3281  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BREAKING: BINANCE STOPS WITHDRAWALS on: November 13, 2022, 09:50:35 PM
At this point it wouldn't surprise me anymore. You can't trust anyone on this industry. What people say today can be exactly the opposite tomorrow. Crypto developers and companies have proved to be more or so shameless like the specialists who run our fiat system, central banks and governments. They don't want to offer quality services and a smooth experience to crypto users, rather they want to steal maximum money as possible they can from crypto enthusiasts, disappearing right after without major consequences because the justice system is too slow and in some cases conniving with the thieves.
3282  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Cash which is more secure on: November 13, 2022, 08:57:15 PM
Each payment method has its advantages and disadvantages. I can't say which one is better or more secure for everyone, but I can say which one is better for myself: bitcoin. At same time, I'm conscious there are many people, especially elder ones, who don't access electronic devices and internet, so cash is a must for them when dealing and trading financially with other people. On their case cash will be the best alternative, without any doubts. Even though it's not safe to hold cash, they don't have another alternative. What they can do to maximize security is to acquire a safe box to store their cash and avoid walking alone with large sums of money on their pockets.
3283  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: November 13, 2022, 06:20:20 PM
Do not forget that here there are a lot of whale gamblers which make the website sustainable, without them I don't think the website just by giving free bitcoin and getting nothing in return would have survived that long.

Of course the weekly lottery it offers a good amount of Bitcoin every week but good luck being one of them out of the more than 50 million user base that the website has.

With this I don't want to say anything bad for the site but I think those who say what a crazy idea this is only by thinking, those should think a bit more and see all the contexts that the site has before saying such statement which for me is incorrect.
that's what I thought first where did the money they get to make freebitcoin survive until now of course there are many rich gamblers there so they still survive and exist, usually other free bitcoin sites that develop apps on mobile phones obviously they need players to see ads as the additional income to pay their players is less than the ad revenue, not much is surviving and it seems like only freebitcoin is surviving also more and more new users every day

hope to get lucky to get the weekly lottery even though the chance of winning is very small  Cheesy
That is mainly because freebitco.in has been one of the most famous crypto websites since the first day. I mean it didn't become this big just recently, they were big and high up in the "all time websites" ranking, look at their alexa ranking for example and they were like that at all times. It’s been maybe nearly 10 years or something like that, I am not sure exactly how much but it's nearly 10 years that much I know. And that means we are talking about a website that has been known for a decade and whales of course come here because of that.

We need to understand that whales like everything like rewards and cashbacks and all that, but "knowing" for sure that you can deposit even 100k bitcoins (1.6 BILLION dollars!) and still won't be scammed by this website is better information than any rewards out there.
Next year they complete a decade alive. That is a lot of time for a website where you can earn 'free money' every hour, while having access to many other features and advantages. I don't know any other site of this kind which is alive and popular for so long. All the faucets. PTC sites from 2013 are gone or irrelevant, but freebitco.in is still here, paying and adding new concepts to their platform.

Moreover, a big differential from them is the fact KYC isn't enforced. Of course it attracts a lot of gamblers, especially high rollers who don't want to show ID to online casinos.
3284  Economy / Economics / Re: Can our work be turned into a full-time investment? on: November 13, 2022, 06:13:03 PM
Under the current situation, many companies are facing bankruptcy or layoffs at any time, and we do not know what we will face tomorrow.
Do we need to switch our jobs to online jobs or a full-time investment in cryptocurrency?
What online jobs? Online jobs are so scarce like any other kind of physical job. And for investments you need money. Since without a job there isn't money, investments won't be possible as well...

If you were fired by the company, would you still find a job you love as quickly as possible?
I would look for a new job as quickly as possible, however it's not possible to assure I'm going to have success on doing this, because as I said above, jobs are too scarce right now.

Or you might choose to relax your mind and look for work again after a while.
I couldn't relax my mind knowing I don't have an income to live.

Do you have better advice for work?
Never give up looking for a work which will guarantee you a decent income, peace of spirit and personal fulfillment. Maybe you have to be creative to create your own work by yourself and present it to the people around you.
3285  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and the cryptospace is threatened by this legislation backed by Sam on: November 13, 2022, 03:01:44 AM
Mr. Bankman Fried donated to Biden's campaign and now SEC's president is being investigated by republicans for possibly favouring FTX in order to create a monopoly inside the (crypto) niche they operate. Further evidence is still needed, but it makes total sense considering the connections between Sam, his mother and democrats.

