3301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ICO investment still worth it? on: June 26, 2018, 10:47:19 PM
For the past two months almost all the ICOs i have invested when they get listed on exchange, they are reduced by about 300% of the price i bought it. Those who buy after the ICO tend to gain more profit than we the early adopters. Now am confused whether i should continue with ICO investments or stop. Guys what do you think
ICO investment at this moment is not that profitable due to the problems in the market with regards to the market volatility. Also, the ICOs at this moment are mostly delaying the crowdsale as well as the listing so profit will not be as quick as before. I suggest waiting until the market recovers before investing that much in ICOs.
3302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I lost half of my crypto amount! what to do? on: June 26, 2018, 10:31:42 PM
Avoid selling and keep in mind that the market dunps are just temporary. All you have to do is to wait until the market starts to recover. It is only the msrket value which is falling but still, it is a partial loss of profit since the amount of holdings is the same. Once the market starts to rise, profit will agsin be earned.
3303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can I hold my altcoin for years in my wallet? on: June 26, 2018, 10:17:58 PM
Ofcourse, you can. But choose only those tokens that would be profitable to be held for years particularly Bitcoin and Ethereum. These cryptos have proved that holding for years would result to huge profit. The growth on thesr cryptos market value are really huge which surely gave those who invested before, huge profit.
3304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When do you predict coins will be stable again? on: June 26, 2018, 09:53:12 PM
Predictions are just expectations and still, has no definite relation on when will the increase exactly take place. But as what everyone are expecting, the possible increase on the market value of cryptos would happen later this year. This assumption might be based on what happened on the previous year whereas the market gone skyrocket at the end of last year.
3305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are investors got tired of ICOs? on: June 25, 2018, 01:48:39 PM
It seems that investors got tired of ICOs in the last months. Do you believe that ICO hype will come back soon?
At times like this, it is not that surprising ti know that some investors are already getting tired from investing in ICOs due to the market volatility which results to profit loss.  The price of the tokens after the crowdsale is below ICO price. Since it happens a lot, investors are worried on having plans of investing to ICOs nowadays.
3306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Your Money Safer In Crypto than at the Bank? on: June 19, 2018, 08:41:51 AM
Obviously, it is not. Cryptocurrencies are mostly volatile, as such risk is present unlike in banks where security exist. Indeed, turning or converting your money into cryptos would be profitable but still, it is also risky. If the concern is securing your wealth, banks would be a better option to do so than in cryptos.
3307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How was your experience in joining bounty or airdrop? on: June 19, 2018, 08:31:13 AM
Hey everyone!

I am very new to joining airdrops. I just wanna know if you had experience joining into some ICOs but did not receive your expected tokens? Or what was your first tokens that you received?

My first received token was very rewarding experience, still counting other and tracking my airdrops atm.

Can you share some of your experiences about this matter?

thank you!
I've never been into airdrops but based on other users which already have experienced joining, bounties are more profitable due to the limited rewards in air drops. As that being said, bounties are more worth participating desoite of the fact that most of the bounties are lasting for a couple of months so patience therefore is needed.
3308  Other / Archival / Re: Why to Invest in ICO? on: June 19, 2018, 07:59:08 AM
Why people invest in ICO when it is risky and these days most of the coins are dropping. Do you think ICOs are going to survive for a long time?
The main reason I think is the profit that the investors are earning from ICOs. Due to lot of ICOs being released everyweek, investors are given chances to earn profit from investing to ICOs especially those that are popular in the market. There are many ICO tokens which sre good for holding through market downfalls which gives them the idea to invest.
3309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I lost over 80k because i sold too early (newbie mistake) on: June 19, 2018, 07:22:49 AM
A while ago i went all in ZClassic and bought about 365 Coins when the price was about 2$ per coin, but i decided to sell a couple of days after.
Two weeks later zclassic mooned and i could make about 80k now.

i learned my lesson in the hard way..
That's indeed sad, but atleast, you have learned a lot from it. Use it as a lesson for you to not again fall for such uncertainty. Surely, this mistake will be a key for bigger profit in the future and hoping that other users will also learn from this one such that selling is not a good thing to do especially if it is due to panic.
3310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it better to buy during ICO or Market? on: June 18, 2018, 10:58:34 AM
I noticed that many investors were afraid to buy during ICO because their reason they are cheaper can be bought on market. Especially when they found out  that a large percentage is allotted in the bounty program. Many Bounty Hunters  immediately selling token/coin even lower than the ICO price.

#Datarius

I think, buying after the release of a certain token in the market is a better thing to do than to invest during the ICO. The reason has something todo with the market volatility. The markrt value of ICO tokens do usually fall upon being listed so loss of profit is also expected. While on the other hand, investing after the ICO is more likely to result in huge profit.
3311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bounty not an investment? on: June 18, 2018, 10:43:57 AM
Simply because bounty hunters are not investing money to participate on bounties. Joining is absolutely free, but the profit is not. Bounty hunters are working hard in order to promote orojects. Oatience is also required since most of the bounties are lasting for months and in a line with that is the market volatility.

