3301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Cryptocurrencies Change the View of the Game Industry in the Future on: September 10, 2022, 04:19:39 AM
Dunno about p2e but nfts being used in gaming industry appears to give gaming items and their ownership new direction. Curious to see where this leads.
3302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too good to be true? on: September 10, 2022, 04:17:02 AM
Didn't invest, but did several bounties and being with it since start makes you keep up with price movements, several of them 70x and more.

Pretty late but as title says: https://colodax.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/47001229074-ganesh-chaturthi-offer

Colodax will fill tds on seller's behalf.

Colodax First impressions — been using them since then.
Just saw this and yes you are very late as Ganesh chaturthi is already over. I did check the article, it doesn't mention any particular ending date on it. I am assuming they might be still running it after the festival has ended. Those who want to utilize this opportunity please do check with their support before selling your crypto assets on their platform.

When you see insane predictions, it's usually time to sell. Yes, greed does blind us often despite same pattern repeating.
3305  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are candlestick patterns overrated? on: September 09, 2022, 03:06:25 AM
You should stick to what works for you, and if you don't know if it works or not - try it first rather than basing on other people, you don't know their whole story anyway.

Suppose your country has banned crypto completely.

You could buy ecommerce [1]giftcards from sites like bitrefill ($1k/month without account and there are some other sites too which I have no personal experience of). Ofc they have some premium and if you were to sell these gift cards you would get 5-10% lower but could be helpful strategy in dire need.

You can always purchase basic necessities using these or purchase items online and resell them.

I like that it doesn't count post 'edited' if you edit just after posting the comment/topic.

In what way do you appreciate it?
Dunno how to answer that, being appreciative means you like something, I guess that's enough.

I will say right now, it's simplicity and access.

Last Saturday, my main machine broke up so I have to bring it to have it fix. So I have to pull out my old laptop as the back up. I set up up with LinuxMint. This is a 10 year old Samsung 10.1 inch netbook. It still has the Windows 7 and Atom Inside sticker, hehehe. It connected to my wifi but the power is just like 53% connected. And yet it was enough for me with this old machine and wifi to connect to this community and browse and post with just minimal laggings because the design is so lightweight.

Definitely, I remember surfing this forum on Java Nokia phone back in the day. It was doable without much hiccups.

What about you?

I like that many people here get paid to participate.  What other website can you make a post from the toilet and earn a few dollars?  It's a shame that the quality of content isn't taken into account in these payout structures, but it's still a cool thing.  Granted, it could be improved upon a great deal and benefit more users if it were managed by the forum, but it's still the reason a majority of posts are made here and that keeps things humming along as the information base continues to grow and gives users a chance to support projects and products here by purchasing them with funds from forum participation.

Bitcointalk is literally known for that, I wouldn't call it 'minor thing'.
3310  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is going to a the bitcoin conference worth it? on: September 07, 2022, 10:47:17 AM
Imho these conferences just brainwash you, whatever you need is available on Internet.
Manipulative content also exist on internet though.

True, but you have more freedom when surfing Internet than around people, at least that's what I feel anyway.

It could be available on other forums too, but I came across it first time in here.

3314  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance to remove USDC as a tradable asset. on: September 06, 2022, 04:05:06 AM
It's just trading pair change, you can always convert back to usdc from busd, it's not that bad honestly. This is good idea to lessen the amount of trading pairs as well.
3315  Other / Meta / Re: What type of posts attract merit? on: September 06, 2022, 03:49:13 AM
Don't bother, post whatever you yourself are interested in, there is audience for everything. If you really know what you are posting about, it won't count as spamming.
3316  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How will you handle this case on: September 05, 2022, 02:41:57 AM
Never see that 'brother' ever again, never share pvk, seed phrase no matter how close. All relations are fragile.
3317  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do I use Bitcoin in a country that it is banned? on: September 05, 2022, 02:38:53 AM
Non custodial wallets, and if somehow governments ban it, use vpn or something. Regarding accumulating it, i don't recommend it to purchase it as your details might surface, better earn through freelance work like bounties, posting on sites like hive.blog - you could relatively go unknown this way.
3318  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [List] Instant exchanges on: September 04, 2022, 10:10:40 AM
I've been using simpleswap since i came across it 2 years ago on hive blog post, it works fine. Had issue couple times, support resolved them promptly. Amounts were usually around $300, you may get scammed if you are very rich idk Tongue
3319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Play2Mint & Play2Earn Blockchain Games on: September 04, 2022, 09:58:44 AM
I play dcity (https://dcity.io) and dcrops (https://dcrops.com) on hive blockchain - dcity is like 3 year old and dcrops 1 year and they recently released beta edition.
3320  Other / Meta / Re: Post funny/clever usernames here on: September 03, 2022, 01:29:52 PM
There was this user named "Hard Facts"; it's funny not because of the username per se, but because his username is a 100% opposite of his posts. His name was Hard Facts but his posts were crappy opinions.
Curious to know meaning behind your username, i usually think about Mortal Kombat 4 whenever come across your name.
In cars, it means "make 4", so the fourth generation. Google shows the Volkswagen Golf Mk4 as first option, but I've seen "mk2" and higher used on other car brands too.
So maybe it's his fourth reincarnation Cheesy

Well, I guess it depends on individual what they make out of these names  Tongue
