Sebastian please try not to quote Silverspoon/notlambchop/Crumbs. Most of us have him on ignore and would appreciate not seeing his verbal diarrhea.
@Chef Ramsay, I don't think it's realistic for havelock to reimburse investors. Afaik they don't have any obligation to do so, and I really doubt they could even if they tried. (probably don't even have enough btc to reimburse 1/10th of amhash holders)
Real/regulated exchanges like the NYSE don't reimburse investors when a scam listed on their exchange collapses, so why would havelock?
What I am saying is that word is going around that heretofore HL had an impeccable reputation in terms of investors feeling safe in investing in securities or whatever you want to call them on their hosting playground. I would've imagined they'd like to keep their pristine reputation but now that is shot at the moment. I'm not saying obligated but having the vested self interest in keeping a clean playing field. Not saying that people are going to stop looking into their hosted securities but things are just flat out different now. Investors are naturally going to feel for other investors that got scammed and part of the reason this happened was because AmHash was paying a fee to operate their plans so now, by default, HL is liable in the minds of interested parties. As I said, either HL set aside a portion of every fee they collected for a rainy day like now or do more investigative motions before hand to make sure they'd have a way to get back at any one of their hosted securities should they have gone rogue. The other solution, charge more for certain levels that these securities could operate under (more shares sold/higher income levels what have you) to keep a better lid on things spiraling out of control. It's not a perfect solution but when you're trying (supposedly) to maintain a top shelf trusting status in such an unregulated market, you need to employ your own stringent standards to keep the laundry clean.

My impression is that the heavy bulls got tired of trying to fly past 300 repeatedly so they're basically in an F it position. Basically, the time isn't right for any bigger moves to happen so we might just have to let it burn for a while and let the suffering happen all over again until the selling pressure goes full panic. Perhaps after another gut-wrenching downturn the market could be ripe for a more salient headups move all the while the big dogs are salivating for more discounted coins as part of the process. If that's what must happen, I'm getting my share.

|
From what I've heard elsewhere from other fellow long term bulls and evidenced by the recent tries to breakout above 300, it seems that there may need to be another severe flushout that could go to the low 100s and perhaps below before any sort of epic turn around. I'm not usually one to speak of such things and lord knows I could be wrong but this could be one of those final blood baths to finally signal a final reversal.

So, basically what you're saying is that there wasn't enough bearish coin holders flushed out yet and/or the bulls don't think any more pumps at this current stage will do any good?
As long as you research other's coins and thoughts you stay poor. Yeah, I was merely asking from a spectator's standpoint. I hold and do very little trading but was just trying to stoke another opinion into the works. The ups and downs have never really bothered me, I had just accumulated a certain amount of coins I wanted for the long haul and am comfortable with my current position. Of course, I keep adding occasionally in this market.

Hello LambTroll. And Goodbye! Ignore button: **CLICK** (applies extra pressure) ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) You'd think lambcrotch would make a new account with a normal name for a change and try to blend in for a few months before going all batshit but apparently that's not part of their DNA. I mean, coming out all stupid out of the gate just gets you ignored, presto.

Watch out...Bitcoin just got serioushttp://www.cnbc.com/id/102511141 It was hard to go through 2014 without hearing about a bitcoin company going bankrupt, or the alleged "father" of the digital currency being involved in a car chase—but the market might have just got slightly more professional.
A Germany company has launched a platform where bitcoin users can track transactions from all of their wallets in one place, to help users of the cryptocurrency file tax reports. yes but only if you are a "mainsteam-sheep" you would care about that kind of news ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Aren't these the people we need to reach the mainstream? ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Some people aren't concerned about those outside of their informed circle or plethora of ideologues. This is a big problem going forward to add more interested pockets to this market. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

This was already posted in this section 3 hours ago. Maybe it would be a good idea check if the article is posted to avoid spamming the board.
It's probably not that healthy to blame someone for a post considering they're likely generating that post from a foreign mention. But, now that you've mentioned it, the point is well taken.

Ok, now we're in the way back machine so I don't even know what to say at this point. Bitcoin is so strong that throwbacks have to know better by now on this. K thanks

I don't have much interest in college basketball (NCAA) nor this whole tournament and all the hoopla. It's nice to see BTC outfits scoring bids on the subject but I see no reason yet for the masses or those that care about such sporting events to give a flip about bitcoin as a means to bet or otherwise here.

