3281  Economy / Speculation / Re: Patience is all we need on: June 18, 2018, 01:49:19 PM
if you want to be successful in crypto currency then patience is the key, without patience you will do the thing that will make you lose and it is not good, then we must be able to control emotion, keep calm and patient

As always, that's easier said than done. You can't alwats stay calm and patient when you see your money dwindling down especially if you're a newbie. Experience goes hand in hand with patience in this market to keep yourself afloat amidst all the fluctuation and instability.
3282  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin stay above 6500? on: June 18, 2018, 01:45:50 PM
Hope for the bulls to come. We can't assume on when will be the expected bull to come.

But there's only few words that I'll leave here which I have read somewhere on the web and whoever created it, credits to him.

 "In bitcoin we trust"

We trust for it's come back and healthy market soon.

We trust for it's domination.

We trust even the market falls.

We trust bitcoin in almost everything.

If you are trading, don't hope for anything, wait for the right signals before buying. Right now, nothing indicates a reversal so there is no reason to buy right now unless you like extra risk, which is fine but you have to know how to play it correctly. Volume declining means that eventually a big move will happen.
I disagree, you say that there's no reason to buy right now? Taking a look of the past charts is enough to say that this is the best time to buy and it's under $6,500 again. Every time you're going to buy there's a risk, whether the market is up or not. We're struggling for months now and that big move for its surprising comeback is what we've been waiting for.

Well, it'll come when it it comes. In this kind of market I guess you'll just have to make a stand lol. Whether you believe in btc or you're out of here. We're probably going to dip below 6.5k and even lower so if you don't trust in btc and believe in it's long term project, then it's time to exit :p
3283  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin going to $400 on: June 18, 2018, 01:31:44 PM
Do not be hasty to judge, it's not about the price of bitcoin up or down. It's about what the benefits from Bitcoin that we can get. Bitcoin is still better than bank service and other type of investment. Bitcoin is still the best in term of transaction and still profitable as investment.
still very far to reach the target is now the price is decreasing and if the future continues to improve as last year the possibility of prices can be achieved in the next few years.

It would be difficult for many to perceive bitcoin now as anything other than an investment or a means of making profit. And by that, people are anxious about it's fluctuating value, especially those that aren't prepared to go for long term investments. 400$ though for me isn't going to happen. If it does, hopefully I get the foresight to switch to other alts
3284  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Drops Below $6,500 on: June 18, 2018, 01:28:24 PM
Bitcoin dropping to 6500 and below is going to reduce the hope that holder of it has in it of rising back to 20000 price it traded last december. It seems altcoins and ICOs are good investment now since bitcoins is failing to meet the expectations of investors.

well, this is a very difficult thing. but, I also predicted that something like this would happen. we know that after long bitcoin stability, there will be a pump, or a large dump that happens. so, now we can only wait for the price to go back up.

I see it the same way, though for other people, it would depend if they could wait for the long term or not. It could take probably weeks or even months before that upward surge happens and a lot can happen between now and then. It could even go way below it's current value, who knows.
3285  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in the front page of the IMF website as the currency of the future on: June 18, 2018, 01:22:05 PM
I didn't forget that..
There's a picture on the front page of the IMF website with the monkey-to-human evolution picture where the human has a floating BTC above his palm

Very strong signal, this means BTC is here to stay.

http://www.imf.org/external/index.htm

You can say it's within the context of the cover of an article of their journal - yes it is.

But it is still a "Bitcoin is the future" message on their front page.

I agree that Bitcoin is here to stay. I also think that there are many altcoins that are here to stay as well. No one knows for sure which altcoins are the ones that will last, but several of the top ones currently will probably last pulse some new ones that will come along later as we see new developments and new uses for cryptocurrencies in general.

It is a real possibility. With the advancement of our time and the near future, bitcoin and other altcoins could play a big role if it will not take the place of fiat money today. It has already drawn attention from such media as IMF and also from individuals. No one completely knows how far it will go in the future but it will surely be promising.

Something to look forward to right? It may not be as bright as it may seem today, and even if that report isn't exactly fronting the imf site, bitcoin is an innovation that precedes blockchain awareness. It's the technology that would probably define future transactions.
3286  Economy / Speculation / Re: Everybody knows about Bitcoin. We won’t see 20k again. Why? Here! on: June 18, 2018, 01:18:38 PM
Everybody knows about Bitcoin.
Why would X and Y but bitcoin at such high prices ? ($8000-1000) while BTC started from few cents.
Why would wall street join BTC ?
We wont see 20k lvl again. 10k is history.