He seemed pretty confortable with Bill Clinton in an event as well:

When you mix politicians with businessmen you can expect a lot of shady activity going on and censorship coming to their competitors.
3286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is your lost from FTX collapse on: November 13, 2022, 02:41:36 AM
Nothing. Actually, I've heard too little about this exchange until the bankruptcy happened, although it was listed as the second biggest exchange of crypto market. All I knew about it was a kind of 'meme' created from a picture of the ex-CEO SBF kind of smilling in a very bizarre way, and that he was purchasing another bankrupted crypto companies. Well, it didn't last 6 months and FTX was found to be on the same bad conditions. For people who lost funds it's time to rebuild and from now on adopting a new strategy when investing funds virtually.

indeed investing in ftt such bad idea, it was such a good coin back then and now it becomes shit coins, even though my investments in ftt isn't that much regardless still a loss, can't imagine so many out there are losing millions in this definitely not because their fault but because the companies itself, I think we should think twice in term of investing, maybe diversifying seems like a good idea now that it seems literally the highest ranked coin could lose its value so easily.
It was good because they were manipulating the price artifitially with customers' money. I think now people must be very careful with native tokens from exchanges. Don't invest a significant portion of your holdings on them.
3287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CRYPTO CRASH on: November 13, 2022, 02:11:47 AM
FUD's can be either beneficial or harmful depending on the investor.

Let's not forget that every market is heavily moved by emotions. Sentiments play a big role in every market and it's more on the crypto market. What happened in the past few days is a proof that a single negative news can wipe out your whole profits for months in only 1-2 days.

CZ is the kind of businessman that you shouldn't mess up with if you are into crypto. That's how powerful he is right now when it comes to crypto. FUD can be beneficial if the investor will take the opportunity to buy when the market is down and on the other hand, FUD can be harmful when you already holding tokens and it went down significantly but more harmful if you panicked and sold it all at a loss.
The opportunity right now is good for bitcoin investors, as they can purchase it cheaper and hold knowing they have the best crypto among all on their portfolios, but it's not a good time for altcoins' enthusiasts. since we don't know how many of them will remain active and alive in this market. Many projects and companies are proving to be simply pump and dump schemes totally unstable and unsustainable. Each new scandal we see the hole is deeper than we expected, involving even more cryptocurrencies and personalities. With the FTX's scandal even celebrities and politicians were found to be involved on the situation.
3288  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Copying Bet From Other Unknown Bettors, Is This a Good Practice? on: November 13, 2022, 02:02:19 AM
This really depends on your knowledge on the game itself- remember that some bettors have a specific amount for betting.

Are you familiar with the martingale strategy? You might copy the betting system of a person not knowing that he bets double whenever he losses a round and this might interfere with your strategy or fund management. Like what most have mentioned, it is still recommended if you develop your own strategy especially if you are not familiar with a current game.
Didn't expect that but yeah, it might interfere your fund management if you carelessly copying someone's betting style. So, it depends if someone is aware of what they are doing but if not then they might lose or win depending on who they have been copying but most of the time they would still lost.

I won't suggest copying someone's betting style if they aren't familiar with the strategy the other bettors been doing. They might end up losing the same and just like what the majority said, develop your own strategy or watch closely those random bettors you are copying if they are really winning or else you will be copying someone just to lose at the end.
The point is that there will always be people betting on the different possible outcomes for a same match, so after all you still have to be lucky to copy the right predictor among the alternatives around. It's not different from betting by yourself. I think it's an interesting concept that may turn the gambling activity more entertaining for the gambler who wants to have a different experience from the trivial one where he builds his bets as he wish. Sometimes we want to follow our instincts, but on other moments we simply want to follow someone's lead and enjoy the winnings with them, almost like a 'team'.
3289  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cash out or wait till the end on: November 12, 2022, 05:00:45 PM
It makes no sense to cashout less money than you deposited. Better to let the money idle on the platform for your future gambling sessions, otherwise it will be more expensive for you to have to make a new deposit after some days paying more transaction's fees, besides the fact you also have to pay withdrawal's fees.

