wow, such ticker, much pump, hasnt it been enough of pump and dump based on coinbase hype? There might be some pump and dump before a pre auction major dump but i doubt its gonna touch even 255$. Reversal will happen only after that auction, no sane man will go long before it ends. This has nothing to do with a pump ore dump, dont you realize how important this ticker is at CNN? The ETF will only be approved with a top-nutch exchange, pretty cool from the twins that they funded it from there own money. Gemini will go online q1, give it 6 months to 1 year before the ETF will be launched. Pretty sure the price will go up. hey, we're less than 6 weeks away from the end of the first quarter. where do you get your intel? It's not about the coin , it's about the blockchain - stop looking at the "currency" and think about the technology
If you look at the technology, you realize that bitcoin is replaceable by a newer cryptocurrency with better technology. Hence, why the price is slumping - the technology is great, but people can't justify a large market cap for a payment instrument itself that is infinitely replaceable. Lets roll out Bitcoin first ok? Uhm, this guy needs to reinvent the wheel of crypto again, i dont see that happening in the comming 10 years minimum. Bitcoin+Blockchain goes hand in hand, a updated Blockchain= improved (crypto) Bitcoin. You want a new coin due of a price drop? LOL |

Well today I am having doubts.... If Bitcoin were to dwindle and fail, is this what it would look/feel like? I feel this is train is going nowhere, too many people on board and the track and engine just weren't designed well enough...... we are stuck and devs and miners don't want to improve fast enough. If you ask me, the "infrastructure" bulls keep mentioning doesn't sound like a guarantee at all.
I mean, what is this infrastructure anyway? A whole bunch of merchants accepting USD from a payment processor through a bitcoin dump that has the only result to generate more selling pressure out of pure self-promotion?
A bunch of ATMs around the globe with 10% fee among scams or scandals like Robocoin?
ETFs that are taking forever to come out?
Second market investment trust fund that has investors that can't liquidate holding stuck with their bags watching the price go down?
"Regulated exchanges" nobody uses like coinbase with "to the moon" slogans and countdowns that generate pump&dumps like we lately saw?
Bad VC money invested in bitcoin companies that can go puff tomorrow like Neo&Bee and countless others?
Mining companies going bankrupt?
I don't know about all that "infrastructure".

Currently, nothing makes me more optimistic but btc price at 80-120 Yes, I saying, will start buying at 60-80-120. Maybe that's the bottom. With target at 800And will capitulate at 40. With loosing enormous 24-30% Flash crash under price level :120 - is highly possible. minimum price could reach then 0 (cents) per btc. be ready.... I know there is three major factors for bear market currently: +Bitcoin is still very unsafe, that's because of the theoretically possible <51% attack. And worst that nothing can be done to fix this.. +Market are selling bitcoins for about $15kk (:222= 67 264 btc's) every day just to keep system work, that's the electricity bills. +Technically we are still in strong, strong bear trend. Secondary factors: +Banks are negatively disposed in general. (To bitcoins) +Scientifically proven that btc is not anonymous. (Must check, (rumors tells so)) +A large use of btc for illegal operations like purchase of drugs, money laundering etc. (I personaly know a guy who buys drugs in overseas and gets them in envelope by common mail) +Companies like DELL are immediately converting their crypto profits to fiat. +"Who makes profits in btc world? In general : there is some successful traders, infrastructure producers, exchanges, electricity companies. All this makes additional pressure." Others?
