3281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I have an idea about betting on bitcoin on: July 06, 2020, 08:58:16 AM
That sounds a bit more like Binary option trading.
I guess you could do that using a cryptocurrency smart contract feature or a well decentralized betting platform to avoid the situation you described.
You will need to find people to bet with though.
3282  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there any successful and relatively new casinos? on: July 06, 2020, 08:39:28 AM
Perhaps, with the new casinos entering the market, the competition will be harder since the old casinos already established their crucial characteristic which is their reputation, I am not saying they wouldn't stand a chance, but with the right marketing and good service they could provide, it will still be possible for these new casinos to compete.

In order for casino owners to get used to the new business and compete with those who have been on the market for a long time, you need to invest a lot of money in advertising, in encouraging new users. You can offer something new that other online casinos don't have. So far, I've only seen ways to invest a lot of money in advertising and offer welcome bonuses to new players.

The should probably create good/safe betting games that more bettors can win regularly, learn something productive from or both. I guess that will count as unique if nothing like that exist already in betting world. Most are probably still creating things that do not excit people well enough and that aren't easy to use/win
3283  Other / Off-topic / Re: Network is important on: July 06, 2020, 08:12:14 AM
I guess you mean the speed of networking via the internet helps improve communication across the world.
It has its advantages and disadvantages too. Just hope the worldwide communication could be done in better ways. It should only be good communications... not mixing good and bad. Remember the tree of knowledge of good and evil in book of Genesis. That's what led to humans losing a beautiful garden and getting driven away from GOD's presence. You can't mix good with evil and expect things to be ok.

We need a good and safe network. This "tree" is run by the wrong "entity".
3284  Other / Off-topic / Re: Interesting way to "blur" and store images on decentralized system on: July 05, 2020, 02:44:53 PM
Is it possible to solve this without the owner's secret keys? I really doubt it. Especially if the owner alone has the keys and data to rearrange or solve the puzzle.
But in certain cases, I think it should be possible to override (via consensus) an owner's power to keep a censored/immoral image visible on the decentralized network once the network rule is broken by the image owner. Users/moderators could override and blur the image rather than delete it.

3285  Other / Off-topic / Re: Interesting way to "blur" and store images on decentralized system on: July 05, 2020, 09:41:45 AM
If another person or other members of the network store their images on the "decentralized application", they are stored on the small four blocks inside the large block.
The Large Block holds the small and tiny blocks, partly  to make deriving a secret key formula easy for me.

* If you feel that your secret keys have been seen/discovered by another person, you can always move your image to another large block and get new secure keys
3286  Other / Off-topic / Interesting way to "blur" and store images on decentralized system on: July 05, 2020, 09:24:40 AM
If I have a scanned copy of ID card that I want to store on decentralized system without making it visible to anyone except me, how do I do this?

Why not use some sort of decentralized Image Application with unlimited large empty blocks (more like bank vaults) to store it.

Each large block is made of four small blocks and each small block has smaller or tiny blocks. The tiny blocks will need to be randomized to produce the blurring effect. (You could randomize the four small blocks too, but I choose not to for now)

You will store your scanned ID card  in one of the small four blocks in the large block then randomize the image like you would randomize & rearrange image on "Image/number block puzzle Games"... this is where the tiny blocks (pixels?) are randomized.
After this, a special kind of private keys are automatically generated for the image owner based on the number of the large block and small blocks (plus the tiny blocks) the image is stored in.
Note that the large blocks on the image application are unlimited, while the small blocks inside the large block are four, the tiny blocks could vary in numbers.

✳ So, the Large Blocks = Unlimited
The small blocks inside the large block = 4
The tiny blocks varies in numbers

Let's assume I store my image on block 77 of the unlimited Large Blocks,  2nd block out of the 4 small blocks in the large block and the image is broken (and randomized) into 1000 tiny blocks, we get something like this:
Blocks Image is stored on
Large Block = 77th block
Small block = 2nd block
Tiny block = image broken into 1000 blocks
= 77,2,1000
I guess you could derive your keys form this

Scrambled Image Block Puzzle Game

3287  Other / Off-topic / What is the justification for sanctioning innocent citizens of other countries? on: July 03, 2020, 09:45:54 AM
You claim to be helping the citizens to root out their evil leaders, yet trying to destroy them with immoral and evil sanctions.
Hope worldly politics don't get into crypto(it's gradually creeping in). No right thinking person will ever participate in such evil.
3288  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money and beat up inflation rate? Options please! on: July 03, 2020, 09:11:27 AM
Well, Bitcoin was designed to beat the inflationary problems. Deflation is part of its feature.

