3301  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [Selling] Cheap Microsoft Product Keys - 1337keystore.com on: April 02, 2015, 10:01:29 PM
I paid using the autobuy on his website and never receive a key...
If you are not sure about some weird site just don't use it next time. I am not saying that it is a scam site, but it may be glitchy or just broken, and you will never know. If you really want to purchase Microsoft key it will be better if you buy it directly here. If you want be 100% sure use escrow, although price is not really high enough to use escrow for this trade...
3302  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Megacool and low S# Silver Wallet coin!!!! on: April 02, 2015, 09:51:58 PM

Op. Please fix your photos, I can't see anything here, and I am pretty sure your pic hosting service is broken.
3303  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] Lealana Bitcoin 0.5 + 0.25 on: April 02, 2015, 09:49:28 PM
Both coins are sold!

Thank you to all who have showed interest.

I will keep the thread open for communication purpose until goods is delivered.
That is too bad that I did not see this thread earlier and I am here too late. These coins are really beautiful and I can see that Coins are already sold but I did not see the price...
Can you disclose how much did it cost? Or it is some kind of secret trade? I am asking because I wonder if I could afford it.
3304  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: QUICK POLL: DaDice Avatar Campaign on: April 02, 2015, 09:37:41 PM
DaDice Avatar Campaign has now been officially withdrawn.

Sorry guys*.

*To those who voted yes.

@WhatTheGox, lol. Smiley
Can you shed some more light and tell us what happened? I found this thread now and I voted yes, only to read this topic a bit further and see that this avatar campaign is no longer possible.
3305  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NASDAQ Article -- The Price of Bitcoin Is About to Get a Little Government Help on: April 01, 2015, 10:42:39 PM
I dunno. I saw this on reddit and wanted to share w/you all.  Is this legit??
I think it is elaborate faux  this article is just too good to be true. Bitcoin will be regulated by government now? And used because it is too expansive to pay fees for payment processing and other shit like that, really?
I find everything said in this article a total contradiction to previous government and politics statements.
3306  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could you imagine your life without Bitcoin poll on: April 01, 2015, 10:18:07 PM
We are not exactly far ahead in this whole 'evolution' of bitcoin. Bitcoin is not global currency, it is not mainstream payment method for most people it is rather little new 'trick' or new technology for geeks.
We bitcoin users, who can feel already bitcoin potential could miss it, but majority of 'normal' people out there are not even aware of bitcoin existence. So no, for now bitcoin is not 'strong enough' to be missed.
3307  Other / Meta / Re: Account Banned without any reason provided on: April 01, 2015, 10:12:17 PM
but I have been not spamming the forum

You bought the account? Are you aware of the deleted posts?
What is this rule? Could someone explain it to me. I never heard about something like that. Are you trying to tell me that posts of older long-inactive accounts are being deleted?
3308  Other / Meta / Re: Remove All Faucets from Service Announcements on: April 01, 2015, 10:00:33 PM
And after the newbies spend hours and hours of their time trying to get "dust" from these faucets the next thing they tend to do is post in Technical Support complaining that they can't spend their dust without paying a huge fee.

So IMO the deeper you can bury them the better (I no longer bother replying to the posts for help with dust and I think even DannyHamilton is losing patience with that as the same question appears at least once per week).

These sorts of things really do not help to promote Bitcoin in any positive way at all.

