Don't easily get fooled when someone posted their winning. It could be their winning after spent bigger amount than what they won. They obviously won't tell us how much profit/lose they got, they will simply post their winning too which they think it could make people attract with the site where they won.
You don't get fooled with anyone's win if he has shared his win on some social platform. It is simply because he is overjoyed with that win but yes we don't know how much exactly he has burnt before reaching that level. But if the normal players have shared their wins not the sponsered ones they don't serve the advertisement purpose as whole but people automatically gets attracted to that casino in hope of same high wins.

3285  Other / Meta / Re: [TOP-200] The most generous users giving merits on: August 15, 2021, 12:13:02 PM

Apart from the fact that legendaries are more likely to be good content posters, let us consider this;
The merit sources who also are more of legendaries have been here for a long time. They have been meeting one another here for many years, apart from the content of the posts, they have falling inlove with the writing patterns of one another, their tones, how humorous, commanding or entertaining they will be. So, meriting such posts becomes a habit, most times without paying attention to the contents.
Although the hero or legendary members who have been on the forum from a long time and tend to know each other will not give any merit to other if the post quality don't match the meriting criteria or is not of that quality. The writing patterns fan following is obviously there like @JJG is famous for his long and elaborated wall of text giving replies in depth and explaining the other members but you can't say he is writing something off-topic or dragging up the topic so if other legendary members merit that post it's fine and worth it.They might give some extra merits compared to newbie account but not on the verge of ignorance.

Secondly, the law of reciprocation is indirectly playing out. Merit seems to flow to those who has the ability and enablement to reciprocate. A Merit source can easily give out 50merits to a legendary fellow, knowing too well that it is cyclical, re-genaratable and reciprocal.
Sometimes merit sources help each other if they eun out of merits to allocate the same to other quality posts on the forum. We can't say they are abusing the system but in the end they are not going to hoard them but spend all of them as they will regenerate them next month. You can see most of the sources are ready to help new members also to rank them up only if they gave good out of their posts and contribute effectively.

Finally, I believe merit sources do not give higher merits to lower ranking members because they believe they may abuse the smerits they will have as a result of the given merits. It's somewhat showing that the merit system works in conjunction with the trust system. If you are trusted, you are trusted with merits too. Knowing too well you may not play the hide and seek game with your alt on merit issuance.
Like many new members have got many merits for their posts like @Rainbowkun,@Kaggie and you yourself why? Because you all have contributed for the same. You will find many such members in local sub-boards also with 30-40 activity and more than 200 merits gained with account registration this year only. This is because they are getting merits from legendary and sources.

I am of the opinion that lower ranking member(s) who is able to produce a few quality posts, can be trusted and has a decent history of smerit allocation should benefit evenly because they are the future of bitcointalk.
Thank you!
No doubt they are future of the forum but it needs to be tested that whether the future is in safe hands or not and that takes time to judge the writing style of newbies account and if they continue to the same and effective posting the rewards and rank up are on your way.

I'll admit I know which Hero & Legendary members tend to make quality posts, but I try not to merit them often, and if I do give them merits, it's usually a small number.  I do try to save merits for lower-ranked members, and I love it when I can help a deserving individual rank up.
I have noticed the same thing that you help most of the members who are quality posters and contributing to the forum and left with little merits to rank up you help them by giving them required merits.Every member have his different approach of sending smerits and the main purpose is to merit the good posts in any way you can do.Your way of helping inspires lot.

By the way, I was surprised to see that there are some casinos that provide free withdrawals, meaning there are no transaction fees at all. I wonder how they manage this.
They probably have such an extensive user base of players who have been with them for years that they can afford to pay the transaction fees instead of their customers because they are earning so much already. It's a gamble, but one they are willing to take. If one day they noticed a huge outflow of players and gaming activity on their sites, I am sure they would introduce withdrawal fees as well. It wouldn't be good for business continuing with their practices and generating losses.
Yes exactly they are into business and making profits and whenever they will see downfall in customer or player base they will surely implement changes in their withdrawal or deposit policies. The game is all about making money and they earn it from users.

3288  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Does power really corrupt? on: August 15, 2021, 08:52:03 AM
See the main point of concern is that powers come with abilities to use and handle them and if they are dedicated to the rightful owner and don't get into wrong hands then it's all good.

The Rock has gained physical powers with his hard work and gym dedication and he is making use of it by portraying him as action hero in movies and selling products like tequila and underarm music system and making billions but we cannot say him corrupt.