I would advice you put your money into things without centralized political/non-political interference or control.(It very important to avoid them esp long-term)  Building something like that would be challenging but possible.
You could basically build something that is very safe, morally legal and close to impossible to centralized. Once the centralization, lawlessness, secrecy etc are taken away, you could invest in it longterm.

I would begin to invest in good/safe things that I fully control and that will be highly needed during the time of serious crisis. (we are approaching the "this time"). Most likely use local Blockchains/decentralized tech to control the "good/safe things"
3289  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chess on Sports/eSports betting on: July 03, 2020, 08:28:38 AM
I love chess games, in fact, I downloaded it on my phone to give some room playing online while in quarantine.
For there will be a place where we can include this in online/sports betting it might get interesting for oldies to participate as well or those chess lovers will get into it.
I know how to play chess but I'm not a huge fan. My father is the one who's really into it. And like you, he also asked us to download a chess game on his phone. Every night, he'd play it.

If it'll be on sports betting, I think it'll be also patronized by those who like the game (in our country, it'll be the oldies most likely and those huge fans). However, if compared to other sports like basketball or football, or boxing, it's not that big.

I guess the matured minds or the elderly tend to prefer the board games like chess. I had a grandfather who just passed away that occasionally visit a particular place to play the game (probably chess or draft) with his friends. They just like it and even bet on them.
3290  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BPlay Gaming site Platform [Binance Collaboration] on: July 03, 2020, 08:18:32 AM
Looks too flashy. It's like something that could make people addicted. You don't make games based on chance or hard-to-win games too attractive in my opinion, otherwise you may be encouraging people to gamble and get addicted to them.
3291  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some college students in Alabama bet money to see who gets COVID19 first on: July 03, 2020, 08:08:24 AM
I guess I saw a headline  related to this yesterday and I thought they were arrested for organizing a party. Well, what can I say... They took a big risk and could be contributing to the spread of the disease. I wonder how they got the infected people to participate in this. Thought infected people should be in isolation.
3292  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PSA: Bitcoin Address Clipboard Malware on: July 02, 2020, 06:23:22 PM
I'm not sure if this is new. I think I have seen it discussed before on the forum. Maybe it's not dicussed often because it isn't a common problem.
I sometimes double check the addresses before hitting send button... that will probably help
3293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How is the future of projects with gold-based tokens? on: July 02, 2020, 05:03:33 PM
I guess the company planned to pay off the loan before the lenders discovered that some of the gold collateral are fake.

Well, people should be able to regularly and randomly verify the gold in gold-backed token situation, just as we are able to verify coins and transactions on Bitcoin Blockchain.
Gold-backed token devs could have a very secure, open/transparent, public, permissionless, censorship resistant gold reserve to be one of the ways to solve the problem if they really want people to trust in their gold-backed tokens.
Maybe good verifiers could randomly come in to the gold reserves and check things out with their special equipments. And once gold-backed token is sold, the buyer could go to the reserve center (or get someone to do it) with some numbers that match with his actual physical gold to verify it is actually there... probably kept seperately in a vault he/she controls with private keys that can be automatically assigned to buyers of digital gold?
3294  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is this comes under Harssasment ? on: July 02, 2020, 03:53:14 PM
If you see this happening the office, what will you conclude from this picture ?
Is this come under the harassment category?

What kind of harassment is that? Touching the opposite gender inappropriately due to lust? Or trying to get her off the mouse?
Well, it depends on intention of the one doing the touching . You could understand if it's intentional by what he tries to do with the mouse or see on the computer. If it's something really distracting on the computer or requires alot of attention, I might consider him especially if he apologizes. I will probably try to know the kind of person he is, whether he has history of behaving inappropriate or whether he is on drugs or drunk.