You guys care too much about faucets but when it comes to ponzis and other similar scams you made an entire sub section just for it, i will never understand it.
I doubt any even slightly advanced bitcoin user or a man who can simply use the basic of mathematics care about faucets. For most people faucets are just cancer on par with ponzi  schemes. Therefore I would like to ban any faucet related topics from Beginners and Help section and move every faucets related topic to their own subforum.
3309  Other / Meta / Re: Avatars re-enabled on: April 01, 2015, 09:52:06 PM
Thanks for avatars. It sure is good option to have... again. Better later that never. Too bad we can't have animated pictures and I think I would be better if avatars would be available only for Senior members and above. This way you really will have to earn it.
3310  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will Fizzle to Nothing.. on: April 01, 2015, 09:35:53 PM
I think op is just confused and disappointed by fact that bitcoin is not already main global currency. I understand him, I also think that brilliant concept of bitcoin should be already everywhere. But you need to remember that it is more like an evolution of current payment standards and not total revolution which will be take place over one night. Just be patient.
3311  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could the Federal Reserve Issue Their Own Cryptocurrency? on: March 31, 2015, 01:21:49 PM
In collaboration with this IT gigant they will create the best coin so far
Do you mean "best" as in decentralized or do you mean "best" as in most likely to appreciate in value?
I am not sure about decentralisation and other aspects of this FED's coin as its 'privacy", open source etc, but I think what this coin will excel with is its stability and anti-volatility.
Price of this coins with almost for sure match dollar value and will be linked to it.
3312  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could the Federal Reserve Issue Their Own Cryptocurrency? on: March 31, 2015, 12:35:10 PM
The proper question here should be: when Federal Reserve Bank will introduce their digital coins and not if. At this point I am sure that they are working on project like that, creation of an alt coin is
after all pretty simple task. Don't you guys forget that they at FED have blessing and support of IBM? In collaboration with this IT gigant they will create the best coin so far. Question is: when they release it.
3313  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Busted! Cops taking BTC! on: March 30, 2015, 10:58:35 PM
Holy Shit. That's crazy
What is so surprising here? That the federal agents stole bitcoin? Police or law enforcement in general have a very long history of corruption and rogue agents being present. Crooked cops and FBI agents before have been stealing evidence, money, drugs, weapons - basically everything valuable since like forever, really. We just entered new era of bitcoin - it is just new kind of money, of course they will be stealing that too.
3314  Other / Politics & Society / Re: North Korea created Bitcoin to be able to maintain power? on: March 29, 2015, 09:57:56 PM
this is one of the funniest things ive seen in awhile, north korea creator of btc! lol i highly doubt this, but then again you never really know Tongue
Actually it is news like that are spreading because  we don't really know much about origin of it. But people will believe that there is some 'backdoor' or hidden 'take over' button somewhere in the bitcoin code.
And North Korea or whoever will be able to just snatch bitcoin in the future because of it.
3315  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-03-27] deepdotweb.com Sheep Marketplace Owner Arrested on: March 28, 2015, 12:46:31 PM
One less scammer!
I think that Czech guy is just regular nerd who was catched in big business and he felt like he can grab people's bitcoins because it is some kind of a game.  That type of scammer is not the worst and as you can see he have not knowledge how to run away with money. The worst kind are professional fraudsters - guys who created Evolution Market were this type of scammers, and we will never find them.
3316  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-03-20] Video: Finance journalist Kyle Coward discusses Bitcoin barriers on: March 28, 2015, 12:19:14 PM
I just watched it and I have to say that I hate when newsman is asking right away and insinuates that bitcoin is primarily used to buy 'guns, drugs and other illegal goods'. Really? And you can't buy guns and drugs with dollars?! Also reporter is asking who is 'in charge of bitcoin', as he did not understand anything Kyle is saying for the whole interview of decentralized nature of bitcoin.
3317  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am pretty confident we are the late adopters, gentlemen. on: March 28, 2015, 12:05:03 PM
Not true. This industry s stll in its infancy. If you wanted to get rich after investing $300 for a GPU, then yes, you missed the boat. If you think long term, still lots of space and time.
It sure seems like we miss something big. Of course wa can't be sure what stage of bitcoin are we in now, we have only our assumptions and everything can change fast. After all MySpace ratings was awesome in the past as well, and everyone know what happened with this service. With Bitcoin it could be the same.
3318  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have Bitcoins helped to improve your life? on: March 28, 2015, 11:41:51 AM
I didn't have improvements, only regrets of selling at 60$ a pop Tongue . I haven't really used bitcoin ever since not a lot of people around me actually use it. But I definitely see the scope for it, without mass adoption it won't be a reality though.
I will tell you once more time. Do not feel regret about it. It is the same as you would regret buying lottery ticket every time, because you could win afterall, but you didn't know the winning number then.
Unfortunately you learned that volatility of part of bitcoin and so far we can't do anything to change it.
3319  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ProTip vs Changetip One of BTC's Killer Community Apps? on: March 28, 2015, 11:19:57 AM
Interesting ideas, I just made a new thread here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1005282.new#new
There are some more screen shot of what we are working on.
Thanks a lot for the support and feedback!

ProTip Launch Team

I am not sure. Is Protip a competitor or something that intends to stay just like changetip in the market  ?
Yes, they are two different projects. While idea is basically the same - you can tip people on the internet in a simple and easy way. But they are using different approach. And it is really good that we have to team focused on developing something similar because competition is the greatest force of progress.
3320  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have Bitcoins helped to improve your life? on: March 28, 2015, 11:04:37 AM
My life could've improved a lot because of bitcoin, if I just had sold them at $1000, instead of investing all my coins in scammy companies and lose every single coin. Smiley

Yeah i was lucky and did sell at $1000. I'd been doing jobs for bitcoins so the whole intention was to sell them straight on. Just happened that the majority I sold were at the top end in price.
That price spike was so long time ago that it seems like a myth at this point really when we are stuck with price less than $300. And I was attracted to bitcoin just because I heard about that amazing price increase.
But now I learned that it probably was just a hardcore pump and I could never happen again.
