3301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To All Bounty hunters on: March 05, 2020, 09:52:16 PM
Don't expect 2017 to be back again for bounty projects because now a days all the ICO projects are shit and very less likely to be successful which means you are wasting a lot of your times with no gain almost.

Shit is everywhere, there is little to be done about it. I don’t think that someone from Bounty Hunter really hopes for a return of 2017. To rely on this would be the height of naivety.
The market has changed, the approach to projects, too. If earlier we made money on emptiness, today such a trick will not work.
Today, projects cost as much as they should cost in a similar market, given that their value in one way or another tends to zero.

you mean creating a bounty is now expensive ? i dont think so .  why expensive when they are only paying thier own tokens  , they are still the same but only the measure success have changed alot . what can a bounty hunter do if he dont have other source of income  ? he will still relly , keep applying and hoping that one day he can catch a big fish   .  ive been there before   and before ive been also experiencing a hard time to get a good bounty  but atleast i can still earn little by little  .  patience is still the key  .
3302  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would You Rent A Car With Bitcoin? on: March 05, 2020, 10:10:04 AM
Hi guys, I'm working in the travel industry and recently found some global online travel agencies such as EasyRentCars start getting into crypto payments. I wonder how many crypto owners would be more interesting to purchase the service if the company accepts cryptocurrency? Would that be an effective feature?
i have been keeping my Bitcoin for quite sometimes so i think i will pass using my Bitcoin just to pay a car when i can use my Fiat or credit card to pay for this?and Halving can happen couple of months from now and also market will Bull after that so i will just use my cards and pay after halving maybe to maximize my profit and prevent advance spending of my crypto.

for a btc holder they are buying btc for investing purpose only and not for spending   . if there are services that they like they can just use their cards or money but to some that buys btc for payment purpose because they want something that is revolutionary , they prolly try every service that accepts btc including on what we have here  .  for me  , i can say im hybrid investor  , seller  . i can sell my btc anytime if cash isnt available and i also love to rent a car so this service will fit me the most but the sad part is that there isnt service that accept btc at the moment on my place  , maybe in the future  .
3303  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think, India lifting the ban on cryptocurrencies will impact BTC Price? on: March 05, 2020, 09:20:27 AM
yes of course . this is a positive news related to crypto so yes itl have a good impact as well on the price of btc  .

you didnt provide extra info , im just curious if what are the reason of the ban and if what are the dates the ban have started and ended.  right now i can see that the price of btc is now starting to recover again , it could be that the lifting of ban start to taked effect .

hmm thats nice. also  id be more happier if the issue on the corona virus will be solved because it contradicts on the halving event too .
3304  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling a threat or fun? on: March 05, 2020, 08:41:06 AM
gambling is a threat for people that doesn't have self-control, its fun for the people that only play to consume free time. Just always gamble what you can afford to lose, No one wins the house.

It is not just a threat for them.

There are a lot of threats that gambling can do even to people who play it for fun. As long as they are gambling, it is a threat to them. No one knows what will happen but they can still end addicted to gambling.
It is true, even if you play only for fun, you will still getting addicted.
It is only a matter of time when you get addicted. But all gamblers will be the same in the end. Gambling is a threat due to its psychological effect it gives to a person, it makes a gambler to play deeper even how hard he tries to control himself.

Not all of them though.

We can't really say that all of the people that are gambling will be addicted to gambling. It is a threat to them since the possibility of them getting addicted to gambling is there as long as they are gambling. I know a lot of people that are gambling and I can say that there is a chance that they will not be addicted but it will not be the same to all of us .
It simply is related to self-control. Those who have control over their greed and they know what amount of money actually they can spend on gambling are the ones who enjoy playing this game. Those who have sole objective of gambling to make money are the ones who often get addicted and frustrated.
Nobody wants to lose money and as you said, we will feel frustrated if we don’t have money to gamble and recover losses. After losing a bet, people usually tend to gamble more with an urge of recovering losses whereas this actually further worsens the situation. Simply gamble for a limited time to avoid all this mess.

thats a good idea . setting a time for playing a gambling can limit us for getting addicted . no matter what amount you lost or win but as soon as your time limit expires you should quit on that asap . this strat is also used by pro gamblers ,pro gamblers that i see on youtube and on twitch.  see ? if pro gamblers can limit thier selves then why cannot we ? we that are only regular gamblers  . i know its hard to stop once we win or loose but we cant have both  . on gambling we can only pick one side so that we can stop
3305  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Skill based gambling platforms - does anyone know? on: March 05, 2020, 08:02:08 AM
Hi all,

I am looking for skill based gambling platforms that accepts cryptocurrency. For example, 8 ball pool, clash royale, PUBG or anything similar to it. I am not looking for aportsbook or sportsbetting kind of website!