Someone needs to have those powers and you can also have them in any way you discover them but it all comes with responsibility if you take a deep look at it and corruption can ofcourse ruin it in destructive way.Suppose you have political or military powers in your hand as Biden and most powerful economy under your control but your personal benefitting decisions and your corrupt nature could make conditions worst for yourself and your country also. Why under developed or developing countries lag behind major nations in every aspect? Because the powerful people residing there are taking undue advantage of their powers and exercising full control over people's life.Your perception changes everything and if you ever have power that can effect others make best use of it not only for your personal benefits.
3289  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 3 types of Newbies on: August 15, 2021, 08:40:57 AM
Some newbies which now join the forum has sole purpose to join bounty campaigns with alt accounts and you can see only submission posts on their account ,as they are being introduced to the bitcointalk as some sort of income source rather than a discussion forum which can enhance their knowledge at root levels and make them technically sound.

The other who are here are not into learning process like make analysis of the topics that could help them and keep on repeating the same mistake violating thr forum rules and end up getting ban on account.

Only a handful of new registrations on the forum are into effective and healthy contribution on the forum and those who are deep into it are gaining merits for the same but it's sad to see forum going this way.
3290  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 15, 2021, 07:45:13 AM
I think it is harsh to call them scammers they are simply dumb and do not understand how revolutionary Bitcoin is that is their problem and not ours.
I a was referring to those scammers who try to influence people that bitcoin is bubble and prices can bust anytime soon and they will loose money not to ordinary or common people who don't understand the importance of bitcoin in today's world.

The other part is that bitcoin is not only about making money with investment but also financial freedom and idea to replace money itself in the long run.

A nice advice for all those who want to invest in bitcoin that you won't get rich overnight as no one has ever become in most cases but you need to think about safeguarding your future like you take insurance policies and plans for your kids and old age.So it is better not to regret at that time making same false and lame excuses.Be part of it now.
3291  Other / Archival / Re: Another Motivation for Novice Crypto Investors on: August 14, 2021, 02:49:00 PM
The most safe investment According to people gold has given diminishing returns and see how ironically the investment have gone $4 less from the initial 10 years and people hodling gold bars in their bank lockers over all these years worth $1k now have $996 with them.It seems like having same dollar bills with you and counter inflation has depreciated your wealth over time now.The past 10 days comparison also is like gold -10% and bitcoin giving annual returns of more than 300% to the holders. What is people can't hold bitcoin if they can hold gold in lockers for all these years? They call it risky and bubble and how will they feel now they knows. But overall nice comparison. Most importantly Don't call bitcoin Digital Gold because it's far more worthy than it.

To some people will claim that some shitcoins have given more returns compared to bitcoin but they need to have proper knowledge first of all because there are certain reasons for bitcoin growth like consistent adoption, network security, soft fork upgradation and a growing community but those shitcoins rises with influence and have no utility to serve and when you realise it that once crashed they cannot recover but btc if down 80% also will give 180% return to patient holders which only less percentage knows.

3293  Economy / Speculation / Re: No BTC Holding is risky on: August 14, 2021, 08:33:35 AM
I have sold my BTC earlier @$31k-$35k range long ago. I have invested in altcoin then and made some great profits although I had to lose 50% at the end. Now, I own almost no cryptocurrency other than USDT and a few trash coins.

Yesterday, I was scrolling newsfeed on twitter and got someone tweeted like this, "No BTC holding is risky.' This is somewhat true when I thought it deeply. Now, I got the same feeling. It’s risky to not own any bitcoin. Fiat is getting devalued all the time.
Going from "bitcoin is risky" to "not having any btc is more risky" you are called grown up and realising how bitcoin is not about making money but also about replacing money.I am glad you was only 50% down and if you have not sold them you would be saying i invested $100 and now i don't have any so stack sats instead of those shitcoins out there.Getting a pie of bitcoin is better than getting full load of shit cakes Cheesy.

I reformat my Cellphone and....

What to do when you forgot your recovery phrase? Any solutions? anyone can lend me a hand or rather an idea of what to do?

Iam really devastated I might lose my earned altcoin from my previous campaign
First of all it is your biggest mistake that you have not backed up your recovery phrase on offline modes or vaults which is advisable many times and secondly you have not backup on phone also to other locations?

What best you can do is not to use your mobile phone for certain time until you find solutions because whenever we delete the files they don't get deleted immediately but the phone marked the space as empty and you are not able to see those deleted files on your phone and when you download new data it gets filled on that space so avoid using your phone. The next step is to find deleted files on your phone and search for recycle bin or deleted files as some phones support this software in files manager or try to install android data recovery apps on your pc and use secured usb connection so that data don't get formatted in the process.

