3302  Other / Meta / Re: BitCoinTalk hidden pages on: April 08, 2015, 01:20:08 PM
When I read hidden feature I though this should be in this thread.

Something like that will be in the new software.

There's a hidden feature in the current forum that allows you to filter "unread posts since last visit" by board:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=unread;boards=6,37,4,1

added in OP!!!
thanks shorena!!!
3303  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: The Bitcoin Mutual Fund on: April 08, 2015, 01:10:40 PM
Nope, not an HYIP or Ponzi. I encourage you to try it free. Use promo code TWTR and get .005 free account value right off the bat. No deposit needed.

Thanks
Caleb

Deposit .04btc to get .005btc seems a fair deal to me Sad

how many days to get .005 with a .04 deposit???
if i undestand well.. it is an 8% reward?
8% / week could be right
3304  Other / Meta / Re: Would this bot be allowed on the forum? on: April 08, 2015, 01:06:43 PM

The bot would edit the OP of a thread based on commands of users posting in the same thread.  The bot would run on a dedicated bitcointalk account and only ever edit the OP in 1 thread.  The purpose is to run games.

If it is allowed how the heck would you make some like that?

the game is already running??
if yest can you share the link plz!

thanks

3306  Other / Meta / Re: 'Recruiting' Participants? on: April 08, 2015, 07:45:28 AM
I think as long as the message is personalized then it would not be considered spam. I think any automation of this system would definitely cross the line.

I do think it is unethical to only recruit members of default trust, it seems to me like an attempt to buy trust.

hi madz!

you got it!

the cross line it's exactly /personalization/automation of the PM.
I don't think so for the frequency/number.
You can contact 20 people/day, but the PMs are sended without bot and are fully personalized i think it is not SPAM for sure!!!!
3307  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: THE BEST ROTATOR WITH 2000 FAUCETS on: April 08, 2015, 07:38:42 AM

3310  Other / Meta / Re: 'Recruiting' Participants? on: April 07, 2015, 08:29:19 PM
I don't think it would be right to PM a person/member who isn't expecting a PM from you. It would be called spamming as he would just be notified about an offer which he has no interest in (may be). If I only talk about this forum, then yes it would be considered spamming. But if you open a thread about a recruitment offer and members reply saying "PM me the details", then they want to be notified about the job. It's not like I am a member of a job website where I get notified about all jobs that match my interest.

i do not agree....
if a receive a PM asking me to participate to a campaign because i write appreciable posts...
for me it is ok...
i'm in the condition to answer yes or no...
that's all
3311  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Sell bitcoins for Payza on: April 07, 2015, 08:27:05 PM
This listing clearly is for people unable to access those exchanges. Of course i want my profit from the selling,  hence the 4 USD for 0.01 BTC.

ok!!!
but you are asking for an increase of 60%
it is not too much???
ok ok ok !!!
you are free to ask it...
and so..
ask iT!!!!

Selling bitcoins for payza

Rate is 400 USD for 1 BTC
Or 0.01 BTC for 4 USD.

More than 0.10 BTC to sell.

PM if interested.

hem hem..
something wrong here...
on bitstamp you can but for 255.49$
on btc-e you can buy for 249.01 and so on....

why buy at 400$ for 1 btc???

 Huh Huh Huh Huh
3313  Other / Meta / Re: 'Recruiting' Participants? on: April 07, 2015, 07:43:00 PM
What I want to know is: may a campaign manager 'recruit' participants? If allowed, I'm sure many would.

What would count as 'recruiting' a member?

Would it only be considered spam if someone reported the PM?

I've seen this thread recently with campaign managers.

I'm undecided if it should be or is allowed or not. Input appreciated!

i think it is ok.
if you PM someone to recruit him,
you do it,
because him post good materials...
no spam,
no fud,
no throll....
and so you can ask him to partecipate!!!
3314  Other / Meta / Re: how to permanently delete a banned account? on: April 07, 2015, 06:03:40 PM
-snip-
If I were going to do this myself I'd just make a script.  As you say, sounds very tedious to do this by hand.  Then again you're reading each one.  I'm surprised you don't charge more for this.  Then again, I'm surprised that people feel the need to do this at all.  LOL!

