Suprnova is up.

Thanks for the source dev btw..
3282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] They're here! TrollTokens POW/POS sha256 hybrid on: April 17, 2016, 05:36:57 PM
Seems I've got to get to work on the sipa seeder.

The coin needs some nodes and a nodelist.

And maybe you want to add the Pools to the OP...
3283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CLINT] CLINTON SHA256 on: April 17, 2016, 05:06:51 PM
Please upload source code to Github.

lol.. I doubt he meant to upload it this way Smiley

Could you guys please stop spamming every thread with ads about your Lisk stuff ?

I'm really not interested and it is very annoying.

Thanks

A this looks fun, I'm in with a pool:

Question real quick, compile ok on ubuntu 14x04 server
But can't run it.
Any fix please ?
Just compile from new source, old one is running fine.

What are you trying to compile the Wallet or Miner ?

Wallet, but it work now brah, a bit slow, for 6 CPU core Sad
ANy tutorial to compile miner on Ubuntu server Huh

Really simple:

Code:
sudo apt-get install libcurl4-openssl-dev
git clone https://github.com/ocminer/cpuminer-hmq1725
cd cpuminer-hmq1725
sh autogen.sh
./configure CFLAGS="-march=native -Ofast" --with-curl --with-crypto
make

Ah nice Quark, here's a Pool:

https://loco.suprnova.cc

100% rejected here, need extra parameter on optimized quark sgminer ?

Works for me with a normal sgminer, nothing special just "-a quarkcoin"

what does this mean?

Its a hint that you should withdraw your coins from the pool Wink
you can increase the number of coins on the conclusion?
8000 max is a little

Increased. However, withdrawing is really the safest and best Solution, I have plenty of hacking attempts on the Accounts/Pools daily

The word "MULTIMiLLiONAIRE" is  very impressive. Early findings do bad. DEV just started the topic.

But you had a look at the specs, no?

Windows binary of the ocminer's pool miner.

http://1.curecoinmirror.com/cpuminer-hmq1725.zip

Direct compilation of Ocminer's github repository, use at your own risk, yada yada. Seems to be running about ~50%-70% faster than the built-in solo miner. Tested working on an Intel (i7-5820k) and AMD (8350) with Win7 and Win10. And for anyone nervous about binaries, you only lose ~4% speed by running it in a VM, which is where you should run binaries from random people on the internet anyway.

Sorry about all the disgusting dlls, it's Cygwin and I'm not a Windows guy.

Thanks, great work, I've added that to the Pool.

Difficulty is fast rising and getting hard to solo mine now, I hope there is an available cpu miner for windows soon that can connect to a pool.

We will re-engage the external miner, right now though, three more nodes and the auto-updater is what is about to be released.
To be perfectly honest it's pretty crappy to release a linux only miner and then go hop on a pool... Idk why anyone would be fine with paying a fee when they could solo. Again, we don't specialize in external miners, as such this is where we draw this view from.

Same here. This coin looks more promising everytime I stop by.

Good job Devs. and growing community!

Thank you we are doing our best, although slower than we'd like.

Waiting cpu miner also.

well considering ocminer left out entire directories and has no intention of supplying or informing anyone on how to create a windows external miner you might be waiting for a little until our team has time to re-engage the external mining aspect.
Solo mining is still perfectly feasible and is currently our recommended method.
We don't support favoritism and that's exactly what is happening with supernova pool... linux only? C'mond guys....

Besides horribly inaccurate hashrates, requested this be addressed and received no response...
The rate vs payout is also horrible inaccurate.

Couldn't even get our project name correct:
"Suprnova's ESPCoin Pool // Algo: HMQ1725 // Pre-Reg now ! "

Since when are we ESPCoin? Does is state that anywhere in our thread? No....

I don't know what's your problem but I'm actually doing no harm to your project at all, so there is no reason for bitching IMHO Smiley

My external Miner which is slightly faster than your internal miner because of the way the algo is implemented. Instead of reinitializing the algos everytime, it initializes the
algos only once and re-uses that for hashing. That was one of the very first and basic optimizations which were done for quark looong time ago. Rest assured that there will be more optimizations for sure shortly.

The external miner can be used for solo mining too without problems, just point it to your own wallet.

Hashrates on the pool should be pretty accurate already, of course it's a new algo so there is always stuff to tweak but in my tests everything was fairly ok.

I've corrected the header in the pool.

I've released everything under open source on my github:

https://github.com/ocminer?tab=repositories

You'll find the Miner Source, Hashing-module for pools etc.. Anyone can use that and start a second pool (Pool.mn is already working on one as far as I know, and I know about two others as well...)

As stated before I tried multiple times to compile for Win, but unfortunately I don't have or use Win anymore so I couldn't compile but this was done by Vorksholk now, thanks !

Please focus on the coin - not on me or the pool - thanks Smiley
3298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | ANN | Espers [ESP] | New Algo | New Features In Development | Reverse-ICO | on: April 15, 2016, 12:10:17 AM
yeah i think i noticed that but i can't navigate github (aka finding the miner)

Unfortunately there is no compiled version for windows yet .. I tried to compile via Cygwin but somehow "automake" is segfaulting when I try to compile
3299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | ANN | Espers [ESP] | New Algo | New Features In Development | Reverse-ICO | on: April 14, 2016, 11:51:48 PM
Espers makes me think of Final Fantasy III Smiley

Never played that one personally though i enjoy the series. If that's apositive statement then thank you!

no network connection

new nodes pls Smiley

Have you tried the ones in the OP?
We are still launching more so the list well also be updated today.
yeah, tried, still nothing.

He can simply use:

addnode=esp.suprnova.cc

And maybe you want to add the Pool to the OP... Along with the miner

Let me get you alist
3300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: | ANN | Espers [ESP] | New Algo | New Features In Development | Reverse-ICO | on: April 14, 2016, 11:31:08 PM
This should work.

sudo apt-get update -y
sudo apt-get -y install git automake gcc g++ libcurl4-openssl-dev libssl-dev make

git clone https://github.com/ocminer/cpuminer-hmq1725
cd cpuminer-hmq1725/
./autogen.sh
./configure --with-crypto --with-curl
make

Thanks for that, i'll put a link on my pool to this little guide, the final mining command would look like:

./cpuminer -a quark -o stratum+tcp://esp.suprnova.cc:3451 -u suprnova.1 -p x

Of course you' replace "suprnova.1" with your user.workername