If he is just taking her hand off the mouse, it also depends on why he's doing that. Perhaps it's for good reason, and with her consent? She's clearly pushing his hand away... which probably means he isn't doing that with her consent
3295  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do we really know how many bitcoins does satoshi have? on: July 02, 2020, 10:50:40 AM
We don't know how many coins Satoshi mined. There have been educated guesses, but there is no definitive proof.

The number of 1 million coins that you often see attributed to Satoshi is based on the "Patoshi pattern". In simple terms, there are around 22 thousand early mined blocks which follow a specific pattern of incrementing their ExtraNonce field, and it is thought that these blocks were all mined by a single entity, which could only be Satoshi. For an in depth look at this argument, see the following blog post: https://bitslog.com/2019/04/16/the-return-of-the-deniers-and-the-revenge-of-patoshi/

Ofcourse. Unfortunately the 1 million btc theory may have been regarded as fact by many or made to sound like fact by some.
I think it should always be seen as mere speculation or theory until something hard-to-contest is presented as proof... even at that, they don't just become true until proven to be really true.
3296  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think players can play properly against a recovered Covid-19 opponent? on: July 02, 2020, 09:12:28 AM
You hope to use this for match predictions and betting? Interesting...
Well, it depends on how aware they are about disease spreading in leagues, and how close they are to the leagues.
It could affect their performances and how they play. But I guess if players are too focus on the games, they will often forget that fellow players they are in close contact with were infected... unless they have mastered and learned to avoid or be careful with such players.
3297  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cock Fight on: July 02, 2020, 08:42:34 AM
This shouldn't be allowed anywhere in the first place. The animals most likely consider it as real fight... which makes things look like you(humans) are encouraging them to fight and hate themselves, probably against their will.
They usually avoid conflicts amongst themselves otherwise we will be seeing cocks fighting on their own every time/day.

We humans should actually be helping them live in peace and not fighting themselves
3298  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🦢 GooseBet.io 🦢 The Newest iGaming Dividend Casino With BTC, ETH, TRX and USDT on: July 02, 2020, 08:28:26 AM
Is the dividend daily/regularly or periodically? Are they used for more betting or you can always withdraw your earnings? I wonder how you'll be able to sustain it though, assuming it's daily/regular (and reasonable amount)... Even periodically can still be challenging.

It's daily starting at 15% of the pool per day and then reducing 0.2% each day until it reaches 3% where it will remain.

15% of the pool perday for really how long? I mean when is it going to stop offering and giving out the 15%? I guess that should be clear to enable me judge and see if it's worth it. Not really investing, just want review and give my opinion, maybe others will find it useful.
3299  Other / Off-topic / Re: Suggest for everyone.. on: July 02, 2020, 08:08:38 AM
Not just donating some food and money but also redirecting your efforts toward the crisis and helping to make it less worse than it should be.
The shutdown worsen the situation where people have them. Things wouldn't have been worst where they currently are if the kind of shutdown wasn't imposed.
Everyone should be working and not forced to stay idle. The poor people where I live are always working... so it's usually a bit hard to find whom to give money and food if they are not asking you for help.. I encounter those who ask for help usually on the internet... And it's abit challenging to know if they really need it or just lying. I think what people whereever they are need more now is spiritual help(the Truth ) and freedom to work.
3300  Other / Off-topic / Re: Weed or cigarettes on: July 01, 2020, 04:00:27 PM
Obviously i choose the weed  it has more health benefits than cigarettes. Cigarettes can cause lots of health issues that can cause death.

I totally agree with you. I take weed occasionally and hopefully it gets legalized anytime soon here in our country.  it really helps specially when im stressed out with work!

Not legalized in your country and you take it? How is it possible?
Well, I am not sure if smoking it is good idea for many. It could make your mind vulnerable to "evil forces" around you if you are not protected... especially if taken excessively or if abused

The plant should probably be meant for certain kind of people, but I am not sure it should be smoked.