You just have to be a controlled person in order to respect your own money not touching it while deposited on the platform until your next gambling session. Manage for how long you want this money to last for betting activity and play accordingly without going busted at once.
3290  Other / Archival / Re: I won 85,000 USDt at Owl.games casino (problems) on: November 12, 2022, 05:36:33 AM
I've never seen a player's history like this. The road from 2000$ to 85,000$ is too long to be reached without highs and lows on the bankroll. On this case it was easy for OP, since he went smoothly since the beginning to his final target in a very short time period without losses meanwhile. Probably the history shown by OP is more unlikely to happen for real than winning on the lottery against million of people. This story is very strange and the casino is right for investigating it further before allowing the withdrawal. On the other hand, if he played honestly I think these statistics should be sent to Guinness Book.
3291  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Birth of a Cycle (Current Bitcoin 4 year cycle is about to end) on: November 12, 2022, 04:35:50 AM
In my opinion, the 4-year cycle problem should not be used as a guideline, because it is possible that bitcoin with a time of 2 or 3 days can bull run and it may also experience a deep decline. so I think the cycle case is most likely not predictable.

not as a guideline but as a feedback on the value of bitcoin itself, because basically bitcoin is now difficult to guess, when it will bullrun or bear,
but it is undeniable that we are all used to the 4 year cycle so let's see what happens in 2024 later if it is true that the 4 year cycle means that this cycle is true can be said as a guide
you could say it's just a coincidence I think btc has increased at that time, (shallow thinking) but history will not repeat itself all out of control
we will wait for 2024 to see if there will be a new history with the value of btc
The cycles aren't coincidence, they match halving years. If we look bitcoin's history we will see that always after a new halving, bitcoin's price skyrocketed considerably. From all the events in crypto market and despite its volatile, unpredictable nature, halving's impact on bitcoin is one, if not the only immutable rule so far. Thankfully it works as a powerful fuel for bitcoin's price and as boost to increase investors' morale and confidence in bitcoin on long term. Doesn't matter how bad the scenario looks on the present moment, when we think about cycles (that are determined by halvings) we calm down and renew our expectations for the future.
3292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are crypto devs so greedy on: November 11, 2022, 02:54:58 PM
There isn't perfect solution on this matter. You can hold your coins in a private wallet, controlling your own keys, so you will be protected from those scammers. However, you don't earn interest and don't grow your portfolio this way, losing many investment opportunities for your crypto.

Or you can still use centralized services, hoping the operators of the platforms you are using aren't greedy bastards like the ones we are seeing crumbling at this moment. The point is, we don't have any assurance of the honesty and legitimacy of these guys, since we don't even know them closely. Moreover, even top crypto services have failed and scammed customers, so the sucess of a company isn't enough to say that is a safe and profitable place to deposit your funds.
3293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Capital during sudden crashes on: November 11, 2022, 05:29:28 AM
In such times, capital can be handy as such opportunities are like finding gold on street.
Right, scenarios like the currently one are good for new investors and investors in general who still have capital to invest in cryptocurrency. It's not everyday we have bitcoin pricing 17,000$ and it's likely we aren't going to see bitcoin on this price range anymore in some years, so it's definitely a good moment to start holding crypto. However, since these are uncertain times, it's better to invest in cryptos which we know their potential by checking their history. There are too many alternatives disponible, what makes investors confused about where to put their money, therefore they should stick with what has already proved to work, that is: bitcoin investment.
3294  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who are those people that you don't want them to know you are a gambler on: November 11, 2022, 05:23:04 AM
Some gamblers keep their gambling activities secrete from people they have close relationship with. Having it in mind that if these people know they are gamblers,it might bring down their reputation or make them look wasteful. I hide my gambling activities from my Mom the reason is that she hates gamblers and calls them irresponsible people from her own perspective.

Are you such gambler ?
Who are these people you hide your gambling activities from ?
Give a reason why you don't want them to know you are a gambler.
I think my wife and my mother since they are against it, they always say that if you have bought or invest it on stuffs we really needed then it's much more good rather than gamble it with uncertainty. I'm not really that a gambler but something really is not right when you feel lost and you have those regrets much more if your wife finds it out and get a good talking.
That is why people should gamble only with money they can afford to lose and that won't be missed by the gambler later. If you have to repair something in your house or acquire a new furniture, of course you should use your money for those purposes instead of gambling, because life quality and comfort come first, but there isn't any problem if after spending on what your family is lacking you use some spare money to gamble just to have some fun. After all, everyone deserves to have their personal and private relaxing moment doing what they enjoy sometimes.
3295  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto exchange wars going on... FTX vs Binance on: November 11, 2022, 01:26:33 AM
A recent information said that FTX is losing about 8 billion and they are doing everything to find sponsors for this loss to support users to withdraw money. Although all the news is very negative, there is no official announcement yet, so I think we need to calm down at this point. A lot of news on twitter, causing extreme chaos and panic for everyone, we need to calm down.
I've already seen this movie before with Celsius. These guys are scammers and just want to buy time. They should have never printed native tokens from thin air, because it leads these greedy guys to execute pump and dump schemes with customers' funds to make their tokens shine towards their competitors and the market in general. If they worked responsively, respecting users' funds and dealing mainly with consolidated cryptocurrencies we wouldn't see such a mess.