Please let me know if there's any such website available for skill based gamers!

Thanks in advance!
Interesting all I can think is an online game where in before you start a game you need to put a bet and you'll earn 2x if you win. As an example playing Dota 2 or CS-GO or maybe other online games and placing a bet at the start of the game (In cryptocurrency of course) I think this would be a good Idea for a skill based gambling.

I'll watch this thread since I do like as well to know if there's some services or platforms that offers this kind of gambling game and it would be really exciting and addicting at the same time.
you are reffering to sportsbetting/sportsbookies  but the guy already said that he isnt looking for a sportsbet sites  . this actually contradicts his genre choice because the game he mention are all related or can only be found on a sportsbetting site .

in the case of dota 2 or on the games that are being played by other players , you arent basing on your skills but you are basing on the skill of other players to be able to win except from those games that your the one that controls. .
3306  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Age restriction in gambling on: March 05, 2020, 07:04:27 AM
As I have also tried to see if this is real or not, I research about it and yes at the age of 5, they are legally allowed to gamble.
It's hard to think whether the kids know what they are doing or where they get the money to play. But I think they should be more strict when it comes to the legal age of allowed gamblers since it is not proper for kids to grow in gambling.
Well,  in my reaserch Malawi is underdevelop country thats why they are no legal papers probihited those child to play gambling.
https://www.borgenmagazine.com/why-is-malawi-poor/

And also it's true that they allowing child age 5 years old to play gambling. And also its surprised me that Tunisia and Algeria don't have regulation in age.

i didnt know if i will be happy with that or not because i cant totally say that gambling is bad but some says its bad that why they provide age restriction limit  .

id say not because i think its better if the younger the person will engage on gambling activities so that when he is on the right age he will now be profesional and he will now know the do's and dont's on gambling.   others say its bad because i think they the person can be addicted on an early age and he will forgot his responsibilities as a young person like schooling and stuffs like that . guidance of the older will be needed to patch these thing up
3307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where to bet on U.S. politics with crypto? on: March 05, 2020, 06:33:46 AM
Politics betting is not a bet which every gambler likes to play and in fact most of gamblers don’t.

That isn't true mate. If you will look into gambling as a whole, upcoming politics event is always on-trend in the gambling world. Big money always circulates in fiat gambling as this event is not a bet gamblers can see regularly. I'm not just sure though if, in terms of crypto-betting, the same status also happened but I'm sure it is. Crypto sports betting sites will not include political betting on their betting list if it isn't yielding a good number of bets.

As for recap, these are the sites that mentioned here by our co-fellow members that have an open betting for politics-related events;

sportsbet.io
onehash.com (mutual betting)
fairlay.com
1xbit.com (dyor - its a must)
Betmoose.com (parimutual / fixed odds betting)
stake.com

It really opens up my eyes. I didn't expect that there is a gamble like this. Although I'm not really familiar about this, I usually think if this is even possible. Thank for the recommendation and will try to see later if they will be available in the coming elections.

you must be new here on gambling because you still didnt know that this kind of betting exists  . there are even odder than this  . i think almost everthing ( fighting , sports , etc, )  all kinds of stuff are applicable for gambling or placing a bet  . you can do them locally with your friends if ever there are no platforms that support it yet  . anyway , politics betting is hard imo compare to common gambling based on what i witness  because the fight here  is based on the money and on the popularity of the contender  but the results are verry unpredictable
3308  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If we have great ability, is capital from bank loans safe for us to use trade? on: March 04, 2020, 08:00:29 PM
i think i already heard a simillar to this but it was gambling related . the guy also ask that he will gamble a loan money from a friend because he had a skill  .  not sure if you are related to it   ? and this time you use the word trade and banks    .  trading is less riskier than on gambling but the said amount on the op is still huge imo   .  better if you lower it and see if how things go   ,  on trading you can possibly earn if you have an ability or skill  but you cant say that it is safe  . safe only means that zero risk  .
3309  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Casino Affiliates - starting point on: March 04, 2020, 07:32:51 PM
The affiliates program is a great marketing strategy because this way the customers are part of the marketing area bringing new customers. But at the same time, this could be risky because the high rollers could bring some real profit to the referrals.

