https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=615953.msg60742572#msg60742572

It seems to me that you are getting confused, this is the list of companies that run signature campaigns in the forum, and among them there are gambling houses and others that are not gambling like CM or BC. Among the gambling sites, there are some that are not licensed, and some others that are, such as Playbetr or Betcoin.

The gaming business in the cryptocurrency area will remain in the dark zone for a long time. Until the regulators get fed up and repeat the history of the Tornado.cash.

I don't think it will last long in the current situation. The trend will be towards more government control and more KYC.
I meant only gambling companies from this list

3283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Merge: The most anticipated catastrophe on Ethereum blockchain on: August 20, 2022, 03:26:25 PM

I note that the Ethereum Foundation being in Swiss jurisdiction is meaningless, when the U.S. could throw the whole Ethereum ecosystem into turmoil simply by shutting down ConsenSys.  Whereas Bitcoin does not even have a centralized foundation, let alone any centralized critical infrastructure run by companies amenable to enforcement actions.  Bitcoin’s past experiment with a centralized foundation taught it lessons that Ethereum never learned; and it doesn’t really have any critical centralized infrastructure at all.
The US authorities can destroy any cryptocurrency and the entire ecosystem, but there are also many people in the US who are lobbying for cryptocurrencies. I believe that bitcoin and ethereum are big ecosystem assets that have huge lobbies in the US, and these projects will not have regulatory issues as long as the big bosses need it.

There's something I don't get about the difficulty bomb. does it start increasing difficulty for a period of time until that impossible point, or it's just a moment where it goes up? I think it must be increasing for a period depending on the mining rate, but I haven't found info. I mean, if the merge is going to be at x time, what stops miners to switch off at x-1 and say: ¡Hasta la vista baby!
https://etherscan.io/chart/blocktime
How the difficulty bomb works. The block time increases gradually and grows at each stage. You can see the time of each stage on the graph.
But after the merge, the difficulty bomb will no longer be used, so it's time to forget about it.

Ethereum Name Creation Doubles In Four Months to 2 Million

Thanks so much, I just wanted to understand the parameters and the process. What if HR decreases too much? May that event trigger the merge sooner? It's just I don't see what happens if miners turn off before the merge.
The block time is regulated by the algorithm. With a large arrival of miners or vice versa, their departure, the block time will change, but then it will stabilize.
miners won't leave before the merge starts because it's a loss of profit.

When the price of top coins drops, the pump of other, lesser-known coins begins. Personally, I am afraid to invest in coins like SANTOS when 95% of the trading of this coin is on binance and it is a token on the binance smart chain. It is impossible to predict the price, it can change in any direction.

3291  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic Politics: Rent a House for Free and Earn on: August 19, 2022, 03:29:52 PM
Can we rent a House for Free?
and can we benefit from renting a house?

then the answer is YES

one of the many ways is to share the room for the house that we rent with other people or our friends.

Example :
I am a student and I am looking for a house for rent near my college. I am renting a house with 5 rooms in it. and in a month I have to pay $500USD rent. And of course I only need 1 room for myself. and the remaining 4 rooms. so this is where my job is to find my college friends who need room rent.
and at a university it is quite easy. especially if we have a study group. so here I offer friends to rent a room in the house I live in and I also give the freedom to share using other shared rooms such as the kitchen, living room and living room. so that every friend who rents a room also feels free to live in the house. and because there are only 4 vacant rooms so I'm looking for 4 people only. and I rent out each room for a monthly rate of $150USD. so 4x150=600USD.

Now I don't have to spend money on renting a house. even I get 100USD profit per month.

this is just an example. please share other solutions according to their respective opinions and experiences.

and sorry if anyone has already discussed this. I'm just sharing my experience. And maybe many of us have had the same experience.
I don’t know how it works in your country, but in my country, even in resort areas, houses are not rented out to the company of men or guys in 60% of cases. If the house is rented out to you, the number of tenants and the prohibition of renting out other rooms will be discussed. And you will be responsible for the actions of the rest of the gouging who will live with you in a rented house Smiley

3295  Economy / Economics / Re: China's debt bomb looks ready to explode on: August 18, 2022, 01:10:36 PM
China's problem is that ... the Chinese economy is the most natural and largest bubble in the world economy, in world history! And the funny thing is that the Chinese economy is exactly the same as the crisis of 2009, when the real estate bubble burst! They did the same, only within the local market. And the result was not long in coming. But in the case of the Chinese economy, everything will be even worse - not a segment of the market, but the entire economy will collapse, because. In China, the domestic market is very "fragile" and everything is highly dependent on all internal processes. After the "explosion" of the real estate market, the construction-related market has already begun to crumble (from the production of concrete, building metal to manufacturers of electrical wiring, laminate and household kitchen appliances) ... And these are millions of workers who will soon be left without work, companies will stop paying taxes , and .. and further in a vicious circle. The only thing to say is that this will not happen this year for sure, China still has some inertia.

PS by the way - the United States officially began to withdraw production and technology from China, and transfer it to the United States, to solve 2 problems:
1. Solve internal problems, "burn" tons of money printed, give new jobs and boost the US economy. At the same time, provide their manufacturers with microelectronics (microchips, etc.)
2. Show China its place, and force it to be more accommodating.
Have you ever wondered why large factories from the USA and Europe moved to China?
Anyone who studies economics knows that the production of goods in China is more profitable than in the US and Europe.
Therefore, the US government will have to spend a lot of money to compensate for these losses and train its engineers.

The situation with Taiwan is even more ridiculous for the US. Chips are made in Taiwan for the US military industry, and they are located near China and Russia. It doesn't matter that Russia will locate military production in Cuba.