Another lesson for us about storing assets as well as choosing coins to invest. "Not our keys, not our money, bitcoin is always king". Never forget these 2 golden mantras if you want to invest in cryptocurrency.
Bitcoin is king, but it's hard for some people like myself to not invest btc for extra interest, because I need money for daily expenses and it's also not a good idea to sacrifice/dilapidate holdings which took years to acquire in a monthly basis until I have nothing else held for the next bull run... It's a hard decision and I feel between a rock and a hard place.

I hope this is the case but I am not so sure this will happen, and this is because it takes a lot of time for the justice system to perform its function, so assuming a total collapse of the FTX exchange happens then it could take years before whatever assets they hold are sold and distributed to their customers.

So not only their customers will lose a great deal of their money but they could also miss out the next halving, something which will cost them even more money since they will lose the biggest opportunity they could have to recover some of the money they have lost due to this disaster.
Pretty sad, but true. Sad
I hope an agreement can be reached faster than expected.
3296  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is a Disruptive Technology and the Government hates disruption🤔 on: November 10, 2022, 03:51:32 PM
Governments are concerned because they know their fiat system isn't sustainable and doesn't lead modern society to prosperity. They don't know what to do anymore and I think their last move was to raise interest rates in order to attract investors to their countries.

They see bitcoin as a threat, as money invested in btc is out of their surveillance and control, but on the other hand, they must be somehow confortable for now with so many huge scams happening in cryptocurrency, so they can say people the only entity to trust are governments and not entrepreneurs from a decentralized environment where there are no rules and guarantees for its participants.
3297  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The origins of Slot games on: November 10, 2022, 04:13:09 AM
One of the most interesting points of Slots' story is the fact that in 1902 they were banned, so as an alternative to keep existing and operating, those machines started paying prizes to 'gamblers' in candies, since money prizes were no longer allowed. Each fruit displayed on the slots paid a different candy's flavor and that is why this slots' icons theme got so popular and became a classic until nowadays.
3298  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto exchange wars going on... FTX vs Binance on: November 10, 2022, 02:41:27 AM
Finally they updated on their website:

Now it's official and we probably never see our money again  Embarrassed
Sad but true
Sorry for your loss. I've also lost money to the scammers from Celsius recently. This year is being a tough one for crypto adopters. Too many greedy scammers ruling top businesses on this universe. Let's hope and do the possible at our range so it doesn't take too long until action is taken against the responsible ones, then customers can receive at least part of their funds back. It's a shame it took so long for MT. Gox's customers, but now there is much more attention, focus and people involved on crypto (from every sectors of society) that I think things must happen faster.
3299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can roullete be rigged? on: November 10, 2022, 02:10:51 AM
This why i lose 2 days in a row thiefs. New casino iwas in
Although it's possible to rig a live roullete, you shouldn't jump to a final conclusion without further evidence. It can be that the house was cheating, but it can also be that you were just unlucky, what should be expected on long term anyway, since the house has a slight advantage on every games against gamblers. The important is to never lose control and bet money you can't afford to lose for vengeance reasons, otherwise you are going to be the main prejudiced in the end. Play for entertainment, and if you are concerned and suspecting a casino in particular, don't play there. There are many other alternatives around.
3300  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who are those people that you don't want them to know you are a gambler on: November 10, 2022, 12:36:32 AM
Are you such gambler ?
Who are these people you hide your gambling activities from ?
Give a reason why you don't want them to know you are a gambler.
I don't have to hide my gambling activity from anyone, because I gamble with my own money, so it's not other people's business what I do with my own funds. If they see me in a bad manner because I like gambling, it's also none of my business, so let it be. Of course gamblers must be responsible with their habits, otherwise they will create issues for people around them who will have to take action against their addiction and help them to survive, since addiction leads to severe financial and emotional problems. Anyway, I like to talk about gambling with people and if I've played recently I've no problem in sharing my personal experience with them.