3313  Economy / Speculation / Re: The reason why we should invest in Bitcoin Or Ethereum ? on: May 16, 2018, 03:12:12 PM
The biggest reason on investing to etherium and Bitcoin is to earn huge profit. Investing to BTC and ETH would result into huge profit because of the continuous increase on their market value, hugher than other cryptos. The characteristics of being decentralized and fast transactions are just plus points and benefit of using cryptos.
3314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When do you think Eth will break $2,000? on: May 15, 2018, 10:32:30 PM
When do you think Eth will break $2,000?
This breakthrough needs time. The market value of Etherium is quite struggling at this moment so we should slexpect for maybe a year before its market value cross an amount as such. The best thing to do as its market value is growing is to just hold and be patient. Profit will be earned as its price rises.
3315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still believe in ICO ? on: May 15, 2018, 02:54:24 PM
There are many ICOs that are being released each in everyday so it affects the number of successors and failing ICO or campaign itself given that not all ICO are successful and not all are profitable. I still believe on ICOs, a user just need to choose one good ico in order to make it profitable. Making assumptions from the platform of the ICO as well as its use, would be a good basis.
3316  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What makes Bitcoin valuable? on: May 02, 2018, 05:41:02 PM
Everyone in the crypto space has had people tell them that Bitcoin is worthless or that it doesnt have any true value.

Of course, thats infuriating to hear, but for investors new to the space, its sometimes hard to craft a good answer.

So heres a little cheat sheet for any newbies out there who get this question or accusation:

1. Bitcoin is safe.  It cant be hacked because its decentralized.
2. Bitcoin eliminates layers of transaction fees.
3. Bitcoin is fast (especially after the lightning upgrade).
4. Bitcoin provides more privacy than normal transactions.
5. Bitcoin hedges against stupidity from central banks and governments.
6. Bitcoin cant be counterfeited.
7. Bitcoin isnt tied to other asset classes and is a hedge against other investments.

In short, Bitcoin solves massive problems with the financial and political world, and that is its value.

And because its the most tested and has first mover advantage, it has been established as a store of value, much like digital gold.

I do absolutely agree with the things mentioned. But surely, the biggest thing which makes Bitcoin valuable is the contiuous increase on its market value for a long run which also gives to the investors and its users. This concept is what attracts people to invest. The profit that its users are getting is what makes Bitcoin valuable.
3317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: hold or sell? help me on: May 02, 2018, 05:22:04 PM
Currently I own a lot of altcoin, I bought them at ico. My account is being downgraded several times. There are many people who say bitcoin will continue to decrease, so altcoin prices also decreased compared to USDT. So now, should I sell them and wait for the price to buy back? Give me advice  Sad Sad
Given that the market value is so volatile at this moment, selling is not advisable. Holding is a more necessary thing to do in order to not lose profit sue to the market volatility. Once the market stabilizes, that's the best time to sell. Surely, the market will soon recover from the continuous dumps from the beginning of this year and that's another reason to hold.
3318  Economy / Economics / Re: Panic selling can contribute to bitcoin price going down? on: May 02, 2018, 04:49:03 PM
I need some opinion if panic selling can contribute of rapidly drop of the bitcoin price. If it is right how can we convince to the bitcoiners to not doing panic selling.
Basically, selling due to panic is indeed contributing to the market dumps. Selling makes the demand low which negatively affects the market value of a certain crypto. Now that many people and investors are selling at this point because they are afraid that ptice might fall even more, we should not be surprised about the things that are happening in the market.
3319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How bad are ICOs this year? on: May 01, 2018, 11:53:53 PM
News headline says "76% of This Year’s ICOs Are Already Under Water"  and most of these are ICOs launched at the first quarter of this year.
If you’re going to invest in an ICO, then, the message is clear: be selective, choose blockchain projects over anything else and make sure you get into the pre-sale. Otherwise, you’ll be wasting your time and your ethereum.

Watch out folks!  Grin

https://news.bitcoin.com/76-of-this-years-icos-are-already-under-water/?utm_source=OneSignal%20Push&utm_medium=notification&utm_campaign=Push%20Notifications
It is really hard to determine since there are many ICOs that are being released in the market. But it is true that many ICOs on the beginning of this year are mostly failed and some are scams. But this issue is innevitable and is the risk on ICOs. Also ,investors are also losing profit at times like this because most of the ico tokens' market value are falking upon being released which is due to the market volatility of cryptos.
3320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Shall I buy ETH? on: May 01, 2018, 11:38:40 PM
Is buying ETH currently a good idea, or should I be going with Bitcoin?
Both etheroum and Bitcoin are good cryptos to invest. The increase on their market value are proportional but etherium is the one who seems to be dependent with Bitcoin's price. Still, investing to whether etherium or Bitcoin would yield to huge profit but investing to etherium is more advisable since it has a lower market value and as such an investor would be able to buy more quantity to hold for a long period of time.
