3283  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BitInstant getting hit by a DDoS attack? on: November 07, 2012, 09:39:15 PM

I consider the discussion page the main page for up and coming news, no not media news but new stuff thats going on in the bitcoin world. Is it so hard to leave something like this up for awhile on the discussion page.

After all not everyone is versed in the forum as well as the veterans here.

Show unread posts since last visit is the first button from the top on this page. It is really the easiest way to brose through new/updated Threads in the forum.

You should try it.

It would really be interesting who DDoS Bitcoin sites all the Time.

About a year ago, there was this time when pools where often DDoS'ed, this has stopped , seems they are going for services know.

Last Week it was BTC-E. Today bitcoin.de, too.

And though it was the world made believe that Satoshi has left us.

And many felt great despair. But then the holy algorithm reviled the truth.

Satoshi ascended into the blockchain from where he will guide us until eternity.

In the name of Satoshi, the blockchain and deflation.

In eternity.

Bitcoin.

Do you have any advice to shareholders that are unsure of how many shares they owned at the time the GLBSE stopped providing any data? I unfortunately didn't have an up-to-date copy of my CSV file when they went down Sad

Same here, I have no Idea how many share I had. I didn't keep much attention to it, just occasionally bought some when they where cheap. What should I claim? A random number that looks nice? The only thing I know is that I had (have?) shares.

3288  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Thanks USA! on: November 07, 2012, 01:41:04 PM
I really believe it really makes next to no difference who of the two is President.

What really surprises me is this:

Also, legal marijuana in Washington and Colorado, and gay marriage in Maine and Maryland? Woah! Welcome to the 21th century, I'm really impressed.  Grin

That really disturbs the cliche picture I have of a US-American.

Welcome to the 21th century, indeed.

Shouldn't you have asked this questions before prepurchasing one?

If you read their thread here all questions considering Hardware requirements should be answered.

Seems like you need to intal a newer version, you have still a version with a Dos vulnerability.

I know, the client was Bitcoinj, probably outdated. But are there any OTHER alert for any other client version going around and not expired?

None that I know of.

Since you have paid back all loans before due date, I would give you a positive rating.

But I need one more rating myself to be able to rate people (Kind of a chicken and egg problem?!)

So please rate me and enable me to rate.

Yes, it would be really nice if next to the exhibit would stand:

Since this coin has been displayed here it received donations increasing it's worth 10 Times.

And a basic explanation how that works.

3300  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Nefario on: November 06, 2012, 03:11:05 PM
I heard that little voice whispering "you are going to regret this" when I send back that double payment.

At this point I'm sure this was a mistake. Nefario won't send any asset information, won't he?

Just f***