Rand Paul's Disruptive SXSW Adventure... In choosing Austin, known as the Silicon Hills, Paul is hoping to tap into the city's tech "brainpower" to give the possible 2016 presidential hopeful an edge against Democrats that have trounced his party on the technology front in previous elections. Austin is also the home base of Vincent Harris, the digital strategist Paul poached from Texas Senator Ted Cruz's network. Harris spent the whirlwind first weekend of SXSW alternating between updates on Paul's visit and updates on the general election in Israel, where he'd traveled to advice Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's Likud. "I think we've lagged and that's part of trying to start so early," Paul told Bloomberg Politics in a freight elevator that he used to escape fans awaiting him. "I would say President Obama's team exceeded in the last two elections. I think we have an uphill battle, but starting this early I think we have a great chance." Austin is the destination in an annual music and technology pilgrimage that tens of thousands of people make from around the world to hear live music, watch up and coming films, and learn about the next tech innovation. The festival has become a must-be place for tech entrepreneurs are seeking venture capital. It's also a place for emerging artists to make a name for themselves. Paul was the only potential 2016 presidential candidate who made the trip. ... More... http://www.bloomberg.com/politics/articles/2015-03-16/rand-paul-s-disruptive-sxsw-adventure

RUSSIA: NORTH KOREAN LEADER TO VISIT MOSCOW FOR VICTORY DAYMOSCOW (AP) -- The leader of North Korea is among 26 world leaders who have accepted invitations to Moscow to take part in celebrations marking the 70th anniversary of the Soviet Union's victory over Nazi Germany, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said Tuesday. North Korea hasn't officially commented. It would be Kim Jong Un's first foreign trip since taking power three years ago.The highlight of the May 9 celebrations will be a military parade on the Red Square overseen by President Vladimir Putin, an annual event that will be expanded this year to include 15,000 troops, cadets and Cossacks, according to Russia's defense minister. Several Western leaders have snubbed invitations to the military parade because of Russia's role in the Ukraine conflict. But Lavrov said that some European leaders were still expected to come, including those from Slovakia, Norway, Greece and several Balkan nations. More... http://customwire.ap.org/dynamic/stories/E/EU_RUSSIA_VICTORY_DAY?SITE=AP&SECTION=HOME&TEMPLATE=DEFAULT&CTIME=2015-03-17-10-29-35I wonder what Kimmy is poised to get out of Russia at this point? This is his first quest outside of the shitland so I'm very interested in this push.

Democrats in early-primary states ask: Where's Hillary? In Iowa, Democrats want to see Hillary Rodham Clinton mingling in their neighborhood coffee shops, answering their questions and sharing laughs. In New Hampshire, they expect her on their living-room couches, listening to their tales of struggle. In South Carolina, they’re eager to hold hands with her and pray together. And in each of the early presidential primary and caucus states, Democratic activists are asking the same question: Where is Hillary? As Clinton slow-walks her way into the 2016 presidential race, many of the Democratic front-runner’s most active supporters are concerned that she’s not yet doing the kind of face-to-face politicking that is well underway by a cast of a dozen or more likely Republican candidates. Clinton’s absence has stoked unease among her impatient supporters, who also worry about her reputation as someone uncomfortable with the nitty-gritty of retail campaigning. Rand Paul targets young voters with Austin tech office![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fi60.tinypic.com%2F59veo6.jpg&t=663&c=LD1IOzOEkEANzg) Sen. Rand Paul opened a tech office Monday in Austin, in yet another push by the presidential hopeful to reach out to constituencies that aren’t typical for Republicans. A day after courting young voters at the SXSW festival, the Kentucky senator opened an office at the Capital Factory — an incubator for tech startups in downtown Austin. Paul’s vision is for his Austin office to be a place for digital engagement and product innovation. “I was glad to be in Austin and open my first tech office today,” Paul said. “Austin is filled with the brightest minds in the tech community and should I decide to run, it will be a very valuable part of any campaign. This past weekend in Austin allowed me to meet some of the top tech entrepreneurs from across the nation, and many seemed very receptive to a liberty minded message.” Paul has made no secret of trying to win the hearts — and votes — of millennials, an increasingly sought-after group in politics. He’s been courting tech entrepreneurs such as Peter Thiel of PayPal and Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook, and he plans to open an office in the San Francisco Bay Area. I also highly recommend the youtube doc of "The Power of Nightmares" which kinda timelines and shows the background info showing the Middle East rise of radical Islam. It's quite a non-exciting but very informational doc and I hope the interested viewers can just get themselves through the hr long footage when you have some spare time, bookmark it. It's been quite a while since I viewed it and I wish I could sell it further and offer more thorough insight into the contents. But, the first five minutes will give you the template. I'm telling ya, the historical footage and info gathering and showing is what makes this second to none if this is of interest to ya and want to see the backdrop of the original US involvement over there that the neocons would not want you to see.