I don't quite agree. Yeah at this point people would really be pessimistic about buying btc at a high price as of today's standards but once bitcoin claims mainstream acceptance both from the public and governments, I think 20k would be a meager target tonsay the least. It may not be at the same quick pace as before, but i'm confident we'll get to that point
3287  Economy / Speculation / Re: who else has the feeling that bitcoin will keep going down? on: June 18, 2018, 11:05:57 AM
in the near future the price is unlikely to grow and it adds up the impression that it sinks much lower than now
Did you just come up with this or is your opinion based on some signals? I can say with confidence that we are now at the bottom. More bitcoin will not fall. Soon speculators will not be able to restrain the growth and the price will go up. But I am not sure that the growth will be very large. It seems to me that this year bitcoin will not cost more than $ 10,000.

Well both of you are making personal speculations though it's not certain which iy would be by the end of the year. Some people are still confident that we'll go beyond the current ath. Some say we'll hit below 5 or 4k. You'll only stress yourself out thinking about all the possibilities by the end of the year
3288  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin breaking $20,000 again? on: June 18, 2018, 11:00:27 AM
We all have seen how bitcoin crossed $20,000 in December . When do you think this will happen again?

Hard to tell, still. The market is going crazy right now, the market value of the majority of cryptos including Bitcoin, is falling and is having a hard time to break the price barriers. As such, investing is really advisable in order to benefit once the market starts to recover. If it is possible for Bitcoin to finally reach the 20k usd mark, it might happen on the last quarter or weeks of this year as what happened on the previous years.
Investing right now that the price is very low is a very good idea but to think the price is going to behave in the exact same way as it did in the last year is a terrible mistake, most people get their hopes up thinking like that and when that does not happen they are going to be disappointed about their predictions not becoming true and it is likely they will sell not realizing that will be a terrible mistake.

People are basing their speculations now from btc's december run. I don't even think bitcoin was supposed to hit 20k that fast in a year. So don't be disappointed if the price doesn't hit the ath this year because 20k isn't even supposed to be ath at this time.
3289  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the Bitcoin market going to collapse? on: June 18, 2018, 10:58:23 AM
The market today is turbulent but that doesn't mean bitcoin will collapse. precisely, this moment will be used to invest both bitcoin and altcoin. just waiting for time to go breakout.

the moment where market conditions are like this there are up and down there because last year was a year where the price is so very high and maybe now headed where the price is so low it is a very reasonable thing.

The market status wasn't very high until the last quarter of last year though. To think that a collapse will occur because the value is around 6k is foolish considering that by most of last of last year's standards, btc is still at a decent value.
3290  Economy / Speculation / Re: No change in bitcoin price for 24 hours on: June 18, 2018, 08:10:55 AM
Today Bitcoin fell from $7500 to $6,700 and the price has not changed in the past 24 hours. It is at $6750 all the time.

Did something go very wrong with Bitcoin ?? -12% fall in one hour and then no trading till now..
do not worry too much about this. bitcoin values are much lower before, but in some time bitcoin values can be very high. this is great, we can make a profit and take a break to trade every day by storing bitcoin in the next few months till its value is high again.
Good idea, the important thing is we keep exploiting the situation. value movements are now less supportive for daily trading. Long-term investment is good enough, it's a lucrative holiday.

I don't see why it should be an issue if btc doesn't move much every 24hour. That's why it's unpredictable. If people keep noticing every single twitch that btc makes then probably growth would take a longer time.
3291  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC WILL GO UNDER 1K$ on: June 18, 2018, 08:02:41 AM
$1000 is not good for the price because once they under it they have chances the price decrease more and down at hundreds dollars or become dead coin. So we need to avoid bitcoin to that price to maintain the high price. We need improvement right now to the price it's $6500 and I think we need to pump this coin to $7000 this day so buy more bitcoin snd hold it for few years to earn more money.

Makes sense. I think people will largely lose interest in it if it goes down to that level and probably the whales would be the only ones benefitting when they decide to pump the price up. Though you're right. It's close to being a dead coin if things go that bad :p
3292  Other / Archival / Re: Bitcoin and global warming on: June 17, 2018, 03:34:33 PM
The carbon dioxide pollution caused by BTC mining is almost negligible compared with the traditional industrial carbon dioxide production!
Compared to the exploitation of oil, gold mining, BTC mining is very environmentally friendly!
Yes i also cannot see any effect of BTC on global warming, there are a lot of other ways which are responsible for global warming and if it will not be control the situation will get more serious, but anyhow bitcoin or any other altcoin is not responsible for global warming, mining tool are contributing negligible amount of global warming.