I currently dont offer removal of posts for this reason. I dont see a way to automate this without possible deleting crucial posts and Id have to charge a very higher amount for doing it manually. I am certainly open for offers, but deleting e.g. my ~3.5k posts would take me roughly the 4 weeks I have before deleting the random data.

On the other hand if you want to remove your own posts you probably would not read them all again and could easily automate it.

i think with a bot, you can filter the posts you want to mantain...
for example...
if you want to maintain last post
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1013764.msg11009687#msg11009687
you need to pass to your bot/script topicID/msdID to skip deleting.
or better, still i think msgID it is univoc inside bitcoin talk forum...
so could be enough.
3315  Economy / Economics / Re: Trading question on: April 07, 2015, 05:53:33 PM
I would suggest not trying it . I have read a lot of threads of people trying it out, but in the end the fees/Deposit-withdrawal times/ and the volatility will put you down .

read above...
no withdraw and deposit...
for this approach you need too much time...

you need a bot...
if you have 2BTC&500$ to invest you need this config

exchange 1: 1btc plus 250$
exchange 2: 1btc plus 250$

if you have 3btc&750$ add a third exchange

exchange 3: 1btc plus 250$

then you configure a bot and when the books show a profittable spread, you buy/sell at the same time betwee the 2 more profittable exchange.

that's all.

but remeber.. do not think it is easy to do money in this way.
3316  Economy / Economics / Re: Trading question on: April 07, 2015, 10:27:48 AM
Hi everyone I am new to the forum and the world bitcoin.

I've found something that have seen many that are safe differences between different pages market. The problem is that I could not achieve realize these differences always a different problem. For example I see in Bter a coin to 443 and meeting at ccedk or cryptsy kind to me 661 and transfer it to sell at that price and stay with a difference.

At the time of operation that magically low price and I lose the money. Perhaps you can not do what I want or how it works?

Thanks everyone

PD: I happened to do this to avoid having to wait up a coin doing it within the same page

this is called arbitrage.
for do that,
you need to have money in bTer and Cryptsy at the same times.
doing so, when you look at profittable spread... you need to buy and sell at the same time in all 2 exchange...
usually, to do that, you need a bot!
3317  Other / Meta / Re: how to permanently delete a banned account? on: April 07, 2015, 08:54:46 AM

If the account is deleted, all posts will also be deleted or sometimes the username of OP will change to something else to keep the posts. It always is better to keep the posts because some of them maybe important.

Edit: shorena already answered.

it should be possible keeping posts yet deleting accounts. only thing, the username on the post seems anonymous or something like that. I think that should be a right for users to be able to do that.

people generally want to go away with their content.

i think the right management for this case,
it is to delete user account plus his contents.
If a mod decide to bann an account it means who is posts are useless.
And for this reason, i think if a user account is gone, contents need to gone with him.
otherwise it would not be happy to ban a user.

3318  Other / Meta / Re: how to permanently delete a banned account? on: April 07, 2015, 08:14:07 AM

hi there .. therer is no such way to delete your banned account . you just change your password randomly like `` 123434gfgsdfk `` this kind and forget it dont save it you will not access your account hence its deleted for you . !

Awesome example of how to not pick something random.  (use something like this for your brainwallet and watch your bitcoins get stolen instantly!)

no prob!!!
i mentioned above,
i will use a randon GUID,
if i decide for this way.

Hello,

I have couple of Antminer s3+ machines and I noticed that they are all recording huge amounts of rejects and discards when mining bitcoins. The reject on this one Is low, but on others very high.
What is it that I am doing wrong?

GH/S   430.55
ACCEPTED -  1,535
DISCARDED  - 42,455
REJECTED - 13

Also, any good pools out there to mine?

Thanks.

take a look to the temperature...
maybe it is overheating??
do you have the possibility to get this data?

Good news but I guess the damage is done, and things will not go back to normal. I would never put any money in a Cypriot bank.

the cyprus's story it is an old story...
the first cyprus "cool" news was the "compulsory withdrawal" from the bank account.
and EU still here
