I only gamble with Bitcoin, since there are no sportsbooks that accept true alt coin wagers. I'm not a fan of depositing ETH, LTC or any other coin only to have it converted to BTC. I'd be more inclined to bet with my alt coins if there was an actual sportsbook that paid out winnings in the currency wagered with. For example, betting with ETH and winning ETH. Haven't seen this since DirectBet, but they're long gone.

Sygambler gets it, too bad other don't-
I think what people fail to understand about this sportsbook, they have wide enough margins and more than likely take in enough action that they would be shooting themselves in the foot by stealing from players. It just doesn't make any sense, why would a company that is already making almost guaranteed money decide to steal 15 BTC that could in turn hurt their reputation and possibly put them out of business? This is why I trusted Sportsbet and joined their signature campaign, where I was always paid on time and when promised. I have only good things to say about this Sportsbook and until someone actually comes forward to prove otherwise, it should be know that Sportsbet is a trustworthy Sportsbook.
hehe glad you showed up mate , at least the community here knows that you are a profitable tipster and know about this biz cause I'm being accused of being an idiot shill by people who clearly don't know anything about sportsbetting if they have done their research they would know that sportsbet is making tons with their margin , and I have said it many times that I would happily accept such bets with such odds if people want to bet with me ( even if they want to deal with escrow ) simply because I can lay the stake at higher odds somewhere else You're a valid asset to this community, so I felt it was only right to chime in and come to your defense. The last thing this forum needs is good people like yourself leaving as a result of others wrongfully accusing/critiquing you.

I'm not defending sportsbet , but can't take single accusation as it's the only way to determine if a site is trusted or not
That is a logical fallacy lol If a company scams 100 bitcoins from their customer, would you wait for them to scam another 100 to take their fraudulent practices into consideration? I'm not sure if you're too nice or just not smart enough.Scam is a scam, regardless of the amount stolen. so my general advice is to avoid it , not because it's a scam but because you will be getting way better price betting somewhere else
I don't mind getting a low price if the website is trustworthy.Giving high odds to attract customers and then stealing their money is no way better than the former. nah it's not a fallacy , they are saying that the user had suspicious acts and you can't be sure if that was the case or not ( that's why I'm against accepting bets without getting network confirmation ) regarding the odds no , you shouldn't take low prices even if the site is trustworthy since long term you won't make money you can find trusted sites like betking , bitcoinrush and nitrogen that they will take your bets at higher odds than nitrogen funny most of the people commented don't know how sportsbetting work , if they did they wouldn't accuse sportsbet cause sportsbet is making tons of money by just accepting bets Sygambler gets it, too bad other don't- I think what people fail to understand about this sportsbook, they have wide enough margins and more than likely take in enough action that they would be shooting themselves in the foot by stealing from players. It just doesn't make any sense, why would a company that is already making almost guaranteed money decide to steal 15 BTC that could in turn hurt their reputation and possibly put them out of business? I think the crypto market now seems to be more suitable for gambling than for normal life, as it seems to solve a lot of things like fast, convenient, anonymous and easy to dodge. the law. Are you saying yes and no? Well, you don't have as much control of your money when it's invested in the crypto market, rather than when sports gambling. You are almost at the mercy of the whales when invested in crypto, with the prices moving based on their actions. Whereas in sports wagering, it is entirely up to the bettor how much they want to risk for a specific match. There are similarities between the two types of gambling but I think sports gambling is much safer than investing in the crypto market.

Any predictions about FIFA World Cup 2018?
Who might get the 2018’s World Cup?
Can anyone successfully predict it?
I've been betting the UNDERS and have been having good luck since the start of the World Cup. The only future I have going is Germany to advance from their group @ -333. I liked those odds as I think Germany also wins the Cup!

Reputation and expertise of team member is a big deal when it comes to ICOs, Fanchain by Sportscastr is a project that excels in both, a project primed to be the next big thing of the blockchain. Kudos for the work so far.
We appreciate this very much! Hope you'll join us on Telegram - www.t.me/FanChain
I've been hanging in the Telegram channel for the past few days, and was hinted that there will be some "big news" in the next month about a strategic partnership. I've been thinking that it will either be with a professional sports franchise or a major network, but that's all speculation. Really excited to see what's in store for this project in the upcoming months.

I don't believe in media manipulation arguments personally. Most of crypto investors around these forums don't even follow mainstream media writings. Most people are wise enough to buy their ideas themselves..
I respectfully disagree with your opinion, as I believe that media manipulation plays a major role in the Bitcoin price. Television shows like Fast Money regularly have segments on the crypto market and many of the panel members are crypto investors. For example, when Coinbase's new President & Chief Operating Officer Asiff Hirji spoke about the new venture fund, the price of BTC went up. Not only that, but to claim that "Most of crypto investors around these forums don't even follow mainstream media writings" isn't entirely accurate either.

I voted for YES- it is pseudo anonymous so if you are not careful it can be revealed. To no surprise, this is the most popular vote by a count of 10 to 5, with the 5 other people thinking NO- it is never antonymous. This is a good indicator of how far Bitcoin has come, compared to the days when it was actually believed to be 100% anonymous, to now there being a better understanding that it is in fact a very traceable coin. If you are truly looking for anonymity, some better options of coins would be Dash or Monero.

One of my favorite and invested in projects since right after the ICO, it's tough to see such a promising project take a major hit in value during this bear market. I've been a big supporter of Golem and what Julian and the team have done with the release of Brass Golem. Still in alpha stage, I expect this project to be around for a long time, as the concept of renting out computer power like an Airbnb is something quite unique and fascinating to anyone in this space.

I'm excited to be a part of the promotion of FanChain; as I see it as a project that I myself will actually use. I am fully in agreement that spots commentary can, at times, be often so one-sided that it's almost impossible to listen to. So to be able to participate in a live sporting event by providing my own commentary and in return getting REWARDED with tokens is certainly something of great interest to me.

Ethereum will always be a long time hold for me as an earlier adopter.
There were many times when I thought to myself about selling off even a few of them, and thankfully I never did.
As more and more ERC-20 tokens and projects started to develop, I began to realize that Ethereum was more than just a way to invest and make money; but rather that the applications built on its blockchain would be a very important part of our future technology.

As a big fan of the NBA and someone who is very familiar with commissioner David Stern, I am very interested in this project. The fact that someone as popular and recognized as Stern is putting their trust in an Ethereum-based crypto currency only makes the project that more promising. With the recent Supreme Court ruling on sports wagering, hopefully FanChain can benefit and grow with all of the potential and billion dollar annual market.
Thanks for joining us jeremypwr. Let's continue this conversation on Telegram. Our team would be happy to meet you. www.t.me/FanChainI would have loved to, but I was denied acceptance to join your signature campaign. Good luck with your project. All spots must have filled. DM this account and we can resolve. We appreciate you. PM sent! Thank you

With the current bear market, it may not be the worst decision to Trade some coins for fiat. While I am normally a firm believer in HODLing, I'm starting to think that BTC may reach a $5,000 price again, therefore I'm selling bits a day.

If you're debating which would be a better investment, you need to remember 2 very important things: 1) Bitcoin is similar to gold, it has value but other than that it just sort of exists and the price (value) fluxuates. 2) Ether is used for applications, with actual use cases.
You need to decide if you want the "gold" or "applications," or invest in both!
Tough to determine their actual prices.

No thanks, I've lost far too much BTC in HYIP over the years to every consider them anything but a scam.
For those wondering what a HYIP exactly is:
A high-yield investment program (HYIP) is a type of Ponzi scheme, an investment scam that promises unsustainably high return on investment by paying previous investors with the money invested by new investors.