Lol. Some people just enjoy throwing things in btc's way. I agree that those concerned about global warming have a lot more sources to look at than mining, which as you've said, is negligible at best. No considerable connection between the two.
3293  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price down and opportunities on: June 17, 2018, 03:24:25 PM
The ironies of BTC and altcoin investors/holders continues to increase as BTC is heading towards its "ALL TIME LOW" for 2018. While some are sad due to this downfall, there are many who are building their portfolios due to low and attractive crypto coin prices. Maybe the crypto market is fueling for yet another drastic bullish run as seen in 2017.
Quote
Remember - When somebody is selling, somebody is buying

Maybe. But a bull run as big as 2017'is unlikely to happen anymore since people now are more informed and aware of the market movement, hence there will be less fomo to fuel such a run. Though it's still likely that we'll end the year on a positive note.
3294  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: At what price will you panic and start selling coins? on: June 17, 2018, 02:14:29 PM
maybe at the price $ 2000 as I first got to know bitcoin for $ 2000. I would panic sell if bitcoin to $ 2000, because maybe then I would lose more than 50% of my assets. but it seems to be difficult bitcoin to reach that price if many people will continue to buy bitcoin.

Way too low already and if it goes that low, then probably there's no recovery for btc which I don't think will happen. Saving capital would probably be a good idea by selling before you go below your entry price but if you're already at a loss big time, I guess you'd have to go all in. At least that's how i'd see things personally.
3295  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will be the future of Bitcoin will rise again on: June 17, 2018, 02:11:17 PM
I'm not a good cryptocurrency analyst but i strongly believed that bitcoin will pump in due time because until people are keep on buying bitcoin and this is really a big help for a bitcoin to become successful again.

Actually even those who claim to be experts can't make any accurate predictions based on their analysis. It's been done several times before with chart reading and ta's but most fail to predict where btc will go. It's anyone's guess for himself.
3296  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy BTC half a year, loss 50%, how should I do on: June 17, 2018, 02:03:33 PM
In the encrypt investment, the time of investment is very important. Unfortunately, I began to enter the market in December last year, and my investment is worse. I have lost 80%. Because most of my buying is altcoin.

Well if you've entered just last december then even if you've bought btc, you're probably in a big loss right now. Why did you get in in the first place? If you believe in the project you've invested on, then holding until you break even shouldn't be an issue even if you have to wait for a longer time
3297  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does world cup Football 2018 not have any effect on crypto market. on: June 17, 2018, 10:01:33 AM
I hope during world cup football the price of bitcoin will increase. It has been started, but I see no effect. It is a big event of the world. Does it not bring any value to bitcoin.

Wth? Lol. Why would a sporting event have any connection to the value of bitcoin? Seriously, people are connecting everything to btc's price, from religious traditions to major sporting events.
3298  Economy / Speculation / Re: Oh My God, What Happened to Bitcoin? on: June 17, 2018, 09:55:52 AM
Seeing at hystory of BTC, it is characterized by cycle of rise and dump in price. Right now we are in a dump phase, with a price pretty high anyway. The 20000 reach in January isn't a reference value in my opinion, because its reached in the peak of an investment bubble.
Definitely right, this is the trend of bitcoin for so many years and yet a lot of people are still scared. Don't panic even you heard a lot of negative news about cryptocurrency because bitcoin will bounce and make people more happy again. This is not forever dump, a technology like this will deserve to be on top.

It's likely because bitcoin and crypto awareness swelled during that 2017 pump where you hear bitcoin all over the news when it was breaking ath on a consistent basis. Many people haven't experienced yet drastic declines in value that has been happening ever since.
3299  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Spot the Newbie Problems: Bitcoin or Not? on: June 17, 2018, 09:52:50 AM
Well they have to diversify their sources if they want to really get a good idea of bitcoin and crypto. Of course it can be a little confusing especially if you haven't been exposed to bitcoin yet prior to bch's release. Keep yourself informed and updated. The more you immerse yourself into it, the easier you'll avoid these simple confusions
3300  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will survive in "cashless society" ?? on: June 17, 2018, 09:47:58 AM
I agree with you, indeed since Bitcoin is a digital money and not something we hold literally like fiat money, it is indeed a money when cash will be removed. Every bitcoin and altcoin holders will be very wealthy that time.

Survive? More like thrive in a cashless society. Though I don't see that happening entirely, a cashless world would mean that people wold have to look for alternatives for doing transactions and all of us would agree here thatis even now, bitcoin is a great alternative to cash and fiat transactions

Bitcoin will survive in a cashless society because digital money is meant to be the Essenes of a cashless world. And this all what I'm waiting for a cashless world and hope it will be happen soon.