Visit this site to read in detail : How to recover data in Android

Apps to recover data on iphone

But you need to be very much careful as they might takes your to some shaddy or phissy recovery sites that might takes your recovery phrase from you and use them to your funds withdrawal as proper care needs to be taken in these online modes.Try your best and don't do such things in future if your get your funds back.
3296  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can anything make you stop gambling on: August 14, 2021, 07:37:41 AM
I have being gambling for quite a while now and  I don't think I'm addicted to it but nothing can make me stop gambling. Gambling is like a joy to me, it makes me happy and any time I tried to stop entirely, I would see my see going back to it.

Gambling is intoxicating and can give a great fortune if one is lucky and with the right fate. Can anything stop you from gambling...maybe your family, friends, circumstances or even your losses?
You yourself can stop you from exceeding your limits in gambling or if you don't have deep pockets then simply you will stop at one point when you will left with nothing so try to have cover at first step. But i don't know why you want to stop gambling if you are already playing in limits then it's not a big problem as enjoying as entertainment purposes is not going to harm you in any form so why put barriers to it? Keep putting small bets and imagine you win huge then would you ask same question? It is just state of mind on which we need to have stable control and know our stop loss limitations then gambling can bring you new things.

If you want to know how much he burnt or wagered, you can just try to find/see his account and check his all-time wagered amount as it summarizes all of his wagers on a certain casino. Roycilik IMO is a lucky and knowledge player. Not only him, we also have other very good players here like Bitinity.
They both share a good gambling bond and have seen them actively participating in various casino games like duelbits and Rollbit itself and have win many times and shared their wins with members on the forum. They are ofcourse good players who also take part in various gambling competition and burn good amount on wagering.
3298  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: August 14, 2021, 07:07:58 AM
Even you will sue the ETH, BTC, or LTC, the withdrawal fee was still the same, it is I think ranging from 6-8$ while BTC is on $10 which is still good enough.
How is $6 - $10 good enough? It is unacceptable in my opinion. Some crypto gambling sites charge zero withdrawal fees while some others provide various options(Slow, Fast etc) to bring the fees below $5. Roobet needs to improve in this aspect.

Whales might not mind these fees, but they are part of the minority. The majority of gamblers are small-scale gamblers who have issues with high withdrawal fees.
Most of the casino withdrawal fees are feasible and only betcoin and bitsler have high fees of $8 and $15 but Roobet fees also is high and problem for small gamblers indeed but we can't do anything serious about it until the Roobet team decides to make some changes for players.Using LTC is most preferred among small gamblers due to high fees of eth and btc which are very high during network congestion time period.

Bill and Melinda Gates foundation have donated more than $50 billion in charity for all the noble causes and it is good and supportive move on their part. The most of major companies have social causes include in the management working and business strategies also because of some reasons like it improves the image of company and tax rebates are given by the government. But there is nothing wrong in this case because the government funds flow in different directions for charity and donations and the problem is with corruption at root levels and people don't get full aid and utilities of funds allocated but if some philanthropist is dedicated to such cause there are no chances of any corruption. They have setup Giving Pledge organization for charity cause along with warren Buffett which now has 223 pledgers donating for different noble causes coming from 27 countries and donating to all the poor people and lending them a helping hand.

They are businessman and setup MNC's from scratch and build their empire and network over all those years and we are utilising their services and we can't say they are exploiting any natural resources for personal cause but they are working towards betterment of the company and caters to the need of employees and their families as whole and we pay for what we use as said by stompix so there is nothing wrong with it.

Bill gates donations

Bill gates 12 major donations

I found them completely reliable and if you are having your name on fortune 500 or Forbes rich list then giving it out to charity and betterment of humanity requires some kind hearted feeling and gut feelings for help because there are many who have made enough but still prefer to Store them for coming generations. You can't evade poverty or end up problems of mankind but can be reason or contribute to reduce them at some levels.

I also saw the announcement on the Rollbit Twitter account, and after this big win, a few moments later he again won a large amount even though it was not as big as the bonus battle https://twitter.com/rollbitcom/status/1425502271127785476
as you said these big wins will always be the thing to come up on Rollbit
I was not aware about this win and he won another big one worth more than $200k with 1183x multiplier and $200 bet and it seems good that he is having those good times on Rollbit these days and for small gamblers this is insane wins type.He is also ruling the leaderboard on second number and winning some extra bonus also and enjoying those nice wins and profits.