I have seen in the past people making serious money with the affiliate system. We are talking about something like 1BTC profit each month.

risky on the side of the owner  ? but why ? when the purpose on why they do it is to have more costumers  . having alot of customers is not risky but its the best part for a gambling business because owners are still sure that they can win most of the time  . its also hard to gather people using referal   . i know someone before that create his own account and refer himself , just to increase his earning but those earning are still useless because he is a degen anyway  . those earnings will still comeback on the gambling site  that his playing with
3310  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Not Just for Online but also IRL Gambling on: March 04, 2020, 06:54:51 PM
by the way those games on fb are like gambling and you also need to depo or play with crypto or real money  ?

because i mainly see only games that dont involved real money on fb  and its okay because you dont loose anything on their game  . you can only call it a scam if you depo real money and didnt experience to win but it should be easily noticeable the longer you play  and why would you still continue to burn money  ?  not all gambling are scam but its just hard to earn on them  .
3311  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Charts Are Garbage on: March 04, 2020, 05:57:08 PM
in what way you read your stock analysis ? via charts too or candle based ?   . i think stocks is like a crypto too because both of them rely on other factors  .  you think its not candle based but many people are still making graphs and based thier moves on it   .

it does not suck too much because those tools are helpful somehow but obviuosly not 100 percent accurate because if it is then all traders are rich now   .  they are only annoying because they are everywhere , your annoyed if your not a fan of them
3312  Economy / Speculation / Re: WHEN we should sell BTC after halving as a LONG-TERM invest? on: March 04, 2020, 04:20:38 PM

the main question also remains that which price is best to sell btc after halving!

This question is very subjective, some investors will sell a small portion of their Bitcoin just to recover the initial investment, while some people will keep on holding their shares in the hope that Bitcoin will reach 6 digits and they are willing to take the risk of waiting, each investors have their patience when to sell their Bitcoin.

so true .  this is prolly the strat of a common btc investor   .  while to some , they could have other strat too  . for me , im not really a long term goer but im still excited to see if what halving can do in the price of btc  .

i sell btc when i need it the most but let say if i will not be really needing it , i will wait for more better oppurtinites  . i assume that after halving the price is still high , so id say i will be selling my coins during those times because im expecting a dump sooner or later
3313  Economy / Economics / Re: Can corona virus or any other epidemic disease can collapse Banking? on: March 04, 2020, 03:00:47 PM
Any extreme viruses can affect the whole nation not just the banking industry and maybe a panic will spread out around the world, that can result to a major recession and financial crisis. We are suffering now because of Covid19 and I don’t want to hear more people suffering from this, i hope to find the cure and heal the people and make the market bounce back to the normal.

yeah we all are wishing for that , the recovery of all but right now i still see that the virus still continues to spread slowly on other countries including now on ours  . this trend can affect the banking system especially on those country where virus is strong  but people doesnt have a choice but to continue living  , they still work but only they are wearing mask and other apparatus for protection   . we are now on the future and people already survived harder crisis on the past so as this crises that we currently have now

People can also do online payments with Bitcoin to avoid handling physical cash and thus avoiding infection. It can also prevent people from being infected from a host of other viruses and bacteria that can survive for days on physical coins and notes.

It is a wise action to atleast lessen contact to other people to prevent spreading of the virus. Because the truth is, it is only applicable in the city or in a limited place. In a province, there are no stores that has online payment or especially bitcoin and in the city there are still some stores who are not accepting online payment.

depends on the country  . there are country that ban btc and cryptos were you cannot totally use or have access to them but if a country allow cryptos  , you can alway find a store that accept cryptos wether your living on a province or on a city .

i am living on a province now  but there are store here that are crypto friendly   but i prefer to transact online because of the virus scare now  . on our place people are also scare to go out and people are now wearing masks just to avoid possible infection   .
3315  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Supreme Court of India finally uplifts the ban on Cryptocurrencies in India on: March 04, 2020, 10:10:16 AM
if im not mistaken i think i already heard this news before on this forum .  before i see a news about india lifting ban but now i see this post again and its new. not sure if they re ban crypto again for the second time but that is not important anymore and i dont want to waste time anymore finding the reason of the second ban but what is important is that india is back on business again .

lets just hope tho that they will not going to ban crypto for another time because that is pretty anoying and can bring lots of hassel as well as impact on the market .
3316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: For those who wears a signature of gamble service campaigns on: March 04, 2020, 09:05:13 AM

it does not also means that you stop trying once you loose once or once you feel unlucky for a few times because that is actually how gambling works