Former US Vice President Dick Cheney doesn't mince words when it comes to President Barack Obama. In a new interview for the April issue of Playboy, Cheney repeatedly tore into Obama on a wide array of issues, including the racially charged riots in Ferguson, Missouri, and foreign policy. "I look at Barack Obama and I see the worst president of my lifetime, without question," Cheney told journalist James Rosen. "I used to have significant criticism of Jimmy Carter, but compared to Barack Obama and the damage he is doing to the nation—it’s a tragedy." More... http://www.businessinsider.com/dick-cheney-just-accused-obama-of-playing-the-race-card--in-a-playboy-interview-2015-3First off, Cheney should not be talked about in Playboy mag as that would be horrible for sales, you'd think - could be wrong. 2ndly, Cheney blaming Obama of going race cardy shows that Dick has little to no substance.

Netanyahu hails ‘a great victory for our people,’ though Herzog in no hurry to concedePM promises to build ‘national camp’ coalition as quickly as possible; Zionist Union not admitting defeat; TV exit polls show Likud well-placed to build coalition; 71.8% turnout highest since 1999TV exit polls Tuesday night showed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Likud set to retain the Israeli leadership at the end of a bitter election campaign. Netanyahu claimed victory early Wednesday morning, though his rival Isaac Herzog did not concede defeat. Polling stations opened at 7 a.m. on Tuesday and Israeli citizens headed for the ballots to vote for Israel’s 20th Knesset. Polls from the end of last week had left options open for a tight race. The TV exit polls were published at 10 p.m., as polling stations closed, after which official results began to roll in. The official final results won’t be publicized until Thursday. Netanyahu, vying for the role for his fourth time (third consecutively), had made a last-ditch attempt over the past days to win back voters mainly from the right-wing bloc, vowing Monday night to block a Palestinian state should he remain in office. More... http://www.timesofisrael.com/ballot-stations-open-as-israelis-choose-new-leadership/All I've heard is that it's likely that Obama and co has dealt part of their hand in this table's election so I'm biased at this point. Tho, I'm not a big Bibi fan nor the republican bunch that fauns over him and uses Israel as a weight over evangelical conservatives' heads for foreign policy purposes.

Luc- what happened to your confident assessment that it will hit at least 310-400 or whatever.
Rise was too slow, too low volume. Bearish divergence appeared earlier than price went to safe zone. So, basically what you're saying is that there wasn't enough bearish coin holders flushed out yet and/or the bulls don't think any more pumps at this current stage will do any good?

I'd personally couldn't have fiat in 50 bitcoins as i would see mysels checking the charts multiple times a day and dump wouldn't let me sleep for sure.
Well, I'm sure most of us that have been through the entirety of the last bear market can manage to deal with most things after that. The average person can't handle such a situation.

From my perspective, if you're gonna collect monthly fees and host companies on your trusted platform, in order to maintain that trust in situations like this is to have insurance incorporated into the business payment model. Either that, or do a more thorough background checking format that ensures you don't have epic scam artists putting their bellies up to your bar.

EPA should be disbanded. It’s not authorized under the constitution for the federal government to regulate the environment.
Amen to that! The problem is that we give them an inch and they take a mile, that's how audacious these bureaucrats are especially the psychotic green freaks in the EPA and its backbone of environmental lobbying misfit orgs by and large. Watch their step on this one cause this is one of those times where the otherwise sleeping giant is bound to get irritated by. Getting in the way of American meat eaters and party time is bad mojo but perhaps we need more of this.
