3284  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTB] 4 BTC with paypal, PM me! on: May 17, 2013, 07:24:41 PM
I will sent btc first. pm'd

Of course... this will go perfectly smooth and you won't get scammed at all.

I'm damn sure it's OP's multi account to get fake vouch and trick other peoples to send first.
3285  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: What would be a good server host to run an exchange on? on: May 17, 2013, 07:21:04 PM
Never use VPS to run bitcoin exchange or mining pool. Never. If you do, prepare to cover the losses from attacks from your own pocket. Buy your own hardware, or rent a dedicated server without access through any kind of centralized control panel.

+1

If you are serious about your site/project spend some money and get your own private server, Otherwise your site will remain vulnerable somehow.

Yes, I did a completely new install of Windows on a separate hard drive - so it has the latest Bitcoin client.

I mean is it fully sync'd?
3288  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Lost encrypted wallet, found, now can't recover on: May 17, 2013, 07:05:50 PM
I was able to salvage a wallet that sort of repaired itself.  However, out of the 22.7 BTC, it is missing 10 BTC, which is actually one transaction... so one trans is missing from the wallet :-/

I guess it's a great start, now not sure if I can recover the rest.

Is your Bitcoin client updated ? and try to export your private key.
If you got it back your money is back.
3289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: What would be a good server host to run an exchange on? on: May 17, 2013, 06:39:59 PM
Go for any good hosting site but make sure to use some kind of reverse proxy or cloudflare etc.
That gives extra protection to your site.

some suggestions

edis.at

1 pooped panty = 0.15 BTC
Good looking gift pack = 0.10 BTC
shipping to enemies address  = 0.50 BTC
Smile on your face = Priceless

I wonder if there are legal repercussions for sending unwanted doody

I think it's not illegal (But still don't fill right senders details)

3298  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anyone know of a multivendor shopping cart which can be intergrated with btc? on: May 17, 2013, 11:02:54 AM
I haven't used it before, so I can't verify whether or not it's any good, but there is an OpenCart extension that's "free".  I put free in quotes because while it's free to install, it requires a merchant account on their website so it may well be one of those services that converts bitcoins to dollars for you and charges some sort of fee.  But if you're interested, here's the link: http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route=extension/extension/info&extension_id=3456&filter_search=payment%20gateways&filter_license=0&page=7

And why do you think people should trust that no name bitcoin payment processor?
Check btcinch.com it's a chinese blog not site, they probably closed it long time ago.

Best one is http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route=extension/extension/info&extension_id=3119&filter_search=bitcoin&filter_license=0

There's already some plugin for bitcoin payment in opencart but OP is asking for multivendor support.

3299  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Will Google Wallet Kill Paypal? on: May 16, 2013, 06:19:12 PM

No because

PayPal is a dinosaur in some ways as long as PayPal is tied to ebay, PayPal will survive anything Google Wallet throws at it.

3300  Economy / Services / Re: Girlfriend and I produce custom NSFW pic sets tailored to your requests *pics* on: May 16, 2013, 06:14:53 PM
aww man you both look good, and your gf is cute.

Ps: Don't give your personal information (names etc) to anyone and I think you shouldn't let her do NSFW thing... unless you want to make your girlfriend famous on reddit/4chan.

Anyways you both are mature and it's your decision.