I Agree with you! But I lose every time, which makes me feel unlucky.
It's also true that luck doesn't always come along, But I have a different level of badluck. Believe it

oh really brad ? ok i believed you now.  if that is what you observed you better stop playing gambling now and find another hobby to earn or to get entertained , there are many activities out there . like what you experience  before on gambling ,  you should also know if the new hobby you tried is worth it or not , so that you can easily moved on to the other . you better try skill based activities too because on skill based activities you can always improve your skills as long as your dedicated not unlike to luck based activities where you cant do anything with it in order to improve it .
3317  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: For those who wears a signature of gamble service campaigns on: March 04, 2020, 08:24:56 AM
It is everyone's wish whether anyone plays or not. I myself have lost by playing, only one who has good luck can play. Everyone can try luck, if luck works, then keep going(playing)

it does not also means that you stop trying once you loose once or once you feel unlucky for a few times because that is actually how gambling works , owner do also wanted to earn because if you will only win then no gambling site will  last a long time . not all those who are lucky can only play gambling but gambling is for all  . when your lucky it does not also mean that your going to be lucky the rest of your gambling session but you must also know when to stop and withdrew because the longer you play the more the gambling site becomes rigged
3318  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: About Compulsive gambling. on: March 04, 2020, 07:21:51 AM
According to some articles that I've read, almost 80% of the people are suffering from gambling addiction.
I disagree. It depends on the person in charge for you as how well, especially their methods, in handling such cases. It would be hard at first of course and some may say that they listened but can't stop doing the same thing over and over again. I think most seek professional help in their own volition because they had become aware that their addiction had led to unwanted events taking place in their lives. All I can say is that treating addiction is a process.
Gambling addiction is a psychological illness in which recovery depends primarily on the patient himself. If he is not aware of his illness and does not want to get rid of it, then no matter how good a doctor treats him, he will not be able to recover. He will always break down and run to the casino again and again.
Agree, sometimes you're not aware about your illness and will discover it once you take the effect of your actions or maybe there are other things that gets affected. So it may take a lot of time just to recover a person who's really suffering in gambling addiction.

Addiction is one of the hardest mental illnesses to treat so be careful on compulsive gambling.  Sad

People just sometimes think that they are healthy, they do not notice what harm they do to themselves and their family by constantly spending money and time on gambling/alcoholism/drug addiction. This makes it difficult to convince them that they should start treatment for addiction.

Because that is how things work, people are good on giving advices but the irony will be always there, since they can't even give advice for themselves. Other people are meddling in other's people lives that is how they can't spot or realized what is wrong with them, because they don't have time to look at themselves in the mirror, or maybe, that is how they define what happiness is, by not minding their own business.

They are calling others addict even themselves are addict to in something else. Curing addiction is no joke, whether it is in gambling, drugs, or alcohol, it will takes courage and effort to eliminate the bad addiction to all of us.

true true mate but we should do it than not doing it all because once you give advice to other people atleast some of them can listen on it and realized thier mistake and who knows?

what if one day they prolly decided to stop  .

we can still changed lives on our own little ways or by simply saying a motivational speech or advices even if you knew to yourself that you are not perfect  .

well there is no perfect on this world anyways.
3319  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reputation at stake will you stop gambling on: March 03, 2020, 02:31:25 PM
For me, what really matters is on how you look at yourself as a gambler. Gambling is not bad, the only negative part in that is how you deal with it, if you are an experienced gambler and have known to control it, I think it is not a bad image. What really matters is on how you look at yourself and believe that you are rightful to be a candidate and it will show. Other people's thoughts and opinions are only for them, just show them what you really are and be a rightful participant.

in short show what you are and dont hide your self to the public just because you are gambling  , in that way they will know your personality and they can easily accept you   rather than hiding and make your self look like shady   . by doing those said act , people will get curious on you and they will think that your a untrusted person like your hiding something   from them   . lets be condifent enough and accept whatever people will think on us , what important is we are happy playing a gambling  .
3320  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading vs. Investing. on: March 03, 2020, 01:45:17 PM
Trading and investing should be decided based on age and money we want to risk , for example if age is 35 50 % of the capital should be invested for long term and other 50% for trading and short term , like wise when age is 60 -70years  cant risk our money because we are not earning any more if we lose in investing or trading its very much difficult to live
I agree with you. Only trade when you're young and have the confidence you need when deciding because this is what will help you a lot in making profits from this market.

I'm not sure, when I get old I can do something here but I will tend to withdraw more money to take care of my life. Of course, everyone will have different ideas so try to make your life better from now on.

your saying that its all about confidence ? well that is one of the key to earn big but you cant forget other key factors too   .  confidence will be nothing if your not intelegent enough on your decisions or on your investments  . i dont also think that its based on the age but i believe any age can do both as long as they understand how it works   .  older age people are known to have thier pension funds , they can earn money with it and they can still use it for both activies    . i see many older people do both though
